Booked a Twin room as on route to a family holiday, room had no aircon , and where it was so hot we had the window open, unfortunately we were directly opposite a car wash so were rudely woken at 0600 when the car wash started, there was lots of noise from traffic. no mini fridge just a hole where it once was, staff were friendly but wouldn’t stay again

Solo journey, quick pit stop

It's a part of a long journey. I just stopped to sleep. The propoerty is close to a highway. So road side rooms might be noisy with some German exhaust lowers noisy cars.
The hotel is fina. With ample space of parking underneath. Great stuff.

Website only states breakfast available and parking available. Breakfast for 3 people was half the cost of the stay, way to expensive for what was provided. Parking was not well signed and very difficult, also €10 ontop of the stay. Stains and splatter marks on wall of room.

As usual, good service and location

Upon entering our room, we were welcomed by a cloud of old cigarette smell
I requested a NS room. Someone before us dod not bother to go by the rools
I went to the receptionist who was very apologetic and gave us a different room. I am very grateful for her help to change the room for us.

I have 2 negatives from my stay:
1, The road the outside the hotel is used as a drag strip at night.
2, Parking is NOT FREE, I was charged 8€. When I queried the charge they said the free parking is only on the street outside!

I had a deluxe room although very small it was quiet and comfortable.
On the not so good side if you required service at the bar in the early evening there was only one person on the desk and the bar and rightly check in got priority, so two nights after 20+ minute waits we abandoned and went to the Italian restaurant next door who were only too happy to provide said beers.

The Hotel is located conveniently in the commercial western area of Pforzheim. Windows are not soundproof, you can hear the traffic from the crossing in front of the Hotel.

Probably my worst hotel experience in Germany

The hotel location is good.
I booked for a superior twin room, which from the description it should come with a balcony. However, for some reason I got a room right in front of the elevator door and without a balcony.
The WiFi speed was terribly slow.
The breakfast is on the 6th floor and I had to find it out in the next morning when I went ask at the reception desk.
The last and the worst, when I was in the bathroom in the second morning, some guy knocked the door and cam into my room directly saying \"room service\". I had to shout at him that I did not order any room service to make him leave.
I hope no one will experience the same as I did ever again!!!

Very conveniently located near Autobahn junction. The hotel was modern, fresh and clean. The room and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable. Reception staff very helpful. Easy parking adjacent to hotel or in hotel underground car park. Excellent restaurant on site with good food, good service and reasonable prices. Would certainly stay again. Would have liked tea and coffee making facility in the room.

A modern pleasant hotel with an adjacent restaurant, close to motorway exit makes this an ideal overnight stop-off on way to Austria and Dolomites. Centre of Pforzheim is a couple of miles down the road. Useful underground car park too. Excellent breakfast on top floor gives a pleasant vista. We will use this hotel again!

The hotel was clean and there were plenty of clean towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being near a bus stop with a frequent service into town was useful. The sound insulation to the corridors was not as good as it could be, and the curtains do not close sufficiently to block out all light from outside.

Hotel Residenz- Pfortzheim Review

I enjoyed the kind and professional staff at Hotel Residenz Pforzheim. The morning buffet was an excellent value at 9 euros. I spent my week visiting my son. The staff was able to get me a minicab back to the airport. I've been in financier properties, but I never dealt with a friendlier more professional staff.

Decent hotel for budget travelers, situated just off a busy road junction. Spacious, clean room with large and really comfy beds, nice balcony and very clean bathroom. Restaurants, McDonald, Subway, KFC are nearby. A great stay and we would recommend this hotel.

Just a stopover on the way back from Croatia to the UK. Easy to check in, clean and functional, no air conditioning meant that we had to leave the window open as it was summer but being on a main road meant that it was pretty noisy.

Very old television. No stowage for clothes. Not one cork screw in hotel. Room cleaners didn't replenish dirty glasses in room. Breakfast too expensive. 9 euro's per person. Parking is 8 euro's per day. Shower stall had mold and was too small. Only one night stand for a queen bed.

Just off the Autobahn in a modern shopping and commercial park development outside Pforzheim this hotel is very good for those breaking a journey. It is not luxurious but comfortable. The adjacent Italian Restaurant is entirely satisfactory.

