The resort itself is amazing. Staff is great too! But here comes the issues - extremely loud environment, unruly children running around(I have a 6 year old boy, but he has never been allowed to act like all other children), no adult supervision until early morning hours, security doesn’t do anything, parents don’t care! The parents drink until 3 am and shout, not talk in the common areas. The disco music is extremely loud, windows and walls are thin! And around 3 am when you think that you can get sleep the cleaning crew starts moving tables and the sound is horrible! Air conditioning is set to 23 C and you can’t adjust it lower. It’s monitored and managed by guest relations. Get a higher floor room not over pool to avoid the disturbance.
The food is so so. Don’t even waste your time with the A La Cart restaurants especially the Asian one - you will be waiting for something that has nothing to do with sushi or Mongolian beef, tasteless small portions. You are better off eating at the Sunset main buffet style restaurant. Variety is ok. The other good restaurant is the 24/7 one in the end of the resort Waterworld. Coffee shop and patisserie’s are good.
The beach is so so - has some rocks in the beginning and sand afterwards. Very small! The pool facilities are great - they get very crowded and people are keeping sun lounges from 8 am with their towels.
The best part of our trip was the spa center - amazing massage options and facials.
Old town Side is a must visit!

This hotel was okay, however if you are looking to be on the beach this hotel is not for you, the beach was far and needed a shuttle- the beach was also not kept up and has brown sand making the water appear dirty. I would not stay at this property again.

The hotel is very old. The photos on Expedia does not match what you’d expect in person. The front desk staff are incredibly rude and do not treat guests well. They act like they’re being bothered if you come up. In general this place must have been a great hotel 25 years ago but it’s not worth staying at. Save your money and go stay in a different city close to a Antalya . I tried calling Expedia twice to move me to a different location and a newer hotel.

The kids enjoyed the slides and the arcade a lot. The family room is very nice and spacious but the beds are not comfortable at all, there was thin blankets for covers so we kept asking for comforters that we didn’t get until the 3rd day. We had to ask for replenishing the cotton buds, water and coffee inside the room. The walls are so thin so you can hear cars on the streets while sleeping and the neighbors arguments as if they were with you. It’s not a beach front hotel, we took a shuttle bus to go to the beach very close by but that was not a problem. Very few of the staff speak english and the last day a member of the staff was very rude to us because we were a bit late to check out.

Crystal sunset was a lovely resort. The food was gorgeous. The buffet was so extensive that we found ourselves spoilt for choice. They have a Turkish day on Thursday and the traditional dishes on offer were mouth watering. Facilities were excellent. Had no trouble with anything. Relaxed and enjoyed to the max.

I would give 100 stars to the stuff- very polite and attentive employees.

Overall,it was a good vacation. Lots of people but the hotel is so huge so you won't be stuck in the crowd. Way to many kids- like a lot of kids. It is a great place for families & kids. Pool area is big clean and cool but you need to wake up earlier and get yourself a bed by the pool cause everybody does that. (you can leave your towel for example, so when you come back from the beach or breakfast you have a place. 90% of guests are Russians. Food was good. Lots of different restaurants. The only down-part is the beach since it has huge stones under the water but the hotel can't do nothing about it.
And if you are 4 and more people in one room- you won't get a good view from your balcony cause all the junior suites are facing the road.

Overall, good stay! I recommend!

Great hotel, lovely room, excellent food (choice and quality), nice pool (little cold), great slides, close to beach and shops.

Kids club was a great space/layout, but the guy running it was rude (including to kids) and disinterested (preferred to be on his phone) - would be a great facility with someone half decent.

Some of the waiting/cleaning staff were nice, but entertainment staff on the whole very poor and customer service from reception and certain other staff non-existent - e.g. my 5 year-old’s ice cream fell off his cone onto the floor and the girl refused to serve him another one (despite it being an all-inclusive hotel and him being in tears holding an empty ice cream cone...).

Worst staff I’ve ever seen or experienced while on holiday - however if you ignore / look past that, the hotel itself is fantastic.

