I had internationally traveled and was under the impression that my room would atleast come with a refridgerator and microwave. I had purchased the most expensive room available and it did not come with these things. Because my budget was tight and i could not afford the restaurant daily, I actually lost 5 pounds during my stay and didnt eat very well . I was unable to cook like I had hoped to and also keep anything needed to be kept cold. That aside the trip otherwise was seemless, except the washing machine experience was iffy. The staff was nice and although listed as a bilingual facility they are not entirely. But they do try to help if you don't know german . Overall for staying in a country i've never stayed in before I was happy to be in a safe, quiet and otherwise had an exceptional experience. My cousin in the area treated me to a meal at the restaurant in the hotel and it was good. Thank you DoblerGreen for the experience. I just wish i had a refrigerator and a way to feed myself better then only room temperature prepackaged food without purchasing from the restaurant.

We just needed a bed for the night passing through and it was made up for one person. Arrived 6pm Monday evening and the restaurant was closed. Staff were great and soon sorted the room, could have provided a toastie and gave directions to a restaurant 5 minutes away

When we checked out after the seconde night and complained, we were told that we should have asked for the room to be cleaned????

It was convenient to visit family, walking into Gerlingen and we felt like friends with the entire staff after spending eleven days with them.
The daily breakfast offerings were great and plentiful. We enjoyed seeing the sunsets from the bar area and “teaching” the staff to make Bloody Mary cocktails. 😍
The only thing that was upsetting was the constant/daily noise from remodeling. It was disturbing in the awaking time in the morning and when we wanted to take rests in the afternoon. Hopefully they will get it all completed soon.
If we get the chance to return to the Stuttgart area again, we will be glad to return to DoblerGreen Hotel.

Hotel exceeded our expectations

Having read the rather mixed reviews of the hotel, we weren't sure what to expect, but the hotel was a fantastic choice and it far exceeded our expectations. They upgraded our room without us even asking and our room was huge and had a useful kitchen with fridge. We visited in the middle of the heat wave so I asked if we could have a fan in our room and the housekeeping staff provided TWO fans which made sleeping quite comfortable. Thank you to the housekeeping staff for the two fans as they made such a difference! The room and hotel were clean. There is free secure underground parking and the breakfast is fantastic with a very good range of choice. There is also an excellent authentic Italian restaurant attached to the hotel (which is closed on Sundays however) which serves the best pizza (baked in a wood fired oven) at such a reasonable price. The pizzas were amazing! Overall, we couldn't fault the hotel and we would happily stay there again. There is also a very pleasant sitting out area with bean-bag chairs and tables. Sadly for us though, there were always smokers out there so we didn't use the area often. It would be nice to have at least half of the area as a NON -smoking area.

Poor service and not the best experience.

We stayed here for one night only passing down through to Bulgaria. The restaurant was dark with some dim fancy lighting but the staff didn't bother to serve us, We will not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone either.

The info said there was a safe but could not find one for love nor money even after asking at reception who assured us there was one but could not find it wherev they said.

We stayed at DoblerGreen Hotel for 2 nights. It's a bit out of the way from Stuttgart but accessible by car and there is a tram about 10 mins away. Quite area. Anyway it was busy when we arrived (around 11pm) as the receptionist was also the barman. Nevertheless we were attended to after about 10 mins. Room was clean. Wifi was a good strong signal. Breakfast was ok - the usual cold German continental selection. No hot except for boiled or scrambled eggs.

There was free underground parking although the first night it was almost full due to a conference at the hotel I believe. The 2nd night was much quieter with more parking. Nearby free parking is available if needed around the hotel.

One gym was available on the ground floor which was functional and equipment was fairly modern. Overall a pleasant stay at the hotel.

