We struggled with opening the door, even after getting a new card. It just took a special touch to get it open. We were looking forward to getting their continental breakfast. We went down at 8:00 and nothing! The lights weren't even on and nobody came to the front desk for us to even inquire about it.

The room was not ready when it was supposed to be then when my friend who I rented the room for. After she finally got the key, she went to open the door, and it was occupied with a very large dog that tried to attack her. When she went back, upset by this, she was given another room with two double beds. She booked a room with a king size bed. They proceeded to treat her like garbage and told her tough luck and when she got upset, they threatened to call the police on her, so she demanded a refund and left.

The beds were fine. We booked king bed rooms and got two doubles. The water while showering was barely warm. Staff seemed non existent in the morning around 8 am. If it’s just for a night , it will do, any longer, go elsewhere.

Floors was very dirty and sticky. 2/3 lights in the bedroom did not work. Never turned on. There were blood stains on the side of the bed when I pushed away all the covers to check. I’m a tourist and I work pest control in another state and can tell that’s a sign of bed bugs. There was a recliner chair with burn mark on each of the arms. Room felt very dirty. Just not good vibes. Bed blankets were made but had dried orange food stains. Not acceptable or respectable room.

The room wasn't the very clean. The tv did not work. When i called the front desk regarding the tv the front desk lady advised me to unplug the tv from the wall ( which the tv sat on a dresser that i couldn't move) then she said that she would send the maintenance man out tomorrow at 930 am. The desk light and clock didn't work. The next morning i got up and headed to work and when i return to my room the curtains were opened and the bed was made !! I did not see my cervical pillow or heating blanket that i brought from home. I rented the room for 2 nights. I should be reimbursed for tonight since in not in the room and my personal belongings were removed. The front desk was closed and i called the office number and nobody answered.

It seems more like a long term motel with many families living there. The neighbors noise kept us up all night, the management did nothing after requests at eight, ten and midnight. The room was clean except it smelled like smoke and there was something brown on the light switch. Could have been dried blood. The property posted no smoking and no pets, and someone had a barking dog. The management also began swearing at my husband when we checked out early. I understand there is a place for everyone, and some good people don’t qualify for renting, but they really should be honest about what they advertised.

What a disappointment

Pole lamp did not work. When I tried to move it to another Outlet, it stuck to the floor! Otherwise room was clean. Was glad there was a recliner in the room as that is where I sleep.Breakfast was a disgrace. There was no hot coffee for the 3 days I stayed there. When I complained to staff, they did not offer to make some fresh. Waffle iron and dispenser were on counter, but no pancake mix to be found. When I complained about no waffles or hard boiled eggs on the second day, the staff said that other people were there earlier and perhaps they ate all the eggs. The staff person just kept saying, \"I'm sorry you feel that way,\" but made no attempt to make the breakfast live up to how is advertised on the marquee outside the hotel. I will never stay there again and have already told several friends about what a disappointment it was.

Great place to stay!

The room was very spacious and super clean. All the little extra things like a makeup wash cloth and how all the towels were folded up and presented made it feel like a “fancy” hotel. Beds are comfortable and tons of pillows.
Staff was also super friendly!

About a hundred flies in the room when I got there — enough to make me think there was a dead animal under the bed. Also, the power strip attached to the nightstand beeped incessantly until I unplugged it. Who installs a power strip like that in a hotel room? Overall, didn't enjoy my stay and won't be back.

Everything is good for the price. I like the Hotel. The only thing that I didn’t like it was duty carpet not good for babies. My wife was walking on the carpet without wearing sandals, and then she went to bed, I saw the surface of her feet, they were black.

There were 2 things that kept this from being a 5 star stay. 1. When you book through hotels.com, apparently you have to call the hotel and ask to have the room you booked. We booked a king bed and were given 2 queens. When we asked to move we were informed that they could give us a king for only one of the 2 nights we booked and then be switched back to the queens because they had other guests coming that asked for kings. They said we didnt call them and ask them for a king. We assumed that when we booked a king we would indeed get a king.

The other thing was the room wasn't as clean as it could have been. There was stuff on the floor that made me wonder if it had been swept.

Honestly if they did a little better with cleaning and actually gave you the room you booked its a comfortable, no frills, budget stay.

How this hotel got a high rating is perplexing. First, I have a small dog and the hotels.com website said there was a $50 deposit. When I checked in it was a $50 non-refundable deposit. Luckily, and after showing them the hotels.com website, they only charged me the $10 per night for my pet. Second, the bathroom sink drain was clogged (the maintenance guy fixed it) and there were many flies coming out of the overfill vent. This was disturbing. I had to block the vent with tissue paper to keep out the flies. Third, the one lounge chair in the room was so dirty I couldn't sit in it. Fourth, it was obvious the floor had not been mopped or cleaned and quite a while. Fifth, the bed was very comfortable. Sixth, the reception person was very kind. In conclusion, the rating for this location was why I stayed here. I won't trust those ratings again after this mess.

A quaint little town and an equally nice motel. We were lucky to basically have the property to ourselves in a slow season, so it was extremely quiet with AMPEL parking for our trailer.
3 nights, we experienced a wonderful hostess/night auditor, clean room, and good breakfast every day.

The check-in was fine. Got to the room. It looked like they swept some of the floor dirt and debris behind the door. Table had not been cleaned there was spilled food on it. Microwave inside and out was dirty. Sink drained very slow and counter top dirty. TV remote needed new batteries, TV was set up in Spanish. It took the front desk 15 minutes to get it back to English. Next morning found a dead roach beside my bed. Shower floor dirty. Do not recommend this place at all. One of the dirtiest Hotels I have stayed in.

Good basic hotel chosen to keep costs down. Breakfast buffet needs attendant. Need real milk for cereal and coffee, not oat and powdered. Also, someone left a stuck waffle in the machine and no attendant to clean it, many people left wanting waffles. Room could use one comfortable easy chair. Bath could use lotion for those not prepared for extreme dryness of this area. Very nice towels. Would have used EV car chargers had I known about them, and brought an adapter—I don’t have a Tesla.

First of all. 3 rooms for
2 nights. Reservations were all messed up. Had to argue. And Expedia hung up on me when I called them. And made arrangements to have office open at 630 am to get coffee. And had to wake the attendant up at 705am to at least make coffee. Other were waiting for breakfast also. Not with the money or hassles.

Good parking and convenient location. Room was spacious and decent. The only thing needing service was a slow draining sink. The hotel could be more Eco Friendly by eliminating single use plastics. Dispensers could replace shampoo/lotion bottles. The breakfast was served with styrofoam and plastic utensils. Plastic bags were used to store breads, fruits & muffins and were unnecessary and wasteful.
