Our stay at Azka Hotel did not fully meet our expectations. The check-in process felt somewhat disorganized and could have been handled more smoothly.
That said, the hotel has a fantastic location, with beautiful views and convenient access to both the beach and the town, which is a definite highlight.
The room had a few issues – the door lock battery needed to be replaced, and the bathroom wallpaper was starting to come loose. Breakfast was acceptable, but could benefit from more variety. Parts of the hotel also appeared to be undergoing renovation during our stay.
Service was somewhat inconsistent; some staff seemed less attentive, and guest engagement could be improved.
Overall, the hotel has good potential, but there are several areas that would benefit from improvement to match expectations.

Very bad experience with person (Fuat).
My key card didn’t work,I went to lobby to exchange my key card. Fuat exchange key card but it didn’t work. I went again to lobby several time and finally he noticed that he didn’t understand which room I needed exchange key! Third time I asked him is he sure that is key for my room,I again told him room number,he noticed that he exchange key for another room,not mine. He even didn’t apologized for sending me back and forth. Extremely rude attitude has Fuat. This time was my third time in Azka hotel,but I’m completely sure that is going to be my last time there!Azka hotel management should think about people who are working for them,they represent all people who are working there! Be polite with guests,because guests bring money for your business!

Beautiful all inclusive resort situated on a large area & beach. The overall service is great, all inclusive food & drinks are excellent for the price you pay. We had sea view room and enjoying the amazing scenery. Daily & nightly shows add a color to your vacation. The beach is clean & the water is clear. Turkish bath & massage is amazing. The location, the beach, the water and especially the staff are truly excellent. The property is very clean. Downtown Bodrum is super close — just the shortest boat or taxi ride away. Excellent drinks at the bar. Nice waffles. On-demand espresso beverages. Lots going for Azka, one of the veteran establishments in Bodrum.

We have been going to Azka since before it was an all-inclusive hotel. It used to be great back then. The main issue now is the food.

With the all-inclusive setup, the quality of the food has plummeted. We struggled to find good food at the buffet, which is setup for three meals. Clearly, the management prioritized quantity and variety over quality. Some stuff was surprisingly bad. Like, how did they get flavorless tomatoes in the middle of summer? In Turkey? Omelettes were overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Breakfast meats were borderline inedible. They did an ok job with rice and stews, but do you want to eat rice and stewed meat during summer vacation? Bottom line: nothing that would give you food poisoning or anything, but basically nothing delicious.Also, there was a gratuitous use of coconut in deserts. Basic things, like pumpkin desert had coconut underneath.

My husband, 2 young kids and I were booked in for 5 nights at this hotel with an all inclusive package. From the moment we arrived I knew our stay was not going to be a positive one. The hotel looked deserted, the Reception área was dark and unlit. They booked us into our apartment across the road which was smelly and damp, with the balcony door broken so you could not lock it. We asked if we could move room to the main building which they kindly did. We got a two bedroom apartment with great sea views. The room is a bit dated but was clean and comfortable.

We then explored the resort which although pretty and with lots of potential was mostly closed. The hotel was so empty that most facilities were closed and all inclusive was not available. You could order what you wanted from a reduced a la Carte menu. This was not how it was sold to us. The beach on day 1 was not usable, with no towels or bar/restaurant open. There was no staff available. There is a lot of construction/renovation going on at the hotel which makes it impossible to sit outside.

Our first evening we ordered food from the a la carte, the food I must say was delicious. Everything we ordered including drinks were very good. The waiter that evening was really nice and although couldn’t speak much English was really pleasant.

The hotel was still pretty deserted and just felt uncomfortable.

The indoor pool was great with kids allowed in it which was a highlight.

The gym is ok, quite old equipment but ok,

I’m going to start with what we didn’t like about this hotel and that was Hotel management services.we missed our first night staying in this hotel (Azka,Bodrum) due to force majeure reasons all the airport closed and we had to find a other way to get there. we talked to Hotel guests services and then we tried to talk the hotel manager to get the credit for our first night that me missed and they denied our request even we reached Expedia and they talked to our hotel assistant manager still we didn’t get any credit from there so I’m giving this Hotel 3 out of 5.

