This is an older hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quiet.
We found out after our first day that the breakfast buffet was included in our stay - that was a nice surprise. We made good use of it for the next two days.
There are restaurants, shops, and a laundromat nearby. It is about a 10 minute walk to the bus station from the hotel.

What I liked:
The location is excellent — just a short walk to Courmayeur’s main street, shops, and restaurants. It’s also conveniently close to the Skyway Monte Bianco and public transportation. The area felt safe and quiet at night.

What I didn’t like:
The property feels dated and could benefit from renovation. While the room was clean, the furniture and fixtures are worn. Service was functional but not warm — more transactional than welcoming. Breakfast was adequate but not memorable. For the price, I expected more attention to detail in both service and amenities.

Overall:
A convenient base for exploring Courmayeur with a great location, but the property needs modernization and more engaging service to stand out.

Conveniently located, Les Jumeaux is adequately named as property is divided in two hotels.
We were sent to the second building, next to the ski lift. Unfortunately it is a long walk, no side walk available with a difficult access; fortunately we were guided by the cery helpful bellman. Property is runned down, rooms need renovating though housekeeping was excellent. Avoid rooms facing valley as they are beaten by the sun and AC did not work; we slept windows open but the room was above a busy road with traffic all night.
Breakfast was served in a room with no windows (!?) and service was lackadaisical.
Lobby had torn sofas and overall property needs refreshing; whilst nicely located in a central residential area of Courmayeur, there are better alternatives available at similar rates.
The ladies at the reception saved the stay as for most staff at Les Jumeaux who were very helpful and pleasant.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. An unfortunate incident changed the course of our trip and without their professionalism and kindness the whole vacation could have turned into a real nightmare. The location of the hotel was great, most comfortable bed (specially the pillows), friendly binlingual staff and manager.

Doesnt worth the money!

Extremely old and not well maintained hotel. It doesnt seen clean at all. Terrible shower. Staff at the lobby couldnt speak english! The check in at 5pm!!! But check out at 10am. How fair is that??
I would not stay again and i would not recommend.

The main part of the hotel on Rue Regionale looked nice enough. However the room we had was in the original hotel on Route Della Volpi. Room was in poor condition with bathroom floor not cleaned properly, bugs and some mould. The carpet in the two areas was old and felt horrible with bare feet. Hint use the provided slippers. Basic maintenance in room was lacking as well.
Overall served a purpose of a bed for a night but I would not stay in the same place again.

The staff is great and the main hotel is great, but they put us in an old 2nd building that was about 150 yards down the hill, and above the main highway (noisy because it was hot and we had too keep the window open with no fan available). It was the building that the help stays in. The hotel said it was the level room I booked, but the website made no distinction between the two buildings nor was there a picture of the old building. I would gladly have paid more for a room in the main hotel, but there was nothing available by the time we arrived.

Loud Music until midnight!!

An unpleasant stay all together. We were kept awake until nearly midnight on both nights by loud music coming from somewhere in the hotel. They need to decide whether they are a music venue or a hotel!! The room was unbearably hot with no way of cooling it down.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Jumeaux. We had just finished four days of hiking the TMB. We arrived wet and muddy from the rain five hours before our scheduled check in. The front desk found us a room to store our luggage and change, and immediately took our laundry and rushed to get our room ready within an hour.

The rooms are a little dated, but the hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. Would recommend staying here.

Property manager charged us a large fee for a 3rd person despite us having booked a triple room. They admitted that if we had stated 3 persons at the time of booking, there would be no charge, but since we arrived with 3 and our Expedia booking said 2 persons they had to charge us per \"hotel policy\". Completly ridiculous. Just looking for ways to gouge guests. Property run down...tub faucet broken, bathroom door wouldn't open all the way as it hit the uneven floor. Rude staff. Lots of other good hotels nearby. Find another.

Our room was a separate building from main building. It was So hot in August and there was no air conditioning or fan. We had to walk down 30 steps outside to get our luggage to our room with such extreme heat. The baggage porter could have taken us down the garage elevator to our rooms, but he didn’t. Inexperienced porter! Our room backed on to a highway so sleeping with doors open wasn’t a great experience. Courmayeur is a beautiful place to visit, however I don’t think I would return to that hotel.

This property definitely needs an update, it is clean but dated and there area parts of the common area that area damaged and feel unpleasant. The furniture in the rooms is dated as well, but the beds are comfortable and the linens and towels are clean! You can walk to the gondola but unfortunately you can't ski in. You have to come back with the gondola which was a huge disappointment for me. This is not a ski in property. You can walk to the pedestrian area, they offer covered parking and overall we had a good experience. Rooms are warm, unlike another property we stayed at the week after.

