Zimmer war gut, tolles Bett gute Matratze und Kissen....... Das war es mit gutem in diesem Hotel.... 14€ zusätzlich für die Tiefgarage weil alles Parkplätze vor dem Hotel MC Donalds gehören!..... Frühstück keinen Sitzplatz bekommen. Asiatische Reisegruppe war zu Gast..... Buffet war schlicht weg leer. Man konnte sich dann einen einen Tisch setzen wo gerade ein Gast aufgestanden ist und mit den anderen Gästen weiter frühstücken. Während man am 6er Tisch saß wurde der Tisch neu eingedeckt und mit Reiniger der Tisch besprüht. Ich habe dann meine Tasse und Teller hoch gehoben, damit mein trockenes Brötchen und der Kaffee nicht abbekommen. Sowas habe ich in keinem anderen Hotel bis jetzt erleben müssen...zum Glück

We booked 2 rooms for a 2 night trip , but the room was not habitable extremely hot with no ac, dirty with stains on carpet and mattress, breakfast with insects on food , the lady at kitchen used same gloves for cleaning tables and handle bread and other pastries , we checked out after first night , none of the kids and elderly relative slept AVOID this hotel and thank yourself later for reading this review.

It’s a basic hotel. It’s works but it’s not amazing. For a single night it worked fine. Car parking was great and the staff were great.
The room was so very hot, granted it was a very hot day but there is no ac, the only saving point was a fan hidden in the wardrobe.
Hotel is on top of a McDonald’s and has an unrelated restaurant on the premises.
To be fair this area of stuttgart is very industrial and clearly the hotel is for business stays, which I’m sure it’s fine for.

I checked into my room. I came back after dinner and it was occupied by 2 people with my luggage in the room. This was at midnight. The gave me another room and surprise ! It was also occupied my 2 people. On the 3rd attempt they gave me a third room that was thankfully unoccupied ………..My room also was not made

The hotel was functional and located great for the Porsche museum. We hired a car and it’s around 40mins to the airport although it was less in the way back…Sat nav routes change. It’s pretty dull around the hotel, and there’s no near electric charge points which would have been useful.

Only a short walk to the Porsche museum makes this a super hotel for any car enthusiasts visiting Stuttgart. Also, with a McDonalds next door, there are food options on hand! Could do with A/C though. It was incredibly hot during our July visit

The check process took well over an hour and a half as our rooms weren’t ready. We were 30 minutes early. Then just at the time that we were told to check in the front desk staff had changed. The staff member who was then dealing with it all had no idea what was going on as more and more people kept showing up. Eventually got the room keys and one room was already occupied. Had to go back to reception to sort this out but was given another room promptly.

Once in the room however it was fine. Done exactly what was required, clean and bed was comfy. We were there for the football during Euro2024 so wasn’t spending much time in the room. Never really explored the area around it but it’s dominated with the porche site museum. S Bahn train stop is 5 minutes walk away and then 10 minutes into the main station.

At check in we were not given much information.
First time we’ve stayed in a hotel where you have to ask for room service. This was not pointed out to us & after our first night out of 4, we had to ask for clean towels. Still no-one told us we had to ask for housekeeping to come for the following day. When this was pointed out, the next day was a Sunday & was told no-one would be cleaning that day. Checked out on the Monday, so no cleaning done for the whole stay.
Room was also very small with no room for unpacking.

This is our second time here we had a very great time here the room is nice. The staff are super kind and friendly the only drawback is that we need to pay for the parking. There is a parking in the alley, not far from the hotel that we can park for free.

Cheap and cheerful. Clean enough. Thankfully there was a fan in the room and although not ideal due to the noise, leaving it on all night was a god send. A little noisy but otherwise it would have been too warm. Air conditioning would be good.
No fridge or kettle.

Arrived late evening and no parking availabile. Had to park about a ten minute walk away which wasn't too bad.

Great location to visit the Porsche Museum which was our main reason for visiting Stuttgart.

It’s a clean safe hotel for £50 a night with good underground parking whilst you visit the Porsche museum. The breakfast is terrible but there’s a Maccas next door so all is not lost. Does what you’d expect for a hotel at this level and does it well.

I appreciated that the sofa was set up for my 4 year old.
Very thin wall, indeed, can hear our neighbour's noises.
Bed was so-so, but the pillow and duvet made up for it.
Clean bathroom and room. Great value.
Did not hear any noise from outside.
Please include in the check in instructions that the entry is down the ramp and please communicate how to exit the garage.

The room was booked for 2 people, but only had one pillow and blanket. The pillows were feather-filled and smelled bad. The fridge didn't work. There was no information how to reach the front desk from the room, so we had to go all the way back downstairs to inform them about the missing bedding.