Great resort and very child friendly

This is a newer hotel so the rooms are quite nice in comparison to other Turkish '5 star' hotels. Those who want sea view will probably be disappointed because of the hotels position. Pool views are great. The pools are great! A huge pool for all to use, there is also an adult pool which has sun loungers slightly submerged in water and a purpose built bar. The common pool does not have a swim up bar but there is one close by. The water park is pretty cool with slides to keep everyone entertained. Lastly the childrens pool includes a really good mini water park with slides etc and conveniently placed sun loungers. Food is above average but during the peak period the restaurant gets extremely busy so expect to join long queues to go around the buffet. What makes it worse is the small window of time (7pm to 9pm) which bottle necks everyone. There is a snack restaurant placed by the pool to fill the hole and get back to the pool! The private beach is nice and sandy and has a bar which also serves hot sandwiches. Although walking there will take maybe 7 mins, there is a shuttle bus every ten minutes. The hotel has a really good games room with arcade games, bowling and billiards. The entertainment usually includes dancing with some acrobatics lasting an hour followed by a mini disco lasting untill 1130pm. Hotel is conveniently located near Side town with a car free zone which is buzzing with peaple and loads of shops. Be sure to walk down to the amazing Apollo Temple.

Nice hotel, lovely staff - far too many guests.

We felt the hotel was far too busy, no sun beds available after 7.30am everyday . There were guests lying in sun beds in walkways. We travelled in a party of 3.
The buffet restaurant was a rabble.
The good points ,good food, lovely alacart restaurant. Nice staff and animation team and entertainment.
Good points way out the bad however I wouldn’t return or recommend at peak holiday times.

I do not recommend this hotel to any one.

I did not like this hotel for so many reasons. First, our reservation was for a family room with a sea view but they gave us family room without any view. I will attach a photo of the view that we got. Moreover, they gave us only one key card when I asked for more they said they do not have any more. I spoke to the front disk regarding these issues. Unfortunately, they respond in a bad way \"That is what we have\".

Overall, hotel looks amazing from outside. Room is so so. I paid extra to get a better room and when we arrived we were \"upgraded\" to a suite which I believe was to show that they went out of their way to accomodate and upgrade us. Staff waited for tip which they didn't get and then we overheard one of them speaking to a Russian regarding this. Staff look miserable. Kitchen staff were friendly. Management throughout entire complex on numerous occasions yelled at the young staff which made us feel horrible as most of them are there to save for an education or to support their families. Food was ordinary. Kitchen managment spoke to us in turkish even though he knew we spoke English. This was belittling and rude as we asked to take dessert to the Lobby with our coffee. Hallways are dark and hot/stuffy with no airconditioning. Overall, poor service. Poor lighting in the room, our bar fridge didn't work and we had two chairs, cups etc even though there were three of us. Would not come back definately!

Perfect for families with kids

This was our second stay at this hotel and we loved it.
Staffs are very polite and helpful specially TWO KERAMs and ALI from entertainment team.
Rooms are clean and bright.
There are lots of delicious food and fresh fruits throughout the day.
Lots of activities for kids and adults.
Pool is clean and our kids loved the water park and slides.
We had a very pleasant time over there and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We haven't had a good experience while checked in at night. They night shift staff weren't very responsive and they took more 2 hours to fix my room issue after couldn't fix it. The hotel staff can't speak in English. I also noticed that the room service was very poor.

We went in October which is the last couple of weeks of the season and it really did seem that the hotel or staff could not be bothered anymore. The entertainment and facilities were advertised as open until the end of October but when we got there NOTHING was on. The staff were really rude and unhelpful and after multiple complaints from other families they finally upped their game at the end and all of a sudden evening entertainment started and there seemed to be a better attitude and atmosphere.

The rooms were nice enough and the water chutes were amazing but the pool was so cold the kids didn’t want to swim (the sea was a lot warmer!).

