The hotel is in need of a major refresh. The room was just \"OK\". The bed and pillow was unbearable and I found it hard to sleep. Stiff neck and sore back for most of the trip. The restaurant service and food were good, but it needs a refresh -- new curtains, the floor needs a redo, the ceiling shows signs of water damage. If I'd choose one thing they would fix, it is better mattress and pillows!

Cleanliness, helpful staff and their politeness all perfect but I didn't like the timing of air conditioning in really hot weather. We did complain to staff but they couldn't do anything because general manager has to change the rule, we didn't know about it just saw in description air conditioned rooms. Part of air conditioning everything is perfect.

The staff were friendly however we were mislead regarding the repair of their faulty air conditioning system. The first night was miserable due to the heat and no air conditioning. We were told the system was to be repaired but when we returned, it had not. We decided not to spend the second night. Fortunately we were not charged for the second night. We were told the hotel is under new management starting May 1.

Unless the lady at the front desk had to deal with inner hotel rules she tried her best.
BUT this hotel is in such a bad and poor condition .. IT SHOULDNT BE OPEN WITHOUT RENOVATIONS.
And especially marked as a 4 stars !
The location was very easy to find and very close to pinerolo city center

good value business hotel, no free Wifi?

If you are looking for a good bargain business style hotel in the area Hotel Barrage is a good option. Rooms are spacius, good big beds and AC which is working well. Bathroom with shower (tight as usual in Italy).

Breakfast is 3-5€/Person ifnot included but also not worth much more. Simple as usual in Italy.

Free parking outside, Wifi works for 30min free, then you need to pay - this is a bit ridicolous in 2017

This hotel is an incredible value. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly.

I would not say it's a 4 star hotel because:
1. the grounds are tidy but dull.
2. the wifi didn't work on my floor for the 3 days I was there. But, it did work in the lobby. No one new how to fix it.
3. Breakfast was good but not my idea of 4 star.

For of that, I'll stay here again when I return next month.

Pinerolo - No Visitors ALLOWED!!!

Difficult to find this hotel - address when entered into GPS takes you a different location in Pinerolo.
Hotel is located out of town and during our visit appeared mostly empty. Lack of paved driveway made it difficult to drag our suitcases into the hotel.
The area around the hotel smelled of sewage.
Room was fine, modern but small as most European hotels are. Temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm and could not be controlled - windows did open, but then the sewage aroma came into play.
The hotel had a very unusual and aggressively enforced policy of not allowing visitors into a room. As we were in Pinerolo to visit our son, this made our stay at this hotel frustrating. The desk staff monitored people's arrival and adamantly refused to allow our son up to our room claiming this policy was based on anti-terrorist rules. Odd that we had never encountered that rule in any other hotel in Italy.
Much better places to in the heart of Pinerolo.

Disappointing stay

The receptionist isn't helpful at all, at least not for a 4 star hotel.
Unhealthy breakfast most of them were sweets.
Refilling the food was scanty or not done at all.
You can see, that they have to save on breakfast.
We had the feeling, that they don't care about their guests.
The best was the housekeeping. Most of the housekeeping employees don't speak English but they do their best to help as they can.

Non sembra un 4 stelle. Effettivamente ha una presentazione importante, la hall è di quelle dei grandi alberghi. Non all'altezza la condizione delle camere, si sentiva cattivo odore di risalita dagli scarichi del bagno. Bisogna di essere rinnovato. Buona la colazione. Non è possibile raggiungere il centro con mezzi pubblici. Non lo consiglio x rapporto qualità prezzo.

L'hotel si trova in una posizione comoda per i miei spostamenti e allora ogni tanto ci vado. Sulla carta non è male, ha un ampio parcheggio, ampie camere e bagno...il problema è che tenuto male. Parcheggio in mezzo alla polvere, bagni che hanno bisogno di manutenzione, dotazione datata.
Colazione normale.

Hôtel trés malhonnête, je suis partie la premiére nuit car le chauffage ne chauffait pas bien, la couverture sur le lit inadéquate pour la saison. On m'a donné des couvertures de plus mais trop fines et qui couvraient juste une partie du lit. Je ne suis pas restée à l'hôtel et on m'a fait payer les 4 nuits. J'ai payé 2 hôtels dans la même semaine. L'hôtel a refusé de me rembourser, ce sont des voleurs. Inacceptable pour un hôtel qui se dit de 4 étoiles.