A one night stop after visiting the Porsche museum, which is within easy walking distance. Unfortunately the pleasant Italian restaurant connected to the hotel was closed on Sunday, so not wanting to go any distance we were reduced to MacDonalds, which is next door. The hotel bar was open though, so our burgers were washed down well.

Porsche museum visit

I arrived at 1:00 but your not allowed to check in until 2:00. So went to visit the Porsche museum for a couple of hours. The museum and the station is about a 10 min walk away. Came back to check in and there is a fair amount of renovations taking place the noise from hammers saws etc will keep you from any form of rest.

There is a maccas next door which was handy it closes at 1 am. I couldn’t sleep the room was hot and stuffy (it was a hot summer day). So midnight caramel ice cream it is.

The hotel was close to Porsche and that’s what we needed. For the price of the hotel was ok. Common in Germany to not expect air conditioning- this hotel did not have A/C but the smokers were right below our window that needed to be open due to warm room and the Golden Arches of McDonald’s illuminated our room with a yellow haze. Taxi service to and from the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly,

Our room was located on first floor just above the main entry to the hotel and to McDonald's restaurant which is in the same building. It was noisy and we could smell cigarettes pretty much all night as smokers were using the area next to entry to smoke. The room was warm so we had to keep the window open which made it worse. Bathroom sink drained extremely slowly. Also, the room was pre-paid however they charged us again upon arrival. We were tired and did not notice until next day, we thought they were placing a security hold on the card. The manager refunded the money without any problems the next day, nevertheless had we not noticed the hotel would have charged us twice.

Accessible by train with a short walk from Porche museum. Spring mattress was too soft. Perhaps too old as well. The male receptionist on 17th Sep was too rude when asked to get the sheets changed. He started making us realize that demanding change of sheets against the very special hotel booking rate we have received is inappropriate. We booked the hotel on the rates available on Hotels.com without discount. We stayes there for 3 nights. After an argument sheets were changed.

Perfect for Porsche Museum Visit

If you are going to Stuttgart to visit the Porsche Museum this place is perfect. It is about 300 meters to the Museum, which I highly recommend you visit if you have only a small interest in Porsches.

The room had a interesting layout which made it so you can't watch tv from the bed properly but I never turned it on anyway.

There is a McD's literally 5 steps out the front door of the lobby but is oddly not open for breakfast until 8:30am. There are a few other small places to eat very close by that looked good including an Italian place connected to the hotel lobby.

Booked because it is close to the Porsche museum & s bahn, but was surprised how good it was, the location is not the best but it has secure parking at a small daily charge, an Italian restaurant next door, a Turkish take away and a McDonalds nearby.
I found the rooms to be clean, everything worked as it should, the breakfast was good and the staff all very good (All speak good English.
There is a PC in the lobby which is free to use and the hotel wifi is free.

Was really disappointed with this one - picked here to stay close by to Porsche. Honestly it would have been better to stay in the city and just hop the train. It was about a 1 mile walk from the train station/Porsche to the hotel. We asked for a shuttle to get to the airport and it had to be scheduled (not provided as their write up indicated).

Our room was directly over the restaurant next door and people were drinking and yelling until 2am in the morning. Worse yet, there is no AC (which I'm used to in Germany) so we had to keep the window open and everyone was smoking directly under our room so we breathed in smoke all night. It was truly miserable. Someone had at some point smoked in our room also and there was a pile of about 20 cigarette butts directly outside our window.... it was pretty disgusting.

When we took a shower, the water wouldn't drain quickly. We had to take pauses in our shower and washing our hair to let the water drain so it wouldn't overflow onto the floor.

Great hotel for the Porsche/Mercedes Museum

Great hotel and good location for a visit to the Porsche Museum a few hundred yards down the road, and a taxi ride away from the Mercedes Museum. There is a train stop at the Porsche Museum to get you into the centre of Stuttgart (easy to purchase tickets in the station machine). Parking is in the underground garage not the surface one which is in fact the McDonalds car park. Adjoining the hotel is a McDonalds and an Italian restaurant and the hotel bar appears to stay open whilst anyone is drinking.

The room was good for the price. It was an easy walk to the Porsche museum. The weather was very hot and there was no air conditioning, so it contributed to a sort of negative feeling. There is a good Italian restaurant on the property and a McDonalds. Easy to get to and to get back on the highway after the visit. Easy parking.

We had 2 problems with this hotel: The room wifi was extremely poor, and the front desk was unable to help other than to suggest I work in the lobby area, where it was fine. Secondly, the lighting in the room was poor, so reading in bed is really not on. Does no-one else read in bed?

