Resort was exactly as described and we were pleased with our choice. The staff with very helpful and friendly and it was a great exoperience. Unfortunately on the down side there was building work next to the resort, so sitting in our villa or on the Beach was quite noisy. Also on the main Island there was a facility that produced a lot of smoke 24/7 and on some occasions the wind blew it onto the island and resort.

Perfect place for an idyllic getaway

Amazing location and an extremely helpful staff - especially Prakash and Shubham. They went out of their way to arrange a wonderful experience for our wedding anniversary. Wish we could have stayed longer. The expansive villa allotted to us had amazing views of the ocean. We had a great time here that will be forever etched in our memories!

Great place for families or couples

We had a wonderful stay here. The snorkelling was outstanding, like swimming in a fish tank. We were in a two room suite which had loads of space for our family of 4 and a great balcony where we could sit out. The two pools were a welcome place to relax. The catering was good. We have perhaps had better but it is difficult to say what they could have done in practical terms to improve it. The staff are quite simply excellent.

A Memorable Stay

The room and service is fantastic. The food is average, the internet connection is very limited. The hotel is located in a remote island with a little nice beach, two swimming pool, amazing ocean view for whatever the place you are at on the island. The hotel only have 24 very private house located in the heart of forest , from the window the green and and ocean are all over your face. The room is very large, the washroom is even bigger, with double sided jacuzzi, outside shower, it is so comfortable and relaxing. The stuff is supper friendly, they also go above and beyond to arrange your itinerary for you. The front desk stuff is supper nice, particularly the young handsome east India fellow, he is very resourceful and helpful. Compared with the nice room and service, the food is just about average, and the internet connection is not that great. All and all, I really enjoyed my stay here, I wish I could spent more time...

Feels like your own private island

The best thing about this hotel is the staff and I mean all of them, from the room cleaners, the waitresses, even the chef, to the management. Always a smile, polite and friendly, giving you space when you want it but there when you need them. They really do take great care of you from airport transfer to small touches like extra beach towels.
The resort is quiet, only 24 chalets, secluded positioning, jungly with amazing birds and bats flying ahead. The rooms are very spacious, colonial and have the biggest bathrooms I have ever seen in any hotel with an amazing outdoor shower. No shops here etc but a 10 minute or so trip across-using the boat provided by the hotel- to Eden island provides you with a modern shopping mall with restaurants galore, and a gateway to explore the main island and the bonus is the short trip to the airport. The hotel restaurant provides a fresh breakfast, great coffee and although the evening menu is limited it was always varied and I looked forward to the chef's puddings, which were delightfully unusual. All the dishes were beautifully presented, always fresh and tasty. The homemade salted cassava crisps at the bar were a personal favourite.
With 2 pools and 2 beaches, there are no crowds. Great snorkelling direct from the beach. Also a short trip to the St Anne island nature reserve that makes up this archipelago.
This is a place that you can stretch, your mind and limbs..

Beautiful resort for great value

We really enjoyed our suit and this hotel facilities. The pools, kayak boats, and beaches are all really nice. The food is good too, some of the items are just average, but are all acceptable. The service at the hotel needs most amount of work, there are couple staff that are super helpful and friendly but most of them seemed really unhappy working there and their answer to you is always no without any effort otherwise. It's also missing a spa and a workout room and internet is only at the reception. This hotel is a great value and I enjoyed it with no regrets but it's just missing a few key items to take it to the next level. It's an all around solid 4 star resort.

Beautiful, Relaxing hotel

We went to Cerf to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and were not dissappointed, It was beautiful. We were personally greeted by the Managers and from this moment forth the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, with the best bathroom I've ever seen. The food was delicious and we really appreciated being able to choose from an a la carte menu. The setting is lovely. We kayaked to private beaches / other islands.. All in all, an amazing trip!

Wonderful place.....just beware hidden extras

Great resort. Lovely room, restaurant and beach. Such a shame its not clearly evident at the time you book that they will charge you 25 Euros a person for a 5 minute boat transfer. OK 50 Euros isn't much when compared to the cost of the hotel, but that's hardly the point. Hotels.com should make this clear before you book!

