Very beautiful resort, sea and swimming pool. We loved the food and the short distance from the beach. The show were super good too especially the dancers!

We had the privilege of staying at VOI Floriana Resort with our two young children, a two-year-old and a four-month-old. Flying from San Diego to Italy for my cousin's wedding, we decided to extend our trip. The wedding was in Padova, but we chose the coastal VOI Floriana Resort in Simeri-Crichi, Calabria.

The resort was the perfect choice, beautifully located on a serene beach. The family-friendly atmosphere, with many other families vacationing, was exactly what we needed. The outdoor kids' play area had numerous activities, and the kids' club had amazing staff with all-day activities. The nursery was a great bonus, even cleaning and sanitizing my daughter's bottles.

The resort also has a kids' restaurant for children to dine separately, allowing parents to enjoy a date night. The kids' pool was perfect for hot days, and the private beach had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach was stunning, with clear water where you could see your feet and fish. Although sandy, the water had pebbles, so water shoes are a good idea.

We opted for the all-inclusive package, which was fantastic. The buffet-style restaurant served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of fresh and delicious options. Breakfast was consistent each morning, while lunch and dinner menus changed daily. Self-serve drink stations, including beer and wine, were very convenient. The staff was welcoming and friendly, enhancing our experience.

Staff were not always welcoming and service was more than often poor. Although all inclusive you could only get tea and coffee free at breakfast. Wine at meal times was warm and served in tumbler glasses. The drinks around the complex were served in paper cups, glasses were for those who paid for drinks. Drinks were all inclusive during the day but in the evening they were not free. The beach towels were 2 euros each time you changed them. Entertainment finished without warning. Shuttle bus to shopping centre is 10 euros return each person for a 5 minute journey. We were the only British in the complex which was not an issue but staff were certainly not the friendliest especially in the restaurant and bar areas. The friendliest most helpful staff were the cleaners.

A Compound

For those of you that want to be restricted like in prison on your vacation this is great for you!! We have family in southern Italy and did visiting on our trip. We wanted to invite our family to dinner and of course pay for it, the hotel refused. Our family members could Not even come to the hotel to pick us up,(we had to meet them at the gate, and I'm handicapped!). The rules for meals is very time sensitive so if you miss the breakfast that was included the other option was to pay $22 euros each of us for a horrible lunch! Our bathroom was so small because of a column right in the middle, you had to go in and wedge yourself to get the door closed to use the facilities. Also on top the staff was RUDE! Customer service at its worst!!!

Hotel and surrounding grounds are very picturesque

Overall. very good. Food was very good. Did not like the fact that we had to pay extra so as we could have the use of sun beds and umbrella's and 10 euro's for the use of wi-fi.
The i'm your summer boys and girls in the main were very helpful but as i said previously some of the boys are only there for themselves and always in your face.

Die Lage am Meer ist fantastisch. Der Pool ist schön gelegen das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Unser Zimmer war durchschnittlich, im Terrassen und Außenbereich überhaupt nicht schön. Das hatte so ein bisschen geschmälert. Mit dem Rest der Anlage war ich aber durchaus zufrieden. Sie könnten durchaus mehr Tennisschläger zur Verfügung haben, weil dann doch nicht jeder seinen eigenen Schläger mit in den Urlaub nimmt. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten in Summe ein guter Mittelklasse Club. Ich würde allerdings aufgrund der geographischen Lage und der langen Anreise nicht noch einmal hinfahren. Kalabrien ist jedoch eine wunderschöne Region.

Vale la pena se siete a max due ore di macchina

Villaggio per famiglie immerso nel verde davvero ben tenuto.
Le stanze davvero minimal, forse troppo; gradevole la doccia anche sul terrazzino privato.
Un plauso enorme va alla signora Gina che gestisce la nursery/biberoneria alla grande, cucinando piatti deliziosi a pranzo e cena per i piccoli. Grazie ancora, Gina perché fai il lavoro col cuore.

