A bus stop lies around 50 m away from the hotel and the centre of Argassi is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Argassi beach lies 700 m away and the hotel is around 3 km from the centre of Zakynthos as well as 5 km from the airport.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the second of three stays while in Italy. The property was very spacious with expansive views of wine country. The parking was easy and included. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic and we highly recommend doing the seated 5 course dinner with wine pairings! Chef Guido is very creative and we really enjoyed all the dishes he prepared. We also recommend the hotel cocktail bar and mixologist Marta. He is very knowledgeable about spirits and works with the chef to creat some unique cocktails. Our room was spacious and had wonderful views and a great outside terrace. The only suggestion would be to replace the desk and chair in the room for a kitchenette as that would have been more useful. Overall great stay!

This property is an absolute dream! It is gorgeous, has amazing views & an incredible staff. We rented e-bikes one day to explore surrounding wineries/vineyards which was fun (but tougher than expected). The restaurant is pricey but very good. We also had a rental car & were able to explore the town of Castellina in Chianti which was very cute & great cheaper food too. The rooms at the hotel are very spacious.

For lunch they only offer a few small, pricey appetizers/snacks at the pool. If you like to eat 3 meals a day, be prepared to hire a private car (with limited availability) if you don’t have a rental to go in to town to eat. I really wish they offered lunch service here, or at least provided a complimentary shuttle to town.

One of the best hotels to stay at. The views were breathtaking, the dinner at the restaurant was unforgettable and super amazing. The entire experience is just a dream. I asked the hotel if they can order a flower bouquet from the local florist for my wife, and they were so kind to order it for me and place it at our dinner table.

We stayed here on our honeymoon, and the staff put a complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room on our last day, which was such a special touch. The restaurant was also delicious, and the honor bar was so convenient and well-stocked.The only drawback was that you absolutely need a car in this area as it is so remote.

The hotel was everything we hoped for and more. Stunning views of the Tuscan countryside in every direction. The rooms were luxurious and all the common areas were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is ideal to check out all the nearby sites. We would love to come back here during the summer to sit and relax by the beautiful pool.

Amazing stay!!! Our favorite part of our Italy adventure! So many beautiful details added to comfort and service! The restaurant was also wonderful! We had the tasting menu and it was pricey but generally worth it! They also did a great job helping to book our winery tours and giving us recommendations!

Lovely hotel with stunning views!
We finished our trip in Italy with this lovely hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The pool was fab and the phone service worked brilliantly. The rooms were lovely and clean. The reception staff were great and recommended a lovely wine tasting experience to us. Overall was a brilliant hotel!

good facilities....but overall too expensive .particularly the price of wine ...the dinner menu should be more varied ...the food was too rich for the average diet...so we did not eat there much.....the approach road to the hotel needs to be resurfaced urgently....so overall it was an ok experience but we will not return

A remote and beautiful setting for a peaceful hotel, whether travelling as a couple or on your own there is nowhere more resting and relaxing than Locanda le Piazze. The hotel staff made me feel welcomed and ensured I had everything I could possibly need, especially with my dairy allergy. The hotel has put in to expand and create a fitness & spa suite, I hope this is granted soon as it would round the whole experience off beautifully. If you're passing through Chianti country, I would recommend wholeheartedly making this your stop off point and if you're needing a well deserved rest where you can lie by the pool, drinking wine, reading and forgetting your cares, stay longer!

Was not told that our room was the handicap room and we paid a premium rate. No view from room terrace. Crowded pool with no view - felt clistrophobic. Website bragged about property being healthy but everyone was smoking by pool, outside rooms, etc. Didn’t feel that it was anywhere near a luxury property with the ikea furniture in rooms. Staff was very nice. Also wasn’t told about a big event taking place while we were there so there was a giant ugly white tent built 1 meter from the dining area blocking the only view on the property.

Beautiful hotel set in a stunning location overlooking the rolling Tuscany countryside. The quiet pool is perfect for chilling out and taking your mind off everything. My only one slight criticism would be the limited breakfast options.

My wife and I and another couple recently spent four days at this lovely place. Staying there was the perfect tonic between busier touring days before in Rome and after in Florence. The location in the country is beautiful, the staff was terrific and helpful, the restaurant was excellent, and lounging around the pool and grounds relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine and local cheeses was sublime. Locanda Le Piazze's location is nicely situated for short trips to nearby Siena and Castellina, among other locations. We can't wait to return.

I arrived at 11:30 pm, the concierge who was a 100% part time job student, could not register me because of lack of professionality. They initially told me, that the mini fridge was at my discretion because I am a VIP customer to Expedia.com but at the end they charged me, which was also very surprising.

This place was amazing and i can't wait to go back. it was complete quiet outside, with beautiful views of hills and mountains and hillside villages and vineyards. the complex makes you want to get out and explore it. this is one of the best places i've ever stayed. the food for breakfast and the dinners we had there were all fabulous. getting there on the hilly winding roads was the most fun i've had driving in a long time.

I can't say enough about the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The restaurant, bar, and pool were excellent. The room was clean and spacious, and we were given lots of little extras during our stay. The front desk also helped us book an excellent cooking class and wine tour. This is a place to relax, enjoy yourself, and feel pampered.

The hotel required a car to get to as it is a bit remote, but completely worth it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There are only a small amount of rooms and each were nice and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great every morning and the pool was a nice touch. The entire hotel just had a very zen vibe and was a great place to just relax. We didn't have dinner at the restaurant so can't comment on that.

Ultimate Relaxation Under the Tuscan Sun
We did a mother-daughter get away and our time here was amazing. Spent 2 nights....So relaxing, so luxurious and an amazing way to take in the countryside. Food and staff were wonderful, and the resort is a very mature, quiet calm place to be, so if you're looking for a wild, fun time with lots of things to do, this is not the place for you. Ultimate relaxation and time to take in a good book and stunning sunset. Facility is extremely clean and smells amazing. Lots of honeymooners while we were here, but everyone was polite and kept to themselves. I would certainly recommend this place if you want a zen experience in Italy! ALSO- best massage of my life was arranged with the front desk- poolside.

This property is absolutely breath taking! We celebrated our 25th anniversary here, and couldn't be happier! The property was out of the way a bit, which we liked! However, we would highly recommend renting a car to enjoy some of the surrounding towns such as Sienna and Sangimianno.
