They were doing construction ,that's what the desk clerk says as to why the filth. I never stayed there it was to unclean for us. The clerk was nice and honest so I appreciate that.The pictures that Expedia has is a hoax . They attempted to give us a room with a door that leads to the next room with some kind of chair against it with advanced notice that there may be a lot going on with the neighbors but just stuck it up. They couldnot/would not refund me or referral to sister company. I called Expedia they couldn't /wouldn't help me said wait for a call back (so basically left me on the street) They never called me back with a solution ,never refunded the acct. Im from LosAngeles CA visiting West Virginia they didn't care if I didn't have a way to pay for stay somewhere else. I even paid for so called insurance. This really shocked me cause I trusted them.

The breakfast was awful and the coffee even in bold flavor was like water, the coffee pot in my room was filled with scum and dirt, the sink wouldn't drain water so it would stay filled for hours and their were hardly any plug ons to charge our phones..upon our checkout a member of the cleaning crew followed my son and stepson thru the hallways asking them questions they couldn't understand bc it wasn't English and then kept knocking on my door knowing myself and my toddler were in there packing! Horrible stay, horrible hotel and horrible housekeeping staff

PROS: hot shower, soft towels, shampoo smelled good, comfortable bed & pillows, a good amount of TV channels.

CONS: (room 115) water leaked on the floor when we showered, the mold in the shower and the mold/filth under the non-slip shower mat was appalling; coffee maker and microwave didn’t work; dirty walls (smeared brown substance down the wall next to the window side bed); very noisy through all hours of the night; front desk worker was sleeping at the desk when we got up in the morning for coffee.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was good, mattress needed changing. And the toliet needs a changing. Way to low to the floor. Would I stay there again. Yes, the price was right. We are only sleeping there, no morning buffet. Sleep and drive. Also in a good area. It's just down the street from our favourite restaurant. And easy access to the 79.

Room was very small, old. Window was plexiglass and could barely see out of it. Breakfast was not good. Simple, but the biscuits and gravy were awful.
I will say the hotel was very quiet. The ac was good and quiet. The bed was decent. There was no one at the front desk when we wanted to check out, along with another customer so we just left the card at the desk and left. ( she could have been in the bathroom for all we know) it was fine for the money but i wouldnt stay again

The phone was sticky and the bases of the nightstand lamps were sticky and dusty.

The towel bar at the vanity was broken and the pieces were in the armoire.

The plastic on the toilet seat was peeling.

The furniture was oily and you could see your handprint on it.

I took pictures to prove my statements.

Do not recommend at all.

The room was very small. Couldn’t even get the luggage cart in the room. The hot water in the shower wasn’t hit. The fridge didn’t work the first day or the second day. They did fix it on the 3 rd day. The back steps was totally gross, there was cigarette bud laying everywhere. I was there for 5days and they wasn’t touched or attempted to be clean, nor was the trash can or the trash every cleaned. And they charged me an extra $50.00 when I checked in after I had already paid online for the room!!!!! And it took forever to get it put back on my card!!!!! Nope nope nope. Not staying there again

Remove the name \"Quality\" as this location in Clarksburg/Bridgeport WV needs some cleaning & upgrades. Carpet down hallway & in room dirty looking and grimmy on barefoot. The room we had no room to move around. Dirty soiled sitting chair was blocking closet and was only space for it. Shower was old. I pd cash for my dog yet there is a pending $20 on my credit card as well as (2) $50 credit hold entries. Its not quite 24hrs but the dog & 1 $50 shouldnt even b there. And I dont know how many years or stays its been since I had 2put a \"credit hold\" on. WiFi was not working. And clerk was not aware until I asked for help as I never received a enter the password to sign in. Very limited TV channels and clerk wasnt sure who the provider was when I asked for channel listing. Another thing they dont have to offer. I did find one on the tv. On the positive note. Breakfast was fairly good w quite a few selections. I had ple ty of places to ealk my dog. There is an abundance of stores nearby and its right off I79

Would not recommend to casual travelers.

This hotel provides service to primarily contracted workers. I would not deem it family friendly. The hallways smelled like comit the whole time we were there. Staff was not friendly or attentive, my husband was ignored when he walked up to check in amd had to speak up to be acknowledged by the girl sitting behind the desk.

This place is dirty. Mold in the bathroom, the entire hallway smells like cigarettes, busted walls and leaks. The ceiling was leaking in my room. When I called the front desk, they told me they'd tell the manager but did not offer to switch us rooms or do anything to fix it. They didn't have coffee and breakfast was not great. The pool is in a fitness center in the building over and not in the hotel.