We stayed for 2 weeks, 17 of us, had a good time , but dissapointed with the staff, not very accomadating, made it difficult to book restaurants. There were restaurants that weren't open and only to be able to book 3 for a 2 week visit is awful, we ate across the road at The Golden Fizz, lovely food and staff. the buffet was ok, but was put off by rude guests pushing in, and touching food, not using the tongs, I did mention this to a member of staff at the poolside buffet one lunch time, he couldn't care less. We sat inside some lunch times and got waited on, we ordered drinks and food but was hit and miss, some times we got food we hadn't ordered and sometimes no drinks!
All in all I wouldn't return to this hotel. Age range from 9-52 yrs, nothing to do in the evening, we had 2 X 20 years and 2 X 17 years, 16 years and 13 years 2 X 9 years in our group, plenty of music round the pool during the day but nothing at night apart from the disco, which was over 18 years.

Mayman Family Stay in Antalya

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was fine, but too much of the same everyday. A friend who recommended it to us from her previous stay joined us there again on Sunday 2nd July. She noted that by comparison, they downscaled on the food fron her orevuous stay and the feee minibar items were very limited to soft drinks and water. The venue is ideal for families with young children as it has good facilities. But overall good value for money.

It is overrated!

We stayed in room 1038 and it was really loud as one could hear people talking in the corridor and other people talking from the adjacent rooms. The food was the same over the week we stayed there. Fruits were not cleaned properly before serving. Rooms were loud and we could not sleep without using earplugs. One could hear other people talking in the adjacent rooms. The room was not cleaned on a daily basis and we had to call the reception in order to refill the fridge and to make the bed. Overall it was not like a 5 star hotel. I would not recommend it as 5 star hotel and I would certainly not go back to this hotel. The hotel is huge with a lot of guests but not enough outdoor space for so many guests.

Upon our late arrival to the hotel, at around 3am, the reception desk was very friendly and they even upgraded our room. This was a pleasure for my daughter and me. The view on the swimming pool and the water slides is really nice. The view to the city is really not attractive as the hotel is directly located at busy streets. Room amenities are good and the fridge was full of beverages and small snacks.
disappointed we were on the facilities of the kids club, where you almost need to pay for everything. The animation team was the poorest between all what I have seen in Antalya so far (after 6 visits to different hotel).
I was disappointed about the room cleanness.. not follow up, no managers to check.. please see attached photographs.

We traveled two families in August 2015 and enjoyed our staying.
The staff was very kind and helpful, the food was OK (not so tasty, but a lot of food, all the time, you never feel hungry...) the rooms are big enough, clean and comfortable and the swimming pools and slides are amazing.
every evening they have very nice live shows at the hotel and the kids loved it.

Just returned from the hotel this morning. The hotel is stunning and absolutely looks the part; its huge with many different parts/areas and the pool area is a delight, missing only a swim up pool bar!
The quality of food overall I would say was variable and more often than not lacked heat. The main restaurant was like a cattle market (more later), with many different dishes on offer, but I didn't notice a massive variation during the week. If you like chicken kebabs for lunch, you won't go too far wrong (and we do)! For children who are not very adventurous, they will live off burgers and chips and spaghetti bolognaise. The pizza's don't include a tomato/marinara base, so are rather bland.
A la carte - food quality was far better than the buffet fayre, let down massively by the service. The Mexican food was lovely, but I ended up serving our own drinks as there was not enough staff to wait the tables. We advised management, not to complain, but to advise it wasn't fair on the 2 guys coping with circa 20 tables. When we arrived in our room later, we had a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, which was unexpected but nice. The World Cuisine food similarly was delicious, however, when we arrived at dinner we were told we were too late at 8pm (opens 7-9pm)! Apparently we misunderstood the timings! The Manager accommodated after a formal complaint!
The main issue was the other guests; disgusting manners, etiquette and no concept of queueing. Doesn't exist for 80% of 'guests'!

