Μείναμε στο δωμάτιο του Art Pythia Hotel 2 βραδυα. Αυτο που παρατηρησα ηταν μια ασχημη μυρωδιά που υπήρχε μέσα στο δωμάτιο κάθε φορά που μπέναμε μετά απο ώρες που λείπαμε. Νομίζω η μυρωδιά οφειλόταν σε κατι σχετικό με το μπάνιο, αλλα δε γνωρίζω σίγουρα. Υπήρχε ζεστό νερό, πετσέτες σκληρές στην υφή, το στρώμα αρκετά σκληρό-παλιό θα ελεγα-. Επίσης κάλο θα ήταν να υπάρχει δευτερο ατομο στο σερβις γιατι η κοπέλα που μας εξυπηρετουσε στο πρωινό ηταν ολομόναχη και κανείς δεν ερχόταν να την βοηθήσει. Παρεπιπτόντως ήταν και η πιο ευγενική εκει μέσα. Ωραία θέα κατα τα αλλα. Οικονομική λύση εαν δε σε ενδιαφέρει να μείνεις πολύ μέσα στο δωματιο. Ευχαριστούμε για την φιλοξενία!

Room with a view

The Pythia Hotel is ideally located in the centre of town where you can find plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops. It's also a 5 minutes walk from the Delphi ruins main site.

The hotel is a 1 star so it's basic but clean and comfortable. If you opt for a room with a view, you won't be disappointed as the view down the valley is magnificent.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. One day the AC failed and they assisted us immediately eventhough it was late at night. Another thing we liked about the hotel was the location. It is really close to Delphi Ancient ruins.

The down side was that the hotel is in decadence. It’s like no one cares about the facilities status. Seems there is no maintenance. Looks like this hotel can use some love and care to put it back in play ;)

Service was lacking, property was a mess. I would leave room early in morning, come back mid/late afternoon and room not cleaned and cleaners wanting to come in while I’m there. Unfortunate as I love Delphi, second time visiting.

Art Pythia is a lovely small hotel within 100m of the bus stop. It was convenient to access all areas of Delphi and the rooms overlook the cliffs with no building blocking it. Breakfast was fairly simple, but included in our booking (there was cheese, meats, yogurts and cereals with bread). The only true downside was the noise from some renovations they were doing in the rooms and in the cafe, however if they are doing renovations it will ultimately be a positive way to make the hotel better.

Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Location great as very close to bus stop and within walking distance to the archioogical sites as well as area restaurants. Only problem was they don’t turn on hot water heater early in am so you have to remember to ask if you have early departure. Excellent value. Would strongly recommend.

Fabulous stay

Had a fabulous couple of days at this hotel wish I could have stayed longer. The view of the mountains were simply stunning. Location was perfect for exploring the sanctuary, museum and temple complex. Also really handy for the bus stop. Only one disappointment was that the hotel cafe was not open. However there are loads of small eating places within a few minutes walk and the complementary breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for a day of exploring. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom while small was more than adequate. If you are looking for 5star accommodation give Delphi a miss however, if you are looking for greek hospitality then this hotel is definitely worth a visit.

Overnight in Delphi by bus

Chosen as near bus stop for Athens and reasonably priced. Room had terrific view of valley and a small balcony. Rooms in back looked dull and no view. Hotel bit dated and old fashioned but staff very friendly and helpful . Bathrooms the smallest ever...never seen a loo at such a weird angle right up against the door. Good value all the same and handy for all local stuff in Delphi.

Views to die for.

Delphi clings to the side of a mountain so the views from this hotel are incredible. My room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was as expected. Easy parking in the street outside. Easy stroll to sites. Very good cafés and restaurants just across the road. Trinket shops equally handy. Great place to stay in Delphi.