This location should not have a good rating, it’s misleading. Lots of trash around the parking lot and in the landscaping. The interior was disgusting. Patched, unpainted walls. Baseboards and stripping hanging off. The room was dirty. Remnants of shaved hair in the sink, stained sheets, smelled strongly of bleach. The mirrors were dirty. The vinyl flooring was sticky. I believe this was a motel that people lived in as well. Lots of men/boys hanging around outside smoking and carrying on. Just overall it was gross and not safe looking. I didn’t realize how dirty the interior was until I proceeded up the stairs to my room. The same with the parking lot and grounds until I was looking for a parking spot after checking in. I felt very uncomfortable staying there, but did because it was non refundable and there wasn’t another option. The night receptionist was not friendly and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The morning receptionist was friendly. I would never stay there again. There was nothing quality about it.

Our room was on the first floor was very dirty all around white bed sheets,pillow cases, blankets and towels were stained covered. All around very dirty.In the bathroom the toilet paper holder was broken off the wall hanging by a thread of the screw, the shower was covered in black slimmy mold or whatever it was all around the door area the shower head so when first turned on the shower there was black stuff all over the floor from coming off the shower head.Carpet looks like it hadn’t been vaccumed. When we first walked into hotel after checking in and parking the walls were just plastered white squares all over as if they were fixing or going to paint just very odd and unclean. Parking out around back end of hotel was very dark , quality inn sign light was out and garbage all over in the grass area on the hill type area behind us very trashy looking. We probably wouldn’t have stayed but it was late check in online Off Expedia app and after my son’s wrestling tournament. just needed a place to shower and rest for a few hours. I guess with the price paid 66.00 we get what we paid for but also very false advertisement to have pictures of a clean hotel updated but very outdated and dirty. The breakfast area was very small and tight with just our three family members getting orange juiceand yogurt but it was the cleanest part of our stay. Checkout was not as nice as check in person

The hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. The rooms were not clean. The tv looked like it had never been cleaned. In the morning tried to have a shower but no hot water at all! Went to the breakfast area and didn’t have anything because the person setting up the food was hacking and coughing all around the area. What a difference a year makes as we stayed there a year ago but have now marked it off list.

Allergic to cigarette smoke so it bothered her! The man who works at the desk is rude, takes advantage of older people who can’t understand him. Claimed that he didn’t tell my mom it would be a cash only deposit and that she got it back when we checked out but that wasn’t at all how it happened! Over all very bad experience and would not recommend anyone staying there!

This is the absolute worst hotel period. It all started at check in, the guy told us like 4 times that they didn't have an elevator as we were going to be on the 2nd floor and we responsed that was ok each time. His attitude was completely dismissive. We booked online and he didn't ask for the card until after my husband put it back in his wallet and said it was for a $50 security deposit, which we later see it could be held for several weeks. We go up to stairs, the walls had huge patched holes in numerous places. We get to the room and can barely get in the door due to too much furniture in the room. There was significant damage to one of the walls(we took pictures incase they teied to use our security deposit for the damage). The shower had mold and the door was so dirty you could barely see into the shower. The toilet paper had about 12 squares and no other rolls in the room. So we went to ask for some and the guy asked what. I said toilet paper and he went in the back brought 2 rolls and set on the counter and didn't say a single word. We went back up to the room and when we came down to go out for dinner, a guy was trying to come in the front door and we were trying to get out and the door wouldn't open(automatix door). When my husband turned around to say something to the clerk about the door, he laughed in his face and said
you fix it. We were eventually able to pry the door open ourselves. Bottom line this place is crap.

The late-night attendant was a friendly young man with notable language difficulty. He spoke and understood English but answered as though he were frustrated -- and his shift had just begun. The room had a faulty lock, was right next to the outside door, and the outside door had a faulty lock, too. No toilet tissue in the bathroom.

Disgusting. The room hadn’t been cleaned, there was a large wet spot on the bed that looked very suspicious. Front desk staff was aggressive and rude when this was pointed out. I left , was told I would get a refund, and will NEVER come back. The facilities in general were very concerning; I should have left before I even went into the room.

Our room was more than we expected for the price. The room was in fairly good condition as was the furniture and fixtures. It was clean and comfortable.

The only disappointing factor was the breakfast setup and choices. Having stayed at various Quality Inns within West Virginia, my husband and I were expecting a full range. Sadly, this was not the case. The choices offered, were poor. Additionally, the front desk personnel were expected to oversee the breakfast area ensuring that it was fully stocked and clean… which it was not.

To add to this, t ones were piled in the reception area for the duration of our stay.

I hate giving a bad review but this property definitely needs upgraded everywhere except with front desk staff who were very kind and helpful. First, our room key card lock was broken (and the 2nd room they tried to give us) so we had to have staff unlock our door with the master key everytime we wanted in to the room. Secondly, the door peep hole was broken and filled in with a tissue ( that hung out on the inside. In addition, the floors were dirty, the sink had short hairs all over in it (hoping a man shaved :/ ), one of the washcloths was crusty with brown stuff on it and the bedding had quite a few non-descript stains. The AC worked but had a terrible noise coming from it which sounded like someone breaking in through the window. On the good side, staff were friendly and breakfast was sufficient the first morning (we didn't stay through the night on the 2nd night).
