The hotel is very well positioned near shopping areas, a lot of amazing food options available. Also, the walkway near the Canal is fantastic. The area is extremely safe. I must have walked past midnight in the vicinity of the hotel, still bustling.

Its ok place you get what you pay for.

I should’ve known few things before I booked this place and thats on me:

1- its not smoke free hotel. I couldn’t sleep in the morning bcz the smell was so strong
2- it’s located in a very populated area. Heavy traffic. Not convenient to get to.

The manager couldn't help me, I was there at 10 am and I was asking for early check in for extra but they didn't do anything . And also the room's toilet wasn't working, that was terrible because I was feeling the bad smell from toilet. I had a worst experience with your hotel

The hotel is located in a crowded area, making it difficult to reach the hotel. The rooms are clean, but the reception hall is uncomfortable and the reception staff are not cooperative with tourists. I do not advise any tourist to stay there.

There studio is NOT a studio. It’s a basic hotel room with no oven, no microwave, and a mini fridge. It’s false advertising. The staff is rude and the rooms smell horrible. Stay anywhere else.

Nice and comfortable place to stay in Sharjah.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Value for money. The hotel is located opposite to corniche. The area as such is a bit crowded. Valet parking is available. All staff, very friendly and cooperative. Special mention to Mr. Bilal and front desk Manager for their support and helping nature.

The property was not clean. My room had cobwebs on the walls and in the corner of the walls. The floor was not cleaned properly and the bathroom had a sewer smell coming from it at times. The bedding wasn’t changed not once while I was there for nine days. Towels wasn’t replaced that was dirty. I wouldn’t come back to this particular hotel in the future

Very nice hotel with nice and helpful staff. The area is very nice with good amenities nearby. The 24hr supermarket (Carrefour) opposite the hotel is very handy.

The gym is small and the pool isn’t outdoor but both are fine.

Some of the staff were quite helpful and the location of the hotel was central which was what we wanted. However, when we first arrived we seemingly were not expected.
After booking this hotel we received a message thanking us. On their website we were asked to let them know if we were due to arrive after midnight. We did this and received no acknowledgement so we messaged a second time and still no acknowledgement!
Our safe was broken, we had no adapter plug for the kettle, a light was on the inside of the wardrobe constantly and there was no way of switching this off.
Admittedly when we informed staff about the safe and the kettle, these issues were dealt with immediately.

Good location and very near laffah (excellent fried chicken place) and lulu ( grocery store) and same building as carrefour (grocery place). Staff members generally friendly. My only complaint is when I was checking out I was told to sit and wait while they checked the room. I sat there right in front of the female receptionist. After awhile the bell boy came and asked me if I was checking in or out. I told him I was waiting for release and he went to check with the female receptionist. She just waved at him to ask me to leave I guess because he conveyed that to me. She didn’t even acknowledge or look at me all the time she asked me to wait. I think that was really rude. Besides her with bad service and attitude the other staff were very friendly.

In the morning there was leakage from the wash room and was flooded with water. Drain was also blocked . Informed Hotel management staff . Could not resolve issue for more than a hour. Asked the house keeping person who was in the corridor to clean as it an emergency and needed to use wash room. The house keeping person ( Patel ) informed that I will come when I have cleaned the room which i am assigned. I had to take the towels and cleaned the wash room. The manager was informed he casually said that he will take and never came back. The manager did lip services. We stayed for four night and no one came to provide any type of compensation for the inconveyence caused. The client canceled my meeting due to being late which resulted in a financial loss to me

Please take up with the management to provide compensation for the poor customer service and leakage from wash room. Above all a very cold attitude from the staff and management

While check in front desk has taken a lot time to verify or to cross check since we were having hotel confirmation in well advance.

PROS: The location was excellent.
We had booked the suite with a kitchenette and a king-sized studio. The Buhaira Corniche is a very vibrant and family-friendly place. We would walk along the corniche at night. The kettle opposite the hotel serves excellent Doodh Patti (Milk Tea). There is also an excellent Shawarma place right around the corner called Laffa. Great chicken shawarmas.

CONS: Only 3 devices can be connected to the wifi provided per room.
An iron and ironing board are available via request.
It is sometimes difficult to find. The best landmarks for your driver are \"Buhaira Corniche, Al Fardan Center, Golden Tulip\".

The location is fantastic with a super market downstairs and another nearby. The room is small but decent as long as you don’t have much luggage. The cleaning staff was nice. I generally have good things to say except I didn’t like the call at 11.50am to ask me when I was checking out. I was already on my way out do calling slowed my checking process. Also, I felt like I was bring chase out. I understand that they might want to remind guests to check out at noon or even better to offer possible In any case, this was my fourth hotel on this trip to try out location n amenities. While I like the location, I am less impressed by the receptionists. Not that they are bad but I felt they were doing a job and were less welcoming than the others on the same stripe.

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location is perfect for any type of stay. There is a grocery store, laundry service, both men women's saloon, great eating and coffe spots just u see the hotel. There is also a canal walk and a carnival type area with in walking distance. The hotel was very clean and had amazing employees. I seriously have zero complaints. If I absolutely had to make a suggestion; it would be that hotel breakfast (which was included in our booking package) have more variety. The food, taste wise, was about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. They basically serve the same thing everyday so after 3-4 days I just couldn't eat it any more. It was clean and fresh but just boring.

Parking was to slow. Valet parking took 15 minutes to get me my car and next day 7 minutes. They need to be efficient. Over all, it was nice one night stop there and breakfast was great. No hot air from the AC

Good hotel but no free wi fi, breakfast not included, parking is hard to find. We tried to park in front of the hotel where the Logo was but it turned out it was not for the hotel. Went aound the front and the entrance was blocked by taxis and other private cars. Front desk personnel not so efficient.Will not recommend.

My overall review for my stay in Golden Tulip Shar

I stayed for 3 nights,I stayed before at this hotel
-Disadvantages:
1- Receptionist promised free in room Wifi, later asked for charges and after small fight gave for free.
2- Wifi so slow but solved next day.
3- Asked for charges for the complementary water bottles when asked for more in 3rd night.
4- requests for iron and bell boy to handle luggage were satisfied too late.
5- room needed more ventilation.Windows are locked.
6- Untrained staff..they asked my guest and me in reception to pay the bill for beverages in the lobby area several times.
7- Before lobby wifi usage was free but now chargeable.
8- Overall my last stay was better
Advantages:
1- Close to all services,shoppings and recreational sites.
2- Nice and clean room.
3- Quite rooms, no smoke smells and no discos music.
4- Nice reception area.
5- If staff know you,good service.
6- Nice GYM room.
7- They solved hot water shower problem from last time and listened to my suggestion.
