The property was very beautiful. However, for the Price that I paid, which was almost US$2000 per night. The service was terrible.. I had ordered a pick up service from the airport and on arrival 10:30 PM at night. I was left stranded no one showed up, I tried calling the hotel and was told to find my way to the hotel. During my four days day, I continuously had to call and wait for long periods to complain that my room was not clean or serviced.. totally disappointed in this hotel

The staff at The Kontiki Beach Resort was friendly and helpful, and the beach area was beautiful. Unfortunately, the room was not what we expected. The bathroom had mosquitoes flying around, the shower water turned cool before the second person could shower, and the “king bed” was actually two twin mattresses pushed together with separate twin sheets. The walk to the front desk can also be a bit much depending on where your room is located. One of the pools near our room looked dirty and more like a koi pond without fish. Cabana Beach closes at 6 PM, so if you want food, drinks, or nightlife afterward, you’ll need to head to Mood Beach or Mambo Beach. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay and honestly would have switched hotels if a refund had been an option.

If you’re going for the swimming pool, you’ll be disappointed. Their strong feature, is the beach. The beach is amazing. They’re also connected to a beach walkway with restaurants and shops. They also give you a pass to a full gym on the beach walkway. if you like working out on vacation, this is a great feature. The Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. It’s a nice resort. I just wish the pools were better.

I recently stayed at the Kontiki Beach Resort and overall I enjoyed my stay and would return, mainly because the location is excellent. Being right next to Mambo Beach was definitely the highlight — everything was convenient, lively, and beautiful.

The room itself was nice and comfortable, but there were a few issues. The lighting in the room was very dim, and I also didn’t like that the shower had no door because the bathroom floor would get soaked after every shower.

The staff experience was mixed. Some employees were fine, but the ladies working at the beach area had poor attitudes and came across as sarcastic when I simply asked where to get towels. Customer service could definitely be improved.

Breakfast was okay — not the greatest selection or quality — but since it was included for free, I can’t complain too much.

One thing that really bothered me was finding a huge roach inside an open bag of candy I had left on the counter in my room. That was definitely unpleasant and something the resort should address.

Overall, despite a few negatives, I still enjoyed the resort because of the amazing location and nice atmosphere. With improvements in customer service, room design, and pest control, this place could easily be even better.

Kontiki was an absolute blast! It’s definitely the Ibiza of the Caribbean. The property was spotless, and the staff was incredibly attentive. The beaches were breathtaking, with the most stunning blue Caribbean Sea you’ve ever seen. The bar staff were quick and friendly, and they even gave us some tips to make the most of our authentic Curaçao experience.

However, there were a few hiccups. The printed menu and the POS didn’t always match up, which was frustrating. But that’s more on the hotel’s development and logistics side, not the staff’s fault.

We stayed in the beachfront room, which was worth every penny. The plunge pool was great, but it was a bit far from the other pools, so we didn’t get a chance to check it out. And let me tell you, the AC didn’t work at night! It was freezing cold, and there was nothing the staff could do about it. I ended up sleeping outside two nights because the room was too cold.

Overall, the staff was amazing, but the hotel could definitely improve in terms of amenities and comfort.

We have had the best vacation staying at Kontiki Curacao Beach Resort. Over the years, we have traveled to many countries and stayed at multiple hotels and resorts. However, none of the places we stayed before has shown as much love, attention, and quality of service as the management team here at Kontiki. The staff here is amazing. The food is superb. The beach is crystal clear blue. The beach and entire resort is clean and well kept. I recommend this resort to anyone who loves tropical nature, beaches, live concerts, and having a good time. 10/10

The resort is pretty. If you book the apartments just know you’re not close to the pools that you see in the photos. They have their own secluded pool which is not bad. Everything there needs a reservation. The beach is beautiful and so is the aesthetic. The staff was lovely and always helpful. The place is nice but maybe could use a little more fixing in the apartment rooms such as the paint and the bedroom. It was a easy check in and check out. I would maybe stay here again.

