No lotion or conditioner in the rooms. Cannot get small ones or have it provided, so you have to pay for it. The rooms have shampoo and body wash, only. So you pay for a large bottle that isn't carry-on compliant, therefore it's wasted. It's not a great product at all, smells like sunscreen, but spending 90 pln then being forced to leave behind more than half is a rip off. Really need to offer these in carry on compliant sizes. For being a \"climate conscious\" hotel, forcing the waste of large plastic bottles for the sake of profit is quite a contradiction. No climate control in the room. Thankfully it was a chilly night, so we kept the window open to cool off the room. There were no wash cloths. Beds weren't great. Location was fantastic. Staff was great!

Pleasant time in the Fall

I have been to this hotel for a fourth time. This time, I finally decided to write a review. The place had a great location in terms of connectivity to other city neighborhoods via nearby tram and bus stops. The property is not too updated but the rooms serve the purpose well and the price paid seems very reasonable for what you get. The room had all the basic stuff needed. It was clean with a balcony overlooking a beautiful park which I enjoyed looking at and which also efficiently insulated the hotel from traffic noise. Although the room appeared not to be exceptionally well sound proofed, I did not hear laud noises from other guests even though there were many families with children around at that time. My impression was that the hotel clientele is rather mature and respectful to other guests. There is a swimming pool, spa and fitness area none of which I attended. The close proximity of the beach, parks and running paths made a runner like me so preoccupied with it, that I did not even have a desire to use those facilities. The breakfast was very good but bit on the expensive side. The biggest positive in my mind was the restaurant. The served food had some amazing taste combinations and there were also fantastic deserts. It was not expensive, the place not crowded and generally calm where one can peacefully sip a glass of wine in the evening. I loved it.

An okay hotel.

Carpets need updating as are old and stained. Other than that, a nice, comfortable room, comfortable beds.
Spa was overcrowded, there are 2 saunas and 1 steam room but all are small.
Breakfast was nice, but overpriced.
Overall, it was a nice hotel and good value for money off season.

I do not recommend!!!

One of my worst hotel stays. The air conditioning in the room did not work (temperature 30 degrees outside and stuffy). Plus, it smells musty. A dirty rag was left in the bathroom by houskeeping. The room is dirty. Please see this dirty chair with large stains (I don't want to think about what these stains are from anymore). After a long exchange of arguments about the stay with the reception and housekeepers and several requests to bring at least a fan, in the evening, while I was out of the room and had a \"do not disturb\" sign on the door, someone finally brought a fan that was old and made more noise than cold and wind. It is unacceptable that someone entered the room despite the \"do not disturb\" sign! What are the hotel standards in the Accor group? Despite so many inconveniences, no compensation was offered, and I was only instructed to submit an official complaint to the management.

Very nice hotel. Staff was excellent and they all spoke great English, which was very helpful for me. Room was nice and clean. Good sized bathroom as well. Breakfast was phenomenal. Had a great experience here. I hopefully get to come to Gdańsk again in the future, if so I know where I will be staying.

A long way from anywhere

Whilst this hotel is close to the beach there are no decent shops nearby and only a couple of reasonable places to eat. There is decent cheap public transport so you can go elsewhere but then frankly you may as well stay elsewhere. There are plenty of hotels near the sea along this coastline and it was just my bad luck that I ended up here. Makes it pretty expensive as they charge what they want having a bit of a monopoly. Food in the restaurant looked ok but wasnt much to write home about and serving a burger on a roof tile with two jam jars and a flower pot may still be considered trendy in some places but please lets just go back to plates.

Ideally central hotel to give you opportunity to visit nearby sopot and central gdansk . Near to the beach and local bars and restaurants. Excellent team and bus service nearby. Would recommend the hotel for a family or anyone wanting to visit Poland.
Very acimmodsting to those with young children with playground and kids activities. Swimmingboool a bonus

Lovely hotel if your on a business holiday

Hotel was lovely and well located but no good for self catering:
No fridge
No cooking equipment
No cutlery/plates
Restaruant is very expensive for portion sizes but was tasty.
Room has nowhere to sit apart from the bed.
Lobby has chairs but not for couples just single chairs every so often.
Found this hotel very boring and hard to live in.
Wimming Pool was beautiful this saved the day.

Great New Hotel

This hotel was noticably refurbished down to the new wood smell. The bathroom door needs to be replaced as it wouldn't close from the dated wood. Everything was very nice and the room was rather large and even had a balcony. The hotel has nice, paid but very secure, parking. It is right across from the park that leads to the beach and in a nice area. It's also within a hour of Malbork Castle. I highly recommend eating at the hotels winebar restaurant. The food was good and they had a large selection of wines.

Lovely hotel near the Baltic Sea.

Very good stay. We were able to walk to the Baltic Sea and many other sites and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a large, hot breakfast available. The hotel has a lovely wine bar that serves beer and mixed drinks as well as some food. We will stay there again next time we go to Gdansk.

