The room was clean and organized. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub weren’t available for use and did not know that when we booked.
The breakfast was very good and the front desk help was great.

Clean but could use an update.

Front desk attendant was nowhere to be found upon arrival. Used the front desk phone to call, could hear it ringing in the laundry room. Attendant was found at the other end of the hotel hanging out in someone's room. AC unit in the room needed cleaning, strong mold smell. Had to cover it as best I could to minimize the smell while still keeping cool. Breakfast quite basic, no frills. Ok but not for a return visit if other options are available..

Breakfast was great
Michael
Every thing was good at our stay at Best Western Inn.
David
Nothing fancy however, room was clean and staff were friendly. Decent breakfast included. Good value for a nights rest during long travel.
Coleen
The Breakfast was awesome!
Stefanie
The breakfast was the only thing good about this place. Rooms were musty, damp, and smelt like smoke.
Nicholas
The check-in process was fast and easy. I also appreciate the hot breakfast staff made available to us. The room was functional and as advertised. The property is close to the interstate highway, restaurants, and gas stations, but sufficiently far that the noise and lights did not affect my sleep. The pool is currently closed for repairs, which I didn’t mind as I wasn’t going to use it regardless.
Chas
The pool and hot tub were closed.
Elizabeth
This location had garbage at the back door. The back entry didn't lock, so there was no reason to use a key to get in. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond, so kind. The room was clean, but not updated, and very musty. The hall ceiling tiles were possibly spray painted. The breakfast was nice. We were itching from the humidity and musty air in our room.
James
This property was adequate for our very limited needs as we were just passing through. The room was pretty clean. The breakfast had a pretty good selection especially as we were seeking options to meet toddler needs and adult protein needs.
Lyn
Amazing. We had a great time and I love how close this is to downtown and the bars close by.
Eric
Pool and gym were closed.
Jay
Pool/Hot tub area was closed and was not disclosed when booking. Beds were definitely old and in need of replacement. During check-in, the front desk clerk had her 4 children running all over the lobby and were interrupting the process.
Shower curtain was barely hanging on the wall and the shower was not completly clean.
I can't comment on the breakfast as I did not partake in it.
I definitely feel the cost for this stay did not warrant what I actually got. Will never stay here again.

This property is overall fairly comfortable and well maintained but definitely dated. Rooms are quite small although our king room was fine for two people. Pool and hot tub not working for reasons unknown.. Breakfast was actually quite substantial for an establishment like this. Honestly, shocked by the high price of this room in this area. Mediocre value for something seriously in need of updating. Staff was friendly, check-in was fast and seamless.
Rebekah
The hotel is very old, and poorly maintained.
We were told when we arrived that the pool and hot tub were out of order. Judging from the scum layer sitting on top of the pool I think it’s safe to say it has been “out of order” for a long time.
All in all I do not plan on staying here again.

Hot tub and pool were unavailable, room was clean, staff was good, and the breakfast was not quite as good as it once was (I think a few products changed due to availability or price).
It was a quick stay to avoid an early morning travel rush, I couldn’t have used all the amenities due to personal restraints and time. A few minor problems like an outlet that didn’t work.
Disappointed with the rate considering the pool and hot tub were unavailable during the stay, even though I am aware I wouldn’t have been able to use them. It is part of the value and should be considered as a loss in value of the stay.
Overall, the stay was what I needed, and it was a success in providing that service.

The place was definitely not clean. Very outdated. We had a sign in our room that says it was clean but there was a doll in the closet?? The towels had long hairs all over in them. The fridge was leaking water all over. Our sheets were ripped up. We Purposely wanted to stay at a place that had a pool for the kids but when we got there it was all shut down. It was definitely not worth the price I was charged.
Joslyn
The staff were kind and helpful and the bed was comfortable. But our room had many issues- the shower backed up and didn’t drain, the bathroom door was rotten at the bottom, the sprinkler system was rusted, the handle on the toilet fell off when I flushed it and the closet door didn’t open. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything above you and next to you. The pool area was closed for repairs. A lot of maintenance is needed on this run down building.
Marie
The pool was broken so we couldn't use it. I had prepaid for the room I couldn't change hotels or get refunded since I didn't cancel before check in time. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable and good complimentary breakfast.
Kimberly
I love the location. You have paint falling in the shower. But overall nice stay.
Deb
Offered breakfast with multiple options which was nice. Pool and hot tub area were closed.
Linda
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a great breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable.
Lisa
Convenient for highway travelers, but not far from downtown Alexandria. The breakfast was excellent, with options well above the usual hotel breakfast buffet.

