A poor hotel with rude staff and the worst rooms in Prague when I go here I think of a prison room with no souls and no pictures and a television with only one Channel that works / overall hotel .com take this hotel off your offers it's awful and does not do u any favours

This hotel is very good. It is quite large and has a very nice restaurant and lobby. The room and breakfast was excellent as well. So, my only area of help will be in transportation. This hotel is very far out of the city center. There is a metro and bus station, but at no point will anyone be able to walk from the city center to the hotel. The metro/bus station can be reached by a short cut down a hill on a dirt path that takes less than 10 minutes. You will have to ask reception for the exact path. An uber would cost a minimum of 15 euro, however the metro runs until midnight and the bus is 24 hours. I hope that helps. I would glady stay here again, but if your only goal is the city center, please factor in that oppurtunity cost.

The hotel is off the beaten track but the metro ride to the city center is about 15 minutes. The check in is sharp at 15:00. Just behind the hotel there is a pleasant forest with marked routes. A chain supermarket is nearby, about 5 minutes walk

Sure the decor is stuck in the 80's but it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great,lots of options. Location is convenient, the metro is a few minutes walk away through the forest. Not well lit at night time though!
The only let down for the the hotel was the front desk staff. They were just not competent. When we arrived they had a child behind the front desk, we stayed 8 nights and they only programmed the room keys for 2 days at a time. Meaning constant returns to the desk. At one of these keys were programmed for completely the wrong room!

Hotel for Ukraine refugees

We used to like this hotel and had spent quite a few nights there over the period of the last 4 years. We particularly liked its location (close to the metro station), lots of parking spots and great breakfast.
Our last two visits didn´t meet our expectations. The hotel was transformed into a hostel for the Ukraine´s refugees. Even though we feel sorry for the people, their behavior was that of \"this is our place and we can do whatever we want\". It was difficult to explain to our kids that people shouldn´t take food and drinks out of the breakfast room for later when everybody around was stuffing their bags and backpacks. Unfortunately, this was our last stay at this hotel.

I booked this hotel as the venue provided by the event I was attending was a dorm and I thought this would be better. It was not sadly. Rooms were old, not terribly clean, wifi did not work so arranging rides was nearly impossible.so had to walk to venue each day. Staff was not terribly friendly either sorry to say.

As always great place away from the crowds but only 15-20 mins on the well connected metro, this time took my elderly wheelchair bound mum and the room given was a disabled room and was perfect , large wide doors and comfortable! The metro was well catered for wheelchair bound people was perfect !! The whole stay was just great and the hotel always is the best ! Thank you again for a great stay will definitely return !!

I stayed for a week and every time I needed some help the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast included which was a great bonus actually. The food variety was great: various kinds of sausages, ham, vegies, fruits, species, boiled eggs, omelette, porridge, various pastries (I really liked apple cake), etc. I also liked they had a very good coffee machine capable of making Cappuccino, Latte, Coffee with Milt and other kinds of drinks. I stayed at many hotels around the world, but very rare of them had good coffee machines like that. The room was spacious and clean. TV offered great variety of cable channels. Common areas were very clean and good maintained. I also liked green area behind the hotel. The hotel is close to supermarkets and it takes only few subway stations to get to the downtown which is very convenient. I give it 5 starts.

The hotel is due for renovation, the hallway was smokey and unpleasant smells in the room. The rooms are dark and carpets are stained. Beds were ok with clean sheets. Bathroom was also clean. No fridge or kettle in the room. However the hotel reception was helpful and gave us hot water and refrigerated our food for us. Location was a bit outside of the city centre with a 9min to the Metro station. However coming back in the dark was a bit dangerous if you were on your own as it’s poorly lit outside surrounded by forests. Good price for the room so can’t expect too much at the end of the day.

The hotel is a bit away from the city but the Metro is close which we thought was great. The room was pretty basic which was alright for us since we were in the room very little. The staff that checked us in was not the friendliest but they were helpful. The restaurant located behind the hotel is not a place you want to go to unless you only wants drinks. They forgot to put in our order so we waited a long time before we asked then after giving them the order again we were given half the order. It was late so we gave up and just didn't have much for dinner. Overall, I am undecided on if I would ever go back to this hotel or not.

Located next to Kunraticky Les, an area of beautiful open spaces and forests. Hotel is a 9 min walk to Roztyly metro station (Line C), however you may want to travel by taxi prior to checking in as walking there is very difficult to find and the pathway goes uphill which is extremely tough with or without luggage.

Staff are very helpful and so friendly and quite sociable. They really make sure that your stay is very enjoyable.

However I did find the mattresses quite hard to sleep on so I had to change beds in my room (there were three of them for single use) and the first one next to the bathroom was OK. I had a TV in my room which was really cool. very happy with that..

I stayed at two three star hotel during my stay in Prague. However, the difference between the two was vast. Breakfast had no variety. The cutlery didn't look clean. I had breakfast once and chose to skip it the second day. The hotel is in need of serious renovations. There are hardly any amenities in the room. No hairdryer. No mini-fridge. No kettle. No 110V adaptor. No power outlet near the bed for charging your phone. Also, no real closet, just a make-do book shelf. The shower was also very sad. This is more of a two-star hotel. Another thing to take note of, especially if you're a solo female traveler is that the route from the metro to the hotel at night is not well lit and almost abandoned. I didn't feel very safe.

