Just OK

When we arrived (girlfriend and 4 year old daughter), we were greeted by friendly staff which was great and at first glance the room/hotel was also great.

There were a few let downs but we did not argue/complain as the cost was relatively cheap and we are generally easy going people.

Im afraid the worst bit for us was the beds & pillows - they were extremely firm and did not give a good night sleep at all. I hate to say but towards the end of the holiday, I dreaded going to bed.

You would also definitely need a car as there are minimal things to do in the immediate area.

Pool was also green with rubbish in and looked as if no attention had been paid to it for months.

I dont want to go on complaining so ill sum it up by saying its OK and if your looking for something cheap and cheerful, then its worth considering.

Basic facilities but handy for a few days

took a while to find. Couldn't find any nice restaurants near by but hotel restaurant was adequate (buffet style for all meals) and OK with Children. Staff weren't overly friendly but its proximity to the Santander Port was useful

Handy for Santander ferry port

After a marathon drive across Spain it was with relief that we arrived at the hotel. It is ideally situated about 12k from the port. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for the price.
Our room was spotlessly clean with everything you would need for a mini break.

Nothin special, but very cheap!

For only €60 a night, good value. Nice view, but you'll need a car/cab to get anywhere ...its in the country. 10min drive from the beach. Room good size...hotel is old, but clean. Bed uncomfortable.

Recommended for first night after ferry crossing

Not as easy to find as we expected, when just arriving from ferry in Santander so unused to roads and driving in Spain,so it took us a while to find it but this was not a problem. The hotel had beautiful view across the valley. The location was a bit out of the way,in the middle of newish build houses, but this suited us fine. Very good local restaurant close by, which was popular with the locals. Self catering is perfect for us due to special dietary requirements.

Out of the way Hotel in bad need of renovation

This is a country side Hotel in the outskirts of Santander. It really needs renovation. We were unlucky since a huge group was there and the Hotel services were collapsed including breakfast. Not a nice experience.

Good Hotel with good facilities

This is a good apartment hotel for a family with small kids. A hire car is a must if you want to go to the tourist areas of Santander as it would probably get expensive and restricting using Taxis to get back and forth. Overall a decent hotel but obviously dont expect five star facilities. Kids room kept the kids entertained and the night entertainment was very good too.

A beautiful oasis away.

Our corner room with private garden was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice view overlooking the river. The small kitchenette was a welcome blessing, with a refrigerator, range, and some basic cooking implements. The outdoor pools were still quite cool for the season, but the indoor pool turned out to be comfortably heated. The buffet dinner was pricey, but not overly so given the vast amount of choices and the comparatively cheap and tasty house wine. One dish that stood out as exceptionally delicious was the 'twice baked mussels', or that's what I'll call them at least. Unfortunately there is no surrounding splendor to go with this great place. The nearest restaurant was 1.5km away, nearest supermarket was 2km away, and that's a very generous term for this mini convenience store. A really fantastic place to come and relax if only to get away from everywhere else.

Nice hotel full of kids making noise until midnigh

This is a family hotel for young children. We had a one night stop over waiting for the ferry from Santander. So not that bothered. Great views and location for beaches. The apartment set up was ideal for catering for difficult or fussy diets. The outside pool could of done with a clean but all in all no problems.

A pleasant surprise

We used this as an overnight stop, but could imagine it would be a good base for several days or a week exploring Santander and region. It was excellent value with a fairly well equipped kitchen (though we didn't use it) as well as living area with sofa bed and comfy separate bedroom. The bathroom had a real bath too! We didn't try the gym or the indoor (heated) or outdoor (unheated) pools because they are open from 10 only, so don't really work well with an overnight stop. Buffet restaurant on site for evening meal and breakfast was good value (kids half price).

No frills but ideal stop before or after the ferry

We were travelling from the costa blanca to santander for a ferry crossing and booked this to enable us to travel whilst the children slept (eventually) and to give us the morning relaxing rather than doing it all in one go. The initial impression of the hotel was disappointing as when we checked in at midnight, there was no cot as requested, and the third pull out bed was not made nor bedding provided. The porter was very helpful and resolved it swiftly and even relayed my dissatisfaction to the morning reception staff. The room was basic but comfortable and slept the 4 (2 adults 2 children) of us easily, there was a tv which worked but the kitchenette was very basic without a kettle or toaster (there was a microwave). The breakfast was a continental without any frills so I wouldn't pay the extra especially if you are travelling prepared with a few nibbles and enough to make a cuppa (using the microwave for hot water!). The overall winner was the pool, it was a real treat to find an indoor heated swimming pool to keep my 3yr old occupied until we needed to get the ferry. The hotel is located about 10/15mins drive from the port but even with sat nav we couldn't find it, the post code took us to the near by chalet village however luckily a taxi driver who let us follow him. the hotel didn't charge for the cot and gave us a late check out to apologise for the mistakes they had made. All in all I would probably look for elsewhere but if budget dictated I would go back.

Cold indoor pool - otherwise nice stay

The indoor pool very cold for young children. Location was easy to find if driving & very convienent to Santander. We ate in hotel both nights. Food was adaquate. Breakfast was also standard. Overall good value.

Muy caro para la calidad que luego se ofrece, mobiliario en habitaciónes...

Pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués

Très cher pour le niveau de prestation proposé et la situation. Résidence très familiale avec des animations pour les enfants qui ont l'air d'apprécier (c'est probablement ce qui justifie le prix). Wifi très mauvais. Photos de la salle de sport non conformes (pas de vélo, pas de rameur). Belle piscine extérieure. Vaisselle très limitée dans les appartements. Service très agréable globalement

Amplio, bien comunicado y buen servicio

Perfecto para visitar Santander y alrededores, ya que está muy bien comunicado junto a la autovía. Esta ubicado en un lugar tranquilo, pudiendo aparcar sin problemas y los servicios y el personal son de cinco estrellas. Excelente calidad precio.
La piscina es perfecta para terminar el día.

aparthotel completo y cerca de Santander

Un aparthotel muy completo, las habitaciones son amplias y están bien equipadas, la cocina es pequeña pero completa, hay una cafeteria por si no se desea contratar media pension, lo mejor del hotel es el personal, que es muy amable y atento, también es de reseñar que esta muy bien situado para visitar Santander y sus alrededores, en una urbanización al lado de la autovia

Muy bonito y muy bien para ir con niños, sitio tranquilo y muy bien en la piscina climatizads.los alrededores muy bonitos para hacer excursiones.las habitaciones amplias y con buen balcón y con buenas vistas, los platos combinados en el bar muy ricos y bien de precio, lo único el buffff del restaurante para la cena un poco escaso pero bueno. Interesante relación calidad -precio.

Muy buen hotel, con apartamento amplio, limpio, cómodo y funcional, aunque con pantalla pequeña de 14 pulgadas. Cama estupenda y sofá - cama en el salón.
Piscina exterior, e interior sin cargo. Wifi perfecto y gratuito. El parque nacional de Cabárceno a tan sólo 15 minutos. Personal correcto y agradable.
Como nota negativa, la animación y música cada noche en el patio central del edificio, cuyo sonido alcanza a todas las habitaciones e impide descansar e incluso escuchar la tv.
También el jaleo que forman los abuelos del inserso que llegan en muchos autobuses y que no tienen tacto con los demás huéspedes, sobre todo por la mañana temprano, pero eso ya no es culpa del establecimiento.
Buena relación calidad-precio. Volvería.

Buen aparthotel.

Un buen aparthotel para familias. Estuvimos un fin de semana y no utilizamos el servicio del comedor ni las piscinas (la exterior no se podía por ser temporada baja, y la interior no la vimos), pero las habitaciones era espaciosas, luminosas y cómodas. Por la noche no se escuchaba ningún ruido. Se puede cocinar perfectamente y hay buenos utensilios. Volveremos a repetir.

Todo muy bien la verdad iba con miedo por tanto comentario negativo pero si me gustaría añadir un par de detalles para mejorar la experiencia bajo mi punto de vista, un poco mas de cordialidad y simpatía de parte de recepción, que no digo qie no atiendan bien pero no se nota cercanía; y que se enfatice la NO ENTRADA con CALZADO DE CALLE a la zona PISCINA. Lo demás estuvimos muy a gusto.

El hotel en general bien, las vistas si coges una habitación con vistas mucho mejor lo único que te cobran un poco más, igual que la cuna cobran un suplemento de 4.5€ por noche, eso no lo comparto mucho es el primer hotel que hemos ido que nos han cobrado por dejarnos la cuna.
La piscina está muy bien, los precios de la comida del bar no son desorbitados y hay mucho ambiente por las noches para los niños considero que es un buen aparthotel si vas con família. Tuvimos un pequeño problema con la sabana ajustable de la cuna de la niña, la tragimos de casa, porqué había leído en comentarios que ellos no te la facilitaban y por error la chica de la limpieza la mandó a lavar, la tuvimos que reclamar durante días pero al final nos la devolvieron, comentar que una de las chicas de recepción fue muy amable y se disculpó un montón de vezes. La limpieza de la habitación para mi parecer el suelo no estava muy limpio y había bastante polvo, las sabanas nos las cambiaron porque estuvimos una semana y las toallas cada 2 o 3 días también las cambian. Lo mejor de todo considero la ubicación, si quieres hacer excursiones queda al medio de todo un poco. Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Santander, Cabarceno, está todo muy cerca. Santoña si que ya te queda un poquito más lejos.

La comida decepcionante. El buffet escaso, mala calidad, poca variedad, repetitivo, todo sabe igual, el servicio del comedor pésimo. tu mismo tienes que recogerte la comida, limpiarte los platos, recogerte tu mesa....

La piscina climatizada estaba cerrada. Llevaba varios días cerrada. En comentarios anteriores he visto que siempre estaba cerrada.

Recomendable para familias

Es una opción ideal familias. Para acceder a playa o al pueblo hay que ir en coche. Habitación amplia con cocina. Piscina interior y exterior. Gimnasio. Lo peor el desayuno con bollería solo industrial. Tienen también cafetería. Hay entretenimiento infantil en temporada alta. Zona para niños pequeños.

el colmo de la falta de servicio

El colmo del mal servicio. En resumen, somos 4, llegamos para un puente un sábado.
Armario lleno de polvo
Nos ponen un cuarto con dos camas separadas, y prácticamente nos regañan por querer cambiar.
Tuvimos que preparar nosotros la cama de los niños.
Sólo hay agua caliente para una persona (10 litros), nos ofrecen a las 0h30 ir a ducharnos a la piscina
Lo que tres de nosotros, tuvimos que hacer el día siguiente. Que remedio!!
Luego organización. Uno toma ducha antes de la cena, dos bajan a la piscina, y despues de la cena, hay de nuevo agua caliente para una persona. Que os parece!!
Piscina fría aunque instalaciones buenas. Que pena!!
Gimnasio sin pesas ni cardio (que funcione)
Y ya para el final, volvemos a la habitación, y no está preparada. Nos dicen que es normal, pues los domingo, no hay limpieza!!!Lo jamás visto!!
Así que desde luego no entiendo los comentarios de otros. Por que viajo mucho, y esto, no lo he visto jamás!!!
Y tampoco el personal que explica que todo eso es normal!! No se en que escuela de hostelería han estudiado.