Group of 3 and we stayed not on the kontiki property itself but the newly acquired apartments closer to mood beach. The only inconvenience was getting to the natural salt pools, we had to walk around the whole property because our card did not have access to the kontiki entrance by cabana beach restaurant.

Our apartment was very spacious, with kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths that accommodated 3 women perfectly but could fit 4-5 if needed.

Access to the beaches and restaurants was great.

I really did enjoy my time at The Kontiki Resort. The staff was amazing! The property is well taken care of! The access to the beach with nearby shopping and restaurants is so conveniently located. As a female solo traveler I felt safe at all times. My room was beautiful! Very spacious. There was no place to store clothes in a dresser but there is a built in wardrobe in the room. Complimentary water is provided in the refrigerator as well as a coffee maker and hair dryer. The bathroom was very sexy with a nice big soaking tub and shower. There is storage provided in the mirrored medicine cabinet. The toilet continuously smelled a bit and the bathroom had not been cleaned very well. The wrap around porch is an added bonus. You can walk right out to the pool. Overall I would recommend

I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Kontiki. The grounds were breathtaking and I had an overall great time. Cleaning was hit and miss for me nd I don't think my floor was mopped and it showed. My toilet also wasn't the cleanest. That was my only concern. The front office staff was very hospitable. I would return but would stay in a suite.

There is a free bus service daily at 9 am to the grocery store or it can be ordered for you. Use the resort App or WhatsApp for requests. The free wifi was ok. Bring bug spray !

After staying at this facility over the weekend I would rate it a 6/10. I stayed in one of the suites which was nice and clean. Anyone traveling and staying there would just need to bring an adapter to be able to plug in there electronics for charging. My wifi and tv also either went in and out or just remained completely off (the last night). Luckily i was too tired to care anymore.
I requested the VIP transfer from the airport. When i arrived no one was initially there waiting with a sign. Eventually i found someone and had to wait another 15-20 mins for my taxi. My VIP transfer did not seem worth the money since it was a regular SUV that included my driver vaping and eating while i prayed we get there safely.
The food at the cabana was delicuous my first day but my last day it was terrible and it took forever to make ams receive.
Some of the staff members are very friendly and go out there way to assist while others attempt to do as little as possible and not very helpful at all.

Beautiful room. Had a huge balcony overlooking one of the pools on property. It was nice to sit out there in the morning and evening! Beach was gorgeous! If I had a complaint it would be that some chairs were reserved for cruise passengers over hotel guests. They still had plenty for guests but the ones sectioned off were prime seats! We only went to our beach one day so it wasn’t a big deal! It is a party hotel, our room was far away from the party and didn’t really bother us! We would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kontiki Beach Resort. The rooms are beautiful and our view was fantastic. We especially loved the little private plunge pool on the deck — it made the stay feel extra special. The beach area is very lively with great restaurants, beach clubs, and plenty of shopping nearby, so there is always something to do. Just be prepared for loud music on Wednesday nights due to the beach club events, but aside from that it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back.

The staff was warm and very friendly. We stayed in the tiki styled rooms which I found dated. The one problem I had was amenities, i.e., laundry facilities, if I’m going to spend a week at a beach resort, I would love to not have to pay $4 to wash the sand out of my bathing suits. They could also benefit from a partnership with a livery service. I don’t drive when I’m vacationing, especially in a foreign country. There’s no way to get away from the resort except very expensive cabs.

