Having the restaurant was a game changer. The rooms are basic with updated bathrooms and clean. But to be able to walk directly right to the beach, and sit by the pool with ocean view and ocean breeze, and get lunch and a drink in the shade to take a break from the sun made it an excellent place to stay. Also location we thought was great, had a Walgreens, subway Pizza Hut, taco joint and few bars all within 2-3 blocks. We brought our 10 month old baby and we wanted to stay longer we had so much fun. We would definitely go back and stay here at MB!

We enjoyed our stay at the MB Hotel. Being right on the beach and right on the walking/bike path was so convenient. All of the staff were professional, genuine, kind, and helpful during our stay. The buffet breakfast on the fifth floor was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean.

I only gave it two stars so you know I’m not giving them 1 star for the hell of it. This is a poor choice for hotel in this part of town unless you are just looking for something basic and budget. Maybe cause it’s on the beach they think they can slack on quality.

The place has a dirty vibe to the rooms. Strong smell of mold in the hallways. The bed linens seem very used even though they may be washed they had yellow stains and felt Not crisp.

If you’re looking for a clean feeling hotel where you’re not afraid to touch things then go somewhere else this is not it.

Also to make matters works I got the room with a balcony which was on the road and not only hella noisy from all the traffic but had these intense blue led lights on the balcony that don’t shut off. The room curtains sucked and didn’t block out light so the whole room is lit up blue when trying to sleep. Which is the absolute worst color of light to be exposed to before bed.

It worked for me for a night in a pinch but it would suck to stay here for a week if you’re planning a trip. Definitely look else where.

The beach chairs and umbrella are the highlight of staying here. The pool was lovely, especially at night but the water was too cold to get in. We were a childless couple but I can see how this place is fun with kids.
The staff was lovely. My only critique on the room was that the bathroom had no fan, the sink didn't drain and the lighting is harsh and terrible.
We booked this because hotels.com said \"ocean view\" and that a voucher for 2 breakfasts was included. Both were untrue.

Main elevator was closed. Had to run baggage up and down stairs to access the alternate at the back of building. The pool is small and shaded due to the trees and surrounding buildings. There is no ice machine, but will give you a cup of ice at the front desk. I will not stay here again.

No elevator.. both were broken so had to carry all of our luggage upstairs. I just had surgery so I'm not supposed to lift more than 2 lb so that wasn't helpful. Both the beds were broken as well. No ventilation in the bathroom so it steamed up and caused a lot of condensation where the water was dripping off the windows and ceiling. Not worth the amount that I paid.

Staff polite but that's about it. Reported that some toiletries were lacking upon arrival-never addressed/provided. 2 scrawny bath towels and 1 hand towel provided for two adults! Grabbed a third towel that was then REMOVED from the room on the one day of housekeeping provided. Toilet paper not replenished.

Location is great. Hotel rooms had a “humid” smell to it. We also had major issues with noise due to construction. Ultimately the hotel returned our money but we could have been notified of construction prior to arrival. No one wants to go on vacation to be woken up by a jackhammer, and I mean, literally it was a jackhammer.

I paid for a late check… when they knocked on my door at 11, I had to call the front desk—— with my self phone since none of the phones in the hotel worked— and I was told that the 40 & check out WAS TO BE APPROVED. The hotel appears to be in good condition, although it could use some better maintenance. The room is a good size, but cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The only downside that made our vacation less enjoyable was definitely the poor air conditioning. The humidity was unacceptably high. Breakfast is a plus: varied and good quality. The outdoor terrace is gorgeous. The beach has direct access and is spotless. The beach service is excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Right on the beach with a great restaurant for dinner. Kids loved the pool! One thing, if you didn’t pre book the breakfast, don’t do it - it’s not worth it. Very overpriced for basic continental breakfast. We didn’t know it was not included and then was billed $240 for 4 of us (two nights), when it was hardly worth $50 total. Fortunately the staff refunded 1 day worth, but still it’s not worth it!

The beach view was amazing from the 5th floor restaurant. The property was a very cute hotel. Many areas for picture taking. Only thing was there was only one elevator working out of the two which was all the way in the back of the hotel.

When you enter the room you feel moldy smell. Overall the room needs serious renovation. On pictures everything looks perfect but the condition of the room varies a lot. Restaurant and reception is nice newly renovated. Food is good but you feel unwelcome since even before you finish food they ask if we want a check. Hotel reception stuff is friendly.

The staff is great. Place is clean and it’s a great location. The only suggestion would be to put Sliding doors on the balconies that have noise reduction capability, because you can hear everything from the streets. it was also a little disappointing that the spa and the gym are nonexistent. I’m not sure why it says on Hotels.com that there’s a spa and gym available that is inaccurate

MB Hotel is one of the best. We spent 3 nights there and in was wonderful.

The staff was exceptional especially Mr Angelo. Nice dining section for breakfast.
A wonderfully warm pool with supplies like pool towels and chairs.

The beach is just behind the hotel. Dominos just infront of the hotel and to name a few.

We stayed in junior suite. Large room, good bathroom. However toilet flush was poor. Air conditioner unit stopped working on one half half way through stay - offered a swap to a small room. We were in the same room for 4 nights - no one cleaned the room during our stay- we had to ask for clean towels and toilet roll. The restaurant only serves lunch which was not mentioned on booking.

Excellent location though right on beach with loungers supplied.

It's been our second stay at this hotel and we love the boutique design vibe, the stretch of beach it's at an the convenient location (1 block from Walgreens, several restaurants, Collins Express right at the door step).

Beach: There is no dedicated beach service. You would have to order inside - which isn't a big deal to me but wanted to point it out.

I would expect people at the hotel to speak fluent English which wasn't the case for some of the staff members, especially the person working at the pool.

This is a very nice, cozy, small, family-run hotel. Perfect location, right on the oceanfront. The food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. We are extremely happy and would love to come back here again.

Great location! Beautiful and affordable. Private beach is beautiful and supply you with Umbrellas and chairs. The rooftop breakfast is a delightful and delicious experience. The pool is gorgeous looking out onto the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Kalypso Beach restaurant is amazing. Poolside and beach cocktails served as well as food. Very clean hotel with very comfortable beds. I will be back soon!
