Great Cagliari Hotel

From the receptionist to the maître D in the breakfast area, to the servers in lounge, to the cleaning staff…everyone was friendly, helpful and warm. It was an excellent experience. Thank you to the staff of the Thotel in Cagliari Sardegna. The place was modern and beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

Decent hotel, location a bit far from centre

Nice hotel, a bit out of the way however, with very limited shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast had decent options, but it was a bit chaotic on the day I arrived as there was a big group, and no clean tables. I had a room on a high floor which had amazing views! Overall a good hotel and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at T-Hotel. The checkin was very efficient. We liked the sunken bar snack area. The staff there were very efficient and friendly.
A minor problem with the closet hinge was fixed quickly.
Parking across the street in underground parking was excellent.

The first thing I noticed was the attention to detail. You could tell that the room had been carefully planned. The bathroom was large. Everything was clean. We had a king size bed, which was a little hard but at home I have a soft mattress. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. The staff I found professional and helpful. The hotel was a little out of town but it was in such a quiet location. It had buses nearby.

We had a nice time with my friends staying at the hotel. We are greeted by the hotel staff upon check in with a big friendly smile and we feel welcomed. The hotel has a nice restaurant and the lady called Naomi is very patient and helps us with the menu as we would like to eat local Sardinian food. We enjoyed our food. Cagliari is very safe even to a solo traveler. The buses is only few minutes walk from the hotel. Few stops to the city center. Bus ticket can be purchased at the hotel reception.There is a nice park just across the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in UNAHOTELS T Hotel Cagliari a lot!
Hands down the best hotel in the city.

It's a bit away from noisy port and marina (about 20 min walk, or 5 min drive), and it's a huge advantage. Very easily accessible by car, near major highways, so no need to drive through narrow medieval streets of port area. And FREE PARKING!! with unlimited 24h access and exit.

Hotel itself is impeccably clean and amazingly well decorated. Great breakfast, too.

Stuff deserved special mentioning.Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
We had a chance to meet GM, Mr. Carmine Aiezza. He was very resourceful in helping us to feel very welcomed in the hotel.

Great receptionists. One of them, Klaudia, had recommended restaurants and made few reservations for us. All those restaurants turned out to be a culinary
experience of highest quality.

Hotel's SPA is another great feature.
Amazing bar, restaurant and outside lounge.

We'll definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

I loved the friendly staff in the hotel. Everybody was very accommodating and made my fiancé and myself feel extremely welcome. In particular Claudia was fantastic and her knowledge was helpful to organise tours and activities.
The staff were accommodating when upgrading room for us as we wanted our vacation to be special.
The hotel was well located and there was an extensive bus network which made it very convenient to travel around the city.

However I would say the breakfast buffet was poor. The selection was limited and the scrambled eggs were always served cold. The gym facilities were very basic and limited and I could not really see the need to even have one.
In a 4 star hotel I was surprised to find out that you had to pay an additional fee to use the pool.
The upgrade was also not free.

Overall I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Cagliari

Nice hotel and service with some imperfections

Lovely service from the staff and nice hotel! Amazing massage too and nice breakfast - it would be good for some more hot options for vegetarians maybe veggie sausages or something. The cleaning of the rooms was a bit poor, their was always hair in our room and bathroom that wasn’t ours and they never cleaned the mirrors. The bathrooms were a little mouldy on the tiles, so maybe just need a big deep clean but it didn’t ruin the stay, just be mindful of it. The restaurant food wasn’t very nice tbh, but the cocktails were yummy! Otherwise this was a really nice hotel and they were extremely helpful with all of our questions. I would recommend staying here even though it was 100% perfect!

Its a great property in the center of this city and is very well maintained. Service is very good and staff is friendly.

On the negative side, they charge extra for things that should be available as standard in a hotel of this type: 5 Euros/night for kettle in the room? extra charges for omelettes etc. in breakfast? pool renamed as \"spa\" and charged on a per hour basis??

Overall, a pleasant experience, but could have been better with a little more transparency about pricing.

We had a room roadside on the first night which, because we are not used to cities, we found too noisy to sleep. Reception was fantastic the next day and moved us to a quiet back room which was absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault the hotel.

Service at check-in & out was misleading & dishonest. It ruined our trip to Cagliari & having only just got engaged 2 days earlier in another part of Sardinia this was overshadowed.

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay in T Hotel. The hotel is very impressive upon arrival, and staff are very helpful in terms of explaining the facilities. We had paid a bit more for a higher up room which was a good investment with panoramic views across the City. The rooms and bathrooms are very well kitted out and all the facilities seemed clean. The buffet breakfast was nice, with a really broad selection. We intended to use the Spa but were disappointed that there was an extra charge for this (may be standard in Sardinia) - 25 Euro per person at the weekend and when we tried to book there was no space (so must be popular!). My only other minor criticism was the lighting in the bar area. We had a late drink in the bar after coming back from the City at about 11pm. The cocktails were great but the bar is too bright and gave the area the feel of an airport! Maybe switching off the ceiling lights would give the bar a much better ambiance? Only a minor issue though. Overall a great stay and we would return.

