I was in a studio room, that is not located in the main building. When I showed I wish for cleaning the sign was always blown away by the wind and staff did not see it. They should care about it a little bit more.

A good nights sleep not possible
Hotel is in an excellent location although I would not recommend this hotel as usually there is a silence code between 22.00 and 06.00. Here large groups were returning at 23.45 singing and running around on the 4th floor. Then again at 02.15 and again at 05.25. So if you want a good nights sleep especially from Thursday to Sunday go elsewhere.

The room was fine except for the lack of air-conditioning. Open terrace door helped keep the room from getting stuffy.
The outstanding feature of hotel is the spa. It features 4 different kinds of sauna, a small swimming pool and two hot-tubs. The view from the hot tub is spectacular, looking across the river. The sauna experience was truly Finnish. There is also a \"suolahuone\" (salt room) where you can sit and breath salt air. The spa is very modern and well kept. Well worth the extra 15 Euros. We would stay there again just for the spa experience.

Great Hotel located in Rural Setting
This hotel is a good hotel if you have a few days to spend in the area. It has a lot of things to do. However I was only there for one night so unfortunately I couldn't avail of a lot of the services they have to offer. Hotel feels like your in remote part of Finland but its within walking distances of shops. Its quiet area makes it ideal stop off hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. All amenities are provided including dressing gowns. Breakfast was self serve and consisted of hot and cold foods and tasted great. I will continue to stay at this hotel when I return because I found it a very welcoming and relaxing hotel even though I was only there for one night.

Nice spa clean and well supervised, good size swimming pool. Staff helpful, and polite, however the breakfast buffet was monotonous,the evening meals lacked imagination. Surprising that hotel guests still had to pay an entrance fee to enter the dancing area(all be it a reduced fee) Good information available regarding local amenities places of interest etc.

Wonderful visit.
The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We especially enjoyed the smoke sauna, lumberjack demonstration, Finnish dinner and accordian entertainment. We took the boat from the hotel to Kuopio and the bus back to the hotel. The spa massages and sauna were lovely. The Ala Carte dinner in the cafe was nice, and the breakfast buffet was included. This is a great place for families, couples, and retirees.

Arrival reception computers did not work and we were unable to get in our room before our afternoon business meeting. Meeting rooms were reasonable and sandwiches ok. Hotel restaurant and lounge very dark and perhaps need something new. Room was very basic, furniture seen best days and balcony had not so new looking table and chairs. On arrival reception not overly welcoming and when leaving forgot to charge conference room. Breakfast was very good!

The hotel is possibly OK for families but not couples of business. There was a disco at the hotel and I had the thumping of that coming through my room all night. Breakfast was difficult as there were so many people cramed into a small area to get their buffet food.

Great hotel on outskirts of Kuopio
Stayed midweek and hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel gets busy in summer months and has a lot of activities that can be useful if you are staying more than 1 night. Checking in was prompt and courteous, Breakfast was self service and very well stocked with all you need to get off to a good start to the day. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

A nice place to stay in Kuopio, Finland
This was a good hotel and surrounding area especially for the price. The property has lake access and nice typical walking paths as much of Finland does have. The rooms are large for Europe standards. If staying for a few days there is much to do inside and outside. The restaurant was well priced for Finland standards and the food was good as were the employees. Also, they have a good beer variety of not just Finnish beers. I liked it.

Hotelli on ihan hyvä, kunhan ei ole kesähelle, sillä ilmastointia ei ole. Ilmainen ja tilava parkkialue ja pihasta lähtevä bussilinja ovat hyviä asioita. Tilat ovat jo parhaat päivänsä nähneet, mutta siisteys oli kunnossa. Kasvissyöjälle ei aamiaisella ole muuta syötävää kuin leipää, tomaattia, kurkkua, vihreää salaattia ja hilloa & marjoja. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

The family room had a bizzare loft bed hanging from the ceiling with no way to get on to it but jump up - not very convenient and difficult for kids. Nothing like the description or photo. Room lock system also was usually not working as cards didnt unlock the door easily.

Ihan hyvä hotelli muutaman kilometrin päässä Kuopijon keskustasta. Bussi nro 7 lähtee hotellin edestä, mikä voi olla joillekin hyvä juttu. Ilmastointia ei ole, mikä verottaa arvosanaa, kun huoneessa oli koko ajan 27 astetta lämmintä. Ilmaista parkkitilaa on hyvin ja ympäristö on ainakin kesällä viihtyisä. Aamiainen oli suomalaisten hotellien joukossa keskitasoa. Palvelu oli ystävällistä.
