We check in at 8:00pm and got room #217. When we got at the room the door was opened and few towels on the floor. We came downstairs and requested a different room. The receptionist said there was no other room available and she went to clean the room herself.

Within 15 minutes she came back offering room # 234 because a guest was late and we could stay there instead. We accepted the offer and we came in the room, the fridge was filthy with old food in there. I took a picture and complained about it to the receptionist.

One other bad thing was the fridge that was really loud and we couldn’t sleep well because of that noise.

Our room, even being right over a full parking lot on a busy weekend, was surprisingly quiet. It might seem like a minor thing, but the fridge in our room was large and even had a small freezer - useful for re-freezing cooler ice packs. Our room seemed expensive but it seems that's the going rate around a popular summer lake area.

We would book here again. The rooms have been updated and were clean. For as full as it appeared to be it was very quiet both nights we stayed. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. They had just put in a new key card system and that was the only frustrating thing as it was very sensitive, we did have to get the original ones replaced but it was no big deal. We stayed on the first floor as there is no elevator and first floor rooms would be concrete floors/ walls(of course the floor had updated LVP flooring)so the floor was cold and the room had a slight damp feeling and smell- not enough to prevent us from booking again though. Very good value and again wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This was motel (not a hotel imo) was very stinky. They definitely are having some serious moisture control issues there. We had to keep our room AC at 61 to try to take the dampness out ot the room. There is no pool contribting to the dampness. The enitre community was booked so we were stuck at this location. We only were there for sleeping at night. We would never stay there again. I initially thought it looked okay because of the updated floors. It was not okay. Floors felt wet, bedding was terrible. They need some serious work there.

Unfortunately the hotel was soggy. The carpet was humid and the air was very humid. There was a fan going towards the basement and a dehumidifier running by the front desk.

The staff was nice but unfortunately the hotel itself is old and in disrepair. When we entered our room the was a very unpleasant smell. We had to turn the heater on and an awful smell came out of that. We asked to switch rooms. The next room was better but still had an unpleasant smell although not as bad as the first room. Generally, the carpets and floors looked old and stained. All the furniture looks old and worn and badly needs to be replaced.

Sheets were clean though. Towels were clean and fluffy. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Hotel itself badly needs to be renovated/updated

What a lovely Super 8! They are remodeling inside and out. Our room had laminate floors, new bedding and looked fresh and clean. The outside is being redone with Smart side siding and rock. Breakfast was sufficient. Coffee was good. Only complaint was that the pillows were too thick...maybe use a variety of thick and thin! Staff was super courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit again when coming this way!

Our room was nicely remodeled with hard floors, not carpet, which we liked. But, our air conditioner didnt seem to take all of the humidity out of the room, so the floor felt a little tacky if we were barefoot. But otherwise we didnt have any complaints & we would stay again if in the area.

When we got to our room, we found someone else’s dirty laundry inside one of the made beds. I went to the front desk and was offered a new room. I will say that the night staff was pleasant and attentive and worked to fix our problem. When we went to breakfast in the morning we found there were no hot dishes. I went to the front to ask if breakfast was over. The woman at the counter yelled at me, saying she knew the food was empty and she’d get more when she had time. She then went to the back room, came out with hot food and slammed it into the warmer. She then slammed the lids down and let us know how much of an inconvenience it was to refill the food.