Firstly, although we booked a deluxe sea view room, we arrived late at night and were shown to an apartment with the capacity to sleep 6 people in the annex (across a busy road and up 3 flights of stairs). We went back and complained but the reception staff have very limited English and we were asked to come back in the morning to speak to the manager. We had to argue that we wanted the room we had paid for and not the “upgraded” apartment which was basic and totally unsuitable. We had to stay there for 2 nights until they moved us to a new room. The new one was lovely (which is why I chose it) in the main building with a perfect sea view. The pool area in the hotel is very well maintained but the beach/grassy are is not. It’s grubby and the beach is a strip approx 25 feet wide and absolutely packed. The food is ok but very limited. It’s very much geared towards Turkish visitors, which is completely understandable but I wish I had known. All entertainment is in Turkish and the staff, like I said have very little English. Google translate is a godsend. I would class this hotel as 3 star. No idea where the 5 stars have come from. It does have a beautiful sea view and it’s beautiful to sit at night with a drink and watch the boats, etc. There’s a water taxi service around 100m away which costs 100 Turkish lire and takes around 10 mins into Bodrum. Well worth it as Bodrum is lovely.

They said this hotel is all inclusive but they charged us 2 glass bottles (70 TL) of water from our room. This is funny because there was a written note which all water was an offer from the hotel. It seems like they charge many things you use from the minibar. The beach is absolutely gorgeous though!

Phone in the room did. Not work. Property is huge so had to take 2 elevators to reach front desk. Stay there ever year. This time no breakfast omelets or toast. Female assistant manger told me those were western items and I was in Turkey. On the 3rd day the toast machine and omelets were back!!! When I arrived at 9:30pm I asked to change some dollars to lira for the cab. Told we don’t do that anymore by the assistant manager. The next day I asked again and the staff made a small change request.
It’s all about management. The kids working there couldn’t be more helpful. JH

To start things off my check-in was terrible. I payed for a room with a double bed and a single bed. They tried to put me in a room with just one bed. They didn’t have any other rooms available for the first night so I had to share a double bed the first night. Second night they were supposed to change rooms and it seemed like they didn’t even remember. The staff then proceeded to speak in a manner where I was inconveniencing them and that this was all my fault. They only had a room with 2 single beds and had to sleep there the rest of the stay. It didn’t seem like they cared at all. Secondly, we asked about places to go in Bodrum, places to watch euro games, especially the Turkey game, and they couldn’t care less to give suggestions or any sort of direction. The staff that worked at the restaurant and bars were amazing. Constantly asking if we needed anything, very polite, awesome service by them. The property itself is in a great location. I’m probably never going to go back here.

Thank you to all Azka team, specially to reception stuff Ulyana, Selay, Eran. Thanks to Ridvan, Ocan, Hosan, and all team of Azka. Hotel is very clean, room is sound proof, with good air conditioner, very comfortable and convenient. Buffet Breakfast and dinner has everything to keep guests satisfied. Especially I wanna say cok cok sagol for entertaining users with live music, best quality evenings every night with best singers. Although I don’t understand Turkish language, but wonderful live
Music touched my heart and made happy too. Plaj is very clean, water is quiet, I could snorkel, and watch fish. Water taxi is very close and goes to town 24/7. A la cart restoraunt is available for additional meals at plaj or other locations. All amenities are endless, and most importan a service, friendly environment, feels like a family in hotel. It’s mostly for local guests, but receptionists speak English and Russian, so visitors from any country will Love Azka. Hope everyone will enjoy their vacations in Azka. Highly recommend and I’m coming back to Azka with my family :)

Room service would take orders but not show up. Food was oily and not great options \"cheeseburgers and not much fresh options\". Our stay at Azka Hotel was pleasant. The service is good, the rooms are clean, towels are changed every day. It has its own lovely private beach with sun beds and umbrellas and the nearby beach bar with delicious snacks and drinks! Hotel is located close to the Bodrum Centre where you can easily get by taking boat taxi for 40TL pp or by regular taxi called by the securities at the hotel gate for 30TL. We were served good buffet breakfast and dinner daily! Entertainment wise there were few (not every night) evenings when hotels organized shows. It’s recommended for families and couples.

