Location was excellent. It was in a very quiet area but also very close to all the main attractions only a short walk so that was superb. The room itself was very large and very comfortable and very well appointed the breakfast was a bit limited and could do with a bit more variety.

(1) Home made breakfast - healthy and delicious. (2) Clean room but one with balcony is tiny. (3) Room was just painted with strong smell but the window had to be closed as outside street is very noisy. (4) Friendly provided a simple breakfast bag in previous evening but orange juice bottle was not from store but refilled by hotel as the bottle cap was loose to leak into the fridge (to be more exactly, we ordered twice with day1 perfect but the day2 with loose cap juice bottle). Overall it is a good stay but still some room to improve, specially it is considered as 4-stars. Even with multiple issue, I still rated with high score and expected and encourage their improvement.

Very clean, wonderful location, helpful staff. The only little downside was the noise - you sleep just about ten feet separated by one wall from the bustling walking street right outside. There were barking dogs and children and t many voices right near my head until about 11 pm. Other than that it’s gorgeous!

It was a great location. The apartment had very comfortable beds, robes and slippers plus a great little kitchenette. We too advantage of the spa services. Our unit was bright and airy on a quiet little street. Highly recommended.

Great location, a 5 minute walk in to the old town and much quieter. It is a small room, so if you are a large person, it would be uncomfortable. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was included, however, make sure if it is a Croatian holiday, that you find out IF and when breakfast is available….they did not inform us and we received no credit nor voucher for the holiday for breakfast.

Buddhist themed “hotel” with books for purchase and crystals at reception desk and Buddism reading material in room. It’s not really hotel style. They have 3-4 house that they have broken up into very nice apartments that are very clean. The reception desk is open all day, but it’s not in the building where everyone gets to stay. Our apt was about a football field 30 house away from the reception desk down an alley with lots of graffiti that was very dark and unsettling at night when walking home. The apartments have a main door that each guest is supposed to keep locked, but not everyone does. One in the apt, it is a refuge that makes you forget about outside because it is very white and clean. Bed was like a futon mattress- firm. You have to drive through a graffiti-laden part of the city to get to the section where you enter this part of the old town. So, you’re only about 2 blocks from the normal city. About 2 blocks before you feel you’re in Old town when you walk there. 15 minute walk to nice harbor area

Our stay at Apartment no 6 was wonderful, the apartment house was well located for access to Split centre in a matter of minutes, yet secluded enough to provide an oasis of calm away from the vibrant streets of the town centre.
The room was large and well appointed with a good size fridge for mini bar that allowed plenty of room for other shop bought items. Wardrobe space was good with plenty of room for the contents of a mid size suitcase and two carry ons, with room to spare.
There was a Nespresso machine and a variety of specialty teas and coffee capsules including decaf that were refreshed daily if used.
Although there was a television in the room, we did not use it.
The bed was large and comfortable, and with a dedicated air conditioning unit in the room and the peaceful location made for a great nights sleep. I am easily disturbed by noise at night and did not have to wear earplugs at all except for a night when there was a storm.
The room was well insulated from other guests in the apartments in the house, with the only noise heard being the occasional comings and going’s down the stairwell.
Bathroom was clean, with high quality fixtures and fittings. Water pressure was excellent as was temperature control of taps and shower/bath mixer.
This room did have a small balcony, but there is no view as it looks onto the back of other buildings that had a rustic aesthetic.
Breakfast was a short walk away at Bajamonti, and was a set menu, coffee, OJ, and two items.

This is a really lovely place to stay in Split if you appreciate smaller boutique properties. The rooms are spread across multiple buildings in a quiet part of the city which is only 5 minutes walk to the centre.

