Arrived at advertised check-in time (1400h) - room was not ready until 1530h. Ate in hotel restaurant - food acceptable, but was given short measure of cognac. The basin waste pipe in the room had not been attached with a proper plumbing joint but had been glued together. During the first night the glue failed, and all water put into basin emptied onto the floor. Next morning I reported the fault and was promised another room by midday - returned at midday to be told that the fault had been repaired, but room was not ready until 1430h. On checkout I was presented with a bill for the entire amount due and no apology. Needless to say, I refused to pay for the first night and for the cognac. The only good thing I can say about this dreadful hotel is that the air-conditioning worked well. I would recommend travellers to use the Ibis which is nearby.

Good experience. Excellent refurbished rooms. Choice of buffet food not quite as comprehensive as usual. Little hiccup with the bill but it was sorted on our return a fortnight later.

Dans la salle de bain le radiateur avait une parti brule aussi que le plafonf, probleme transmis a l accueil, le salarié etait seul pour réceptionner deux hotels et servire en restaurant, bravo a lui car pas facile, inadmissible pour la societe , attente trop longue et repas froid

En France on ne peut plus dormir correctement, même pour 70 EUR, cet hotel ne fait pas exception .... Nous y avons juste \"passé la nuit\", mais certainement pas \"dormi\".

Hôtel conforme à la chaîne mais un peu vieillissant. Chambre propre et calme. Les formules \"Buffet\" n'existent plus au restaurant et c'est bien dommage.

Je passe régulièrement depuis plusieurs années dans cet hotel et je vois hélas une baisse de la qualité de service croissante surtout au niveau de la restauration .

En déplacement pro fréquent sur toute la France je passe bcp de mes soirées à l hotel …. Concernant. le campanile d avallon … c est un hôtel vétuste …. Les +… chambres spacieuses ´ la literie confortable …les - la restauration très basique , la douche complètement ouverte .. très désagréable

Séjours fantastique, seul bémols lors de notre commande de repas, il manquait un plat qui nous avez pas été donner, mais facturer quand-même.

Chambre fonctionnelle près de AVALLON et pas trop loin de VEZELAY. Nous êtions au rez de chaussée et le petit parc était à nous seuls le soir pour admirer les étoiles. Petit déjeuner trés correct pour le prix et personnel efficace.

Que dire c'est mieux que le 1ère classe en face mais ca ne casse pas des briques. Campanile a un réseau d'hôtel vieillissant celui-ci est dans la règle, vieux crépi aux murs confort spartiate. L avantage est d'avoir sa salle de bain et son wc. Bien pour une nuit en dépannage
