This hotel has everything. It’s walkable to old town, the room was beautiful. The pool and hot tub on the 7th floor with a poolside bar was an oasis in the middle of the city. Also, breakfast was delicious and there is a pool table in the library. They allowed us to check out and hang on the 7th floor until we had to leave for the airport which was a blessing since we had nowhere else to hang out until our flight.

The area is walking distance to the city center, but it’s covered in graffiti and a very different atmosphere than other areas. This hotel also only has one elevator which is very slow and would reset and skip our floor. The staff was extremely nice, but the hotel does not look as nice as the photos at all.

Blackout curtains and sound proofing were good. Breakfast was ok, continental as well as warm buffet. Garage parking available for a fee (unless you’re a Expedia VIP member). Only one and slow lift which is in need for an upgrade.

Stayed here while in Split. 15-20 min walk to old town which has cobblestone streets. Staff friendliness, professionalism, courtesy, 4 stars. Hotel itself 3 stars - room was nice size, safe in room, balcony nice with small table and 2 chairs. Good size closets. Breakfast included. Decent spread of cereals, breads, croissants, and hot foods.

Located within walking distance to old town, in a quiet area, but there are lots of high rise blocks of flats so isn't a pretty area. The roof top pool, hot tub and bar are really nice. The staff were friendly and professional and the room very comfortable. They need to throw away torn bath robes, as mine was dreadful. The transfer from the airport is good value and the driver was excellent company.

As an Expedia gold vip member I was guaranteed a Late check out. This was not honoured despite showing them the email confirming this. They were aggressive every time I mentioned this to them. Eventually they gave me an hour late check out after various discussions with them. I would rate this hotels facilities highly and their customer services terribly

Great hotel with excellent service. Staffs are friendly and polite especially Jelena. We accidentally poured half bottle of water on the bed around 11pm and Jelena helped us to replace another mattress so that we can have a good sleep that night. Hotel is 15 minutes walking to the old town and I notice this hotel is the meeting point of some excursions. Breakfast is good also and you can relax yourself in the outdoor pool on the top floor with jacuzzi and sea view. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Split instead of hotel in the old town unless you like noisy all the night.

Amazing pool and rooftop area
Amazing rooftop pool and hot tub overlooking Split. Nice chairs for sunbathing. The hotel reception and rooms are also really nice. Staff were helpful and accommodated late check in and late check out. We were able to use luggage storage room. The staff gave us a key card to use rooftop area after check out. It is within walking distance of the old town.

Fantastic hotel! Various choices at breakfast. Nice lounge/restaurant area. Wellness centre on rooftop. Gym very basic and limited but equipment in good condition. Nice pool area with amazing views and built in jacuzzis in the swimming pool. Had a full body massage which was superb and use of sauna. Spacious, clean, comfortable room and bathroom with view of city and sea. Service from all staff was great. Only slight negative was location - about 20 minute walk from any beaches and main town.

Visited for a week in September with my fiancé, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We spent lots of time at the pool, very pleasant bar staff and friendly hotel staff. Would recommend and would stay again! Room was also very clean and the bed was big and comfortable!

This Hotel seems to be an old hotel that has been renovated, and the renovations they’ve done are really nice, we really liked the room the service was really good and the advantage of a rooftop pool / bar area is a great bonus. The pool area doesn’t have many sunbeds so wouldn’t be my reccomendation if you wanted a tanning holiday. We used this as a good base within a 15 minute walk to Old Town, and within an hours drive of Krca National Park. We didn’t end up spending as much time as we would’ve liked to in the hotel but would recommend it if you’re on this kind of budget as it’s good value for money.

A fabulous hotel with very friendly staff. The rooftop pool is amazing and has amazing views and a beautiful spot to sit in the evening and watch the sunset. Beds are very comfortable and very large too. A little bit out from the marina but we used uber all the time and it's only around €2 into the main spot diocletian Palace. The fat boar just across the road does a fantastic burger and philly cheese steak and the staff here are brilliant also. Would definitely recommend dioklecijan Hotel.

Excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Pure luxury in our family suite with spectacular views of Split from the balcony. Lovely boutique like hotel in split. It’s only around £3 using Uber to get a taxi in to town which takes no longer than 5 minutes, don’t use the taxis offered by the hotel or you’ll pay 3x the price!
The hotel was limited on pool snacks but there is a shop next door you can buy crisps etc from just an FYI as this isn’t advertised.

We loved this hotel! It is stylish, clean, peaceful and, for us, the location was perfect!
A pleasant 15 minute walk to the beaches and sights, it was lovely after a meal in the busy town to walk back to the peaceful hotel even if it is slightly uphill! There are also lots of late night supermarkets very close by for a bit of last minute shopping, if needed.
The jewel in the crown of the hotel is the gorgeous roof-top pool and seating & bar area. With a fabulous view of the whole city it is perfect for a day’s sunbathing, or sitting in the shade with a book on the comfy sofas. The pool is gorgeous. Spotlessly clean and just heaven to sit in with a cold beer from the bar, after a day in the heat sightseeing!
The only downside for us was that the breakfast was disappointing. The buffet-style continental breakfast was plentiful but consisted of processed cheese slices and ham slices clearly from a plastic packet. This could be so much better as the local supermarkets are full of lovely fresh artisan cheese and ham which could be provided instead.
That said, we still thought this was a great hotel, we would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay there again if we come back to the fantastic city that is Split.

I can’t remember a more unwelcoming reception experience - think ‘Soviet Charm School’.
Reception area itself was nice, however the room (suite) itself continued the Eastern European theme with harsh, dated lighting, chocolate brown tatty curtains and net-type curtains as well. Beige and brown were the inspiration for the eighties-style furniture.
The bathroom, however, was very clean and modern, and the bed was large.
Breakfast was uninspiring, and the two staff on duty seemed overwhelmed. We didn’t bother returning the following morning. They also charged extra for espresso or an omelette. Unnecessary, I feel.
