The staff at the front desk was pleasant and welcoming. The staff working the breakfast buffet were helpful and accommodating. I gave the staff 5 stars and the property 4. We use a power bank for charging and the outlet next to the bed didn’t work so my phone wasn’t charging until I unplugged the alarm clock in the room. The pressure on the faucet is really strong at first and hard to regulate.

We got in super late exhausted from driving expecting a clean room to lay our heads for a few hours sadly wasnt the case. There was quite a bit of hair in the sheets, we ended up sleeping on top of the linen, there was also hair in the bathtub and when showering the tub wouldnt drain so was standing in inches of water. Very disappointed in our stay

Older building, but my room was updated. Very clean room, comfortable bed, desk, TV, microwave and refrig. Plenty of pillows & towels. Nice breakfast eating area adjacent to lobby. Typical options for breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuit, toast, muffins, etc) with a waffle iron. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was extremely deceiving by the photos and description. It appeared to be an updated hotel but when we got there, we realized the actual hotel is more like a motel. The doors to each room are all on the outside. The room was partially updated but the carpet was aged and stained. The chair in the room had stains on it. The bedding had holes in it. The parking lot had a lot of broken glass and there was minimal grass for a pet friendly hotel. On a positive note, tthe shower pressure was great, the parking lot was very lit and the staff was incredible.

Sheets had not been changed. Smearded boogers, Chip crumbs on the sheets. Bed bugs visable on the mattress, ranging fom very small to quite large adult bugs. Holes in sheets stains on bed spread. I took pictures and showed the desk clerk. Shes was extremely kind and helpfull getting our refund for the room that we cound Not stay in. No elevater to second floor 2 sets of steps to reach 2nd floor no lighting on steps. It was hard to see steps at dusk.

Our room was comfortable. Our only complaint was the extremely thin walls. There was a child in an adjoining room that hacked all night long. It disturbed our quiet time, but it added to our concern that the child needed to be seen by a doctor.

Excellent front desk Lady! She was friendly and welcoming, very knowledgeable of the property (which was a godsend as it was raining and cold). The property was clean but old, but surprisingly the room smelled fine. No smoking or mildew smells.

The mattress was nice and comfortable, not a dip or sink spot to be found. They provided plenty of towels and a nice array of bathing staples. I noticed a coffee maker, but did not use it. Another thing I noticed was the tv program had DirecTV, as well as the normal cable offerings.

All in all I would recommend, but I do think the pricing could be a bit lower due to the fact this property could use a remodel.

Checking was great, the lady upgraded us to a suite, and I wish she hadn't as it put us in a room on the backside of the building right beside the facility laundry room.Wheeling their cleaning carts and bins to the laundry room was extremely loud for a person on vacation at 7am.
There was only 1 working plug-in in the room which was behind the bed so we had to buy an extension cord to power our phones. Had to let the rust flow out of the pipes before showering. Can definitely tell this room isn't used very often, the dust bunnies under everything gave it away. Can't really say I'd be staying here again.

Check-in was easy. Every staff member seemed genuinely kind, smiley and helpful. Entrance was clean and well lit. We had hoped by the appearance of the entrance our room would be great as well. We reserved a double suite. We were disappointed. We were boarded on the opposite side and very dark side of the property. We couldn't see our vehicle from our room. Upon entering, the room smelled of urine.The carpet was shredded between rooms. The counter was scratched and unattractive. The futon was covered in crumbs. Crossed to the next room and it smelled of cat pee.The faucet handle, though beautiful, would slowly fall and turn off while using. Also we couldn't turn the handle on fully because the water pressure shot the water out of the sink and all over the counter and yourself. Same with the shower head, sprayed the top of the curtain. Beds were clean and pillows were firm and comfortable. The beds are on metal frames so what we thought were the neighbors smashing and kicking things around turned out to be the bedframes knocking every time you climb in and out and move around. That was a tad bothersome. Rooms were a bit on the dark side, lighting is not greatly spaced. Toiletry samplers were great. The breakfast was on the better end. hot coffee and tasty orange and apple juice. Had hot food (mini egg and cheese omelette, biscuit, sausage, seasoned potatoes), cold/hot cereal added topping options (brown sugar, berries, honey) and toast/bagels.Excellent choices for children.

The hotel was portrayed as something beautiful with the picures, in reality, it was disgusting! It was a MOTEL on top of that! Rooms were filthy, beds were falling apart, the door had a gap in it to the outside! I want my money back! I am SO disapointed in this hotel and hotels.com for the way it was shown! The overall Staff is amazing! Ms.Blanca the manager is very professional and treats you like family at the same time. Jodi at the front desk is a Super Star, very helpful, sweet and accommodating! My wife and I stay here when ever we are in Joplin and will continue to. Nice room, friendly staff, and great breakfast. This trip we stayed in a room with a walk-in shower. My wife has some mobility issues and this makes using the shower much safer. Unfortunately when you use it, it can flood the bathroom floor unless you take some extreme precautions.

I wish the listing would have better stated the motel rather than hotel.
The floors felt nasty. As much as one would like to think leaving the seat up after cleaning the toilet bowl is a good thing it’s gross to me to have to touch a community seat.
The bed was firm.
Although this is not a best western issue, my adjoining room guests tried to see if they could get in my door in the middle of the night. Which this lead me to the awareness of no door sweep to help not show another rooms light coming through the bottom and jams of the doorway; which is a best western issue.
The air unit was busted in some areas but also made an incredibly loud noise in the middle of the night just as I was getting to sleep from the door incident.

Nice, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Good assortment of breakfast items, including hot items and make-your-own waffles. The woman managing the breakfast room was exceptionally helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms opened to the outside (like a motel) instead of inside into a corridor. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.