The T Hotel appears great in photos, but I don't plan to return. The bathroom provides limited privacy with semi-transparent shades. There was an odd smell in the room. While the bathroom looks nice, there are few flat surfaces to place anything. The bed was of average comfort. Pluses are the free parking. Location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the more desirable parts of town.

Amazing view from the upper floors as we had two nights of epic thunder and lightening storms. The walk to the shopping district is about 15 minutes and the harbor area another 5 minutes. Loads of restaurant options in those areas. The spa at T Hotel is spectacular and the massage service really great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Top notch.

We sat and wait 10 minutes and the guy at the bar just ignored us. So we left.
Restaurant food was not up to par and we didn’t finish our food.
We asked for beach towels and was told that is part of beach rentals and we would have to pay!

Our family of 3 had a fabulous stay at the T Hotel. The car park was across the road with a street level and basement level to park our rental car and plenty of available parking bays. Fabio introduced us to the main areas to visit in Cagliari and he and his colleagues on the reception desk assisted on several occasions in a professional manner. The room was spacious enough for the 3 of us with a king size bed and sofa bed. Our small complaint was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable - otherwise we would have rated the comfort 'very good'. The breakfast had a varied choice: cereals, several juices, several teas, coffee, several types of pastry, cooked breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, courgettes which were unfortunately not very palatable, bacon), several types of fruit, several types of bread and jams. We were fortunate to be served by Sabrina who was very caring and made a wonderful effort to ensure my daughter's allergies were catered for - thanks Sabrina ! Dinner was truly top class with a buffet of a high standard (raw and cooked seafood, other cooked dishes, several breads, fruit salad, desert platter). A special thanks to Gigi the maitre'd who had the best personality ensuring my 2 children were welcome. Gigi made sure that my daughter's allergies was catered for liaising with the most caring chef and sous chef I have met Damiano and Francesco. A special thanks to them for looking after us !

Within easy bus service of Cagliari city centre, T hotel provided a relaxing and comfortable stay. Whilst the room itself was small the bed was at least queen size and the bathroom facilities were excellent.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The amount of choice at breakfast was exceptional - especially if you like cake! Our favourite part was the aperitivo each evening which came with a chance to try typical Sardinian snacks. The water features, outside and in, were very restful.
It was a shame that the pool was extra - we only discovered this after we had booked but our experience was that there was plenty of availability. There is a tourist advisor on site: we found Jasmine really helpful.
Whilst it is not cheap ( you do as the cliché says, get what you pay for) we would certainly recommend T hotel.

Not great. I have never stayed in a hotel where there are no tea/coffee making facilities,and where you had to pay to use the pool. Breakfast room so small we couldn't get in on one day,and another day no coffee. The reception team were great however.

We stayed in a junior suite that had amazing panoramic views of the opera house and sea. We also had complimentary accesss to the spa which is a 90 minute session of various spa massages in a very hot pool. In rooms below a junior suite the spa needs to be paid for. The bed was big and comfortable and we are in the hotel restaurant one night and the food was really nice. The hotel is a little out of the centre, about 20 minutes, although there are some shops and restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. The walk is through very pretty residential streets so we enjoyed this and it wasn't a problem. Overall a great trip!

Nice hotel, convenient location

Great modern hotel easily accessible if you rent a car, and plan to spend most of your time exploring beaches around Cagliari. Facilities, designa and cleaningless are on spot. And breakfast is included!!! Only draw back was that the pool they publicize is not the one on the pictures. There is an indoor pool in the spa area but not an outdoors pool as I was counting on to chill with the kids after a full day in the beach.

Lovely hotel ,a bit out of the centre

This was a last minute holiday booking with my friend for a relaxing break. The hotel was a great option - staff speak English, nice lobby and restaurant area, there is a spa and pool but you have to book pool time and it's limited to about 30 mins a time, I think. The breakfast is great, we started each day with great meal. The room was clean and decent and a modern bathroom. We asked for a kettle so we could make tea and were charged for it! That would be my only criticism.

The hotel is more of a conference hotel (there were a few on while we were there) and it's about a 15 min walk into town, up a moderate hill. There are some restaurants close by - a very good pizza one which is always busy so make sure you book.

Out on a limb

Hotel really is a 25 minute walk from the town centre and in a heighbourhood that has little else to do or find places to eat. Hotel itself is fine as a big busines & tourism set up with friendly and helpful staff. It is not cheap and extras at the restaurant and bar add up.
