The Alhambra Palace Hotel is a beautiful property perched on the hill, making it an effortless walk to the Alhambra itself, a huge plus if that’s the reason for your visit. The hotel has a grand, atmospheric feel that perfectly complements the surroundings. The walk into town is a bit longer, but honestly it’s worth it for the location and the peaceful setting above the city. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Granada.

This is a superb hotel. The finishes are similar to La Alhambra.
Outside has a gorgeous park, you’ll get to walk a little in a gorgeous park to get to the iconic Alhambra.

Stunning views of the city. You’ll have Granada at your feet.

The bathroom was so small u could not shut the door. Food was so terrible the last night we were there we put it outside our room for pickup and was ill for the next 2 hrs.

I truly loved my stay at this wonderful hotel. Right next to AlHambra Palace which I specifically came to Granada to visit. Close to downtown Granada however be aware of the steep downhill and uphill walk.

Great view, spacious room, and bathroom. Good service.

While my wofe and i did not est breakfast she is celiac and cross contamination scares us. We did order room service the food was delicious and my wife has remained uncontaminated with gluten!!!! This is a huge deal for someone with celiac. The hitel smells amazing upon entry and its very warm and inviting. The staff are impeccable and multi lingual we speak primarily english and only a little spanish and were able to effectively communicate with every single staff member we came in contact with. The views of the city view rooms are incredible we got lucky and got to watch a thunderstorm roll in over the city. And you have the sierra nevada mountain range to take in from your window as well. The beds are comfortable and they have a pillow menu which is amazing for those with allergies. If you plan on going down to the plazas be prepared for a short hike up and down the small ornate city streets. Only took us about 12 minutes to walk down to the plaza nuevo took about 20 minutes to walk up as it is a little steep in some areas. If you are going to the alhambra for a tour or just to wander this is the place to stay its just a 9 minute walk from the front door. I truly love this hotel and if i ever come granada again i will be staying here and no where else. My expierence was exceptional. We had to leave very early on the morning of our check out this was before they had bellmen in. The front desk came up to help us with our bags. It was clear no is not in any staff members voca

I loved this hotel! You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to stay. The views were phenomenal including the sierra mountains. Staff was great and the rooms impeccable. The only only thing I disliked was the double beds pushed together and would have preferred down softer pillows. .

Overall good experience but I wish the staff was more diligent about handling valet. They didn't tell me that it takes 30 minutes to get the car back. In addition even when the car arrived they didn't tell us while we were waiting in the lobby. I had to go out and check for myself and found out that the car was already there. I then told the staff who then brought the key from inside which means they were aware of the car's arrival and we were sitting right in front of them.

Was a total splurge but so worth it. The room views of the city through the keyhole window were epic. The check in was elite and we felt so special. Great location to walk to the Alhambra. Only downside was the long, stepped walk back up each night but we knew that when we booked it and it wasn’t really that bad.

Overall a very nice hotel with a wonderful view from the restaurant and bar. The breakfast in particular was wonderful. The reason I won’t give it a 5 is that they refused the amenity of 20% off of food and drink. We were not told it only applied in the main restaurant. It is interesting that a 5 star hotel won’t honor a $15.00 credit off the food bought in the bar. On the Expedia website it says 20% off food and beverages. I hate when places don’t honor what they promise.

Excellent luxury hotel and unique experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated. It feels like you stepped in another era. Everything about the hotel was refined and luxurious in an understated way. The views from the outdoor restaurent are beautiful.

The service was impecable. It was formal, discreet, and highly attentive.

The food was very good. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and all were superb with a large variety of tasty dishes. The breakfast was exceptional.

A stay at this luxury old hotel is ideal for people who appreciate history, unique character, and classic, formal service. It is less about sleek, modern design and more about the romance of staying in a place with a rich and storied past.

Hotel is in close proximity to Alhambra, great view of town. Okay rooms/junior suites that may need some upgrade. Service average at best for a 5 star hotel, examples: check-in time 14:00h, we had to wait until 16:00h until room was ready (we had to ask for it); room cleaning was requested at 9:00h to be done by 13:00h, not done by 15:00h; at breakfast dirty plates were not removed, no one around to sign check, ckeck-out was very slow and unfriendly, etc.
It was our second stay at the hotel, this time we had booked three junior suites/rooms because of proximity to Alhambra, for our bext stay in Granada we certainly look for other options.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a stunning replica of the Alhambra Palace, and the rooms were beautiful. I especially loved the luxurious touch of Elie Saab shampoo, shower gel, and lotion — very fancy!

The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was excellent. It was my mom’s birthday during our stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a box of chocolates left in her room. However, it would have been even more special if there had been a note saying “Happy Birthday,” so she knew it was a gift from the Alhambra Hotel.

The location is right next to the Alhambra Palace, but it's a bit away from the downtown area where most of the activity happens. However, Uber is reasonably priced and has been our go-to for getting around.

Overall, a lovely experience, and we would gladly return!

The terrace restaurant at the hotel had delicious food! We also had our laundry done by the hotel and it was very quick and tidy (but also VERY expensive). We loved everything about the hotel, but the front desk staff were not very inviting or friendly.

Very helpful staff. Hotel is 5 mins walk from Alhambra palace which was a plus and there was a bus right outside that would take us to the central area which was great, Otherwise we would be trekking up hill for at least 20 mins on the return journey which we did on our first day.
Yes, the view from the patio restaurant is amazing. Highly recommend the hotel. Great selection of breakfast items.

Wow what a stunning historic hotel that exudes the grandeur and luxury. Absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, the staff was fantastic in making sure everything was perfect. We enjoyed a meal On the terrace and the foods and drinks were delicious. We also had our car valet parked. Everything is smooth and within 3min walking distance to the Alhambra ground, we strolled along the park and Taxi stop is right outside the door. A downhill strolled right into the center of town 15min A must and most lux in Granada

A lovely hotel in a perfect location, steps from the Alhambra and walking distance into the center of town. The casual dining terrace offered good food and amazing views of Granada. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some sprucing up but all in all, a wonderful stay.

We were so enamored by the Alhambra Palace Hotel! It's absolutely gorgeous from the lobby to the rooms. Service was great & the food in the restaurants (esp the breakfast) were great. We selected this hotel due to its proximity to the Alhambra - which is an easy walk to the entrance. The location is great for the Alhambra but a taxi/bus ride away from the center (which was fine for us). Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

Staff was eager to please even on the smallest items. Rooms were perfect in size, shower was amazing as was the comfort of the bed. Even though the hotel was fully booked it was not noisy. The dining patio had a nice view and the food was excellent. If you are an American the breakfast was lacking in that things that should be served hot like eggs or the
Potato quich was served barely room temperature.
