Be sure to use the E-Bikes !
This is a charming hotel just a bit up the hill from the maint town. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We absolutely loved using their e-bikes. They have four - but be sure to reserve them when you want to use. We took for two trips - one to Port Grimaud and the other to Cap Camarat - Pro Tip: Do NOT put in bike route on google maps for Cap Camarat - takes you down roads with gates - use the driving map for this one.

A mixed bag if I am honest - great reception from super friendly and helpful car valet guys . Reception team were ok - a bit cold if I am honest . Rooms are lovely but small - pool is fab and food, paryicularlu the Michelin star restaurant was superb, though again mixed service there ( I went a month before and it was superb) . Then at the end of my visit, super friendly reception staff gave us an extended checkout - thankyou . Overall very happy and will come again .

The hotel is placed 10 minutes’ walk from the city center in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel has a nice car with very nice drivers that takes you to/from the city center if you prefer not to walk.
The pool and restaurants are also very nice.

Originally booked one night . It was when we decided to stay a second night as we’re exhausted at end of our trip that service standards fell . No drinking water in the room on second day. no new bath materials , no shuttle service to beach , replacement towels only on asking. For an expensive stay, the quality of service was disappointing.

Overnight stop in Saint Tropez
Check in was very quick and efficient. We were shown to our room by reception and there is on site parking, which is very handy. Only a short walk, about 10 minutes, into the centre of Saint Tropez. We didn’t use the pool or eat in the restaurant but both looked lovely. Very nice property.

Well appointed room with occitane extras and generous bottles of Evian. Bistro had great service, wine list and excellent dinner. Less sure about the breakfast both in terms of service, choice and overall delivery for what it costs. Plus dreadful smell of cooking whilst trying to enjoy a refreshing breakfast. Given the time of year they could have done more in keeping with the festive season!!

La Bastide is a beautiful hotel with stunning gardens and a great location. Our room had a lovely garden patio which opened out to the pool. Staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was well kept.
We rather disappointed with the spa facilities (rather small and limited) and breakfast options,especially given the price of breakfast. The AC also didn't work although given the time of year this wasn't such a big problem.

Staff were lovely and polite, but there were not enough of them. They were stretched, esp. at breakfast. Very difficult to get served the first time, forget about a second cup of coffee.
Also, had to wait over 1 hour to get our luggage as the one porter had to do double duty running the shuttle into town.
Unfortunately, after arriving after a long journey, and waiting such a long time for our luggage, we were informed the hotel could not accomodate us for supper as they were fully booked and didn't hold back tables for their own guests. This was a very unpleasant surprise.

You can't walk anywhere! Rooms are cute & bed is comfortable. There is no coffee machine in the room! It's a very quiet hotel if you are looking to be away from the seen & relax ! There is a charge for everything !

Romantic chateau-like hotel perfect for couples
La Bastide de Saint Tropez was true perfection. They generously upgraded our room because it was our wedding anniversary. When we arrived to the gorgeous room, there were delicious snacks and wine waiting for us. The staff was very nice and helpful when I emailed them in advance asking them to make dinner reservations for us. The restaurant at the hotel was one of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to and the food was amazing. The hotel was also walking distance to the port which made everything very accessible to us. An amazing place overall. If you want to splurge, this is the place to do it.

Pas de bbq !! Hammam n’a pas toujours marché . Carte du restaurant tarifs non conforme avec la réservation internet . Petit déjeuner pas assez généreux . Pas de bar piscine t’en fonction au 11 mai .. tarif élevé du parking qui augmente chaque année !!!