There’s nothing to write home about with regards to this hotel. It’s as basic as anything. The room we had had just the bed and a TV with the basic TV listings. They could have raised the profile of their hotels but including fridge and some drinks at a charge. There’s nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night needing a drink of water!

If you are traveling with dogs then stay here. You can walk straight from the hotel into the woods behind it. Check the attached photo from our bedroom window. You can also walk through the woods to the tube station to take you into the wonderful city of Prague. The hotel was great value for money. Not just a reception and eating area as you find with many budget hotels but with a shop, hairdresser bars and restaurant. The breakfast was not brilliant but there was a reasonable selection so you would not go hungry. We stayed for three days in October and would love to return again sometime as we only scratched the surface of this incredible city. My only concern would be that the rooms might be a bit stuffy in very hot weather without AC, but I could be wrong.

Outskirts of Prague, easy parking, hotel is in nice quiet setting with basic (=no fridge, no toiletries) simple rooms which are very clean and comfortable. free wifi, TV and towels which you usually can't expect for the low price you pay at this hotel. Breakfast was included, tasty full hot buffet all you can eat style. Very friendly staff. Check in somewhat cumbersome due to having to present all passports etc. Overall GREAT value for the price you pay!

It was a good experience. My only issue is that there was no AC, but I think most of the hotel in Prague with this price have no IC. There is a beautiful park near the hotel that made me love the place! Also, it is close to underground station and tram, which makes the movement convenient. The hotel facilities were good, you just need to purchase shampoo, the staff were super nice and healful, the hotel offers good breakfast!!

Attack of the Worms

Our shower was infested with little black Worms. It's like it was Times Square down there, they were moving all around the shower floor. So nasty, but hey, they probably taste better than the breakfast the hotel serves.

Also the retro-Tube TV wasn't working so we couldn't watch the fantastic TV programs the Czech Republic has to offer.

Beds were ok, somewhere in between a plushy mattress and a hardwood floor. There were holes in the blankets, I don't even want to know what they were used for. (Again, it must be something less disgusting than the breakfast).

If you're looking for an authentic Eastern Block pre-USSR collapse experience, definitely hit up Hotel Globus.

We arrived at 1 pm, and had to wait for 2 hours for the rooms, cause check in time is very strict... Also I had no passport with me (it's at the embassy for the visa purpose) and it took us a while to make the staff accept a scan of it.

The reception area was very welcoming and there was always someone on duty that could speak English. Some staff were nicer than others. Breakfast room was spacious, light and airy, but I find the European breakfasts rather dull. Some fresh fruit, croissants, or bread toasting facilities would have been nice. Hotel restaurant was situated just outside back door. It was very good value for money and had a varied menu with an English translation. The rooms were clean and a good size, but our \"double\" bed was two singles pushed together and there were no drink-making facilities, which we found very disappointing.

The most terrible hotel I have ever stayed in.

Unfriendly staff. My 64yrs old mother fell down in front of the hotel due to very uneven pavement and no signs to help others be aware of theuneven sidewalks. My mom fell hard and split her lip open, bruised her face and shoulder, employee told her she should have been more carefull... My room was nightmare. Out of 5 electrical outlets only 1worked. Out of 2lamps one worked and soon after use blew circuit which scared mz yrs old to death. After my complaints, staff moved me to another room which they said technician checked however I had rusty water in the sink which wouldnt drain. Another broken shower head and TV did not work again. I would never stay here again nor suggest this place to anyone. I am shocked thiilits hotel actually is open to business. Owner needs to close the facility down and entirely rebuild. While speaking to the staff member at hotel Globus front desk in the evening about my bad experience, water was dripping down from their light fixture due to rain storm. Aweful and very sad hotel. Terrible experience. I would like my mone back and see this hotel undergo safety check and reconstruction for others safety.

The hotel offers a good deal for a decent price. Rooms are very basic but if you're lucky you get an amazing view of Prague by night from the balcony. Internet is not included in the price. There's a bit of a park around the hotel to go for a little walk. A very good restaurant just opposite the hotel. Breakfast is only okay, nothing special and not very healthy.

When we arrived, the staff did not have our reservation due to a communication error with the booking site. However, they did everything to make it right. The staff was extremely friendly, apologized throughout the process, and explained everything that happened as quickly as possible. The room was nice, basic but nice. When we went in, our light bulb was blown and someone came immediately and fixed it. Can't say enough about the friendly staff! Room was clean, good price for the money. No soap or shampoo, though, so bring your own. Also, we traveled with two toddlers and our room was adequately sized for them to run around and have fun.