Height of season, really busy and not enough staff. Food good but service not brilliant, running out of cutlery and hunting for butter ..., not five star. Reception staff not friendly, only one room key until after 4 visits to reception for another one. Al a carte booking system was rubbish. Housekeeping ok but forgotten towels, toilet roll, toiletries not restocked. The water park and entertainment were really good although cleanliness around adult pool not too good either.

We had a lovely time, just didn't feel it was 5 star as have been to better.

Hotel was amazing, good for families with kids

The staffs were very helpful, especially huseiyin he spoke English and other languages which made it easier to communicate, other staffs didn't understand English but was still ok. The hotel had amazing activities planned out everyday which made the whole experience worthwhile, water slides where excellent, entertainment for kids was really good, u could not get bored in this hotel, too many activity from morning till late night. I, my husband and my 6 year old daughter had the best time at this hotel, d beach was 5 minute away which u could get there by the hotels beach shuttle for free, loads of activities at the beach starting from parasailing to jet ski and many more. The weather was on point (Hot), but hotel had air conditioning in every area, and cold water bottles and drinks where provided every corner of the hotel, food selection was super cool, varieties of food selection. What more can I say about this hotel than I enjoyed my holiday in this hotel. Would recommend to families with kids, as ur kids would not be bored for a minute.

good set up, terrible staff, poor quality food

does not feel like 5 star hotel.
staff non courteous, sometimes rude, and almost all of them don't speak English. we struggled in the first few daysto understand the facilities and entertainment available. couldn't even find the list in English. went to reception and they didn't have one! They gave me a document in German, and asked me to make the best out of it!
Arrived at 1 am and no staff to help with luggage. had 4 large bags (family, with young children). I managed to get the luggage myself to the reception, then someone came to help after i checked in and asked for the help!! we then went to have some food from the restaurant, and the food was being cleared! my wife had to beg one of the staff to give her a piece of bread from what he is clearing, for the kids!
Next day i went to the drinks bar and asked for mint-lemon. i was given a cup with ice and lemon juice concentrate, which really burnt my throat. I started coughing, then the bartender laughed and added water and gave it back to me. I kept coughing for 5 minutes, then I went back and asked him to make another concentrate one and made him drink what he gave me!
You get a sense of resentment from the staff once you open your mouth and English comes out! the hotel seems to be more for Germans and Russians. Staff count the tip in front of you, as if they are checking if you gave the the right amount, then great you accordingly.
Charged 70 euros for late check out, although I arrived at 1am for the first night

Good hotel, not for vegetarians

We, overall, enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However the majority of staff did not speak English. It was difficult to communicate with the staff. Whenever we asked for things from reception, they did not understand and took a long time to respond. On the other hand, the entertainment was good and the aquapark was also very good. For an all-inclusive hotel, we expected more of the facilities to be free such as tennis and the games room. For a 5 star hotel, we were appalled by the lack of vegetarian options at the a la a carte restaurant. We went one night to a Chinese a la carte restaurant and were given Italian food as they didn't have any vegetarian options. Eventually, we were told there would be none available in the a la a carte and we noticed most of the vegetarian options in the main restaurant were the same everyday. For the main restaurant, it would help in future to label vegetarian foods. But, It was nice to have a beach close by and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, when we arrived home I realised that a ring my husband had bought from the hotel broke within a few hours of purchase. I advice you to go this hotel, but if you are vegetarian I would avoid it.

Over rated resort, average rooms, poor A/C, during the summer the rooms are very hot,they give you only one key per room which very inconvenient - I was out and my wife had to wait for one hour for someone to open the room for her. food is available in large quantities but has no tast, staff are not friendly and do not speak English .
Water park has limited hours.
Night shows are below average
I was lucky I get my reservation thought Hotels.com otherwise the pay per night is extremely expensive for the level and quality of the services.
I have been to Dubai water park -Atlantis - which is much superior facility and much nicer hotel .
I was in the 5th floor getting the elevator was a family mission \" limited number of elevators \"
I rally do not recommend this hotel.
One last thing I was asked to pay for a bottle of wine although I do not drink alcohol at all and it took 45min to figure out it was a mistake !!

