It is advertised with two restaurants, one a cafeteria. After a long hard drive from Santander to Badajoz. On arriving my partner tried to check is both in having to compete two ridiculously long forms, never having to do so before. I was seated as l am disabled they needed my signature. On here return to the desk, the clerk dicided to check in a goup of six. NOT impressed. On asking what time the restaurant was serving dinner the answer was it's closed. No expliction or apology. Use the cafeteria only to find it was in the adjoining service station. Again NOT impressed. At breakfast there was a container for hot food in which Nothing appeared in the 45 minutes we were there poor selection with over ripe bananas on disply.

Great location but we arrived on Sunday evening and the restaurant was closed. We did manage to get a meal in the services next door. We also took breakfast there next morning, as the waiter in the hotel cafeteria was so rude to my wife. Reception staff throughout our stay were most helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped.

The staff was very helpful during my stay. I had to show my record of payment through the app that they honored. The halls smelt of smoke, but the room did not. I ate next door at the cafeteria twice and my food was ready quickly. There was a party in the courtyard but I couldn’t hear it over the air. The a/c gets COLD! They also let me store my luggage for a few hours after checkout which was so helpful. Thank you!

Good option in transit

Quite satisfying for a road hotel. The nearby gas station doesn’t bother at all. Cozy, silent and modern room. A stone throw from the frontier, you can reach Badajoz (Spain) or Elvas (Portugal) in a few minutes. Staff was kind and attentive.

This was an excellent hotel which serves the purpose of an overnight stay en route. Not convenient for city of Badajoz and evening meal at 9.00 pm is a little late for people not used to eating late. There is a very convenient restaurant at the fuel station next door where the waiter was very pleasant and helpful.

It was very good and comfortable but no cafe or restaurant was open neither outside locally or in the hotel. We had no food but managed to find some bread and cheese in hipercor. Not a great idea for a hotel restaurant to be closed.

In Madrid I arrive at noon check in was at two. They are prompt about those things.

In this place I arrived at 1, had to come back at four, and still had to wait for check-in....

hotel kept in good condition despite its age, breakfast very good with lots of choices, but internet was slow compared with other places we stayed.....and yes, no tea/coffe facility, and no mini fridge...essential on a hot spanish day in august...

Nice hotel on the road to Lisbon from Madrid

We stayed one night and it was very good. The staff super friendly, the room very clean and the bed super confortable. The only thing was they dont have the air conditioning activated in the rooms due to the weather in April is still little cold. But that was not an issue at all because we opened a window and the temperature was pefect to sleep as stones! Very good hotel where I would stay again and recommend to everyone.

Nice quiet hotel outside main town

Hotel Las Bovedas is situated on the main Hwy (A5) so it was easy to reach by car. However the building is far enough from the road so road noise is not a problem. (NB: You have to put your door card in the slot to activate all electrical items.
The bar and restaurant were just OK (There is also a cafeteria which is separate but I did not try it.) The rooms were large and comfortable and well fitted out - including a small fridge. Amenities include free parking (some under cover) and good free wifi.
It is only 5-10 min drive to the center of Badajoz and there was a large modern shopping mall (elfaro) only 5 minutes drive away.
The only issue I had was when the room air conditioning failed one evening but hotel staff arranged for a repair man who fixed the problem in an hour.
Overall I was very satisfied.

I was driving from Portugal to Switzerland and stayed a night here to have a break. Very cheap with comfortable beds and rooms. I guess the hotel is mostly suitable for people who is driving past, but if you plan to visit Badajoz and are looking for a cheap place to stay, it`s great!

Located just off the main Madrid/Lisbon motorway and very convenient for en route travellers. The hotel is remote from other facilities (bars restaurants, shops) but the facilities at the hotel are very reasonably priced. Free WiFi worked well and free parking although the parking is not secure. I would stay again without hesitation.

location is good if you have a car, it takes 10 min to drive to downtown. there is a gas station next to hotel, but the ambient is quite and good. Internet was slow but good, parking for car is around the hotel and good as well. I will definitely come back. 3 people sleeps comfortable in the room.

We stayed for three nights as we were attending a wedding there. Although the wedding itself was spectacular and very well organised. The hotel room was unclean on arrival. e.g hairs on floor,bed, bathroom etc. The rooms were very dated and the bed was not very comfortable. The hotel landing areas were also unclean and dusty. As the hotel was cheap, we didn't complain, but I would go to a different hotel next time. Although the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Os quartos ouvem se muito uns para os outros. Não são muito confortáveis para um hotel de 4 estrelas. O pessoal era simpático.

Hotel correcto en las afueras de Badajoz pegando a la autovia, al lado de una gasolinera para pasarbuna noche de paso. Desayuno de la cafeteria tipica de bar de carretera, sin mimo alguno para los huéspedes del hotel. Recepcion amables. Sistema de ventilacion deberian de limpiarlo. Soy alergicova los acaros y pase una noche fatal con asma a tope. No repetire.

Me he alojado bastantes veces en el hotel, se celebraban eventos tipo bodas pero nunca me había sucedido lo de esta ocasión. Se celebraron del orden de seis comuniones y los niños tomaron el hotel pensando que era un parque de Disney. Subían y bajan con los ascensores, corrían por los pasillos, llamaban a las puertas y corrían gritando. Entiendo que son niños, pero no se debe de molestar a los huéspedes. Naturalmente los padres son los primeros responsables, pero si no asumen su responsabilidad es la dirección del hotel la que debe de tener previsto que esto suceda y debe de tomar las medidas oportunas.

Personnel très sympathique, il y avait un peu de musique dans l'hotel quand nous sommes arrivés, mais de la chambre cela ne s'entendait pas du tout, l'hôtesse ayant pris en compte ce détail dans l'attribution de la chambre (supposition).
Seul petit regret : deux lits simples au lieu d'un grand lit (toujours mieux quand on voyage en couple), mais nous avons réservé en dernière minute, donc on ne peut pas être trop exigeants.
Chambre comfortable, nous avons très bien dormi.

Hotel super agradável. Estávamos em família,3 adultos, e na minha opinião,o quarto que nos deram não era apropriado para 3,e sim ideal para 2 pessoas. Haja visto que a cama de solteiro (dobráve) fica atravessada e colada nos pés da cama de casal. Resumindo: para 3 pessoas não fica confortável.
Já fiquei em hotéis de 3 ou até de 2 estrelas que eram bemmm melhores que esse de 4.
Café da manhã simples porém suficiente.
Internet bemmm lenta,acabei por rotear do meu celular..
Ponto positivo é o estacionamento à vontade.

Une très bonne surprise. Même si l'hôtel n'est pas situé dans un environnement très agréable, il propose de très bonnes prestations : des chambres spacieuses, confortables et bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très varié. Un personnel très compétent. Très bonne situation géographique proche du Portugal et à quelques kilomètres de Badajoz. Parking gratuit. Je recommande sans hésitation.
