Rooms are decently maintained. There seemed to be a constant smell in the bathroom which needs to looked at. Food was excellent. Staff was very courteous. Overall, this is a decent place to stay.

Best one for solo business travel

It's a very nice stay if you are travelling alone, the property is well maintained, staff are courteous but if you are travelling with Family you need to go for their biggest possible room.

The normal ones are extremely small and difficult for 2 people to stay for days. I understand the room size to an extent but the bathrooms are so small

Hotel staff is VERY helpful. Also accommodated me on a billing issue that wasn't their problem but my own, but still helped me out. Breakfast buffet is well worth the price. I also got the half-board and used it one night of my three: you choose items from a five course meal and it was excellent food.

How is this a reputed brand?

Room needs fresh air as it smells mushy. Strangers wake you at random hours. Towels were missing and bedsheets and pillow covers were not changed. Worst part … they don’t care as they will still earn due to location. Sad but will not stay at Ibis brand going forward.

The sheets were dirty, the TV didn’t work, the room was hot. When I called the reception or room service, no one picked up. Took multiple attempts to get someone on the line. The breakfast was quite sad too. Would definitely not stay there again.

The location is terrible. Coming from the airport one has to take a long route beyond the hotel and drive back or as my cab driver did rusk life and limb on the wrong side. The gate can only be reached through slush. The receptionist can’t cope with group arrivals and other guests get delayed. The bar service is very poor with inexperienced staff and poor attention to cleanliness

Bathrooms made of plastic of the size you get in an airport. Queen size bed is just a bigger single bed. Pathetic restaurant food. They send you wooden spoons and aluminium foil containers if you ask for room service. Even an oyo or a budget hotel is better. Location is next to a big traffic signal with major traffic jams so hard to get a ola/uber from there. Strictly avoid.

Staff are very helping and pleasing. Rooms are a bit small. Been told its a standard size worldwide. Room service trays lay outside for hrs. And overnite. I guess lack of supervision. Food in the restaurant is great. A single queensize bed strangely has two matresses which gets pulled apart during the sleep. Other than these overall stay and hotel are good. Good value for money. It is definitely a budget hotel.

Very cosy and comfortable hotel. Service stands out. We were impressed by the hotel staff especially Soubhagya who was very hospitable and very professional in his approach. Although the surrounding area around the hotel is not very good due to construction activity,once you are inside the hotel you come across good ambience and cosy feeling. Oveall a good place to stay.

Nice hotel for an overnight or couple of days stay

It's a nice hotel for a stay of a day or two. Nicely cleaned room, very friendly staffs and good breakfast buffet. However it may not be a good choice for an extended stay with your family. I stayed here for 11 days with my wife and 3 year old kid. Its room is a little small for a family of three for an extended stay with no balcony.

...but, due to current metro construction, finding the approach can be a challenge.
The lobby is in the 2nd floor and the elevators are programmed to stop at the lobby; the wait for the elevator can be ~5 mins (I'm not kidding).
Clean towels & upholstery
The bathroom gives you the space travel experience (size wise)

Decent hotel, value for money

On the positive side the hotel, the staff, the rooms were all good.
On the negative side, the bed was squeaky and there was the infernal noise of the Bangalore metro works going on right outside the hotel which went on through the night. I know this is not the hotels fault but they could have notified guests who booked over that period.

A hotel which has potential but fails to impress

1. The shower jet in the toilet was falling apart and i had fix it.

2. The elevator button was broken which is a shock

3. Food served in the restaurant was of poor standard and only after escalation they changed the item.

4. Breakfast was the only redeeming factor of the stay.

5. Small room and very small toilet , not an ideal stay for someone who is claustrophobic.

6. Don't go to the hotel for an experience , you wont get it .....

Because the hotel is on a major highway, it is easy to find. Room was quiet and comfortable and front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant has a wide selection of items on the menu.
Hotel could use its staff a little better. There were plenty of managers/staff at the front desk, but not enough at the restaurant.

I stayed at the hotel in April 2017 as I went to watch a couple IPL matches at Bangalore. The hotel is really far from the stadium and an uber would take up to an hour to get to the stadium due to the crazy traffic. However, the hotel is a nice place to stay at if you are just going to use it to sleep at night. The hotel staff are all amazing and always ready to help. The UB City mall is an amazing place to go and see and is located near the Bangalore cricket stadium. And if you do have a day to spare then visiting the Mysore Palace would be a good idea.

Pay the extra 10 dollars a night

Check-in took well over 20 minutes for no particular reason. Staff called room at midnight to inform me I used a debit instead of a credit for room charge, not sure why, or why this couldn't wait till morning. King bed was actually two twin beds pushed together with large crease down the middle. Food was expensive. It was also 2 hours from airport due to high traffic. I highly recommend spending the extra 10 dollars a night to actually enjoy your stay in Bangalore.

We were refused check in due to 'not enough proof of indentity documents' although full payment was made through internet booking website at 11pm in the evening with tired and sleepy children aged below 8yo. We had to find lodgings elsewhere. No refunds was offered. Very unhelpful reception manager named Chetam.