Nice hotel staff not the best

Hotel was clean food was average it was very busy but it was July staff struggled to keep up and service was very poor reception staff probably the worst I have known it's a chain hotel and it does really show many hotels in this area I probably wouldn't go back to this one

Excellent hotel

Nice hotel with good facilities and good service. The ala carte restaurants were very good and ample choice of food. Lots of slides for children and adults to enjoy!!

Great Hotel if not English !

The staff are very nice but don't speak very much English. All activities are aimed at German holiday makers so we felt left out. Kids didn't bother joining in any activities as it was hard work to converse. The last two holidays have gone to a holiday village and there is no comparison if you are a family looking to be entertained. However booked this due to the price and you do get what you pay for... Rooms were great and can't fault the location or food it was just activities which were not aimed at English. Did receive a couple of letters under the door never found out what they said as they were written in FOUR different languages none being English !

4 star facility with a nice location and tram transportation to the beach every 10 minutes. The staff hardly spoke English and service was below average. A, LA Cart restaurant can be reserved 1 day before.

The hotel is not big enough, it is far from the sea, you loose your time, the staff were not friendly and mostly want to flirt instead of beeing cool. The food wasnt good at all, the room was cleen but the plates in restaurants were very dirty. Waterpark was perfect, pool was awsome, hotel was full of babeis and children under 13, even they had a adult inly pool and place to sit in restaurant, I dont know if it was cheap for families with babies or what, but beleive me you cant relax in this hotel, every where there is a child screaming or crying. The room was kind of that you could not relax or sleep, because you can hear every thing from the room next to you, during the night and morning we couldnt sleep at all, room next to us were shouting and a baby crying and playing and all their noise was in our room, never had this experience in a 5 star hotel, we were out of soap for 1 day, I called house keeping and reception 100 times but nothing happemed until the next day I myself went to a house keeper and got it!!! I compere it to kremlin palace and rixose premium hotel that I have been before, and it is very poor and bad, it was like a 3 star hotel. Restaurants were not clean and staff of the hotel do not know english at all even at reception, so I dont recommond this hotel

Nice hotel, nice location

The hotel it self is beautiful and has excellent facilities...the only negative side is that the staff are not good dealing with English speaking customers. Most of them hardly understand English or speak good English, only basic words....most of them speak russain and Turkish, cause most customers are Russian or Germans.

excellent resort

stayed only one night while touring antalya and side. super 5 star. while not on the beach it has a hotel tram or walk 220m to hotel beach. walk along the board walk to the ruins.fantastic buffet. We didn't get a chance to try the specialty restaurants.will stay here again.

Excellent hotel , friendly staff, great cuisine , well maintained Aqua park.
I cannot find a flaw but there is room for improvement If the hotel staff are taught basic English then would be much easier to the English speaking people staying there.

Oda temiz değildi bebek yatağı ise yere sıfır bir park yataktı ve bebeğimizin ayı ile uyumlu değildi beşik yok dediler. Odaki mini bar yetersizdi hep aynı yemekler vardı öğlen kahvaltı iyi pastanesi vasat akşam yemeği orta diyebiliriz. Havuz yeterli.Animasyon zayıf otopark yok...Fena değil genel itibariyle temizlik çok sıkıntılı.. Her yerde oda koridorlar kötü kokuyor. Bir daha gelir miyiz. Hayır! Elendi! Ortalamanın altında