Ich bin eigentlich gern hier im Hotel Globus in Prag. Es war immer ein beeindruckender Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt nahe der Metrostation Roztyly (rote Linie C). Das Hotel ist insgesamt sauber und man bekommt ein leckeres Frühstück. Zum Hotel gehört auch ein a-la-card Restaurant und eine Lobby Bar. Diesmal war ich allerdings in Parterre untergebracht. Na das Zimmer war hier auch im Großen und ganzen ok. Allerdings habe ich nachts im Bad mehrere Ameisen kennengelernt und im Zimmer waren Flugameisen unterwegs. Deshalb auch die Abwertung auf 3*ansonsten auch 4-5*. Auf eine Beschwerde habe ich bewusst verzichtet, da ich nur 2 Tage dort war. Habe bei der Abreise dann den Hinweis gegeben. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder, aber wenn möglich ohne eine größere Anzahl von Ameisen. Prag ist eine tolle Stadt und das Hotel Globus eigentlich top!

Hotel ligt aan eind van een woonwijk tussen de flats in. Wel mooi bos aan achterzijde. Matrassen waren slecht en gaten in de vloerbedekking op de kamer. Geen waterkoker op de kamer maar ook geen mogelijkheid om in hotel een kopje koffie uit een automaat te halen. Auto parkeren bij hotel, parkeergarage wordt afgebroken. Heel groot westfield winkelcentrum op loopafstand en metro station voor de deur werkt super alleen wel te bereiken via stijle helling. Voor weekendje Praag prima lokatie maar iets nettere kamers mag best.

Ich liebe dieses Hotel, es liegt etwas außerhalb, die U-Bahn und der Bus sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch das Hauseigene Restaurang liebe ich normalerweise.
Leider mußte ich diesmal feststellen, das ich bei der Kreditkartenzhahlung 2 x abgezockt wurde. Anstatt 92 Kronen wurden mir 98 Kronen berechnet, ist mir erst beim 2 x aufgefallen. Auch das Steak wurde mir diesmal tot durchgebraten serviert, leider habe ich bei der Bestellung nicht den Gargrat genau definiert. Passiert mir auch kein 2 mal. sonst war alles wie immer Super. Augen auf.

Es ist eigentlich mein Lieblingshotel in Prag, wenn da nicht dieser 100 % Wochend-Zuschlag wäre. Das Hotel hat leider keine Klima-Anlage. Ich war bei 30°C dort und mein Zimmer war nur bei geöffneten Fenster zu ertragen, was aber geht, da das Hotel ruhig am Wald liegt. Das Restaurang mit Biergarten ist im Haus, damit kann man nach Feierabend sein richtig gutes Bier in Ruhe genießen. Die Dusche ist super. Da Frühstücks-Buffet ist ok, wenn man rechtzeitig da ist. Leider wird es nicht immer gleichwertig aufgefüllt. Internet war diesmal OK, schön wenn man die Probleme endlich beseitigt hat. Personal ist super nett und freundlich. Für mich immer noch mein Favorit

Ein durchschnittliches Touristen Hotel. Leider keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Hotel liegt auf eine Anhöhe, d.h. von der nahen Metro Station geht es steil bergan. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden, kostenfrei. Beim Personal im Restaurant teilweise keine Englisch Kenntnisse.

Bei uns war es nur eine Zwischenstation , für eine Nacht . Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und es lief alles zügig . Das Zimmer war sehr sauber ,das einzige was gefehlt hat war ein kleiner Kühlschrank da wir Lebensmittel auf der Reise mit hatten. Ansonsten könnte man auch dort essen. Das Frühstück war für meine Geschmack sehr gut . Beauchen wir nochmal eine Übernachtung würde ich mich wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden.

Hotellen var fantastiskt, den dag vi var där fanns ingen varmvatten men ingen stor sak (en kall dusch i sommar lönnar sig 😃)

Bra hotell med mycket bra restaurang. Familjerummet var två rum så barnen fick ett eget rum. Passade perfekt för barnfamilj på genomresa. Nära till tunnelbana.

L'Hotel Globus é una struttura alberghiera abbastanza grande ed in periferia. Le stanze, sprovviste di aria condizionata, avrebbero bisogno di essere rimodernate. I letti però sono abbastanza comodi. La moquette della nostra stanza era macchiata in diversi punti ed il bagno era piccolo e senza la finestra (oltretutto sprovvisto di bidet e la doccia era con la tenda), la camera era sprovvista di cassaforte e di frigo bar. C'erano diverse crepe sul muro e soprattutto le tende della finestra non erano oscuranti, per cui di mattina entrava molta luce in camera. La colazione era abbondante ma internazionale e quindi senza cornetti e di dolce poco e niente. Il cambio degli asciugamani é avvenuto regolarmente ogni giorno. Il personale alla reception é stato mediamente gentile ma, se emerge un problema durante il vostro soggiorno, difficilmente ve lo risolvono. Da provare il ristorante Terrassa, interno alla struttura. L'Hotel é distante circa 300 m dalla fermata della metro, raggiungibile in circa 5 minuti tramite un viottolo in mezzo alla vegetazione. Prezzo del soggiorno conveniente rispetto alla media della città. Tutto sommato, ci siamo trovati bene e gli diamo la sufficienza.
