We really enjoyed our stay here & found the food & staff service to be exceptional. We booked a package with breakfast included & it was well worth the extra money. There was every you could think of.
We also ate in the dining room for a few meals & found the choices & service to be excellent.. they made us feel like it was fine dining.
Having a train station right there was a bonus. If you don’t like to drive downtown & navigate finding parking, the train is a great option & much quicker.
Would definitely come back again & recommend highly for others

Far exceeded our expectations! We expected a basic holiday inn but this was far superior. Clean, well maintained, modern, sleek and stylish. We used the bar, the restaurant and breakfast room and all were fab. We don’t usually eat in hotels as we prefer to explore but we didn’t need to go anywhere! It is right on the Trainline so really convenient for the Porsche museum and access to the city centre. Easy parking too.

Quiet stay, easy access to transit, great place!

I really enjoyed our stay. I used to live near Stuttgart so I knew that the transit was a benefit for staying outside the city center. I am so glad we did! The staff was extremely kind, the room was quiet and clean. The restaurant was actually very good-something that typically is a hit or miss with hotel restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic and the value with kids eating free was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again when we come back.

This hotel was in an ideal & quiet location, right across from the station. Staff was very helpful, kudos to Eugene & his colleague (forgot her name but from Thailand) as they gave us great recommendations on which nearby cities to visit.

Breakfast was delicious & had a good variety of food. We also received an upgrade to a suite which we greatly appreciated upon our fast check-in! Thank you Holiday Inn Stuttgart for the excellent service!

Very comfortable and amazing hotel. It’s literally on an S-barn station so transportation is not an issue. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is great, and the hotel offers a variety of restaurants and a caffe bar. At first I thought the breakfast was a bit expensive, but the quality and amount of food justify the price. Overall great experience and can’t wait to come back.

I have been staying in this hotel for a number of years and my last visit was terrible. The room was very poorly ventilated and with the window open was noisy early in the morning. The most important part of being in a hotel is the quality of sleep, and I'm afraid on this visit the hotel fell short of this. I requested that my climate control be checked at the front desk, but nothing happened.

A great hotel that went a few steps more!

It was very easy to access the hotel and the checking/check out was super smooth as would be expected. What I noted about this hotel when I arrived was the really nice atmosphere. It was busy in the restaurant with people laughing and having a great time, all over a really relaxed vibe that I enjoyed a lot.

The room had a iron and a ironing board, super spacious and really clean. The light switches were placed all over the room which was frustrating at first but it was so crazy that I actually started laughing at it and chalk it up as a curious thing about this place.

Overall, good stay.

Our stay was, overall, quite pleasant. I asked for a top sheet rather than just have a duvet, and it was never added. Breakfast was plentiful, but sometimes hard to find a seat because of some conferences or large groups of people. Nothing the staff could have done about that.

The staff was multi-lingual and very friendly. Our room was nice & breakfast was excellent. I really liked the large covered courtyard behind the hotel where guests could socialize and relax. The hotel was under construction so the lobby and one of the elevators did not look very pretty, but it was just a very minor inconvenience. We did not have a refrigerator or a microwave as stated in the details for the room. It was not a big deal for us, but I am hoping to help someone else who may be choosing a room based on those amenities. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.

It is never a good sign when the first thing they do is give you a pair of ear plugs when you check in. They are doing a major renovation. Maybe after that is complete this will be a decent place. Right now they are still doing work and the rooms smell light paint and fresh construction

Needed a good priced hotel near Stuttgart airport. Rooms were fine and they did their job. Parking was pretty easy as well as you can park on the side street near the hotel for free. Staff was friendly.

i booked 1 room supposed to up to 2 people although only used 1 name but when we arrv there receptionist said I have to pay extra 20.50 euro again for 2nd person n called alison at hotel.com n alison said its for up to 2 people, send the email to hotel.com about this matter but no reply. This is a decent Holiday Inn. The room I had was light and bright, and the breakfast is excellent. However the location is totally isolated in a business park. You do have the S6 tram in front of the hotel for the 15 minute ride to Stuttgart, and its easy to get taxis to different towns, but you end up stuck at the hotel every night. The restaurant is decent but with very limited choices. I had the same salad 3 nights in a row.

