All staff we encountered were friendly & accommodating. The room itself was pleasant and clean but the bathroom was in bad need of an update and it appeared unclean due to rust and missing bolt covers on the toilet.

I'm handicapped. Although they gave me a first-floor room, access from one's car via sliding glass door was problematic owing to a two-foot ridge of ice. They did shovel a path through for me, though. The sink wouldn't drain, but they it fixed quickly. The fridge froze everything inside it, no matter how adjusted.

TVs didn’t work. Shower was broken. Heater was very loud and falling out of the wall. Computers were down my entire stay and they disable my door cards by accident.
It may be cheap but you def get what you pay for.

I’ve been staying here for 3 yrs for a bowling tournament. Brought my kid with me expecting the pool to be fully up and serviced. No where did it ever say pool was down. Shower handle was pretty much broken and the shower head basically dribbled out. There was empty wrappers in the bathroom and hair in the tub. There was wires sticking out of a hole in the wall. Was the worst experience I’ve had there. I will not stay next year.

Everything was great except for the pool that was supposed to be heated. It was broken & that was the main reason we went there. They did however have a heated pool to use accross the street at another hotel. They should have let people know before booking. Staff were all very nice & the restaurant was delicious!

Steer clear!!Unfriendly check in. Smelled bad in lobby. No sign that the pool was out of service. When I asked he told me I could go swim at the Hampton Inn. 4.00 for a 16 oz soda they clearly bought at Costco. Shower didn’t work well. It was run down. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast and the lady running it. Other than that this hotel was terrible. Independent run should not mean you do no hotel maintenance and expect to have happy guest. Honestly I understand that you clearly cut cost at all possible but your hotel is run down and this is where I choose to take my family.

We had to turn on the heat in our room upon entry, there had been below zero temperatures so the room was freezing. Although the thermostat was at 86 degrees, the room never heated up, as the heater was blowing slightly warm air. We went out to dinner and the show we were in town for thinking it may just take some time to heat up. I did let the front desk know of the issue, and they said they would have maintenance look at the heater while we were out. Upon return, the room was still cold. We had to take the blankets off the other queen bed and the extra one from the closet to be warm overnight. I dared not take a shower in the morning as the bathroom was too cold. We chose this hotel because my husband has some anxiety about feeling trapped in, in larger hotels, and this one only had two floors and access to the outside from the room. The extra amenities such as the pool and breakfast made it ideal for us as well. We did not get to enjoy the pool, as we did not want to go back to a cold room in wet bathing suits, but the breakfast was very nice. It was kept very clean and well stocked. Overall, this was a place I would stay again if it weren’t for the freezing room.

The room had garbage on the side by the refrigerator. There was no cover on the lamp's electrical outlet. The bathroom sink was clogged. The security bolt on the door was broken. The swimming pool was 50 degrees. The gym had missing weights and only one mat which was on the floor and walked on. It had not been straightened or cleaned in the 20 hours I was there. I have an ADA service dog and I was told I could take breakfast but could not eat in the dining room with my dog.

Had we known the pool was not functioning we would have gone elsewhere
But the host profusely apologized and explained that the third party vendor would not have known this
I don't assess fault on hotel chain directly, but greatly disappointing nonetheless
In defence the host offered us the opportunity to use a pool at another nearby facility, but in our situation it would have been extremely impractical

The hotel was very busy, so it was noisy. Can't be helped but the wall thermostats work better our rooms did not so I did struggle with the room temp. Too hot or too cold didn't seem to matter what temp it was on. The fan on high speed made a popping sound. No one caught the cobwebs over the headboard. And the lamp didn't work. It was not plugged in but doing so did not make it work. That being said I will stay there again in the future. All of the staff were extremely nice. Just little things, busy, time of year, and things that can be addressed.

Checking in was a little confusing as I called Best Western before I booked through Expedia to see if I could get my AARP discount and he said yes. When I got there, they said no discount but were kind enough to apply the discount. Plus I booked a room with a balcony and sleep sofa and got a different room with no balcony. Toothpaste was still on the counter on the bathroom. Maids were slamming doors at 8:15.