Rooms are very old and mattresses not attached if it’s king, I never see such a small and not comfortable pillows, new building that is with elevator was terrible how can they don’t have AC in the living room . It was so hot ( by going between bedrooms and living room. I thought I’ll get pneumonia.) we would have to keep AC in the bedrooms so cold like freezing just to barely reach living room area. No microwaves in small units . Realfast is terrible and overpriced . I really recommend to go for a walk to a plaza to have real fast . Only think what was amazing that was beach and lounge chairs ( make sure to go early to get a spot ) don’t get first raw because you will be exposed to the sun fully, if you am older person make sure to request 1 st floor closer to the beach but music was so loud we couldn’t fall asleep 👌. Kontiki making party at the breakfast area 2 or 3 times a week so get ready if you are sensitive to. Love you willl not fall asleep. Front desk staff and golf cart people was very nice. Houskeeping was amazing . If you need clean beach towels get ready to go to front desk for that. I will never go back to this place . I was at Lions Dive last year it was 100 times better but beach chairs are not as comfortable . Kontiki have at the checkout a showers but becarful it’s very slippery and very hot , lobby and showers have no AC. Try local restaurant in downtown it’s amazing there.

The resort was exactly as expected and more! Loved the vibe of our non-luxury suite, walking out to our outdoor patio for coffee, relaxing on a bed by the pool, so many beautiful plants, birds, and a beautiful iguana “Iggy” who loved sunning himself in the afternoon! The restaurants, bars, beach area and the little shop by the beach area were great! But the best part of our entire stay was the staff! Everyone and I mean everyone was kind, welcoming, engaged in conversations and were always hoping we were enjoying our stay. The front desk staff were always helpful, especially Mayron who went above and beyond to get my husbands cell phone back to him after we realized when we were at the airport that it was left behind! And the maid that cleaned our room every day, she was always bright and cheery and always did an excellent job!! We have traveled a great deal. Many resorts aim to please and are polite. But we could definitely say the people at the Kontiki were authentic and genuinely kind! We could not ask for a better place to stay and will definitely come back and recommend to others!!!! 💗💗💗

The Kontiki was VERY helpful when we needed transportation to the different off-site locations and to the airport. They were very knowledgeable about the excursions, also. There was a bus to take to us and bring us back from the local market, free of charge.
There is so much to do on this resort. There are restaurants, shops, entertainment. The scenery is BEAUTIBUL!!. we do plan to return in the future!

The kontiki resort was absolutely amazing it was beautiful and the staff were so welcoming. Check in was very smooth and we were greeted with fresh coconuts, I have zero complaints about the kontiki resort. However my one and only complaint would be to not eat the ceviche at mood beach it got me absolutely sick and I was throwing up all night long every hour. The fish must have been old and I did not appreciate getting served that. Other than that the beaches were beautiful and easily accessible from The Kontiki.

The staff were amazing. Check in was smooth and the sea view suite exceeded my expectations. My only complaint was that my room wasn’t cleaned very well and the room was eye level and right next to the plaza. People eating lunch are watching you while you’re in your private pool. Overall we still enjoyed it. The suites are directly over the beach parties so prepare for the noise. It didn’t bother us. They also provided ear plugs in your room and everything was over by midnight. We will return and request a top floor.

Wow is all I can say! I absolutely loved this hotel. I stayed in the Beachfront Suite and was completely obsessed. The room was stunning, and I couldn’t help but lounge in my private pool most days. Beyond the beauty of the space, the service was top-notch. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They were also very responsive to all my requests via WhatsApp, which made everything so easy and convenient. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for a truly relaxing getaway.

The grounds were beautiful and the location was nice. The staff was really nice. So this made my stay overall good. I booked one of their older rooms (the one with all the wood paneling) because the upgraded ones weren't available for my time frame. The room had two twin beds pushed together but they constantly seperated. We didnt get a full blanket. They gave us two twin blankets. So imagine a couple trying to cover up together at night. We asked for a full blanket and never got it. So i assume they dont have any. The floors were dusty and there was an awful smell in the bathroom, possibly their sewage. But the smell came from the drains and it would stink up the room. The shower had no door and was small so having a shower would went up most of the floor in the bathroom which had us asking for multiple towels daily. And they only provide you two when the clean the room. And they didnt change the hand towels daily unless it looked used. Dont expect real washcloths. They staff and location made the stay better. The accommodations itself not so great, if its the older rooms.