A place to sleep

Due to family affairs I stayed a couple of days. It was conveniently located for me close to my family's place and close (5 min walk) to public transportation. Location is not especially nice but safe.
The room size was sufficient, the bed firm but comfy, secure WiFi worked flawlessly (I did not use the flatscreen TV). There was even a small kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge and mini dishwasher. Unfortunately there was not a single cup/plate/pot/fork/spoon/knife in the closet to use it.
The bathroom was small, shower worked well. Hand soap and shower gel were provided. For international travelers: you need an adapter to use the power outlets (f.i. shaver, laptop).
There is central heating but do not expect air conditioning. The room received enough sun to heat up during the day but you could leave the window open to cool off during the night.
A few things could improve the experience: one of the halogen lights in the bathroom was broken and was never replaced, there was no light at bedside, the deposit box operated only with a special key which was not available, in the closet under the TV was an empty beer bottle which was never removed, the vending machine in the stairwell was almost empty and never restocked, at checkout first it was not recognized that the room was already prepaid but then it was easily corrected.

Great start to my stay and then...

I checked into this hotel very quickly late. Room was spacious and seemed quite nice. I went straight to bed, which was very nice and great sleep with nice pillows on the firm side, which I prefer. Reception staff was also very nice. Breakfast buffet is basic. Not much hot food besides scrambled eggs, but that was fine. My initial feedback on arrival was positive. However, a few aspects made the experience more lackluster, unfortunately. First, a week before, I had inquired by email whether they had a fitness room for guests to use. No answer. Upon checking in, I asked about this again, and I was told there were two. I decided to get up 1 hour earlier to go work out the following day...only to find out that the two fitness rooms on site...were both closed for repair. I was told that they would be available later that day, but that was not the case. I pick my hotel rooms based on gym availability, so it matters to me. So, I went back to my room and stretched then instead...just to see pieces of crumbled paper underneath the bed, indicating that the room was not as clean as one may think. Disappointing! Also, be aware! Bottle of water in room with no price list. But there is a 2 Euro. Not much, but it's the principle. Then, on checkout, had to wait from 6:44a till 7:06a. Seemed a bit overdrawn when you are on a tight schedule. Made my train with less than 5 secs to spare without valid ticket. Not bad, but unfortunately, too uneven and too much of a risk when on business.

Reasonable price for a business trip stay

Fairly easy to find, better value than many around Stuttgart. Easy commute to Ditzingen, Weilimdorf or Zuffenhausen where there are many industrial estates and expensive hotels. Staff are helpful and friendly, but the restaurant is a bit limited - although it has improved a lot since the 2014-15 reviews.

i stayed in this hotel for several nights, the area has nothing to offer and far from anything, but it was close to the business we were visiting.
the person next to me was very noisy even at 24:00, the night staff were no help at all and also day staff, i asked to change rooms but it was not acceptable to them, when all i wanted was a normal night sleep.
the wifi is bad. breakfast okay, hotel has parking.

I didn't think this was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, but they smelled stale like my old dorm room in college. To be fair, I didn't expect this place to be great but I stayed here because the Mercure down the street was busy and there wasn't any other place nearby on hotels.com. The Mercure is much nicer. Probably next time I would look for a place farther away if the Mercure is full.

In dem großen Kasten kommt man sich fast verloren vor. Besonders dann, wenn das Personal sehr \"zurückhaltend\" ist. Mehr Gästeinformation wäre hilfreich. ich möchte meine Unzufriedenheit mit meinem Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel zum Ausdruck bringen. Während meines letzten Aufenthalts wurde mein Zimmer trotz mehrfacher Zusagen Ihres Teams nicht gereinigt. Dies hat dazu geführt, dass ich nach langen Arbeitstagen abends jedes Mal persönlich zur Rezeption gehen musste, um auf den Zustand meines Zimmers aufmerksam zu machen.

Dieser wiederholte Ablauf war nicht nur unangenehm, sondern auch unzumutbar für einen Hotelgast. Ich bitte Sie daher, diese Angelegenheit zu prüfen und sicherzustellen, dass solche Vorkommnisse in Zukunft vermieden werden.