The Divota Apartment Hotel was perfect for our stay. We had a comfort double with balcony room. The room was very clean and the room service was excellent. There was a fridge of a decent size and both kettle and nespresso coffee maker, perfect for a quality coffee in the mornings. The bath/shower combo was of a good size with room to move, unlike some other European hotels I’ve stayed in. The bed was both large and comfortable.The balcony was a lovely size, a perfect place to relax after along day sightseeing. The reception staff were very helpful and gave lots of tips on places to visit and how to get there, we would definitely recommend a trip to Trogir via the Bura line ferry for 7euros pp each way. The breakfast was in a restaurant not attached to the hotel, it is only a few minutes walk away, and was excellent.
My only complaints were that the bed was a bit too low, the balcony furniture could have been a bit bigger/more comfortable and I could not use the door key system at all, luckily my partner could.
Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

An excellent property, 10 minutes walk to the old town with its cafes and beautiful seafront. The rooms were a good size and equipped with modern facilities.
The only thing is that it had NO elevator and the reception is about 100 meters from the rooms. Guests with mobility issues need to be aware. The hotel staff were excellent with helping us with our luggage

The room was very well appointed and immaculately clean. The staff was beyond helpful. They went so far as to move one of their cars from the public parking lot as the day we arrived was the Patron St. Sveti Duje's festival and the city was overrun with festival goers. Amazing and appreciated!!!

Our flight was delayed and the lady stayed up in reception to greet us and then helped us book ferry and walked us to the apartment which was hugely helpful as it was dark.
The apartment we had was fab we were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. Everything was perfect shame we only stayed for a few hours before departing to Korčula.

Divota was great in every way. It is a perfect location and a very short walk to the old town and also the Marjan Park. It is nice and peaceful day and night with a yoga garden to relax in. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The treatments were also very good and we really enjoyed our stay here whilst visiting the interesting city of Split. Perfect! Friendly, thoughtful greeting .. what a great team! Spotlessly clean, fresh bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent, comfortable beds and quiet air-con. I had a little difficulty getting the water temperature right in my shower but my friends encountered no problems in theirs, so it must have been me. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting out in the sweet little courtyard. I highly recommend and hope to stay again one day...

We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was amazing since my husband wasn't well during our stay and we had to spend a lot more time in the room than we intended. The room was spacious and modern. We stayed in unit 902 - Dalmatian house. It is further away from the main house in the alley where stray cats pee and poop thus horrible stench with two houses in complete ruins in front of it. Not an ideal location or view for a vacation. The house itself was tiny with slanted ceilings, so if you are tall, you will be hitting your head in the bathroom and by the bed as we did. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent - either too hot or too cold. The room was barely big enough to get around the bed for 2 people. We loved Split, but I will stay elsewhere next time we visit it.

We had a lovely comfortable room with a queensized bed and excellent air con. It wa an unexpected bonus to have a bath (as well as shower). There was a good buffet for breakfast and hot food was cooked freshly to order. Staff were really helpful. A birthday card and chocolate was a lovely touch!

Short stroll to town. Pretty quiet overnight. Room 102 has nice balcony. A/C effective. Easy walk ( 2 mins ) to breakfast in a nearby building, and an excellent breakfast it was too, might be annoying if it's raining. Good value.

However stairs were a little tight and winding, so may be difficult for less able people.and there was a balcony, which could be accessed by a hatch and loft ladder, so we did not use tbis, as not easily accessible.
However, don't let this put you off, as overall a very nice hotel.

We had a slightly stressful arrival when trying to park in the area as the street where the check in was located was a dead end. It would have been nice to have been told ahead of time the best place to park. That being said the check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was located on a lovely stone paved street/alley which added to the charm. The studio apsrtment was very clean and well ewuipped. The bed was a little hard for my comfort. The breakfast and location of breakfast room was lovely. My only regret was the fact we only had booked one night. I would recommend a stay here. One last thing, the location was excellent, near old town Split.

Close to old city no issues except that out of almost 1000 TV channels I could only find two in English that were watchable. We had a little rain and some time in the room so a little tv would have been good. Staff gave conflicting reasons and did not solve the problem. Otherwise the place was great.

Kninska street is surrounded with the pedestrian zone on the one side, and motor traffic zone on the other, so there is a city parking lot and a taxi stop nearby. The Diocletian's Palace is in 3 minutes walking distance with Marmontova street, which ends on Riva, just a minute away.
The neighborhood is very quiet and calm, especially at night, unlike the Old city core with its numerous bars that run late into night. The outer walls are 50cm thick which provides a solid sound and temperature isolation.