Unbelievably Great Facility, Bungalow and Service

We spent a week at Cerf celebrating our second honeymoon in August, 2013. The service was consistently outstanding - day in and day out which is hard for any resort with a large staff to pull off. Kudos to the entire management team and staff for doing such a great job. We didn't have a single complaint. We have nothing but great things to say about our stay and will heartily recommend Cerf Island to our friends.

The pre-arranged transportation from the airport to Cerf Island went off without a hitch. That and our warm welcome at check-in made a great first impression as did our bungalow when we first walked in the door. We loved the feeling of living up in the trees and found the first class outdoor bath/shower to be truly special. Our first day, we took the hotel boat to Mahe, the main island, for a quick tour and to stock up on food/drink supplies for the room. We spent the remainder of the week at Cerf with large breakfasts and dinners each day - no need for lunch.

On a typical day, we would have an early breakfast at 7:30 and then make use of the free internet at the outdoor hotel lobby. By 9 AM, we were usually out on the water in a kayak or paddle boat for trips to neighboring islands and coral reefs for some incredible snorkeling and private beaches. Boats, snorkeling equipment and towels were provided by the resort. In the afternoons we would take it easy and after dinner, we enjoyed mingling with other international guests in the lobby.

Disappointing last night of honeymoon

The Hideaway villa was very clean & private. Le Cerf island is a 10 minute boat ride from Mahe and thus close to the international airport. The jetted spa tub was one of the main reasons why I decided to have the last night of our honeymoon at Le Cerf Island Resort as I wanted us to relax in luxury before coming back to real life after honeymoon. When we entered the villa, the hotel staff showed a small note at the jetted spa tub which said that the Seychelles is \"very dry\" and that the tub is thus temporary unavailable. I was disappointed and enquired whether there is an alternative or some other memorable way to end off our honeymoon. The hotel staff said that all other guests are understanding and that no compromises are made. We also spent time on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue before coming to Le Cerf. Overall the Seychelles is a great place to go for honeymoon, especially La Digue (i.e. bicycles, coconuts, L Source d' Argent beach, giant tortoises and welcoming residents) was incredible.

They definitely need to provide internet in bungalow, because trip to Reception, if you need send an e-mail, might be challenge.
In other respects, it's a nice romantic hideaway in rainforest jungle.

La vue gâche tout !

Séjour de 3 nuits en couple. Très bel établissement dans une belle végétation. Villa en bois de style coloniale, restaurant en bois ouvert sur l’océan. Bonne restauration, personnel très sympathique particulièrement Mme Valérie a l’accueil. Prêt de canoë bien pratique pour visiter le Parc marin. Aucun sentier pour se promener.
Points négatifs : accès à la villa par une montée très très raide et les voiturettes étaient en panne. Baignoire balneo qui ne fonctionnait pas dans aucune chambre car changement d’installation mais la clientèle n’est pas prévenue. Et enfin et surtout une vue HORRIBLE sur la zone industrielle PROVIDENCE avec d’énormes cheminées crachant de la fumée en permanence et selon le vent une odeur désagréable. Quel dommage !!! Je ne comprends pas que personne n’en est jamais parlé dans les avis.

Enast 10 minuter med båt från Mahe. Båten går från Eden Island, Bungalowen är mycket rymliga med härligt utedusch och stor terrass. Endast 2 hus med sjöutsikt och 2 med delvis utsikt. Familjehusen har alla fin sjöutsikt. Mycket backigt att ta sig till sitt boende men de skjutsar om man önskar. Snorklingrev utanför ön, de har även egen båt de kan skjuts till snorkling vid andra ställen. Nära till Moyenne ö där många sköldpaddor finns.

Die Lage des Hotels in der wunderschönen Umgebung ist perfekt, um schnorcheln oder Kayak fahren zu gehen. Die Ruhe ist herrlich entspannend. Sehr gut hat uns der Service gefallen: das Personal, besonders an der Rezeption, war äußerst hilfsbereit! Danke!

Fantastic place to unwind

I stayed 3 nights at the Cerf Island Resort and left with a big smile. The service level is very high and the staff is helpful and caring.
The rooms/cabins are very big and loved the semi outdoors bathroom. I was positively surprised by the standard of the room.
The breakfast was extraordinary, as well as lunch and dinner. It is worth a visit and I would for sure spend more nights there if I am back in Seychelles. Clean 10/10!

