Room was clean and warm when we got there, which was nice since we arrived right after driving through a big snow storm.

I only have two small gripes. First, the small cafe/grill closed at 10am. We were not rushing to get up and get coffee (rooms do have a coffee maker) at the Starbucks at the cafe because the sign says \"Starbucks coffee available all day\" or something similar. It closes at 10am with the cafe. There is a Co-op that they share a parking lot with that does also have a cafe and coffee bar so it's not too bad. Second gripe, probably sounds petty, but check out, again, is at noon, and I \"had to use the bathroom\" in the morning and because we were sharing the room with family, I decided to be courteous and use the lobby bathroom and they were cleaning it at around 10:30-11:00am and it took the cleaner forever. I would just think they could clean those bathrooms after checkout and before check in time as I know other people who do the same thing.

One other mention, not a gripe, the hot water was scalding, literally. Typically, you would have a mixing valve to regulate the temperature so it's not too hot,115 to not over 120 degrees.

Other than those items, again, room was clean and warm and the staff was friendly and helpful. Also, a very convenient walk to restaurants and entertainment in town.

The room and property in general was amazing. Super comfortable beds, and room plan. Very walkable to many restaurants and attractions in the town center. Easy parking.
I wasnt impressed with the \"Bistro\" that is essentially a starbucks. Also, no free lounge coffee, you have to buy at the Bistro/starbucks. Other than that, it was a really great stay.

Our sink drain wouldn’t open, so it took ages for water to go down. The A/C rattled very noisily. The pull-out desk was coated in sugar from the previous occupants, and wasn’t cleaned.

Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day, but they skipped the first day, so I carried trash and dirty towels down to the desk to get new linens. The second time, they still hadn’t come when I stopped back at the room, so I asked the desk to send someone. So the service was lackadaisical at best.

Nice gym, nice pool (though too small for laps). Right next to Monodnock Co-Op, which was convenient.

Counter clerk at check in had a bit of an attitude when i expressed my displeasure that the pool was out of service. She told me we can leave..
And after a bit of a pause let me know i wouldnt be refuvded tho of my $1,000 for 3 nights.

I booked a non handicapped room. I was very specific about it with the staff as well. I got there and the room was handicapped and connecting. I called the front desk and told her the issue. She said she was sorry abd that she had two rooms that were non handicapped king rooms but that theu were reserved for people coming that were not there yet. I said Inarrived first and had booked non handicqpped and so i reserved one of those rooms. She said she would tell the guest coming and would call me back when i could change rooms. She never called. I am very unhapoy. The bathroom shower and floor were also not clean and had brown spots. It was not good.

Do better, learn how to manage early check ins.

The stay was for a family wedding. I had reserved 2 rooms at $329.00ea!!

I inquired on 4 different occasions for an early check in due to the wedding being at 4:00. Just one room would be great.
Each time I was told that they could not guarantee an early check in but they can offer private bathrooms off the lobby to be used. I thought odd by Ok we can make that work.
Upon arrival at 3:00 again I was told sorry no early check in rooms are available.
Wait, you offer early check in rooms? Odd when I reserved the rooms months earlier I was told no.
But moving on we have a wedding in an hour.
I said we can make it work and we were shown the way to a door marked “WOMAN”
As the clerk tapped the key card a woman came out. Her shirt was stained with blood. Her forehead and eye area all banged up ans bandaged.
Oddly she stated that they couldn’t check in early so they went for a walk And she tripped and fell.)
I looked at the clerk and asked is this a public bathroom ? Yes she replied it’s all we can do.
Oh for the 4 us -3 females and one male hmmmm/
Whatever we really don’t have a choice we have a wedding to get to.
While we did what we had to in a double sick bathroom mirror and a handicap stall as a dressing room there were voices in the hall out side the bathroom
4-6 other guests were also looking to use the “private bathrooms”
They were told would be available for use if an early check in wasn’t available.
I suggested they take over the Men’s room as we did the Woman’s

Had a Decent Stay with a Major Hiccup

Have stayed here before several times. Always had a good stay. Staff is very nice. This stay was not so great. We booked a 2 room suite. When we arrived we were told we could not get the room because we had a pet. This is NOT stated anywhere on the site. We were given a smaller room and a single room. I booked this hotel for the simple reason of having 2 rooms. We were told they could not give us a rate reduction because we booked the room on. 3rd party site, being Hotels.com, so we were stuck. Our 4pm check in, became 4:35pm. We had to sit in the lobby for 35 minutes waiting for another room. Overall the hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly. The location is great in terms of being close to things. However, the area outside the hotel is a little suspect.

The city had a water main break. We found out from a local restaurant that you could not use the water for the next 4 days. When we asked the hotel. The one lady at the front desk laughed about it and said yeah just go buy bottled water. They gave us no water for our room even though the town was told the water was contaminated and to not use it at all.

I’ve stayed here twice. Both times it was good enough and I’d likely stay there again. I stayed in their king suite with a fancier bath. The main issue is that the dresser drawers in the living area were off their tracks so didn’t close properly. Seems like a minor but visually obvious detail that a manager and staff would attend to anytime theirs a room change.

Great location in Keene. They were in the middle of renovations (pool) and re-doing pricing for their bistro and bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet, the microwave was terrible in the room, and part of the shower handle fell off. Other than that, I would stay there again.

I changed my reservation from the Holiday Inn to your facility because the pool at the Holiday inn was under repair. I had my 2 grand children with me traveling. They were so excited to use the pool until we found no pool heat? and the water around 50/60 degrees! I got the usual answer...SORRY!!!! I have stayed at Marriott hotels my whole life and have never had a negative experience. This hotel was unfortunately, the exception.

When we walked into our room there was a dirty towel on the floor and trash on the floor near the trash can that had not been disposed of. Additionally, the shower looked unclean.

We went to use the pool with the kids and the water was freezing cold (Im not sure if the pool heater was broken?). Not something you could swim in with kids.

When we went to set up the fold out couch for our daughter there was no fitted sheet for the bed or extra pillows. When we called down they said they didn't have any fitted sheets for the pull out, however, they were able to bring up pillows.

Finally, there was also terrible noise from above us at 10 o'clock at night that kept us and our kids awake.

Again, I never have had a negative experience in a Marriott hotel. This experience in Keene NH was the first time my expectations were not met. Extremely disappointing.

It was good, the staff was friendly and helpful while staying there. After we left I realized that I might have left my prescription glasses in the room. I called twice a few hours apart and staff said they would check and call me back. I never got a call back. So apparently once you are gone the helpfulness is gone as well. We were surprised that there were no USB ports in the hotel for cell phones. I guess we just made the assumption that most hotels have this updated feature to their rooms.