Il buffet per gli adulti invece offre tanta scelta, troppa e la qualità non segue, davvero un peccato. Avevamo letto che la qualità negli ultimi anni è andata giù...ed abbiamo pagato per te rendercene conto.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Schuhe zum Baden empfehlenswert da der Strand etwas steinig ist. Kleinere Mängel wurden sofort vom Personal behoben. Liegt etwas abgelegen, keine öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Wer die Ruhe in der schönen grünen Anlage oder am Meer sucht ist hier genau richtig. Zumindest zwischen 13-16:30 Uhr; dann ist die Musik aus ;)
Das Hotel bietet ein paar Mal pro Woche einen Transfer nach Catanzaro Lido/Markt und City an (10 Euro/pers), das hat immer super funktioniert!
Vielen Dank an das nette Personal für zwei schöne Wochen!

Zimmer war nett, viel Stauraum, neue Schraenke, bequemes Bett
Die extrem laute Beschallung , bis in unser Zimmer,des Unterhaltungsprogramms bis nachts um 23 Uhr, trug nicht zur Erholung bei
Das Fruehstuecksbufett war einfallslos, immer das selbe, viele Früchte, aber alle steinhart (Pfirsiche, Kiwis, Birnen), das sogenannte warme Büfett mit Eiern usw war nichtmal lauwarm, sondern kalt.Morgens war der Tisch gedeckt, aber es fehlte immer irgendwas, in einem resort erwarte ich, dass ich nicht selbst nach Besteck etc, suchen muss.Postiv war der schnelle service am Espressostand, der auch sehr lecker war
Strandbar mit self service, alles angenehm dort
Rezeption : 24 h geöffnet, kein freundlicher Gruss, nichtmal beim Abschied , gute Heim
fahrt oder ähnliches...
wir werden sicher wieder nach Kalabrien kommen, gut, dass eine grosse Auswahl an Hotels oder Unterkünften gibt

La pulizia di questo hotel è pessima, in barba al covid quando siamo entrati in stanza sull’armadio era pieno di manate delle persone che avevano soggiornato precedentemente, sotto al letto e al frigo non veniva spazzato mai. Dopo la nostra lamentela sono venuti a pulire la camera. Ma la cosa più grave è aver trovato un topo morto nella camera dove soggiornavo con i miei figli di 1 e 4 anni. L’unica cosa bella di questo Hotel è il personale, sono davvero gentili, educati e felici di aiutarti in tutto. Mi dispiace aver dovuto dare questa recensione perché la struttura ha un grande potenziale, che con un po di cura dei dettagli potrebbe dare davvero tanto.

Struttura tenuta in condizione splendida giardini curati, arredi nuovi sala ristorante confortevole, spiaggia grande con tanti lettini e ombrelloni, piscina pre adulti con area per bambini, pietanze buone, il tutto situato in modo raccolto (tutto era vicino.

Graziosa struttura a due passi dal mare

Struttura da noi già conosciuta. Abbiamo riscontrato miglioramenti come l’internet e altri piccoli dettagli.
È un po’ peggiorata la scelta del mangiare (una sera come proposta di secondi, per chi non mangia pesce, c’erano Hot Dog e hamburger), ma comunque vasta scelta di altro.
Molto apprezzato il riordino della spiaggia durante il pranzo.

Bellissima vacanza!!!

Albergo sul mare e piscina adiacente pulitissima;ottima cucina con vastissima varietà di cibi e pietanzeanche se a buffet per ogni gusto e sevizio ai tavoli validissimi ma soprattutto il caposala Vincenzo!!!!animazione bellissima ogni sera spettacoli coinvolgenti e divertenti servizio mini club valido e simpaticissimi.se dovessi trovare una piccola pecca le camere potrebbero essere migliorate...ma pulitissime

