There were bed bugs in 2 of our rooms , dirty washcloths and sheets. We checked out and didn't stay the night . The owner refused a refund . I have filed a complaint with Red Roof Inn corporate and also the county health department .

The room was not clean. I found out in the morning that the bed did not have clean sheets as I found a condom wrapper between the sheets. The bathroom was old and stained. The breakfast that was advertised was non existent. Overall I feel I should have a refund. At the very least Expedia should never offer the property as an option again.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Food shoved in peephole. Crumbs and other trash on the floor. Mirrors were visibly dirty. Towels were not clean and a weird brown color. Room has an odd odor and the sheets definitely had not been changed. Several various stray hairs and other signs of use on the sheets. Toilet and surrounding area was stained and visibly not clean. Also very little toilet paper on the roll and no replacement. Tried to change rooms and while the second room was better as far as odor. Room was not clean. Another couple was having a similar experience and had to switch rooms as well.

Our room was not clean. Someone else’s hair on the pillow. Dirty floor, made your bare feet brown. Soap scum on sink which could have been wiped off but wasn’t. We had three rooms here with family and all thought it was dirty.

I just learned from the group I reserved 2 rooms for that the room was TOTALLY unacceptable...dirty conditions, hair on sheets, hugh spot ( of whatever origin) on entering room, over all bad conditions. They refused to stay and I wish I had known earlier.
I would have demanded return of my reservation monies. I hope the owning corporation takes action to correct this situation.

It was nice they let us check in early as we were needing to dress for a wedding. When entering the room was very hot. My husband checked the ac made sure it was on so it could be cool upon returing to room after the wedding . Once again it was very hot. It was late so we didn't think anyone would come to fix it

Checked in and left for meeting, on return, found air not cooling, ice box not working and stunk when opened, floor filthy, hot water cut off at sink, turned valve open it leaked when turned on, cut back off. Stopper in sink did not work. Linen on bed stained holes in sheets, pillows stained and stunk. I loaded my stuff and checked out. Advised desk ckerk of problems response ill check it out.

If I could rate this place anything lower I would. It was very disgusting. To begin with the hotel clerk to the room. I choose this hotel due to being the closest after a wedding. And upon arrival the room was a mess. Beds had dirty sheets the room smelled nasty had a humid smell. And what really made me leave was the bed bugs. I asked for refund the hotel clerk was very rude.

Was only there for a matter of 40 minutes and dirty towel. By hot tub im room and dead doodle bug on floor in bathroom. And when moved chairs bu desk an German cockroaches ran out!!!!! Got my bags and left immediately!!!!!. But the staff would not give us any kind of refund. Tried to act like it was normal that the cockroaches come in from the street. Absolutely. Despicable, they should have gave us A refund we are honest people!! Room was a $130.
And I don't think they even gave us 30 bucks back. Maybe 33 not sure, but the whole refund should have been given back due to the cockroaches. I told the owner not to rent that room out again. Until pest control comes, he said we sprayed last week. Wont be Going there ever again!! The pictures on the app are most certainly deceiving because it is old and run down not new.

Checked in just after 8pm and got straight in a shower. When i got out i found roaches on my clean shirt laid on the bathroom counter as well as a dead one on the counter by the hairdryer (which was broken exposing the fan inside). Another roach was climbing on the toilet and another on the floor by the bed. Another crawled on me when i was sitting on the bed. Two different kinds of roaches everywhere once you turned down the lights and started looking. I finished the movie i was watching, gathered my belongings and went to the office to check out as i couldnt sleep there with the roaches. They asked if i just wanted another room but the chances that just the one room has a roach infestation are impossible and i didnt want to play room roulette looking for one i didnt notice roaches in. I returned my key and was charged $99 for my shower and movie with the roaches. Aside from the roaches the condition of the bedding is very poor stained and burn holes.

Mercy. Where do I start. First of all, if you have any preconceived notions or ideas “it can’t be that bad”… think again. Now if you’re a lover of the smell of cat piss (literally knock you off your feet), pubes on the floor / bed, blood on the walls, cockroaches, sheets that most definitely have not been washed, black mold covering the shower and pillows that were stuffed with balled up fists of Cotten balls…. THIS HOTEL is your Ritz. Not my families cup of tea however. That said, we spent around 7 minutes too long discovering all these treasures! It was late and even after my wife and I pondered “we can do it just ONE night”, ultimately the fear of contracting staph or something of the sort smacked us back to our senses. We lugged all our suitcases back down the oddly sized statues to our rental car and transferred to the Comfort Inn up the road (which in retrospect was absolutely delightful). Look, I get things get busy. I understand being overbooked, but this place was absolutely empty and a complete nightmare. If the apocalypse occurs and it’s the last resort, I would still question whether or not to shelter here. The fallout might be a better option.

Seriously GROSS!!! Roaches on the sink, by the microwave and on the BED!! Cigarette burns in the sheets and blanket even tho we had a non-smoking room. Floors were clearly not cleaned for new guests. And the mattress was disgusting and about 4in thick.
The lobby trash was not emptied from prior days and nats were swarming the trash cans in the free “breakfast” area. WOULD NEVER STAY WITH RED ROOF INN AGAIN!!

One night was more than enough!

Room had roaches. They were smaller roaches, so I would say a new hatch. The room was supposedly non-smoking but it smelled of cigarettes. The door to the room was warped so you could hear all the highway noise like there was no door at all. Just not a very nice place. Needs lots of cleaning.

They need some footing helpers in the bathtub. The tub was slippery as ice and has only a grab bar which did not help me when I slipped and fell in the tub but was helpful when I pulled myself back up. Thought I might have cracked a rib but it's feeling a bit better today so likely just some bruised muscle. But $2 worth of bathtub stick on anti slip pads would be a good item to bring with you. And the in room phone was totally non functional.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I will be uploading pictures on to Google review. I wish I could upload images here. The sheets are dirty, towels are used and filthy. There’s roaches. The sink have old toothpaste spots. I don’t think anyone cleans ever. It’s terrible. I asked for clean sheets at the front desk so I could sleep on the bed and the sheets had different peoples hair and stains all over. The only reason we didn’t leave was because it was already midnight and had no other place to go. But believe me, I will NEVER EVER stay here again.

The room was so dirty. There were dead bugs all over the floor. Hair was in the tub. Hair was on the side of the tub with dried vomit. Needless to say, we left. No cold water comes out of the sink. And it smelt horribly bad. Needless to say, we left. Didn't even unpack our bags. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund and was told that probably wouldn't happen. I asked for the manager to call me and that has yet to happen. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST SLEEPING THERE.

Very noisy location as it is on IH45. Kind of hard to get too and the road was a bit torned up. The other amenities around MCD, Shipley donuts, CVS and few other places were nice and convenient.

I didn’t like the bug roach infestation. The manager was very rude to me when I took to long to pull up my reservation when I rebooked a room. She told me nobody is waiting for me. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. They didn’t change the linens as I got the same room and the housekeeper is very old and does not disinfect or clean properly. I always would stay there it’s convenient but now it needs a visit from the health department. Roaches were attacking me soon as I sat down and I have pictures and videos.

Checked in at 3 pm- two rooms. Went to a wedding that we were in town for and when we got back at midnight they had given one of our rooms to someone else!
This place was roach infested ( the little dirty ones) and the next morning we saw them cleaning the room next to ours and didn’t change the bed linens at all, just made the bed with the same sheets.