The on-site restaurant named Tempestas was excellent and a huge plus for our 3-night stay. We ate there every night and were pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. On a broader note, the hotel was nice, staff very helpful and I should mention that the breakfast one of the best I've had on 3 continents, aided by a hostess who was friendly and took lots of pride in serving hot food and keeping the food and coffee fresh.

Our room smelled so bad like Indian curry food. It was infused in everything because if we put our clothes on a chair or bed they smelled like the awful food smell! My 3 kids complained the whole time. We were told there were no other rooms to get moved to. It was terrible. Very run down hotel in need of renovation and they need to deep clean smelly rooms

I am deeply disappointed with the service. I needed to cancel the booking and the hotel charged me anyway. At the moment I called them to cancel, they charged me. And Orbitz did NOTHING, even though I have been booking with Orbitz since over 20 years exclusively. I will in the future book my hotels somewhere else, and my flights, too. I should at least get some credit and not paying the full price for two hotel rooms, I never set foot in.

Although the hotel is smoke free- the first room we had smelled so badly of cigarettes we had to request a new room. The other room wa a better but shower was dingy, bedding/ blankets were meh & the overall look of the place was not worth the almost $400 for one night. There was also a wedding party staying there & they were loud at all hours & we stayed to get up @ 4am for the marathon. Overall way too expensive for the room & atmosphere.

Rooms and common areas could have been cleaner. Closest ice machine was out of service. No complimentary water given, had to pay for it which is not common in this day and age. Two bottles is customary. Bathroom sink had no stopper or drain plug in it and almost lost a ring down the drain. Very inconsiderate to rent a room in that condition.

This Hotel Did Not Work For Us

Spending over $1200 for 7 nights I expected daily housekeeping! I asked for it. We were lucky to get every other day despite putting the \"Make Up Room\" sign on the door!! I'm sorry but this \"new hotel standard\" is crap and just a way to cut costs. The room was quite tired. The fridge froze everything put in it despite turning the guage down to it's lowest setting - I mentioned this at the front desk and was told that they knew there were issues with some fridges. The air conditioning was loud and the mattress really needed to be changed.
I wanted to do some work in their business center but ALL 3 pc's did not work, which was confirmed by the front desk. The ice machine at the end of our hallway did not work. One of two dryers in the laundry room did not work. They couldn't even give me a statement at check-out which showed a total for our stay- still need to double check this.
Although no fault of the hotel, it's near impossible to turn left off the main road it is on (which is where the city center, shops and restaurants are located) due to extreme traffic coming from both directions.
Sorry, but this hotel simply did not work for us!
...the lady responsible for breakfast was super!

We were completely stunned with how wonderful this hotel was from top to bottom. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (they let us have a 1 hour late check out with no charge), the breakfast was fantastic (best I’d ever had in a hotel that offers it free), it was extremely clean, and the attention to detail was amazing. This hotel should have reviews over 9.0!

Don't judge a book by its cover. We were apprehensive upon arrival, due to exterior look of hotel. Inside it is nice & very clean.

Amazing looking restaurant & bar attached, but its only open later in week. We stayed a monday-tuesday.

Check in was super slow. Only one person at desk, doing his best I guess. But one guest with a dog for chrck in backed up the line to 6 people deep.

Rooms are clean, but dated. It suited our needs. Comfortable, clean and near Keene State College.

The free breakfast is outstanding. The Cleanliness, variety of food choices and the lovely woman tending to it all was delightful.

Didnt use it, but indoor pool area was very large, nice & clean. Also plenty of outdoor grassy space if you want ti sit outside or BBQ yourself.

All in all it was a good choice for us. Great value for the money.

We've stayed here several times before. This was the first time we've been charged for our service dog. On multiple occasions over our 5 night stay, the hallway reeked of marijuana. One night a small party was going on in the parking lot near our room, for the most part they kept it civil and the noise down. For the rest of the time, it was very quiet as we never heard any noise. The breakfast was great with lots of delicious options. Although, they did get rid of the waffle makers and replaced them with a pancake machine. The waffles were much better.

Great price, clean room, very comfortable King bed. Large TV, A/C worked perfect. Quiet. Nice love seat couch and coffee table made for convenient use plus the desk/chair for laptop use. Plenty of outlets for chargers and plug in devices like a laptop. Close to some very nice restaurants for dinner and breakfast.