Our 10 day stay started with the receptionist getting upset that we didn’t book our stay through an agent and the fact we didn’t have a voucher. Not a nice welcome, and we have never had an experience like this in any previous bookings at other hotels. The room was ok, but had to little storage for the 3 people the room was made for. Since we were only 2 it was ok. The beds are way harder than European standard and needed a topper badly. The rooms got cleaned every day, which was good, but there was sand everywhere because the balcony was not cleaned, and we had to ask for toilet paper twice. All this is minor irritation, but the saddest part for us was the food. We tried two ala carte restaurants, and there were very few options. The main restaurants had a lot of options, but most dishes was local diskes or arabic dishes, and the spices was not to our taste. Our only options was salads, pasta or fried food. This was very disappointing as we had a great food experience at another resort near by last year. As for the beach it is ok that we needed to take a shuttle bus (free) or walk 5 minutes, but the beach was not so nice. There are sharp rocks in the water, so both of us got cuts on our hands, legs and feet while swimming. There are also fish or shellfish that bites where you have cuts (not the fault of the hotel). So, my conclusion is; if you are from Skandinavia, not a huge fan of local dishes or swimming pools you should select a different hotel.

Kurz gefasst
-Essen konnte man nichts ohne Durchfall zu bekommen bis auf Nudeln und Pommes
-mussten das Hotel für 3 Tage wechseln weil um 15 Uhr eine Stunde nach Check in das Hotel ausgebucht war (uns wurde ein Zimmer angeboten 1001 welches weder sauber gemacht wurde und im Bad hat es sehr stark gestunken und geschimmelt
-Personal an der Rezeption unfreundlich
-Sare an der Lobby Bar war die netteste im Hotel mit den putzkräften auf den Gängen und den servicekräften beim Essen zusammen
-Strand etwas weiter weg aber ein Shuttle fährt alle 15 Minuten
-vom Pool habe ich jedesmal Ausschlag am Oberkörper bekommen (ich habe keine Chlor Allergie oder sonstiges)
-beim Essen kann man nur drin sitzen außer man isst zum Mittag nur die Snacks von der Poolbar da kann man auch draußen sitzen
-am Pool wurden wir jeden Tag nach spa und Friseur gefragt
-parkprobleme man kann mit seinem Auto in der Nähe des Hotels kaum parken

FAZIT ich würde das Hotel niemals wieder buchen oder weiter empfehlen da es ehr ein 3-4 Sterne Hotel ist und z.b. das crystal Waterworld Hotel dem entgegen eine 10-10 ist bis auf das es in Belek ist und man auf ein Mietwagen angewiesen ist wenn man mal weiter weg will ansonsten ist da essen,Personal,direkte strandlage und die Sauberkeit einfach perfekt gewesen

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Crystal Sunset Luxury Resort & Spa. Ich hatte durch die negativen Bewertungen echt Angst, dass wir ein Horror Hotel erwischt haben. Die Anlage ist groß, gepflegt und bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Erholung. Besonders die Poollandschaft und der Strand haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, auch wenn die Einrichtung nicht mehr die neueste ist. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt sind die zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe! Perfekt, wenn man mal spontan etwas braucht.

Das Essen war abwechslungsreich, frisch und lecker. Es gibt wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas. Auch die Familienfreundlichkeit hat uns überzeugt: Mit Kindern fühlt man sich hier willkommen, und das Personal war überwiegend freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ich hatte bereits im Juli eine E-Mail wegen eines Late Check-outs geschickt, auf die leider nie geantwortet wurde. Vor Ort haben wir dann mehrfach nachgefragt, wurden jedoch nur vertröstet und am Ende wurde es uns trotz eines drei Monate alten Babys nicht ermöglicht. Das war wirklich schade und hätte unseren Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer gemacht.

Trotzdem hatten wir insgesamt einen erholsamen Urlaub und würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen. :-) mit der Hoffnung, dass der Service rund um die Kommunikation und Organisation noch verbessert wird.

Unser Aufenthalt im Crystal Sunset Luxury Resort & Spa war rundum gelungen! Besonders begeistert war ich vom leckeren Essen – es gab eine große Auswahl, die Qualität war top und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Auch das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt.

Ein weiteres Highlight waren die Animationen, die für viel Unterhaltung gesorgt haben, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen war reichlich Auswahl da. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Das einzige was ich bemängeln würde ist der Zustand des Hotels insgesamt. Renovierungsbedürftig.
Sauberkeit könnte besser sein.
Ansonsten alles super