Great location and good value hotel in the heart of beautiful Courmayeur. Adjacent the gondola and a short stroll in to the town centre.
Extremely attentive staff.

Bedrooms are a little dated and one or two simple improvements would benefit them (shower heads/mattresses etc) but as ski hotels go it’s perfect.

Parking in this town is also a massive bonus but it not free so factor that in

We had a family room for 4 with a balcony and mountain view. Plenty of space with 2 rooms that were clean and very comfortable. Room was made up every day and the large double bed was very comfortable. Had a fridge which was great for drinks and snacks.
Location is ideal for the gondola which is a 2 minute walk down the hill and takes you up to the ski area at plan checrouit. There is a ski hire shop right opposite the hotel where you can book skis etc and then you collect and leave them in the main shop up in the ski area so very convenient and can get 10% off if ask in hotel.
It is a 5 minute level walk down into the town where there are plenty of places of to eat.
Breakfast in hotel was great and staff were brilliant and friendly. We didn't have dinner so can't comment on that.
All in all would recommend the hotel.

A great place to stay in Courmayeur

I had a great stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast buffet was much better than other places in Italy. Plus they were so kind to hold onto my suitcase while I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc and they even had it waiting for me in my room. The only downsides are that the decor/finishes are a little dated. And the bed is not comfortable.

Had difficulty finding the hotel, even though we knew more or less where it was. We couldnt see any sign driving past and the road was so busy we could not park. We did find by chance the garage entrance but again there was no clear sign and a nearby helpfull lady resident confirmed that it was indeed the Hotel Jumeaux. Unfortunately our excellent room proved noisy as it had an adjoining room with connecting door, the occupants of which had a barking dog, came in at 1am and talked loudly. But that is bad luck, not the fault of the hotel.
However, we would recommend the hotel, the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had.

Slightly tired timeshare orientated hotel - but in a great location, with adequate and clean rooms and an excellent breakfast service (rare in Courmayeur). Staff were helpful and bar service was attentive. It was Christmas - so lots of kids and family activities in the lobby / reception area. Good parking in the basement at a price). Dog friendly at the same daily rate.

Given the prime location, I felt this hotel was good value overall.

Lovely frontage but the rooms could do with updating to include air conditioning ,and decor to be lighter.
Staff in reception helpful .
Tried the restaurant waited too long for a menu think they forgot about us asked for one , ordered dinner,The main meal came out as we were having starter buffet far too quickly.They seem to want to get the meals over and done very quickly .meal okay .They forgot dessert . We were out within an hour . didn’t live up to what the hotel said in their website . Next day breakfast was very relaxed no rush and was to a good standard.

The hotel is the best placed for access to the cable car, which in skiing season is a major consideration.
My one small and tiny moan would be a lack of any English speaking channels on the cable TV - but that also had the upside of a week away from the world’s lunatics!

The hotel is a bit dated but has all the comfort you’d expect.
It’s very convenient for the main cable car to the pistes which is right next door.
Walking into town takes 10minutes.
After a heavy night snow fall the outdoor car park was well managed and no one had issues getting out with their Car.
Our room had a great view of the mountain

Excellent location right by the cable car. Very friendly welcome from reception staff who were helpful throughout our stay. Rooms are fairly basic, but perfectly comfortable and plenty of hot water for welcome baths after a day skiing. Best bit of breakfast was the fresh fruit juice, squeezed to order from oranges, mandarins, kiwi, lemons, ginger and more.

This hotel cannot be called \"4 stars\". I have stayed at hostels and refuges better than this.

The communal areas, as well as rooms are old, dated and not well maintained. Staff were generally unfriendly. There is no air conditioning making it especially uncomfortable with temperature in the high 20's.

Breakfast was decent.

Specifically regarding the room I stayed in - Classic Double/Twin:
- Room smelt like a wet dog.
- Tap in bathroom sink dripped the whole stay.
- Shower head when adjusted in height kept sliding back down as mechanism to tighten was broken.
- Mould in the bathroom and several cracked tiles.
- The live \"entertainment\" in the reception area goes quite late in the night and can be heard loud and clear in the room, not just the music and singing, but also the movement of chairs and people above. Made worse if you open the balcony door in the hope of some fresh / cool air.
- The \"minibar\" fridge was mouldy inside.
- The advertised \"city views\" were of the building next door.

