All the staff was helful ,
Clean and rooms are spaceful
The only things that needs to be adjusted is the soundproof doors and walls otherwise was all perfect .Breakfast was abundant and fresh .Restaurant excellent service , good quality and tasty food.
Coffee machines and snacks machine was availble too .

Its Adequate…

The hotel is what it reminds of my young days in the military; like a military style dorm type apartment… I figure this building was an apartment complex at one point and converted into a hotel… the doors are new but the decors inside the room is.. something.. At least it was clean and free of bugs..the stay was adequate I would say. Bathroom was usable.. otherwise if it weren’t a hasty trip decision, for €100 per night, theres other places that could be better. This hotel is near PQ?/Line 1 bus route (castiglione) so download the “ctm busfinder” app and buy tickets on the app, get on the bus and open the app on the ticket you bought and scan the qr code posted all over the bus..

We stayed for 4 nights at Residence Ulivi e Palme. We enjoyed it a lot. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was rich with choices, so every person was able to find something that would work for them. It is worth a 5-star rating.

Be aware of the restricted air conditioning

*Warning: They shut off the air conditioning from midnight until 1:00 PM. Unless you plan on traveling in the winter, or are comfortable sweating excessively while you sleep during the hot summer, do not book this hotel. We checked in late afternoon and went to our room to find it quite warm. We figured the room would cool once we turned on the AC / put our key card in the slot to indicate we were in the room, but it never did. We called the reception and complained and they said we should not touch the thermostat and that they can control the temperature via computer. However, the room never cooled. We went out for dinner, came back and it was still quite warm. At that point they offered to switch our room, but told us the air AC shuts off at midnight and turns on back again at 1PM so it wouldn’t make a difference. This is not what is advertised on the Hotels.com website. If you state that there is AC you would expect to be able to use it when we needed. The only positive thing out of the hotel was that the ladies in the breakfast area were quite friendly, as was the cleaning crew. The staff did change our room for the second night, when they determined that the AC was not functioning at all between 1PM and midnight. However, we still had to deal with no AC from midnight until we checked out, sweating through the night, loud traffic noise from keeping the windows open (plus the safety concern w/ our child). We could not sleep at all. Also, the hotel is in need of uprating.

Very bad experience

My wife and I booked 5 nights at the "Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme" in Cagliari and we were aware the booking was non refundable. Unfortunately my dad passed away and we had to travel abroad for the arrangements and the funeral. I contacted the hotel, a week before the check-in date and asked if due to the circumstances they could offer a refund or at least to amend the booking for a future dates. The hotel reply was prompt and without any sympathy was: "the booking is non refundable".They did not even spend a thought about it.
I then contacted Hotels.com, as I have booked the hotel thru then. The first thing they did was offer their condolences and sympathy and promptly told me that they would phone the hotel immediately and try to convince thelem to be more flexible. Again the "Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme" refused even to consider any amendments.
So my feedback for Hotels.com is 5 stars for their effort and consideration.
My feedback for the Hotel is based only on my experience in dealing with then and not on the premises and staff etc...
And therefore For the Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme my Feedback"Zero" Stars for the lack of consideration and flexibility, as an amendment would have meant both parts would not loose anything, but as it stands, only we have lost. It shows the lack of sensibility and how poor is the management. The Hotel may disagree as it's their right, but this will not change in anything my feelings about it.

First given room was so smelling of tobacco I couldn t stay 2 minutes in it so I was forced to ask for another. 2nd room A/C not working we had to open the windows and the noise from highway was so terrible we could not sleep at night. Hotel is also in old building and is Not all renovated, lots of rooms are super old and they are not conforming with photos shown on here.

I only stayed 1 night, arriving when it was already dark and leaving early morning. The location seemed somewhat off-centre, but down the road there was free street parking available.
It looked some works were going on at the property. The room and bathroom felt a bit old-fashioned but covered the basics and were clean.
The breakfast was ok, if not too many options - cold buffet where you could pick but the staff had to serve the food.
Overall no complaints and it did the trick for me though no deeper insights due to shortness of my stay.