The place and the service on top quality! The rooms are very big and very comfortable. The area is huge so it is hard to jumo on other tourists, unless in rhe restaurant or swimming pool. Definately I will be coming back!

Ein wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Strand. Lage und Umgebung sind einfach traumhaft. Man hat die Möglichkeit zu schnorcheln, mit dem Kanu die Insel zu umrunden oder durch den Dschungel zu wandern. Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind rundum bemüht und überaus freundlich.
Diesen paradiesischen Aufnethalt kann ich nur empfehlen!

Schöne Anlage, aber das Essen ist nicht 4* würdig

Das Cerf Island Resort liegt auf einer kleinen Insel. Der Transfer per Taxi und Boot vom Flughafen war gut organisiert und sehr schnell. Check-In hat wunderbar geklappt, das Personal ist stets freundlich und auch die Anlage ist sehr schön - der Strand jedoch relativ klein! Die Zimmer bzw. Villen sind ein absolut Highlight - insbesondere das Badezimmer.

Jetzt kommt leider das große ABER: Frühstück und insbesondere das Abendessen sind weit davon entfernt, was man von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten könnte...

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist in Ordnung, es können Eierspeisen, Crepes, Porridge (ohne Zusatzkosten) bestellt werden. Heißgetränke außer Filterkaffee und Tee kosten extra. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist leider nicht sehr schön angerichtet, Obst ist mit Plastikschüsseln abgedeckt, bei Marmelade und Aufstrichen muss der Gast jedes mal selbst die Frischhaltefolie entfernen und wieder drauf machen...

Das Abendessen war für uns eine absolute Enttäuschung. Angerichtet ist das Ganze als Buffett. Nicht schön, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Einmal gab es einen \"Creole-Abend\" und einmal \"Fish Market\". Beides war keine Offenbarung, aber in Ordnung. Leider meint das Hotel bzw. der Koch aber auch verschiedene Themenabende wie zum Beispiel \"Italian\", \"International\" veranstalten zu müssen, die eine Beleidigung für die jeweilige Küche sind. Das \"Highlight\" war kleingeschnittene Pizza Hawaii aus einem silbernen Warmhaltebehälter am Buffett. Zudem wirkte das Personal beim Abendessen überfordert.

Personnel qui manque de professionnalisme mais compense par sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. Le matériel mis à disposition n est pas en très bon état (1 pédalo sur 3 en état). Impossible de regarder la TV (neige permanente sur l image).

Magnifique hôtel

Nous avons séjourné 7 nuits au Cerf Island.
Les villas sont éparpillés dans la végétation,c'est très calme, elles sont très propres. Le jour de l'arrivée on vous fait découvrir le point le plus haut avec une vue Magnifique sur Victoria, de l'autre côté vous avez St Anne et les autres petites îles. Le personnel est à vos petits soins. Lors des repas les serveurs, cuisinier viennent vous demander si cela se passe bien et si vous êtes satisfait de la qualité des repas. Tout le personnel est attentionné. Vous avez des canoë à disposition pour faire le tour de L'ile et vous rendre sur les autres îles aux alentours.. Vous avez également une navette de bateau qui dessert Victoria 2 fois par jour ( gratuit)
Je recommande cet hôtel,nous sommes très satisfait de ce séjour.

Hôtel négligeant côté service et propreté

L'hotel n'est pas forcément à la hauteur de nos attentes.
Point positif : La chambre vue mer, étant en lune de miel nous avons bénéficié d'une vue magnifique et d'une chambre très agréable. Seulement 2 dans l'hotel. Petit déjeuner copieux servis à la carte.
Points négatifs : Matériels nautiques et équipements très abîmés. Le personnel de l'hotel est un peu négligent. Nous avons fini notre voyage de noces par cet hotel après 15 jours d'itinérance en passant par d'autres hotels, et nous avons été malades que dans cet hotel. Les draps étaient sales à notre arrivée. 1 seul aller-retour gratuits pour Victoria, le reste est payant. Nous devions avoir une surprise durant notre sejour, nous ne l'avons jamais eu.

Les bons points :
- belle chambre (chambre zourit)
- très bonne nourriture tout au long du séjour (point ultra positif)
- pour faire du snorkeling il faut se bouger un peu mais ça vaut le coup
- le petit déjeuner peut se faire avec des requins ou des raies qui tournent en dessous du restaurant
- possibilité d'aller à saint Anne, moyenne Island, etc en kayak.