Place to stay when visiting the Porsche factory

We needed a place to stay nearby Porsche. This hotel is a five minute walk away. We made this reservation over three months before with a specific request for two single beds. When we got there we were told none were available. Reservation also included free parking but we were charged anyways.

The room's furniture is quite cheap, TV is amazingly small and only gets German channels. The most annoying thing is the lighting. The whole was lit by the dim light of a desk lamp. Nothing more!!! It's impossible to read in bed. The bathroom is fair. Nothing fancy but clean.
For the same price you'll have a much better stay at any Ibis.

Beware of booking the Achat Hotel in Stuttgart

The room I requested/booked was unacceptable & no other room was available. I was forced to find another hotel late at night. I was charged more that I should have been because the hotel was sleazy & in a questionable neighborhood which made it a very uncomfortable experience. I was traveling with my 13 year old grandson & we did not feel safe.

Very efficient budget business hotel

Very conveniently located from the city centre and only 10-15 minutes by train from the City Centre.

There are no shops in the vicinity of the hotel but I was prepared and bought some food from supermarket from the city centre.

Room was basic but very clean and while located just off the main road, you don't hear much noise at all.

Highly recommend for business people on budget.

We stayed there for 5 days as we were visiting family for Christmas who live a 5min drive away. As we slept in (past 10am) on most days, the housekeeper came, realised we were in the room, and left. Each time we managed to ask for clean towels before they left hastily. Subsequently they did not return to clean our room so our room was pretty much uncleaned the whole 5 days we were there. There was no reception between 24th Dec to 26th Dec so we could not speak to anyone about our room either. It was useful to have a MacDonalds in the same building although it can get a bit noisy in the night. Overall,I would say you get what you pay for.

We chose this hotel only because it could save cost. The location is not good, only near Porsche. The room is very small and doesn't smell good. The lock is open by a key, even not a room card... The lift is old, slow dark. Their parking place is charged for 6euro per day. All in all, besides the price, I will not recommend this hotel.

Rooms are way too small. It was like being in prison. They also dont give you one big blanket like a normal bed...they give you 2 sleeping bags for blankets, I mean who does that?!! I love Germany because of Porsche but this hotel was terrrible. Sorry:(

This hotel is near the highway if you just need a place to stay and aren't too interested in the city. It's right next to a McDonalds (ew), and there is a restaurant/bar in the hotel, but we chose to walk 10 min to a nice little restaurant/bar up the road. We had some issues with our wifi, but they do have a computer available in the lobby too. The room was small but clean. There is a fee to park here, unless you want to risk it and park in the McDonalds parking lot. The service was mixed, we met a very nice receptionist, and then there was one woman that, it seemed, was doing everything she could not to help us, or the other guests waiting at the front desk.

A little difficult to find but the location is excellent if going to the Porsche museum. Very good buffet breakfast, clean room, nice bathroom, helpful staff.

Bad experience

The pictures displayed on the internet which was the deciding factor for booking the hotel does not display the real picture of the hotel. I was quite disappointed when I arrived at 00H30 at the hotel to find a place that is not clean and located right next to McDonalds. You are greeted by dirty old carpets and the location of the hotel is nothing to write home about. The fact that I arrived so late at the hotel forced me to stay there as I was too tired to look for another hotel.
The first thing that the hotel ask you is to pay your account in full in the last 25 years that I have been travelling to Europe this was the first time ever as I have always settled my account upon checking out from the hotel.
Right below my window was the meeting and smoking area of the staff members and they can be quite noisy.
The breakfast was not good at all with limited choices.
I would not recommend this hotel to any of my colleagues or business partners.

Good budget business hotel, bit far from center

Pros
- Clean, value for money hotel
- Next to a great little Italian restaurant, reasonably priced good food
- McDonalds next door too
- Free & fast Wifi in room (about 8-10mbps)
- Close to Porsche Museum

Cons
- Away from city center (10 min walk to S-bahn train station, 20 minute transit to city center)
- Frequency of trains to the main station can be upto every 30 minutes on weekends
- In a mainly commercial area, so the the supermarket & restaurants were a 20 minute walk in Zuffenhausen

Less than 1km from Porsche

We were interested in the Porsche museum and this was very close! Not much to look at outside but nice inside and reasonable rates for parking and breakfast being included. Breakfast was very good.

Closest hotel to Porsche factory

The only reason I stayed here was it's close proximity to the Porsche plant and museum. Everything else about this hotel was forgettable.

One uplifting thing was the Italian restaurant adjoining the hotel. Decor was ugly. But the food and prices were very favorable.