The Oracle at Delphi

I arrived two nights after my 3-night booking. It was 9:30 pm. There was no one at reception. However, there was a handwritten notice with a telephone number. I telephoned the number and I talked to a very helpful man. He came down in 5 minutes and gave me the room key very quickly. He did ask to see my Greek ID card. He asked me: Is the room paid for? I assured him it was. He also asked if I would like breakfast. I declined, saying I was leaving with the early bus at 5:30 am for Athens. He showed me the lift to my 3rd floor room. The room was excellent. I poped out to the restaurant doubling up as bus station. They assured me there would be available seats for the first bus of the day. However, there were no seats left for the 11 am bus. Perhaps there would be some seats in the 4 pm bus, though.
I woke up early at 4:30 am. There was no hot water at this time, I had to have a cold shower that woke me up completely. I went down at reception. Nobody there. I left my key on the desk, and went out. The hotel had plenty of rooms but it seemed empty. I walked the few metres to the bus stop.The bus came at 5:50. After an uneventful journey, I arrived at Athens at 9 am.
I think the hotel was more than adequate for a couple of nights stay at Delphi. I wish I had more time to stay one more night. But I did not want to compromise the rest of my schedule. In retrospect, I should have stayed for the extra day. I wasted more time later anyway, in less pleasant surroundings!

Pythia? How about an oracle?

The hotel where we stayed was not the one we had reserved. When we arrived, there was a note taped to the door that said, \"you have been upgraded to the Delphi Palace,\" and so we had to go to a totally different hotel, outside the village. Nicely designed, interesting and all, but NOT the one we booked for. The Pythia Hotel must be closed and the people did not seem to care. And this made our guide who is Greek and tried as much as possible to provide us with the best possible excursion feel extremely embarrassed. Some people in Greece, even unemployed and totally broke, try hard to make Greece available with reasonable expectations. And then you have those two hotel owners who simply don't care. Shame on them. Too bad the location is so unique. You will just stay elsewhere...

Σπασμένος νιπτήρας, σκόνη παντού , μοκέτες φθαρμένες και σκισμένες, παλιά παπλώματα και με ακαθαρσίες, τα έπιπλα παλιά, το τηλέφωνο ούτε να το αγγίζεις, η τηλεόραση επάνω σε μια ψηλή ντουλάπα όπου δεν έβλεπες, οι μπαλκονόπορτες φθαρμένες και ξεφτισμένο το χρώμα, στο δωρεάν πρωινό δεν υπήρχε κάτι ζεστό μαγειρεμένο! Ένα αυγό, μιά ομελέτα, ένα τοστάκι. Όλα τυποποιημένα και απο συσκευασμένα. Το δωρεάν πάρκινγκ δεν υφίσταται...απλά όπου βρείς σε όποιο δρόμο και εάν βρείς... κτλ κτλ για να μήν σας κουράζω.
Στα θετικά η θέα ήταν υπέροχη !!!

Very friendly and courteous staff, spacious rooms and excellent café by the reception. It's a shame that the maintenance of the room and building in general didn't match the former. Bathrooms could also do with more fittings for hanging towels. Balkonies, french doors and blinds in need of a total make up.
It's a shame because this is a cracking location with huge potential.

Δεν υπήρχε δωρεάν πάρκινγκ όπως αναφερόταν στις παροχές όταν έκανα την κράτηση! Τα σεντόνια και οι πετσέτες δεν αλλάχτηκαν ούτε μία φορά στις 3 διανυκτερεύσεις όπως επίσης δεν καθαρίστηκε το δωμάτιο!

Hotel di qualità media. Pulizia non eccezionale: le coperte erano macchiate; il bagno sostanzialmente pulito, ma con tenda della doccia sporca e senza doccia schiuma; infine, sul pavimento è
era presente una moquette, che di per sé non allude a pulizia profonda. La colazione a buffet, di tipo continentale, era abbastanza varia, ma disponeva solo di caffè solubile. Nota negativa: gli addetti alla colazione fissavano gli ospiti, mettendoli a disagio. Infine, difficile parcheggiare (ma vale per l'intero abitato) e camera senza vista, che invece è eccezionale.