Points plus que mitigés :
- le site est face aux éoliennes de port Victoria
- une partie des clients avait plus de 50 ans pour autant pas 1 seule fois le personnel les a aidé pour descendre ou remonter les kayaks sur la plage
- quand plusieurs personnes du personnel racole les clients pour vendre des noix de coco ou autre c'est plus que limite
- le côut de la traversée lors de l'aller-retour est de 60€ auquel il faudra rajouter 40€ pour le transfert aller-retour de taxi
- le côut des cocktails au resort est plus important que le côut des cocktails dans les clubs de Victoria

En résumé ce n'est pas le meilleur hôtel des Seychelles

のどかだけど、微妙・・・

お部屋は緑に囲まれた静かで広いヴィラで、プライベート感たっぷり快適に過ごせた。
バスルームでは屋根が半分で空を見ながら、空を見て鳥のさえずりを聞きながらシャワーを浴びるときが一番リラックスできた。
ホテルのビーチは小さく、対岸は別の島の建設中のアパートメントだったり広がる景色も透明度も微妙だった。ビーチでゆっくりと、とならば、ボートを出してもらい、近くの小さな（サーフ島も十分小さい島だが）島に行く必要がある。
ルームサービス（ハンバーガーとパスタ）を注文したら1時間もかかった。レストランでも注文を取るまでにかなり待ち、当然。料理が運ばれてくるまでには時間がかかった。
ホテルのツアーデスクが充実していないので、他の離島へ行くなどのオプショナルツアーやアクティビティーを楽しみたい場合には、事前に旅行会社を通じて頼んでおいたほうがよい。

Ideale per una tappa su Cerf Island

Hotel e personale gradevoli, immerso nella vegetazione dell'isola, le ville sono ampie con un bel balcone che da sulla foresta, silenziose e con un enorme bagno all'aperto. Il resort mette a disposizione gratis kayak e pedalò per esplorare l'isola e i dintorni. Salite nel punto più alto dove c'é l'helipad per godere di una piacevole vista delle isole. Unica pecca sono alcune zone poco utilizzate dell'hotel, come la piscina di fronte la spiaggia e la zona tavoli dietro la sala ristorante. L'ideale per trascorrere 3-4 giorni, da abbinare ad altre tappe sulle isole.

Pas de possibilité de transport pour sortir de l'ile, manque des navettes bateaux pour visiter le soir Victoria ou autre autres.....sauf pour ceux qui ne bougent pas bcp très bien..

A really wonderful stay

私享的度假区

因为是在单独的一个岛上，所以，远离MAHE，远离Praslin, la degue但坐船出发到MAHE需要10分钟吧，很快。只是每天免费的船次只有一般，让人觉得太不贴心了。其他时间要加钱10欧元单次。如果只是想静静的找个地方，我认为这里比较合适，自然环境相当棒，小别墅，一共22栋。邻居都隔的很远，可是装修就是一般般了，有点陈旧，吧台啦，就餐区啦，还有前台啦，都是比较质朴和陈旧。但依然很干净的。服务也相当的好，相当好。对于塞舌尔整体偏贵，因为都是欧洲人度假的圣地，当初选这里也是因为其他全满了。不过比起HOTEL，而且不是五星HOTEL来说，我还是宁可选这里。但是以旅行为目的的，就不太合适了。行动不方便。

Situé sur une île

Les chambres sont confortables et possedent toutes un grand balcon, une baignoire thalaso et une douche exterieur. Les nouveaux managers(arrivés 1 semaine avant nous) font le nécessaire afin d'ameliorer les prestations: femme de menage. Des nouveaux masques, tubas et palmes viennent d'être commandés. Les repas en 1/2 pension sont de qualité et variés. Plusieurs navettes gratuites (bateau) sont à notre disposition pour aller sur Mahé (10mns). Si vous souhaitez trouver un havre de paix, c'est ici que vous devez aller!!! Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable.

Cerf Island est un endroit magnifique, et le resort est très agréable : le personnel est serviable et efficace. Tout était parfait. La possibilité de prendre des kayaks pour sillonner la lagune entre les iles est un plus.