We upgraded to water view room which was next to the room with major constrcution and was impossible to spend time in room due to noise. We stayed 2 days where each day had a problem with door lock that was replaced twice. Staff is brand new without any idea where restaurant is… in addition, one of the worst breakfast ever where staff’s only focus is stopping and collecting everything they can as soon as clock hits 10 am. Such a beautiful cove but such a terribly managed hotel…

The only downside for this hotel is their WIFI connection which is very bad and it needs improving. If I would have had proper internet I would have extended my holiday at this hotel. All other facilities, service, food and staff were great. The hotel is placed in a very beautiful area with its own bay and private beach. Amazing place!

It is a decent family oriented hotel, the best about this property is the fact that it’s got a private beach with no music. The WiFi has major problems (they won’t acknowledge them) so be aware if you are WiFi dependent. The food is okay, the treatment is okay. They’ll try to push drinks on your tab so be aware of the things you order and pay as you go.... don’t put expenses on your “Hotel Room”

Azka hotel is a good choice, slightly outside of Bodrum marina (but easily walking distance or a short taxi ride), with a much better private beach than the marina.
Service generally good, breakfast and dinner buffet generally good (but slightly short of other similar hotels where I’ve stayed). Lunch snack selection very good, especially the salads.
So why 4/5 you may ask? A few cut corners, and slightly less appealing than some of the other places I’ve stayed ... but still a good choice

What an amazing hotel, amazing staff and amazing facilities. Aytac in particular was amazing and paid attention to my every need and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. I stayed in their Business Suite - had a nice Jacuzzi in my room - the cleaning lady was also very nice and paid attention to detail, she even tended to my clothes and every aspect of my room.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful location, room was excellent, restaurant was excellent, beach was excellent. The BEST thing about this hotel was that they did not play loud music on the beach and you could enjoy listening to the sea and peacefulness. The only couple of down sides were that the internet did not work while I was there, there was a constant steam of people going to reception with the same complaint and yet the receptionist (Semih) still took my phone and changed lots of the settings, also took it to a back office out of my sight and then insisted that the problem was with my phone and not their internet... he was lying, there was no problem with my phone, and probably no problem with all the other phones with the same error message as mine. Also I though it was very mean spirited in a 5 star hotel to only put water and tea/coffee in the room on the day of arrival, they do not top it up after that, they also have a notice to say that guests own food and drink will be confiscated from the room and kept behind reception until checkout, I witnessed one couple trying to get their drink back from reception when they were checking out but they were lost... I have never come across such a strange and non-guest-friendly procedure. I would probably go back to this hotel despite this unfriendly aspect to it because of its location and small beach in a lovely bay. It is a little expensive.

One of the best hotel in Bodrum. I had incredible 15 days in Azka, staff were so kind and helpful. Especially Ahmet, Okan and Ünal. Many thanks to them. Our room always clean, food was perfect, hotel always clean, every night we had a good time with live music. It’s close to downtown Bodrum. Only changing room on the beach is not enough. We need another one. This is only one negative thing I can say. I highly recommend Azka hotel..

The staff is enormously rude anx unprofessional for a fivd stars hotel, service is slow, reception agents are extremely slow and unexperienced, they charged me twice my room service bill and was late to the airport because of them, they havd zero language skills and didnt even care. I would only revomnend the location, but the service would be at youd own risk.