Tolles Hotel mit engagierten freundlichen Personal

Ich kann keine der negativen oder mässigen Bewertungen nachvollziehen. Allein die abendliche Ankunft war schon einladend, der innenhof mit Tischchen,Laternen und Deko wirkte einladend, die gemütliche Lobby war ähnlich gestaltet. Freundliche Begrüßung mit angemessenem Smalltalk, anschließend bekamen wir zwei schöne Zimmer. Das Standart Zimmer war modern mit einem französischen Bett das durch den Einbau in die Ecke, den kleinen Raum durchaus großzügiger erscheinen ließ. Möbel in heller Buche tragen auch dazu bei. Bad war angemessen groß und sehr sauber. Das zweite Zimmer war ein Executive -Raum der wirklich großzügig und sehr modern und schick gestaltet war. Dunkle Möbel, ein tolles hohes Bett mit hervorragenden Matratzen, ein großes Bad, ein dunkler glatter Fußboden ohne Teppich was mein Wunsch war als Allergiker und große Schränke ein toller Fernseher sowie eine Kitchenette mit Kühlschrank Mikrowelle und einem Wasserkocher. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig so wie das ganze Hotel tatsächlich nicht hellhörig ist. Das Frühstück war fantastisch, tolle Auswahl, viel guten Käse, Salate, Tomate Mozzarella, kleine Salate und vieles mehr und hervorragenden Kaffee ich hätte zwei Stunden frühstücken können wenn es meine Zeit zugelassen hätte Punkt dazu kommt sehr freundliches Personal im Frühstücksbereich. Ein echter Kritikpunkt ist für mich allerdings das Restaurant. Ich verstehe das große Lob das teilweise im Internet ist nicht wirklich. Zwar war die Pizza okay, aber mehr auch nicht.

Die Bilder vom Hotel wurden ziemlich aufgehellt. So kommt der dunkle und aus meiner Sicht nicht sehr schöne Teppich nicht so stark zur Geltung, wie es in echt ist. Man richt, dass im Zimmer mal geraucht wurde. In unserem Zimmer war außen ein Abdunklungsrollo, welches sich nicht hochfahren ließ, sodass es den ganzen Tag dunkel im Zimmer war. Das Zimmer war sauber, besonders das Bad. Die Rezeption hat auch wenigstens versucht das Verdunklungsrollo zu reparieren. Also Entschädigung gab es Getränke. Zum Glück waren wir nicht viel auf dem Zimmer, aber ich denke andernfalls wäre auch ein Zimmertausch möglich gewesen.

Wir waren zum 4. Mal hier, immer jeweils für 1 Nacht. Von daher kann Service und Personal nicht umfassend bewertet werden, da es nur 2 Kontakte jeweils gab. Das Personal war dabei aber kompetent und sehr freundlich.
Das Hotel ist sauber, wenn auch mit deutlichen Gebrauchsspuren. Für unseren Bedarf jedoch ausreichend.

Ich hatte extra bei der Buchung angegeben, dass ich mit einem Hund reise. Deshalb fehlte für mich vorab die Höhe der Zusatzkosten dafür, was nicht wenig war. Als man mir die Karte für die Tiefgarage übergab, wurde ich nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass das mit hohen Kosten verbunden ist. Auch da war ich bei der Bezahlung geschockt.
Sehr nettes Personal, aber insgesamt kein sehr guter Zustand des Hotels, wie z.B. komplett lose Toilettenbrille, kein ausreichender Sonnenschutz, keine Klimatisierung der kleinen Räume, keine Nachttischlampe am Bett.

Slechts één stoel die ook nog haast door zijn poten zakt als je gaat zitten. Zwakke nachtkastjes . Slechts aan een kant een nachtkastjeslamp. Bed was prima. Ontbijt goed.

Gibt bessere Hotels

Der Parkplatz ist ziemlich teuer. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. In meinem Zimmer Warndreieck Teppich voller flecke. Internet läuft sehr gut. Ansonsten würde ich vermutlich lieber ein anderes Hotel in Zukunft nehmen

Na ja, geht besser...

Na ja, sauber warxes einigermaßen, nur die Aufsteller W-lan und die anderen Sachen auf dem Schreibtisch klebten vor grind. Dies sollte unbedingt gereinigt werden. Der Schreibtisch war auch sehr schmudelig. Der rest war ganz in Ordnung.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Der Allgemeineindruck war sehr gut. Abends war eine Hochzeit im Restaurant. Daher war es nachts noch etwas länger laut. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Es war alles sehr modern und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war geoß genug für 2 und die dusche ist sauber. Frühstück ich hervorragend und der Preis dafür angemessen

Bei 36°Grad nach mehrmaligen bitten nach einem Ventilator wurde kein Verständnis gezeigt und heruausgegeben .
