The staff are great and very helpful, breakfast are good as well considering the amount paid for the hotel accomodation. My son loves the heated pool and location are great.

The only thing I wish they changed would be the shampoo and conditioner they provide are still the little one time use. I have longer hair which isnt enough for us to even share but overall its a great hotel.

Not a pleasant experience! We had a water leak in our room, no hot water the second morning, and someone was in our room snd left a comforter on our bed! BUT, the front desk staff said they couldn’t see anything wrong…they couldn’t understand why we were so upset about it…someone had entered our room, if it was housekeeping they did not do anything in our room! Bed not pulled up, dirty towels still in bathroom!
No resolution from the front desk staff, ultimately they couldn’t have cared less!
Very upsetting and sad to be treated this way.

Great people, location, but just needs some renovatetions and our room smelled. It has a great bar but it closed at 9pm - that,s like prime time for drinks after dinner and sport events on TV etc --what good is that ? Still decent.place to stay. .

The room was a bit dusty and a lamp didn't work. Also, when I opened the door to enter the room the stand for the suitcase was right there in the walkway, which was difficult to maneuver with full hands. Overall, the hotel needed a refresh as everything seems old and a bit unloved. Breakfast was also very lackluster. The staff was friendly though!

The room was as described and met our needs. We found it very handy to have a sliding glass door that opens directly onto the parking lot, in addition to the regular door opening to the hallway, so that we were able to bring our dog in and out without encountering any other guests. It was also handy that the refrigerator was basically double the size of a mini fridge. My only suggestion would be to have more vegan options in the complementary breakfast buffet.

The courtyard is fenced in, perfect for kids to get fresh air, the pool was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, so many options! Having the restaurant right there made dinner a breeze! Will definitely stay again!

I'm handicapped. Although they gave me a first-floor room, access from one's car via sliding glass door was problematic owing to a two-foot ridge of ice. They did shovel a path through for me, though. The sink wouldn't drain, but they it fixed quickly. The fridge froze everything inside it, no matter how adjusted.

TVs didn’t work. Shower was broken. Heater was very loud and falling out of the wall. Computers were down my entire stay and they disable my door cards by accident.
It may be cheap but you def get what you pay for.

I’ve been staying here for 3 yrs for a bowling tournament. Brought my kid with me expecting the pool to be fully up and serviced. No where did it ever say pool was down. Shower handle was pretty much broken and the shower head basically dribbled out. There was empty wrappers in the bathroom and hair in the tub. There was wires sticking out of a hole in the wall. Was the worst experience I’ve had there. I will not stay next year.

Everything was great except for the pool that was supposed to be heated. It was broken & that was the main reason we went there. Steer clear!!Unfriendly check in. Smelled bad in lobby. No sign that the pool was out of service. When I asked he told me I could go swim at the Hampton Inn. 4.00 for a 16 oz soda they clearly bought at Costco. Shower didn’t work well. It was run down. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast and the lady running it. Other than that this hotel was terrible. Independent run should not mean you do no hotel maintenance and expect to have happy guest. Honestly I understand that you clearly cut cost at all possible but your hotel is run down and this is where I choose to take my family.

We had to turn on the heat in our room upon entry, there had been below zero temperatures so the room was freezing. Although the thermostat was at 86 degrees, the room never heated up, as the heater was blowing slightly warm air. We went out to dinner and the show we were in town for thinking it may just take some time to heat up. I did let the front desk know of the issue, and they said they would have maintenance look at the heater while we were out. Upon return, the room was still cold. We had to take the blankets off the other queen bed and the extra one from the closet to be warm overnight. I dared not take a shower in the morning as the bathroom was too cold. We chose this hotel because my husband has some anxiety about feeling trapped in, in larger hotels, and this one only had two floors and access to the outside from the room. The extra amenities such as the pool and breakfast made it ideal for us as well. We did not get to enjoy the pool, as we did not want to go back to a cold room in wet bathing suits, but the breakfast was very nice. It was kept very clean and well stocked. Overall, this was a place I would stay again if it weren’t for the freezing room.

The room had garbage on the side by the refrigerator. There was no cover on the lamp's electrical outlet. The bathroom sink was clogged. The security bolt on the door was broken. The swimming pool was 50 degrees. The gym had missing weights and only one mat which was on the floor and walked on. It had not been straightened or cleaned in the 20 hours I was there. I have an ADA service dog and I was told I could take breakfast but could not eat in the dining room with my dog.

Broken pool was a huge disappointment as we based our choice of hotel on its availability
Had we known the pool was not functioning we would have gone elsewhere
But the host profusely apologized and explained that the third party vendor would not have known this
I don't assess fault on hotel chain directly, but greatly disappointing nonetheless
In defence the host offered us the opportunity to use a pool at another nearby facility, but in our situation it would have been extremely impractical

The hotel was very busy, so it was noisy. Can't be helped but the wall thermostats work better our rooms did not so I did struggle with the room temp. Too hot or too cold didn't seem to matter what temp it was on. The fan on high speed made a popping sound. No one caught the cobwebs over the headboard. And the lamp didn't work. It was not plugged in but doing so did not make it work. That being said I will stay there again in the future. All of the staff were extremely nice. Just little things, busy, time of year, and things that can be addressed.

Checking in was a little confusing as I called Best Western before I booked through Expedia to see if I could get my AARP discount and he said yes. When I got there, they said no discount but were kind enough to apply the discount. Plus I booked a room with a balcony and sleep sofa and got a different room with no balcony. Toothpaste was still on the counter on the bathroom. Maids were slamming doors at 8:15.

The on-site restaurant named Tempestas was excellent and a huge plus for our 3-night stay. We ate there every night and were pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. On a broader note, the hotel was nice, staff very helpful and I should mention that the breakfast one of the best I've had on 3 continents, aided by a hostess who was friendly and took lots of pride in serving hot food and keeping the food and coffee fresh.

Our room smelled so bad like Indian curry food. It was infused in everything because if we put our clothes on a chair or bed they smelled like the awful food smell! My 3 kids complained the whole time. We were told there were no other rooms to get moved to. It was terrible. Very run down hotel in need of renovation and they need to deep clean smelly rooms

I am deeply disappointed with the service. I needed to cancel the booking and the hotel charged me anyway. At the moment I called them to cancel, they charged me. And Orbitz did NOTHING, even though I have been booking with Orbitz since over 20 years exclusively. I will in the future book my hotels somewhere else, and my flights, too. I should at least get some credit and not paying the full price for two hotel rooms, I never set foot in.

Although the hotel is smoke free- the first room we had smelled so badly of cigarettes we had to request a new room. The other room wa a better but shower was dingy, bedding/ blankets were meh & the overall look of the place was not worth the almost $400 for one night. There was also a wedding party staying there & they were loud at all hours & we stayed to get up @ 4am for the marathon. Overall way too expensive for the room & atmosphere.