The receptionists were welcoming helpful.the rooms were new clean with a powerful shower and silent aircon. The chefs were outstanding along with all catering staff and housekeeping. My family’s flight was delayed hence missing the timing for evening meal. Chef Yusuf immediately rest me assured he would personally prepare 6 meals personally so they can have fresh food on arrival. Our boys wanted to play basket ball however couldn’t find the hotel ball. With one phone call Ibrahim not only found the ball but also supplied our rooms with tea and coffee supplies. Selin and Saadet were always asking how they can better our holiday experience with suggestions of concerts and shows available to hotel guests at no cost. The spa was fantastic especially recommended the turkish bath scrub and massage. The journey to the marina was especially memorable avoiding traffic and cabs, instead there is a little boat by Azka pier which takes you to the busy marina bars and restaurants in 7 minutes under the moon and stars. We had a fantastic holiday because of the the night bar staff the pool bar staff Ahmet Aziz, onur and all the catering staff. Thank you to our new Azka family. We recommend this hotel and most definitely will return. Well done to the the new management team and owners for taking time and keen interest in all their guests.

Location wise, it is a great resort. It has its own beach and little boat takes you to Bodrum Center every 15 minutes for 10 TL. Our room was large enough for 4 persons and got sea view. Breakfast and dinner were good. Staffs were friendly and efficient. But all over, the beach and sea water was amazing.

We stayed for 7 nights and we loved the private beach, spa (massages were amazing!), gym and the food - all very excellent. We only encountered 3 waiters of the hotel restaurant that made us feel uncomfortable at times for various reasons. We wanted to say something around day 4 but decided to eat outside the hotel for a couple days instead. Otherwise the whole experience was very nice and the hotel’s facilities were lovely.

Being sea front & great food & night entertainment were among the bests of hotel.
What I did not like was the fact that we had to pay for non alcoholic drinks like tea or coffee. I would have preferred pay extra per night vs being charged for tea every time I ask for one.

Amazing beach, good food - will visit again!

Very well organized hotel with great location close to city center. The best thing was the amazing beach which is one of the bests of Bodrum. Good food with variety and quality. Clean rooms with nice view. The only negative is the noisy night because of the live performances of the hotel and other nearby hotels, if you are looking for quiet nights. We will visit again next year.

For a 5 star hotel i was surprised by some of the hotel rules such as not been allowed to bring any food and beverages (including water - 5 times the price found outside) into the hotel. Also, no hot or cold drinks were provided during dinner time.

Nice hotel, more of a 4* I would say. Few very accommodating staff, Senol, Semih and Huseyin really gave u the best service, very attentive. Very poor wifi. Bed and pillows were not comfortable in room but nice suite, cleaned everyday, the perfect view. The times for breakfast & dinner is too short just 2 hours! So we were always rushing out of bed to get breakfast and couldn't plan much due to dinner times either! The hotel needs to add at least another hour to their eating times. Food wasn't great and needs to improved and have more variety. The first 5* hotel I've been to where they charged u for a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice after paying enough for half board! Not a good policy. Beach bar food was good. Very nice pool for swimming. Loved the taxi boat that takes u into Bodrum centre for a little cost of 10 TL. Live music and entertainment every night but very noisy and loud music from the other nearby hotels until late. The beach is just a stone throw away and had beach loungers provided with hotel towels and u can order food from the beach bar as there were hotel waiters accommodation your need. Very comfortable reception area with comfy sofas to relax if u wished. Not many hotel guests tipped the staff which I thought was poor on their behalf so please be kind and tip as I think these staff work hard in the heat to do their best to make our stay as pleasant and enjoyable one. The location was excellent but the hotel room conditions really bad had broken AC covers mold in the bathroom open wires hanging out was taking a shower with the water temperature was not consistent really small room the refrigerator was broken did complain about it nothing. Done

Worst hotel ever

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Expensive but low class service and hassle from male staff member who the GM had to put on leave until we left because of behaviour. The food was terrible! Bland, no variety and the same each night. Very expensive mini bar. 50TL for a small vodka and a coke 10TL. Expect to pay 15euro a day extra for sea view. Staff rude and not interested in helping. I would not recommend anything here to anyone.
