A neat hotel situated close to the market square and a major lake. Hotel has a spacious sauna and a big balcony to cool down afterwards. There is also a pretty decent gym to get an adequate hotel workout in during your stay.

Okay hotel with friendly service in Kuopio

They were very friendly, I got the room early and it was clean and nicely decorated. Pillow could have been better though + amenities such as soap & shampoo were basic. The parking costs extra, but not very much. I was on the border of \"OK\" vs. higher \"pleasing\" on overall, but ended up to \"OK\", perhaps due to the breakfast, which was more on the ordinary side compared to some of the other similar price range hotels. Overall okay value for the money, but nothing extraordinary.

My favourite hotel in Kuopio.

I've stayed at this hotel on many occassions. It's close to the town centre and it's many restaurants. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Breakfast is very good. The service is always excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Business Regular to Kuopio.

I have stayed at a number of different hotels in Kuopio and this one is the best so far with two good places to eat below the hotels rooms. There is an easy two minute walk to the centre of town where there are many other places to eat. I would recommend Frans and Sophie for an evening meal and also its the same place where the hotel serves breakfast.The local taxi service when called by the hotel arrives within five minutes.

Had to change 2 rooms to get one

Had to change 2 rooms to get one aprx.ok. However the traditional room was in bad shape. Bathroom: missing shower door!!!!. No everyday cleaning, one light bulb burned, no sleepers or bathrobe. Internet wifi card had to be renewed every day. No heating option at this time of the year(Aug. 30). Price high compared to what they offer. Had better room in Helsinki at Cumulus Hakaniemi (4 star hotel, including breakfats at 62 euro/night). In Kuopio paid 100 euro /night. Breakfast very good, restaurant service very good.Location very good.

Very typical Finnish chain hotel,

Very typical Finnish chain hotel, with nice room and modern facilities. I rated facilities only \"average\", because the TV set in the room did not work properly.

Breakfast was very good, although we did not really have time to enjoy it. On Sunday it started at 7 am, and we had to leave 7:10.

I would stay there again.

Quick sunmer holiday in Kuopio

Hotel staff was super nice and helpfull on every encounter, they gave us travel tips, small room upgrade and so on. Parking was super easy and pricing reasonable. Breakfast was ample with good balance of sweet and salty foods.

There were few quirks though:
-to access breakfast space, one has to go to basement, take underground corridor under public road and then resurface on different building, quirky but not bad.
-We got small room upgrade to have one with private sauna room. Everything was clean and neat but it seemed like someone had removed bedside tables and related lightning. This left the room little bit funny in usability.


Other than those few quirks, all went well and hotel location is superb.

Kaikki, siis kaikki, äänet naapurihuoneesta kuuluivat kuin olisimme olleet samassa huoneessa. Olisimme voineen käydä keskustelun normaaliäänellä naapurihuoneen majoittujien kanssa. Tiesimme mitä aikoivat tehdä, minne mennä jne. Onneksi oli lapsiperhe, niin yöllä oli vain ”vieressä kuorsaava mies”.

Kahden yön yöpyminen

Henkilökunta sekä respassa että ravintoloissa oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Ongelmallista että hotelli on kahdessa rakennuksessa. Tuli paljon juoksemista rakennusten välillä matkatavaroiden kanssa ennenkuin hotellihuoneen paikka hahmottui. Näkyi myös muita matkustajia, jotka etsivät huonettaan sekä aamiaisravintolaa. Sokkeloisuus siis on ongelma, muuten viihdyimme hyvin.

Perus hyvä hotelli. Iso plussa sijainnista.
Hotellin ravintola hieman pettymys. Ruoka oli aika mautonta ja tylsää. Söimme kalaa, etanoita, sekä friteerattuja kukkakaaleja. Pyysimme rauhallista huonetta, kun tiedossa oli että monet festarit menossa ja saatiinkin sellainen. Siisti ja palvelut lähellä.

Mukava hotelli keskustassa

Oli hyvä ja ystävällinen palvelu. Aamiainen erittäinkin runsas ja monipuolinen. Saunassakin kerkesin käydä ja lämpöä oli riittävästi. Mukavan kävelymatkan päässä torilta (Mualiman navasta).
Se, mikä jäi ikävänä mieleen oli kylpyhuoneen pesualtaan hana. Näinä aikoina haluaisi pestä käsiänsä useasti, mutta ei houkutellut. Hanasta tileva vesisuihku on niin lähellä altaan takareunaa, että rystyset saivat osumaa. Liekö saneeraajalta rahat loppuneet, jolloin on ostanut halvemmat hanat, vai eikö suunniteltuja hanoja ole saatu ja on laitettu markkinoilta saadut melkein sopivat hanat. Keskustelin kyllä respan kanssa asiasta ja he ovat saaneet asiasta palautetta muiltakin. Harmi, että jäi minulle mieleen. Pikku juttu isossa hotellissa.

Sänkyjen vieressä ei ollut pistorasiaa, joten puhelimella dataaminen yöaikaan ei meinannut onnistua. Palvelu oli erittäin hyvää ja henkilökohtaista, kakkoskerroksen huoneissa oli hieman huonon oloinen ilmanvaihto. Positiivinen kokemus kaikenkaikkiaan, ensi kerralla menisin pidemmän puhelimen laturijohdon kanssa.

Huoneiden ilmastointi

Hotelli on moderni ja siisti, mutta ilmastointi ei toiminut tehokkaasti. Jouduimme vaihtamaan huonettakin sen vuoksi. Toiseenkin huoneeseen tarvittiin lisäksi tuuletin.
Palvelu oli erinomaista esim. ravintoloissa ja aamiaisella sekä receptionissa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta!

Mukava hotelli, jossa ystävällinen vastaanotto. Meidän huone oli hiljaiselle sisäpihalle päin, joten sinne ei melua kuulunut. Aamiaisella oli runsaasti kaikkea, ja paikallisia erikoisuuksia oli myös tarjolla. Hyvä pysäköintialue takapihalla, missä oma alue myös moottoripyörille. Siistit tilat ja huone sopivankokoinen. Ehdottomasti voisin tulla uudelleen.

Hyvä ja mukava hotelli

Huone oli muuten hyvää perustasoa, mutta oli turhan viileä. Yhden hengen huone oli väliovella yhdistettävissä viereiseen huoneeseen ja ovi aiheutti sen että viereisen huoneen asukkaiden kömpiminen puoli kolmen aikoihin huoneeseensa häiritsi nukkumista. Aamiainen oli loistava.

Good location, very friendly service. Long queues in check in. Awfully hard bed, small lumpy pillows, room was cold. Very basic room reminded of low cost self-service hotels. Paying 155 eur night in Kuopio for a room like this is ripoff.

Huone oli siisti ja tyylikkäästi sisustettu, hieman ahtaanpuoleinen tosin. Sänky oli hyvä. Saimme pyynnöstä huoneen vanhimmalta puolelta puistonäkymin, jotka ravintolan kyltti tosin harmillisesti suurelta osin peitti. Tästä miinus, vaikkei aikaa puistomaisemien ihailuun loputtomasti ollutkaan. Aamiainen oli hyvää perussettiä, ja melko ruuhkainen. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen.

Ei paras kokemus

Huoneissa ei äänieristystä nimeksikään ja todella kuuma, ilmastointia ei pystynyt säätämään.Koirien kanssa liikenteessä. Useissa Koiraystävällisissä hotelleissa yöpyneenä tämä oli kulunein ja muutenkin ankea.
