Checkin was a very slow, long, drawn out process. There were two agents at the front desk and one of them was busy attending to someone else. The other person just stood there looking bored but never called me forward. When I was finally served, it took forever to allocate a room.

Furthermore, breakfast at this property is absolutely atrocious. When I stayed here 6 months ago, I left a review that it was one of the best breakfasts in any hotel ever. In the last 6 months, breakfast has dropped off a cliff. A few raw vegetables, soggy old mushy tomatoes which fall apart, highly processed meat and a few things I would not serve to an animal. Cold croissants were available but not a single piece of butter or jam was locatable anywhere.

Breakfast was absolutely horrendous.

We stayed in the superior room on the 10th floor. It was nice, however the maintenance manager had told us that that floor had only been recently opened, so the refurbishments where still going on. On night, around 11pm, they were still banging and then hoovering! It didn't go on for too long, but at the same time, wasn't expected, this only happened once, so it wasn't too bad.
The staff are nice and very welcoming. The restaurant food was very nice.

The hotel is absolutely lovely and the rooms are just beautiful. The surrounding area is safe and there is plenty to do. I also enjoyed using the pool. Service from staff was excellent. The beds were a little too firm for my liking. Everything at breakfast this time seemed to be incredibly salty even roast potatoes, labneh & lentil dahl. I would probably stay here again...

LOVELY HOTEL... HORRIFIC SERVICE!

The hotel is lovely and in a good location. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Upon check-in for a 3-day stay, being a Gold Member, I was told I could have a room upgrade but I would have to spend one night in the room I booked and upgrade the next day. That was no problem with me whatsoever. The next morning, I went to reception at 11:45am and they told me my upgraded room would be available \"very soon\". They told me they would call my room to advise when I could switch rooms. I ended up calling them several times and I finally got a response after MORE THAN FOUR HOURS!!!! That was completely unacceptable. I wasted 4 hours sitting in my room waiting for the phone to ring. They gave me complimentary breakfast for the following morning which was very nice. The next morning, I was too tired to go to breakfast. I rang reception at 9:30am and asked if I could transfer breakfast to the following day. I said they would call my within a couple of minutes. They called me after TWO AND A HALF HOURS! What a letdown. Such a lovely hotel yet the service was absolutely horrific. Proceed with caution!

During my recent stay, I experienced multiple bug bites and, upon checking out, discovered a large bed bug on the bed. I immediately went to the front desk and showed them a video of the bug as evidence. I was informed that no manager was available at the time but was reassured several times that someone would follow up with me within two days. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week and a half, and I have yet to receive any response.

Not fit for a 4 star hotel.

Wonderful and very friendly staff, however the property needs serious renovation.
Rooms are unbearably smelly, and mouldy, rooms and the hotel in general is not comfortable as the AC is not coping with the outside temperature, the food in the restaurant is quite disappointing, the bakery and the salad is not fresh, with very limited variety, the wifi in the rooms is extremely slow.

The room is extra clean. The staff is friendly. But:
1-Toilette seat cover was replaced by a smaller one awkward to use. 2-almost every day they forget to put coffee& tea bags and never had a spoon to stir the coffee. I had one small little cup, not saucer. 3-Safe Deposit box is hard to closed and open. Need adjustment. 4-Vanity mirror in bathroom handle is broken. 5-no water stoppers(plug) in both the washing basin and the bathtub. 6- the reception declined my request to have a room facing the street and water body; but gave me a room facing a wall; and the window was extremely dirty. 7-bathroom waste pin cover opener (by foot) is broken. 8-the staff are friendly.

Relaxing and calming stay

It was a very calming and relaxing stay. The Ethiopian bellboy was so kind and made sure I have all amenities and got me brush and slipper without asking. The lady at the reception was new and I couldn’t understand few things she said so he helped simplify it and that’s exactly excellent.

The room was big and spacious. I really enjoyed it and next time I will go for sea view.

When I was leaving the manager in charge Mr Abdul Karin Wheib made sure I had a good stay and asked my feedback. That was good and shows the hotel is eager to take customers feedback and improve where everyone you can.

Overall I enjoyed the stay and I am definitely coming again.

Really bad property. We had booked 2 rooms with 2 beds in each. Arrived to property they said that the rooms we booked were not available. They said that they would change are rooms the next day. The next day they said they were still not available. They didn’t even offer to bring in roll in beds until we asked and they caused a huge screen about it. Rooms were missing towels. They did not clean the rooms the next day. Wouldn’t recommend. There is a sitting area in the hotel lobby but you can’t sit there after a certain time. Which leaves you no where to sit if you want to have a sitting area. Parking is an issue the gate doesn’t open automatically. You have to sit there and wait for security to come and open the gate manually. You should expect a 5-10 mins wait and honk numerous times.

Very bad experience, due to smoking floor room. Very exhausting and management didn’t change my room. They are out of rooms and they gave me smoking floor room.
In wash room there is only one bath soap, no toiletries properly. Bath tub leaking and all complimentary items are rain outs.
Didn’t change the bed sheets in two nights stay.
Never recommend to my friends or family.
Only one thing appreciated is breakfast. Only one person taking care of all the guests in breakfast lounge.

A great short stay whilst visiting Dubai/Sharjah. The Corniche/local area is great and peaceful. Not too hectic like Dubai.

Good value in the area. The only thing I didn’t like about it is the distance from my friends’ places. Actually the walk is fine but the heat in late July early August is a little too much. But this has nothing to do with the hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. Many places around for food, even a Thai restaurant within walking distance. Depending what your plans are, it is worth considering.