On checking in we were told to put the luggage back in the car because our rooms were in an annex located some distance from the main hotel and off the beaten track. The facilities in this annex felt like 2 star, not the 4 star main building. i.e. there was no lobby or bar in which to sit with friends and/or access wifi. The wifi in rooms was so unreliable as to be unusable. We had to put our winter gear on and trudge back the 5 mins to the main building to send email. The beds and pillows were rock hard, given three of the five of us neck pain. The heating was very hot and the only way to control the room temp was to open the balcony door. The toilet leaked when flushed. The water provided in the room was not replenished after the first day and when we turned the bathroom taps on to drink that water, it ran rust-coloured. The \"welcome drink\" for geniuses included a thimble of prosecco or orange juice. At 200+ euro per night we expected much more!

The hotel was magnificent and the staff super friendly and helpful. The staff spoke multi-language (Italian,French and English) the room was the spiciest and best room we had in Europe so far and the balcony offered a wonderfull view. Overall it was amazing but the breakfast buffet was a little disappointing as it offered very little choice or variety.

Can't believe that this place has been given bad reviews. We stayed in the main building. Large rooms with plenty of storage. Rooms were very clean. The hotel had free ski storage. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were amazing. The only improvements needed were a kettle with coffee and tea could be provided, better wifi and better sound proofing (as we could hear our neighbours talking at normal volume).

Third time I have stayed here for Feb half term skiing, this time in the annexe for the first time. It is right next to the big cable car and pretty cheap but the rooms are tired, beds and pillows uncomfortable, the breakfast is limited and there is no WiFi in bedrooms, which these days is unforgivable.

Make sure you spend more time skiing and eating out.

The staff and breakfast are both fantastic, but they wasted their money putting up walls or ceilings because for how poor the soundproofing is, your neighbors might as well be sitting in your bed with you!

great value great location

Exceptionally convenient location. 5 minute walk to the high street where most of the nice restaurants, shops etc. are. Out the back ski ro door only 100m to the cable car to go up to Courmayeur. Snow was pretty limited, but also convenient to get to La Thuille (10 minute walk to bus station and 20 minute bus to La Thuille for 4 euros return, same walk to bus station and 30 minute bus to Chamonnix for 25 euros). Great flexibility. Hotel itself was great, cracking breakfast and exceptionally helpful staff. Very useful for us at it was our first time visiting. Will definitely be returning!

Last minute stay

Picked up a bargain price on a last minute stay in Courmayeur. Not at all sure how this hotel rated as well as it did, it was not a luxury hotel by any means. Staff was helpful. Room, however, was dirty. Nice location, but we'll pick a different hotel next time.

Repeated requests required to staff

Twin beds requested at time of online booking were not noted by the staff. We had to request twice for the beds and linen to be corrected. Our ground floor room, without air conditioning, was stifflingly hot and it was unsafe to open the doors while sleeping at night. We requested a new room the next morning, and were (eventually) given a very nice upgrade to a 4th floor room with a balcony with a view to the mountains. Great breakfast buffet and attentive wait staff. Internet point in the lobby was appreciated.

Short break ski-ing , great location re the cable car , NOT a 4 star rating but ok and reasonable price. Lacked a decent evening restaurant and atmosphere in the poorly staffed bar.

Great location for a ski trip

The location, the premises, the breakfast, and the service was great.

The cleanliness of the sheets bring the value down quite a bit. The room service changed stained comforter upon request with other stained comfoter. Too bad as it is so easy to fix and pay attention to.

The hotel is less than a rock throw away from the main lift, and has a ski room. It makes life real easy for skiers.

Also, since the main lift operates until almost midnight, the apres ski regulars will enjoy accessibility.

Perfect location+good hotel=amazing stay!

Really nice hotel, amazing stay.
Location is superb: you can literally roll out from the bed straight into the funivia Courmayeur!ready for a great day on the slopes!And the beautiful Courmayeur town centre is only 5 min walking!shops and supermarket are next door. Just perfect!
We had a big and very clean room with mountain view that could have fit at least four people!Temperature was quite high though, and couldn't really be controlled so we had to open a little bit the windows to let some fresh mountain air to come in!That was the only (really small!) disappointment.
Breakfast was really good!Continental buffet breakfast with a good choice of fresh local produces (cheese is really good in that region!).
Parking at the hotel is available, both in the park (10€/day) and in the garage(15€/day). Ski deposit is also available, just ask for the keys at the reception!

Location fantastic

Ideal for kids as so close to gondola. This hotel is all about the location, especially the 2nd building. Staff great, especially the chaps who did breakfast.

Nice, Small Hotel With Outstanding Staff

This is a small, older hotel that is scheduled for renovation starting in April 2015. We have stayed here several times with relatives, and will stay here again. While the building may be older, it is extremely well maintained, clean, and has the most outstanding staff. I gave it a 4 for condition just because it is older. The only thing that is not to my liking is the garage, which has fairly narrow spaces and large pillars. I have never hit one, but it takes focus to get the car parked. Strongly recommend.