Er rystet over det er et 4 stjernet hotel. Da vi ankom virkede air condition ikke og vinduet kunne ikke lukkes. Personalet sagde vi skulle lukke vinduet, så ville aircon virke. Efter en længere snak kom de endelig og så på det. De kunne så konstatere at vinduet ikke kunne lukkes. Spurgte efter nyt værelse spm vi fik efter lidt modvillighed. På det nye værelse kunne døren så åbnes halvt. Udendørs arealerne var heller ikke optimale. Møblerne meget slidt.
Hvis man er i gang med renovering skal man nok være mere obs.
Vil overhovedet ikke anbefale det til andre

Prima volta in questo hotel e sono rimasto un po' deluso. Posizione è ok e ottima possibilità di parcheggio, dall'esterno e dalla reception si presenta bene.
Camera grande ma poco confortevole e con evidente mancanza di manutenzione:
- finestre poco insonorizzate, si sentiva il rumore del vento ed entrava aria dagli spifferi,
- in bagno qualsiasi gancio, portasciugamani, carta igienica etc era svitato dal muro, doccia con problemi di calcare e sciacquone wc mezzo rotto.
- interruttori della luce mezzi svitati in bagno e uno rotto all'ingresso.
- rumore proveniente dal corridoio (sono stato sfortunato perché c'era una rumorosa scolaresca)
Cenato al ristorante interno, non male in assoluto ma il personale pur molto gentilmente è pressante perché chiede troppe informazioni per garantire il pagamento, numero camera per garanzia, metodo di pagamento, etc. Sembra che abbiano il timore che non si paghi e questo innervosisce.
Quindi in definitiva, può anche andare per una notte ma penso ci sia di meglio in zona.

Very noisy hotel because the hotel was booked for kids school holidays. Kids were playing till nidnight and the phonic isolation of room doors is very bad.
So this is not a hôtel for business trips.
Moreover there was no warm water for the shower in the morning for 2 out of 4 days.

Purtroppo non posso che scrivere una recensione negativa. In questi giorni di caldo record mi è stata data una stanza con l'aria condizionata non funzionante. Poco dopo il mio arrivo ho segnalato il problema. Nonostante ben tre richieste alla reception per risolvere il problema, nulla è stato fatto e non mi è stata proposta una camera alternativa. Ho \"dormito\" in un bagno di sudore, con una temperatura costante di quasi 32 gradi. In un albergo a 4 stelle , dove pago per soggiornare, mi sembra inaccettabile.

Come Giada una ragazza molto professionale gentilissima e pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problema che si dovrebbe presentare al cliente. Come per me, che senza farmi preoccupare per un problema che mi è successo, si è attivata immediatamente ed è riuscita a risolverlo. Sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra. Spero che il Direttore di questo Hotel non se la fa scappare. Un elogio pure al personale delle pulizie e della sala colazione. Camera e bagno trovati pulitissimi. Box doccia spazioso. Die Bwertung von Hotels.com mit 8.2 und sehr gut kann ich überhaupt nicht verstehen.
Das gebuchte Zimmer war zwar groß, aber in einem schlechten Zustand. Das Badezimmer hatte eine bodenebene Dusche, die aber nur einen zu kurzen Duschvorhang hatte,sodass das Bad nach ca 4 Minuten Duschzeit komplett unter Wasser stand.
Das Frühstück war selbst für italienische Verhältnisse absolut unbefriedigend. Der Service war unterirdisch. Kaffee gab es erst als ich das Frühstück bereits beendet hatte.
Am Vorabend hat es mehr als eine halbe Stunde gedauert,um an der Hotelbar ein Bier zu bekommen, es fühlte sich schlichtweg niemand zuständig.

Camera ampia e ben distribuita. Qualche accessorio in più nel bagno poteva essere utile, tipo un tavolino o una mensola dove appoggiare il beauty. Durante la notte dai tubi di aspirazione del bagno entrava fumo, abbiamo ovviato chiudendo la porta. Pizza ottima e servizio al ristorante piacevole. Le quattro stelle mi sembrano eccessive. La struttura ha delle ottime potenzialità, ma necessita dello svecchiamento per alcune parti. Da rivedere parecchio il servizio del ristorante, anche se la cucina lavora abbastanza bene ed usa delle ottime materie prime. Ho apprezzato moltissimo lo sconto applicato a seguito degli inconvenienti che ci sono stati durante la cena, perché hanno dimostrato di tenere al giudizio dei clienti.

La mia esperienza durante il soggiorno all'Hotel barrage non è stata interamente positiva. Probabilmente essendo un igienista do molta importanza all'argomento in questione. Anzitutto in camera pavimentazione moquette e sotto il letto la classica lanetta di polvere. In bagno pavimento in marmo con evidenti macchie intorno al wc e pavimento appiccicoso. Tale problema si manifesta quando non viene effettuato il risciacquo.

Hôtel très bine, emplacement pratique mais en dehors de la ville. Possibilité de se garer devant l’hôtel, facilement, très bien pour les motards. Chambres spacieuses avec grand lit, état défraîchi par endroit mais très correct.
Seul petit bémol le restaurant dont la terrasse et juste devant les chambres, avec musique à niveau modéré jusqu'à 11h le soir

hotel agréable mais chambre avec vue sur un parking/dépot voire décharge. l'hotel était quasi vide et pourtant on nous a donné cette chambre.....
Le déjeuner en self était froid les 3 jours ( café etc...)
Pas un 4 étoile