Non male, ma con diverse delusioni

E’ occorsa oltre un'ora di fila, per soli 4 clienti, per fare il ceck-in, con due impiegate presenti di cui una era stagista e non aveva i codici di accesso per verificare il pagamento!!! Quindi arrivati a lei è stato necessario rimettersi in fila. Allucinante. L’alloggio internamente era un pò irregolare per via dell’architettura a cubi sfalsati della struttura. Il bagno era piccolo e scomodo. Forse il bidet è stato aggiunto in una seconda fase, per cui la porta del bagno non si apriva completamente, sbatteva sul bidet e in più restava semi aperta dietro la schiena, mentre si usava il lavandino, in quanto priva di un blocco di posizione. La struttura in pietra di tufo restituiva di notte tutto il calore solare, obbligando all’accensione del climatizzatore che purtroppo aveva un getto insopportabile dopo un’oretta di uso. Quindi abbiamo dormito male quasi tutte le notti. Il wifi era solo nelle aree comuni, ma lì funzionava bene. Il ristorante era abbastanza buono, per quanto non al top. L’animazione serale invece era eccellente. Il mare era ottimo e pulito. La spiaggia era semipietrosa, non con sabbia, ma ampia e piacevole. In futuro, tuttavia, dubito di tornarci.

Si può migliorare

Abbiamo soggiornato con il mio ragazzo è in generale ci siamo trovati bene. La camera abbastanza ampia, il bagno pure, appena arrivati non al top nella pulizia ma dopo lo è sempre stato.
Il resort è molto bello e ben strutturato, la zona un po’ isolata ma se hai la macchina va bene.
Il cibo era buono, buonissima la colazione con molta scelta, buoni pranzo e cena con diverse opzioni fredde e calde.
Secondo me l’unica pecca è l’animazione. Cioè va bene per coppie adulte o se hai bambini ma per i giovani non è un granché. Nel complesso in nostro soggiorno è stato soddisfacente.

Nice for a day..not more

The beach ist nice and close to the Hotel.

Rooms are very smal and around the hotel is nothing. We were glad to have our own car.
Moreover only italian entertainment (all time long) and the food was horrible.

I was suprised cause all inclusive is there only on special items and at special times over the day. Unusual..

Gradevole vacanza sul Mar Jonio!!

Ho trascorso 10 giorni nel mese di giugno 2016 al VOI Floriana Resort e devo dire che sono stato pienamente soddisfatto.La posizione direttamente sul mare, i servizi a portata di mano
sono i punti di forza di questo bel villaggio.
Ho apprezzato in particolar modo il servizio di ristorazione.

Bella vacanza relax totale per l accesso diretto alla spiaggia. Buono il cibo. Buona l animazione. Per migliorare consiglierei più frutta di stagione. Ottimo l all inclusive con bevande analcoliche e alcoliche più acqua praticamente sempre disponibili dalle 10 alle 24.

Goede herinnering aan een mooi hotel

Heel goed hotel. Heel verzorgde kamers, en heel vriendelijk personeel. Kwaliteit van het eten was goed. Je kan kiezen buiten of binnen te eten. Binnen heb je wel airco, maar het geeft echt een refter gevoel. Wij hebben buiten gegeten, wat ons veel beter meeviel. De tuin wordt piekfijn onderhouden, heel mooi, groot zwembad en ideaal is ook dat je heel snel van het strand naar het zwembad kan. Je moet nooit een stoel reserveren (zoals in vele andere hotels), want er zijn er meer dan genoeg. Een heel uitgebreid animatie team (rond de 25 mensen). Heel veel activiteiten worden verzorgd. 's Avonds is er altijd een grote show in het amfitheater. Eigenlijk wel heel mooi gedaan. Elke keer goed voorbereid, en veel professioneler dan in andere hotels die we vroeger bezochten.
Enige minpuntje is dat de meeste mensen enkel italiaans spreken. Enkel aan de receptie en een enkeling in het animatie team was het engels machtig. Duits bleek minder een probleem.

O celodenní a večerní program se starají výborní a zábavní animátoři. Jen mají trošku problém s jiným jazykem než italštinou. Ale jinak super. V tomto hotelu se nudit nebudete.