별로 좋이 않는 선택

델포이 사 꼭데기에 자리 잡고 있고 유적과는 걸어서 7분 거리에 있는 호텔이라서 선택을 했는데 다른 지역에서 머물고 유적만 방문 할 것을 하고 후회하고 있습니다. 또 호텔이 버스 정류장 바로 앞이라 새벽부터 저녁까지 소음이 끝나지 않았습니다. 시설은 한국 시골집 한 60년 된 것을 생각하시면 정확할 것 같습니다. 델포이 근처도 딱히 할 것도 없고 유적만 갈 것이면 굳이 그속에서 숙박을 할 이유는 없을 것 같고 그렇게 하지 않으시는 것이 옳은 선택이라고 봅니다.

Von außen macht das Hotel einen passablen Eindruck der sich jedoch drinnen nach Betreten der Flure und des Zimmers schnell verflüchtigte. Abgenutzte fleckige Teppichböden und deutl. Schimmel in Bad und Zimmeranteilen. Bett und Bettabdeckung waren sauber- wurden aber während des Aufenthaltes nicht mehr gemacht.

Les chambres côté rue ont une vue magnifique sur la montagne.
La rue est calme.
Le site de Delphes est à 200 mètres.

Hotel situé a 500m des ruines de Delphes et directement à côté de l'arrêt de bus. Personnel super acceuillant et disponible pour ré pondre à nos questions. Déjeuner avec des pâtisseries maisons excellantes. Prix très bas pour la qualité du services reçut.

Good view when you have a room with Seaview.

When we wanted to check-in there was a problem with our room. We could leave our luggage there and got some food while waiting for the problem to be solved. The staff couldn't fix it so they booked us a room in another hotel and it was an upgrade. Now we had 4 stars and even a swimming pool. I can't tell about the rooms but the service was absolutely excellent!

Bon emplacement, bon accueil mais calme non assuré

Très bon accueil, chambre confortable , belle vue sur vallée et mer lointaine , accès facile aux sites. L'accueil de groupes de jeunes vacanciers et l'animation extérieure du restaurant juste en face perturbe un peu le silence mais sans prolongation trop tardive.

Отель наберегу моря

Нужен был отель недалеко от аэропорта чтоб рано утром можно было после завтрака ехать сразу в аэропорт, а не стоять в пробках, поэтому забронировал этот отель. Отель располагает своей бесплатной парковкой рядом с отелем, что отель было удобно. Заселение быстрое, откопировав мой паспорт мне сразу были вручены ключи от номера вместе с пультом от телевизора и пультом от кондиционера. Номер чистый и удобный, хоть и очень маленький. Ванная комната, тоже не очень большая, душ оригинальный но неудобный, напор воды в душе очень слабый. В отеле работает быстрый вайфай. Наличие балкона я считаю очень удобно, но мой номер выходил к сожалению во двор, а не на море. В целом отель хороший и удобный.

O Hotel é antigo, embora os banheiros estejam todos reformados e em ótimo estado. Notamos, pelo serviço de quarto e pelos talheres/louça do café da manhã, que limpeza não é o forte do hotel. Também não há serviço de lavanderia nem no hotel, nem nas redondezas. No entanto, essas faltas foram recompensadas pela cordialidade e simpatia da equipe do hotel, que era pequena mas muito familiar e atenciosa. Também a excelente localização do hotel fez com que pudéssemos fazer os passeios ao Museu e também aos sítios arqueológicos totalmente a pé.

το δωματιο ειχε μουχλα στο ταβανι επισης το τηλεκοντρολ της τηλεορασης δεν δουλευε.. στο μπανιο το νερο ηταν μια κρυο μια ζεστο κ οι κοινοχρηστοι χωροι βρωμικοι..Αλλα η τοποθεσια του δωματιου ηταν καλη κ το πρωινο μετριο. επισης το προσωπικο ηταν πολυ ευγενικο...