Nice hotel with great restaurant attached

I stayed at the Hotel Residenz during a business trip in July. I speak no German but the hotel staff all spoke very good English. No problems with check in, check out, asking about internet, etc. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was small with only a shower unit. The restaurant Spagettisimo attached is an Italian restaurant. We ate there several times since there is only a Chinese place and McDonalds nearby. The food is quite good and the portion size was very generous.

Hotel Residenz - a good value for the price

I have stayed at the Hotel Residenz several times as I have repeat business in the area. I stay for 4-5 days at a time and the staff knows me. The hotel is convenient for me and comfortable. It is not a posh hotel but I am low maintenance so it is perfect for me. I have never had any noise issues and I am light sleeper. Several restaurants and lots of retail shops within a short walk. I would recommend this hotel unless you need 4-5 star accommodations.

Diner gegeten bij het italiaanse restaurant. Hotel+diner+ontbijt alles ok.
Parkeren onder hotel moet je wel betalen.
Kan 1 opmerking maken: dat er s avonds laat enkele auto’s in de buurt erg hard rijden met zeer veel lawaai zodat je het door het dubbel glas nog kan horen.
Het hotel kan daar natuurlijk niets aan doen behalve klagen en dat hebben ze ook gedaan.

Das Zimmer war total in Ordnung, allerdings nicht um 15:00 Uhr fertig, sondern um 17:30 Uhr, so dass wir ewig in der Lobby warten mussten mit einigen anderen. Das Personal selbst überfreundlich, nützt halt wenig, wenn wir nicht aufs Zimmer können… Frühstück war prima!

Een prima standaard doorreishotel: ideaal als je dicht bij de snelweg wilt overnachten en gewoon een eenvoudige kamer zoekt. Geen poespas, maar alles wat je nodig hebt voor een tussenstop. Het naastgelegen Italiaanse restaurant Allegro is een aanrader en maakt het verblijf helemaal goed.

Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war defekt. Der bereitgestellte Ersatzkühlschrank verursachte nachts extrem laute Geräusche, sodass ich mehrfach davon wach wurde.
Das Kochfeld war verschmutzt.
Die Küche war komplett leer – es gab weder Teller, Gläser noch irgendeine Küchenausstattung.
Statt des gebuchten Zweibettzimmers gab es nur ein Bett. Und alles war für eine Person hergerichtet. 1 Bett, 1 Bettzeug, 1 Badetuch, 1 Handtuch und ein Glas (Ich habe für 2 Erwachsene bezahlt!!)
Im Badezimmer fehlte ein Föhn.
Aus dem Siphon tropfte Wasser auf den Boden.
Auf dem Boden befanden sich unerklärliche schwarze Flecken.
Die Gardinen im Zimmer waren schon halb runtergerissen.
Bereits beim Betreten des Zimmers sowie besonders nachts herrschte ein starker, fauliger Geruch nach Fäkalien, der so intensiv war, dass ich davon aufgewacht bin.

Sehr einfacher Checkin. Sauberes und großes Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Parkplatz auf der Straße aber einfach was freies zu finden. Viele Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Sehr gute Betten. Etwas laut bis ca. 23 Uhr wegen des Lokals unten. Danach sehr ruhig. Insgesamt für eine Nacht ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schöne Atmosphäre. Das Hotel selbst (bis auf die Lobby und höherpreisigen Zimmer, teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Das Betz war sehr durchgelegen und dürfte erneurt werden, Klimaanlage hatte Aussetzer, funktionierte.

Frühstück sehr schlecht und einfach. Aufbackbrötchen, Saftkonzentrat, kein frischer Saft, sehr einfacher Aufschnitt. Auch hier sehr freundliches Personal, alles sehr sauber.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt okay.

Meine Bitte um ein ruhiges Zimmer konnte erfüllt werden. Das war mir wichtig, weil ich geräuschempfindlich bin. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist es ruhig, das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, das ist nicht zu ändern. Alles war sauber, das Bett angenehm. Ich habe gut geschlafen. Den Balkon fand ich gut, auch wenn man den Nachbarn etwas nahe kommt. Ich würde dort wieder buchen, wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Der Balkon war zur Tankstelle hin weshalb wir ihn nicht benutzt haben - laut und auf dem Präsentierteller.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, hatte für den Preis allerdings mehr erwartet. Aufgeschnittenes Obst war nicht frisch (bspw. braune Ananas), Rührei hat geschmeckt, Kaffee war gut, insgesamt ausbaufähig, es hat mich nicht angelacht.
