Good stay for a night or two. Great central location. Room size typically small for a city centre hotel, but adequate. Nice en-suite bathroom with bath, a bonus.
Staff as friendly as ever, we returning guests.
Breakfast ok, limited hot food options. Juices wonderful.
Overall a good hotel and will stay again.

The very dark corridors make you feel uncomfortable. In the room was terrible smell of a sewerage not allowing to sleep. Bathroom.was very dated and definitely need renovation.

The property is desperately in need of updating. Air conditioning didn’t work but nothing was done. Toilet ran constantly and nothing was done. Paid 16 euros for breakfast and there was hardly any food but service was still another 75 minutes. I had a mini muffin and some fruit. There had been scrambled eggs & bacon bug they were gone and no more was brought out. Coffee machine was not working. Halls were so dark that we had to turn on our lights on our phones. I will never stay there again.

Easy check in. Polite staff. Directed us to hotel parking precisely.
Room small but functional. Nice bathroom, modern.
Breakfast a good choice, but juice, eggs not replaced. Coffee was horrible. Left to stew. Hotel needs a proper coffee machine. Was only let down of this hotel.

Wonderful night at the Regis

Check in was quick and easy. The hotel and room was very clean. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was amazing. We chose the lamb and veal, tres being. Christmas decorations were superb.

We were please at the location. We had very helpful staff. Great room, with separate toilet to bathroom. Unfortunately no fridge for cooling drinks. Beautiful breakfast very reasonable.

Welcoming hotel in Chalon s/ Soane

This was a nice hotel in one of the larger cities in the Burgundy area. Great proximity to shopping and the river. The hotel's bar and restaurant were a cozy place to have a meal or breakfast each morning. Parking was around the block and very secure. The rooms are clean but nothing fancy.

Typical up-scale hotel in a small city

The Hotel Saint Regis is a typical up-scale hotel in a small city. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. The rooms are relatively basic: Clean, reasonably spacious, decent bed and the usual facilities without anything special. This hotel was chosen for its location: halfway along a road trip between the north of France and the north of Italy. As somewhere to stay, it was fine. There is a small bar (closed before 11pm on the night I visited) and a Bistro (expensive but the food was decent.

This is a good hotel with a nice restaurant. However there is no car park. Hotel.com’s expression ‘self parking’ clearly means ‘no parking’. The Banque parking is very close and reasonably priced.

Good stopover on bike path.

Excellent old style hotel. Nice room. Good location. Good WiFi. Bikes locked in storage room in garage. BEWARE. The hotel charges 10 euros to store 2 bicycles. We did not pay as no hotel charges for bikes in Europe.

La chambre supérieure était préhistorique. La moquette composée de dalle aiguisées genre bureau sans âge, carrelage de salle de bain datant de l'ancien régime, des trouves dans le mur au dessus du lit, un mobilier cheap de la campagne, pas de deco. Bref, atroce. Nous sommes en 2026 et voir de tels équipements est totalement déprimant. Plus jamais.

Il n'y avait pas grand choix au restaurant de l'hôtel et le rapport qualite prix n'était pas à la hauteur. La clim était en panne et il faisait très chaud. Beaucoup de mouches dont l'une est tombée dans mon verre de bière.

Perfekt service! Ingenting å klage på personalet. Aircondition fungerte ikke noe som er kjedelig i så små rom. Vi kunne også høre folk gå i rom over oss. Sistnevnte er vanskelig å gjøre noe med med aircondition må fikses.

L'air conditionné n'était pas en mode climatisation. La température dans la chambre était beaucoup trop élevée, j'ai passé une très mauvaise nuit.
J'ai tenté d'ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer mais ca na pas été possible de la laisser ouverte, la route en dessous génère trop de nuisance (bruit et pollution).

Que du TTB sur l'hôtel et son restaurant - chambre double impeccable pour un court séjour (1 à 3-4 nuits) - personnel attentionné - calme, pour autant sur un grand boulevard commerçant, tout à proximité du centre ville (sans en avoir les désagréments) et, en même temps, proche d'une entrée/sortie de l'autoroute A6.