Comfy beds and decent price; it was a bit humid in general so had to keep ac lower than usual. Older hotel that could use some remodeling.
Kevin
Amazing breakfast and really quiet!
Also the staff was really nice

The bathroom was very clean however the remainder could use some extra effort. Breakfast was good. The linens could have been a bit better quality as they were a bit coarse like a good quality of burlap. Not really my type of decor. A good port in a storm. Nothing fancy.
Linda
Good breakfast and helpful staff. Clean linens but rooms could use an update.
Rusty door frames, falling ceiling texture.

Nice clean and comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was really good too.

We have stayed at this property in the past and this time it just seemed dirty. The swimming pool was broken. The gal at the front desk was less than friendly.
I remember the breakfast being pretty good because they had fresh yogurt and that was still the case. And they have berries for the yogurt and they had some fresh fruit so the coffee and the breakfast was good.
All in all, we won’t stay there again. We go to Alec frequently because we have family living there and we’ve stayed at the best Western a few times but we won’t stay again after this last time.

Our stay was mostly ok. Our room was really musty and the sheets felt damp so that was the worst part. Breakfast was pretty good.
John
Front desk staff on day and night shift were pleasant and helpful when inquiring about local restaurants/activities. Stayed here for the second year in a row.
Michelle
When I arrived, I was informed that both the pool and hot tub were out of order. This was a bit disappointing but I understand things happen. The lobby was clean as was my room. The breakfast was good and had a variety of items. The refrigerator in my room was very cold, froze the cans of pop I had. I didn’t see a dial to turn it down. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would definitely recommend!
Jessica
The property is in need of some updates. Carpet is dated and the door to the Room didn’t close properly. There was a pretty large gap between the door and the frame. Did creep me out a little.
Everything appeared pretty clean except the remote for tv was pretty gross. We giggled about it because it was called a clean remote.
The breakfast was great! Many options to choose from. Very impressed with that.
Overall it did the job of a quick overnight stay that didn’t break the bank but I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

Beds were great. Breakfast was good. But bathroom had mold on the walls and sprinkler. Shower pressure was a trickle, the furniture was full of rips. Rooms were fairly clean for the most part. Staff were friendly. Just some issues with the room. Pool and hot tub was closed.
Alan
Clean room, friendly staff, quiet place with a good breakfast.
Shirley
The pool and hot tub were Not working!
I paid $114 for 1 night and I would like a partial refund of $55!

Room floor was sticky & had some candies left on the floor. The toilet wouldn't flush properly. Ran out of kleenex right away. Staff wasn't very friendly. Stayed there last year & had a nice stay. This year not ao much, won't be back again.

Old, not renovated, not kept up, poor shape hotel. Breakfast was minimal, would not recommend this place. Old, dirty and smelly
Tammy Jo
Safe area. The rooms are pretry run down. Dresser drawers would've stay closed. One shower and we disnt have any more hot water. Toilet ran continuously. Breakfast was below average. King bed was very comfortable. Wouldn't stay here again it just wasn't the best experience.

Clean Room, friendly staff
Whitney
The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was a typical continental hotel breakfast and ready on time. The pool and hot tub were large and welcoming but the hot tub looked like it could use some descaling.
David
good breakfest
Brenda
We stayed only 1 night as we were passing through on our way to Pennsylvania. The hotel was very nice and well priced, staff were excellent, our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, hotel was quiet, and the hot breakfast included with our stay was excellent! We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area!
Priscilla
Parking lot was not cleared from snow that had fallen the night before.
Stephen
The hotel was fantastic. A quiet comfortable place next to everything!
Thomas
Bugs all over as well as dirt built up on climate unit

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Lobby and eating area very clean. Rooms were average except the beds were below average. Mattresses were old and saggy. Hotel needs furniture upgrades. Desk chair should be thrown away.

The biggest highlight for me was the staff. We were a late arrival and the overnight person was friendly and clearly loves his job. The morning person was accommodating and kind as well. We arrived 2/28 late and checked out on 3/1.
Andrea
Clean, updated room. Good value. Pool room is very warm.
kathy
Room was spotless, loved the large hot tub, best hotel breakfast ever! Curteous staff.
Hannah
We were able to get in a little before check in time so that was nice. But we didn’t get the room we booked. The door didn’t seal all the way so you could see in our room. Looks nothing like the pictures.
thomas
Ceiling above shower had mold. Fridge was not running. Overall though the room was clean and we enjoyed.

Would be nice to have some Kleenex in the room. Shower was very slow. Staff was busy with a their child when we were checking in, not very professional! No milk for breakfast.

Room was spotless, very well kept, friendly staff at check in, pool area was clean and had fresh clean towels for when your done in the pool or hot tub, we've stayed at some other hotels as we travel and this was one of the best! Keep up the great work and great service, overall I'd give it a 10 if I could! We were very pleasently surprised thank you!