Our experience in this hotel is overall great, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is excellent with great service, and helpful personal. The only thing that I didn't like so much, was that the room was a bit outdated. But the bed was great, we slept very good. The rest of the hotel looked renovated.

Easy stay just outside the center of Cagliari

We were lucky to book at this place as the entire city was pre-booked during the high season. The older gentleman at our checkin was very hospitable.
This hotel is part of a complex that was built some time ago but recently renovated. It is located on the fringe of the autoroute corridor and not many things to walk nearby except the bus that takes you to the center. We had a car during the day and parking was simple on the street.
Our room was well maintained and to our surprise there was a small yet useful kitchenette. Breakfast is served buffet style but you have to pay extra if you order a 2nd coffee.
Sadly we didn't get a chance to try the swimming pool. Having a car we would stay again at Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme

Reception accepts Italian drive license as document, but not European ones. Quite idiotic and annoying as we had to go and collect our passports.

Nice hotel would definitely recommend.

A little distance from the beach but very good bus service. The bus stop is just down the road and very frequent. We purchased a 7 days bus pass for £12 each for 4 of us. Total £48, it worth every penny you use it to ride the busses unlimited amount of time. Bus pass takes you to poetto beach and to the town. The hotel is a very nice three star . Do not expect 4 or 5 star but it's better than a 3star. Clean and nice staff. When I read the lovely reviews, I thought I better see for myself before I get excited. I alway review hotels I visited I have have left some bad reviews for the ones that deserve it and some very good ones for those that deserve it. I hope my review may help someone.

Really enjoyable stay, very big room with kitchen inside a wardrobe(hob, fridge etc). I was surprised; cooked food there as well as large supermarkets nearby.
Airport to hotel is about 18-20 Euros via taxi and 6-8 Euros to the shopping area.
Very friendly staff.

OK place but needs more!

This hotel is in a residential area. No points of interest nearby. The hotel advertises indoor pool however the pool has VERY limited access times. The rooms have no air-conditioning. The windows open outwards and has no screens (safety concern for young children and bugs into the room). The desk staff was nice. Parking is on the street.

Clean hotel with pleasant cleaning and restaurant staff. Desk staff, unfortunately, were not very helpful regarding answering questions regarding parking or laundry service. We were disappointed in the poor gym facilities. We do not plan to return to this hotel.

Sov över bara en natt. Satt fast toapapper på väggarna i badrummet när vi kom dit, påtalade det i receptionen och fick en axelryckning, ingen åtgärdade det. Bättre service vid frukostbuffén men frukosten i sig var undermålig. Mest sötsaker och äggen var sönderkokta/smakade gammalt. Ok sängar.

Wir waren hier nur für eine kurze Zeit, da wir spät abends gelandet sind und morgens weiter gezogen sind. Der checkin verlief einwandfrei, wir hatten ein kleines aber feines Zimmer, mit grellgrünem Bad. Der Balkon hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Es gab ein ausreichend großes Buffet zum Frühstück. In der Nachbarschaft kann man gut parken, das Hotel bietet auch überdachte und überwachte Parkplätze gegen Gebühr an. Die Anlage hat einen Tennisplatz.

Incrível. Apesar de ser um hotel um pouquinho distante do burburinho do centro de Cagliari, è perfeito porque é uma calmaria e tem muita opção de transporte e fácil acesso ao centro e às praias. Limpo, quartos de bom tamanho, banheiro excelente, café da manhã com muita variedade e pessoal super competente e organizado, tanto da recepção como da limpeza e atendimento no geral. Tem um restaurante nos andares de cima, que u não me lembro qual, que é uma delícia. A proprietária é um encanto, se eu não me engano se chama Michella, e é muito atenciosa. A comida uma delícia.

Nicht das modernste Hotel (Zimmer erinnerte ein wenig an Wohnheim), Frühstück ausreichend (jedoch nicht überwältigend), jedoch hatte mein recht großes Zimmer eine Kochnische. Wem es nicht um den Stil ankommt, sondern eher auf eine preiswerte und praktische Unterkunft ankommt, ist es eine gute Wahl. Es gibt in der Nähe eine Bushaltestelle mit Verbindung ins Zentrum .

