Probably one of the largest hotel rooms we've enjoyed in Europe, and really nicely decorated. Natural timber and modern finishes, with cool textured feature walls and murals made it quite memorable. Staying a little further out from the city centres in Europe typically gives you better value.

Ad-hoc hotel search revealed this hidden place close to A8 highway which offered a Restaurant open on Monday, and the food quality, service and presentation was outstanding. I really liked they adjusted the dish due to my liking of Swabian treats and Asparagus, great job.

This hotel was wonderful in many regards. One thing, though, it would be better if evening meals were served on the weekend. The town is practically dead then and finding food is difficult, especially if you don't have a car (as we didn't).

Lovely location, beautifully quiet, friendly and very helpful staff, but one thing guests need to know is that evening meals are not generally available to individuals on weekends.
Not generally... but the wonderful chef did feed us on our first night after we arrived hungry and tired, for which we were very very grateful.

Excellent Hotel with Superb Dining!

Wonderful hotel in cute town! Our room was completely modern, clean, super comfy and spacious! Appears recently renovated. The beds were so comfortable! The shower was amazing and our family of five had plenty of room. The only down side is no air conditioning (which is likely rarely an issue but there was a heat wave during our stay.) Fortunately the room had a couple of fans so we were quite comfortable regardless. We had dinner at the on site hotel and everything was amazing!!! The food, drinks and service were all top notch! There was a mini trampoline and see saw on the lawn which we all enjoyed as well. Cute little town and a great place to stay when flying in/out of Stuttgart. Super close to the airport and ample on site parking at the hotel. We love it!

This place is great and in a beautiful litle village. The personnel is very friendly and welcoming.
I did find 2 down sides to the hotel both that can be fixed fairly easily.
Firstly , noise wise, the sound travels from the halls into the rooms and possibly from other rooms as well, it is possible this can be fixed by simply getting a proper seal around the doors.
The second is a personnel dislike, I was woken up in the middle of the night by a strong smell of perfume that had invaded my room, possibly sprayed in the corridors and spent the rest of the night with the windows wide open to try and gett rid of the persistent odour.

Comfortable hotel in a quiet small town

The hotel is close to the airport and it takes 20 minutes by local bus. You can go easily with a smartphone app called VVS. People at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent. You can enjoy the dinner with beer!

Parking is not for faint of heart, but they actually have hotel parking. Nice service in the hotel, the restautant, and at the bar. The decor isna little dated, but is nice and in good condition. Nice bakery across the street as wll as a nice casual italian restaurant.

The stadf is freindly but the hotel needs major updates. We decided to spend a few extra buck for the last night of our vacation in hopes of ending the trip in a a bang. What we got was a subpar hotel that was way overpriced compaired to the \"cheaper\" hotl s we stayed at in the previous 10 days.

The hotel is outdated. The carpets in the hallways are really dirty. The restaurant was the most expensive one we ate at during the entire trip and the food was just OK.

Quaint hotel with real German hospitality

Had a great stay here! It's definitely not a modern hotel but it has a really good German vibe; the room was super clean and warm, the bathrooms are brand new (they were renovating rooms when I staying there too so I think they will all be done soon) and the common areas are clean. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth the 12 EUR I paid for it! Delicious and fresh! I will definitely stay there again!

Nice stay just outside of Stuttgart

Not far from Stuttgart and easy to go around Stuttgart area (but you need a car). Parking is available but it's first comes first served basis. Therefore if you arrive late, you may have difficulty to find a place (when we checked in around 16:00 there were several places but when we came back around 20:00 after sightseeing of Christmas market, there was only one space left.)
Staff at the reception was very friendly and the room was comfortable (a little bit cold).

Hotel is convenient distance from freeway and some airport. We had the double twin room with a balcony (75 Euro incl. fees). Everything was very clean; great wifi; super nice staff. Can't remember their names (the couple from Canada) but they were great; very helpful. There is a parking garage under the hotel and we got last spot ... not sure what would have happened otherwise. I'm pretty sure parking was free. Neighborhood is very quiet and safe; we opened windows and listened to some nice church bells chime every 15 minutes. Attached restaurant is a bit pricey but has good food.

The hotel was lovely the staff were amazing and helpful. Close to bus stop and bus took you to train to get to stuttgart centre. Our room was suppose to have have private balcony but we ended up getting the top floor which has small ceilings so a few headaches from banging heads on them. So im guessing the rest of the rooms would have been 10/10. Not alot to do locally,.