The hotel was clean and modern ,we had a pleasant stay breakfast and dinner were very nice . The staff at recepetion werent very welcoming and need to speak better english also there wasnt any information about local tourist attractions or places of interest anywhere in the hotel .

We had a great holiday in Posejdon in Gdansk. It has a lovely situation in parkland only 200 meters from the beach, which is vast. The staff were wonderful and most helpful for an English tourist finding his way about by road. Food was excellent at all hours and the pool and sauna most refreshing.
The visits to the solidarity museum and maritime museum were most rewarding as were the upside down house and Hel!
The only surprise was the parking charge of £7 per day. We had not read the small print - but they even helped with that!

Out in the country but not too far away

Third stay at this hotel. Close to the beach and can walk to Sopot. Restaurant offers great choice for both breakfast and evening meal. Service is good. Red tape with regards to parking should be abolished. I brought a group of people and spent thousands on the rooms and meals for 2 days only to be thrown off schedule because of paperwork at the gate so the attendant wouldn't let us leave. Makes me think twice about returning with a tour group???

I HAD NEVER BEEN TO POLAND BEFORE, FOUND THE HOTEL ONLINE, GOOD PICTURES POOL, GYM, ETC
AND OF COURSE THE PRICE WAS RIGHT TO. I WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED WHEN I GOT THERE THAT BUILDING
WORK WAS GOING ON, ONLINE NEVER SAID ANYTHING LIKE THAT WAS GOING ON. ALTHOUGH THE BUILDING
WORK HAD TO BE DONE I UNDERSTAND THAT, THE HOTEL SHOULD TELL THEIR GUESTS. AND THE OTHER
THING I FOUND OUT, THE HOTEL LET THE LOCAL PEOPLE USE THEIR POOL. WHICH WAS ALWAYS FULL WHEN I WENT FOR A SWIM AND FAR TO CROWDED. THE POOL SHOULD BE ONLY FOR GUESTS AT THE HOTEL.

Looks great on the outside...

If only the rooms matched up to the quality of the public lobby area I'd have been very satisfied. Sadly they didn't !! Shower head all over the place, cupoard doors not closing, bedside light fittings loose, that kind of thing. Nothing too serious, but not upto the standards anticipated when you first see the hotel. - Location suited my needs (events at the Ergo Arena - easy walking distance), Trams to town center (just across the road - also Night bus stop close by) and Beach also very close. - Went slightly out of season (early September), local bars resturants were obviously winding down for the winter. - Enjoyable stay though in a very interesting city.

The hotel is less than 100m from the beach which is fantastic! However, it is a 65z taxi ride to old town and about a 2km walk from the tram. We had a fantastic stay at the hotel and the staff was helpful in booking a taxi and printing boarding passes for a 6 am flight.

Great Location between Sopot and Gdansk.

Hotel is 3 minutes walk from the sea shore. The hotel got old but is still maintained. For the price they offer for a double room - no complains. Worth it ! Also, they have great spa services that include all kinds of massages and treatments for a fraction of the price in other countries in Western Europe.

I wanted to experience the Polish seaside for the first time and made a wrong choice in booking this hotel. Needs a serious update for the price they are charging to stay there. Dark hallways, old smelly carpet, no AC, no mini fridge.... and the list goes on and on. The staff was mediocre at best, they can't give good directions on how to get to the surrounding cities and after instructing them not to clean my room they went ahead and cleaned it anyway..... Enough said! My advice to everyone, AVOID this place at all costs!!!

good location near beach, about 5 min drive to sopot,15 min to city.

ok, average hotel, but should have had a fan available since no air C. Big, good beds. Nice with green park and paths around. just a few minutes to the lovely beach and good swimming-possibilities!! a bit small pool, but ok with workout studio. The worst was the carpet at floor, it smelled not good,like wet cellar or grave chamber!

We would definitely come back to hotel Posejdon

The hotel Posejdon is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from a lovely sandy beach. Our room was very spacious with a large balcony and a view at the park. We arrived very late and the hotel restaurant was almost closed but they opened it for us so we could have a supper. Our room was cleaned regularly. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The personnel speaks several languages so it was easy to communicate.

I stayed four nights at Posejdon Hotel in Gdansk. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. The hotel is close to the sea and there a few restaurants in the area (I didn't use the hotel's restaurant as it was more expensive than some of the other places).

The only thing that was missing were a couple of chairs on the balcony but perhaps these can be arranged - I didn't ask.

We checked into the room however we did not stay, since the room was dirty and the smell in the hallways was bad. The website did not accurately portray the room and the smell added a sense of filth. I saw some spots and was afraid we may have bedbugs in the room so we opted not to stay. This hotel does not deserve a 3.8 rating

The Posejdon adventure

Still operates like the old (Communist era) hotel. No free breakfast or Internet services here. Old TV's in the rooms that need upgrading. The only positive thing, is that this Hotel is very close to the seaside and in a very quiet neighbourhood. Great gardens surrounding the Hotel. Restaurant is far too expensive. The pool was overcrowded and you have to PAY extra for the sauna!