Gute Anbindung in die Stadt die Bushaltestelle ist nur 300m entfernt. Es gibt einen Super Pan Supermarkt ca. 500m entfernt und einen Lidl der auch Sonntags gegeöffnet hat in 1.5km. Busfahrkarten können an der Rezeption gekauft werden. Frühstück gibt es von 7 bis 10.30 alle sind sehr freundlich.

Ich wünschte man hätte das Ameisenproblem in meinem Zimmer lösen können. Es wurde zwar was gesprayed aber keine Ahnung wie die überhaupt in den 6.Stock gekommen sind. Es gab auch Sojamilch für den Kaffee leider erhält aber jeder nur einen Kaffee pro PersonBusfahDa

El hotel es antiguo y me debió de tocar lo que no está renovado. El ruido de los conductos del aire y de la nevera eran infernales. Me puse los tapones de cera, sino no hubiera pegado ojo.

Fizemos ponto em Cagliari para conhecer as praias da ilha e foi um mega acerto. Perto do hotel, tem muito estacionamento de rua gratuito. Conseguimos deixar o carro tranquilamente. O quarto é grande e bastante confortável. O atendimento é incrível (especialmente os atendentes que trabalham no café da manhã). Café da manhã muito bem servido e incluso no preço. Super recomendo. Quando voltar a Cagliari, voltarei pra esse hotel.

The breakfast and cleaning personnel were very kind and friendly. But unfortunately almost all of the hotel receptionist (apart from two very kind gentlemen, one working morning August 6th and the other working the nightshift the same day) were extremely rude and far from customer friendly. We avoided asking for help or questions to a large extent due to this and it made the hotel experience quite bad. Hopefully this is something that the hotel will improve otherwise I would not recommend staying here!

Pequeno almoço não tem muita variedade. Mas efetivamente tem muita quantidade e as pessoas são bastante agradáveis e simpáticas.
Não é um Hotel para estar e gastar tempo, a piscina é interior e fecha cedo, não tem um bar/café para sentar e estar um bocado ao final de jantar.
É um hotel de passagem.
A qualidade das camas/w.c é baixa, serve para dormir, mas não tem muito conforto/qualidade.
Ou seja depende do objetivo.

Schönes Haus. Sehr nettes Personal. Liegt leider an einer Schnellstraße, die wir auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern gehört haben. Aufzüge waren ausgefallen. Meiner Rollstuhlfahrenden Frau wurde sehr nett geholfen. Frühstück war „in Ordnung“ bis auf die kalten Eier und nicht ganz frischen Brioche. Erster Kaffe war herausragend, die weiteren Bescheiden.

Ho soggiornato presso la stessa struttura tramite convenzione sportiva, in quel caso gli alloggi erano curati nella pulizia e nell'arredo. Questa volta, sono andato con la famiglia. La stanza era sporca, la mia lampada non funzionava, i letti mio e di mia moglie ballavano. Quelli dei moei figli, buttati in mezzo alla stanza sembravano ricattati dalle case degli studenti. Mi spiace, molto deluso.

La struttura si trova nei pressi dell’asse mediano di scorrimento, è facilmente raggiungibile, zona tranquilla e con disponibilità di parcheggi.

Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale! personale del ricevimento gentilissimo, il check in velocissimo, camera ampia, pulita e silenziosa. Bagno con tutto l'occorrente.
Partenza alle 06.00 con colazione gentilmente preparata dal portiere di notte con succo, ottimo croissant, biscotti e acqua.

Pequeno almoço muito fraco

Camas pequenas e desconfortáveis. Pouco atualizado o interior dos quartos. Não tem ar condicionado, apenas ventilação. A chave do quarto não funcionava com regularidade o que obrigou ir várias vezes à recepção. Muito desagradável o pequeno almoço, pouca escolha e a pressão dos funcionários que não permitem o self service.