Overall, it wasn't bad. The staff was friendly, but the room wasn't very comfortable. I couldn't draw the shades entirely so the room was well lit while I was trying to sleep. The hotel isn't easy to access and the parking is difficult to get in and out of. I thought I had booked a room with breakfast included, but I found out it cost extra and I was not happy about that.

Cleanliness and hotel personnel were excellent. The balcony view was nothing special. The shower was way too small and lacking water pressure. A second pillow would have made the bed more comfortable. If you have a morning departure the 6 am departures will not bother you; nor will the 7am multiple ''wake up city'' church bells. The food in the restaurant was some of the most flavorful of our Germany-Strasbourg trip; and we ate at some ''chef multi course restaurants. The orange flavored appertiffe will clear your head and is delicious. Great zweiblerost braten with home fries; and an innovative and tasty pork ravioli.

GREAT PLACE!!

This was such a nice place to stay.

I arrived into town late at night, got my things into my room and then went to the small attached Bar/restaurant to grab a bite. I was told that the kitchen was closed but they asked the cook if he had anything available. When she returned, she said that the cook would be happy to make something. I asked for whatever was easy and available and within a few minutes she brought out a fantastic late night dinner.

The check in and out process was smooth, easy, and very friendly.

I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for a mid town and out of the way place to stay.

Small parking garage, but we were directed to the back lot and plenty of parking there. The back led through the restaurant to the hotel. Great customer service from the front desk staff. Room had a basket of apples and gummy sheep on the pillows--a real nice touch! One chair in the room--most comfortable chair I've ever sat on!! Had dessert & drinks in the restaurant (even though late and it was closing, they still served us). Shower was a bit small, but had plenty of hot water. Had breakfast, the standard fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, juice & coffee. It was good and reasonable priced.

The hotel, food and room were fantastic. The houses behind the dining area had wonderful gardens and flower boxes. I would definitely stay here again! We had a little difficulty finding the hotel. The map we used was incorrect. The glassed in dining area and garden is on the residential side of the block. The primary entrance to the hotel offset and is not visible from the street. You have to go down a drive that is next to the bank on the corner of the block.

Am Sonntag ist der Gasthof geschlossen, andere Gasthöfe auch, wir wurden auf den 3 km entfernten Gasthof Hirsch hingewiesen, der eine total überteuerte und reduzierte Sonntagskarte hat. Es gibt auch keinen Service/ Rezeption am Sonntag im Hotel. Uns fehlten Handtücher, die jedoch nach Anruf auf einem Mobiltelefon von einer älteren Dame gebracht wurden. Für 2 Personen gibt es auch nur 1 Stuhl im Comfortzimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut.
Im Duschbad fehlt eine verstellbare Haltung in Kopfhöhe, so dass man die Dusche während des Duschens halten muss.

Oppholdet i seg selv og hotellet var bra. Men mest irriterende var at kirken måtte markere hver halv time gjennom hele natten.
I motsetning til flyplassen som ligger også i nærheten. Den hat en nattero mellom cirka 11 om kvelden og 5/6 om morgen.

Sehr gute Unterkunft. Ich hatte mit vier anderen Frauen ein 5-Bettzimmer und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Eine Kombination aus traditioneller und moderner Unterkunft und Einrichtung. Das Frühstücksbuffet am nächsten morgen war sehr Abwechslungsreich und lecker. Besonders süß fand ich die Brötchen in Herzform. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Falsche Zimmerbilder zum Kundenfang: Mein Zimmer sah komplett anders aus als man es von den Bildern hätte erwarten können. Mein Zimmer war weniger Hotelzimmer und eher abgerocktes Monteurszimmer. Das Frühstück wird ebenfalls nicht in einem der auf den Bildern gezeigten Räumlichkeiten eingenommen sondern eher in der Kategorie Anstellkammer. Die Tische waren schmutzig. Alles in allem wirklich das liebloseste „Hotel“, in dem ich in den letzten 5 Jahren war. Der Preis ist eine echte Unverschämtheit.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstücksangebot ist sehr auswahlreich und ausgewogen.

Nachdem man gesehen hat das viele Muslime im Hotel sind hat man das Frühstück umgeplant und auch Geflügel Aufschnitt und Geflügel Wurst angeboten.

Diese Umstellung seitens des Hotels war einfach nur grandios. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Komfortables und vor allem sauberes Zimmer. Freundliches Personal; als Frühaufsteher habe ich sogar vor dem eigentlichen Frühstück einen Kaffee erhalten (keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer). Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.