Average Hotel

Hotel is located in a park in close proximity to the beach, bus and tramway station. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the train station Gdansk Oliwa that connects main tri cities, Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. Beds and bedding seem to be old and uncomfortable. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is equivalent to one star hotel in the United States.

Great hotel for escaping the city

Perfectly nice hotel, a bit 1970s in decor but very clean and comfortable in beautiful setting very close to the beach. Close to the tram stop for Gdansk, but the buses to Sopot are very confusing. Taxis from Sopot to hotel are about 20 - 25 PLN (about £4 - £5 at time of writing).

We used it as a base between Gdansk and Sopot which was perfect for us. It isnt walking distance to either but only a taxi ride.
The staff were excellent, very helpful. I would say the only down side was the breakfast wasnt great for the money and there isnt a massive amount close by as an alternative.

The Hotel is in a pretty good location, inbetween Sopot and Gadansk. The room was a decent size and pretty clean. However the bathroom was 'grotty' and could do with being refurbished (the toilet seat smelt like urine). The pool and sauna were good as was the bar. The Hotel makes a pretty good base camp if you dont want to spend much money.

El hotel muy correcto, el personal amable, la cama muy cómoda, desayuno rico y variado, buena situación al lado de la playa, se puede caminar hasta Sopot, unos 45 minutos.
La piscina no es muy grande.
Admiten perros.
Me parece caro el parking del hotel. En verano todas las calles colindantes son de pago, pero desde el otoño se puede aparcar sin problema fuera.

Ett mycket bra hotell med fina rum och mycket bra frukostbuffé. Passar såväl barnfamiljer som seniorer. Nära till storslagen badstrand och flertalet strand-restauranger. Matpriserna var dock lite högre än förväntat men det kompenseras av billigare goda alko-drycker.

Tråkig upplevelse, luras inte av bilderna. Det är inget spa, utan en barnpool. Inget fel med de, men luras inte av att det är ett spa. Utan ett hotell för barnfamiljer. Hög ljudnivå, mycket lekande barn utanför rummen och i gemensamma ytor. Frukosten får lågt betyg, inte påfyllt och litet utbud. Rekommenderar andra hotell, inte prisvärt med tanke på vad man betalar och får väldigt lite för det.

Solides Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln

Gutes Hotel in der Nähe von Gdansk. Renovierte Badezimmer und gute Sauna. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, nahe zum Strand. Die Teppiche in den Zimmern haben einige Flecken und sollten entweder gereinigt oder ersetzt werden. Ansonsten große und schöne Zimmer.

Prostorné a čisté pokoje. V době koronakrize však s omezeným úklidem. Výborný poměr mězi cenou a kvalitou.Pestré a velmi chutné snídaně. Nedostatkem je přeplněné parkoviště a nepříliš čisté koberce ve společných prostorech.

God service i corona tider

Et familievennlig hotell, god service selv om engelskkunnskapene kunne vært litt bedre hos noen. Frokosten med servering ved bordene, istedenfor buffet, fungerte godt og personalet var svært godt forberedt. Spa og svømmebasseng var fine til avslapning, bassenget passet også for de minste. 5 minutters gange til stranden og mange restauranter i nærheten.

Zimowy wyjazd nad morze, hotel bardzo dobrze położony, pokoje czyste i dobrze utrzymane ale nie jakieś super nowoczesne. Fajny basen, szczególnie dla dzieci i sauny. Dobre śniadania i fajna restauracja hotelowa. Trochę słaba obsługa na recepcji ale może źle trafiłem bo było pełno ludzi.

Velmi čistý, moderně zařízený hotel, ve kterém je bazén i pěkná sauna.Je umístěn cca 5 min od pláže Jelitkowo. Pokoje jsou velmi čisté, stejně tak i ostatní zázemí a okolí hotelu. Pokoje jsou denně uklízeny milými pokojskými, které doplňují i vody, čaje, kávu. Velmi chválím luxusní snídaně.Bohatý výběr čerstvých uzenin, sýrů, ryb, zeleniny, ovoce, teplých vajíček, párků, kaše, kávy, mléka, čajů atd.Na přání vám kuchař navíc přichystá např.palačinky, omeletu, nebo hemenex. Naše děti si oblíbily samovýrobu freshe z mrkve a jablek. Po celou dobu snídaní nám asistoval personál, který neustále doplňoval raut a sklízel použité nádobí a všichni se usmívali. V tomto hotelu není nic problém. Vřele doporučuji! Děkujeme celému usměvavému a milému týmu za skvělě strávenou dovolenou.

Hotelle i seg selv var bra. Ryddig og reint, men dårlig med info om tider og attraksjoner på hoteller. Maten på hoteller var ikke helt etter vår smak. Lite utvalg. Det var kort vei til stranden og noen restauranter, men litt for langt vekke fra alt annet.