Yes but, no and not my Holiday Inn!

Forget smart phones they need \"Smart Elevators\" during rush hours. Room service was fast and friendly and the food was fine. The coffee pot was unserviceable and very old. For the money one expects at the very least a coffee pot that works and doesn't have blue green algae on it! I also took a picture of the coffee pot and showed it to the receptionist. I hope that my next Holiday Inn is better next week in Colo. Springs.

Great hotel outside of the town center

We stayed at this hotel during a very busy weekend, and were told we could not check in early. However, once I explained to the receptionist that our group had booked 5 rooms, and that we only needed one at the moment to get ready in, she was very accommodating and let us check in early. The hotel room was a bit dated, but very clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, which was wonderful and I assume they would have been annoyed with the craziness of Volkfest weekend. The 'worst' thing about this hotel is that it was in the commercial district of Stuttgart, so it took us a while to get into town via train. But, on the other hand, the train was about 10 meters from the hotel! Food in the restaurant was delicious and bar tenders were friendly. Great place to stay for a night or more!

Good Location

Located directly in front of the train station- easy access to Stuttgart and Bad Canstatt. We went for the fest. The parking fee is ridiculous as is the price for breakfast. We anticipated some rowdy drunks, but having our little kids woke up at 1:30 in the morning by singing drunks IN THE LOBBY and not having the hotel do anything about it was not cool.

Clean and Quiet. Perfect for a business trip stay

The hotel is quite a distance away from the Stuttgart HBF. One will need to take the regional train from the Stuttgart HBF to Weilimdorf station. The commute time is about 15 minutes. The hotel is conveniently located right across the Weilimdorf train station. There is a wonderful bakery in the station that serves great baked goods that are perfect for your breakfast or lunch.

Very pleasant stay, let down by room maintenance

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, unfortunately its a little out of town in a business district with only one quite expensive restaurant near it (which I hadn't checked before booking) but is right by a train line with frequent trains into Stuttgart. My only complaint is the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower soap didn't get replaced once it was empty and the tea/coffee also wasn't replaced when used.

Perfect overnight hotel

We weren't expecting much as it is a \"Holiday Inn\" and were only staying overnight on a drive further south and to go to the Porsche museum a mile or so away. The hotel is in a nice quiet part in the outskirts of Stuttgart close to the autobahn.
Rooms and hotel were standard, could be updated, but of a good size, the best surprise was the quality of the food in the restaurant. I'm glad we failed to see a place over the tram line, as the risotto and steak we had were equal with some good places I've eaten in in the UK and priced well for the quality.
Would stay here again if I was in the region.

This hotel is in an industrial area. It seemed to have a number of conferences on when we were there and is probably a good venue for this. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, and while the room was clean and comfortable, there was no free internent, we couldn't ring our airline from the hotel phones as it was a toll free number (reception sent us over the road to a public phone which was not helpful for someone who only speaks English), there is no free on-site parking and if you don't want to eat in the expensive on-site resturants there are limited other options near by.

15 km from downtown but with tram at the door

I found the \"surprise\" hotel specifying in the search search \"hotels with complimentary breakfast\", at the expedia website. However, the hotel charged approximately 50% of the value of the room per person for each breakfast (I need to admit that it was a very good Buffett). Therefore, each room cost almost twice than the original price agreed on the list of \"hotels with complimentary breakfast\".

The hotel is very nice, very close to a supermarket and to an Industrial Park, but it is too far away from downtown. However, it is conveniently located in front of a tram station which take you to downtown Stuttgart in 20-30 minutes.

The hotel was ideally situated for us given that our trip was about visiting the Porsche Museum. However it was in the middle of a business park with little else surrounding it other than one Italian Restaurant (which was very good) and one small coffee shop. However, there was a train station right in front of the hotel which gave us easy access to Stuttgart City Centre so it worked quite well. It should be noted that this hotel is quite a distance from the airport.

Stayed here for a month while on business. It's far enough away from downtown Stuttgart that I could take my mind off things and relax. Because of my stay the rates changed weekend to weekday but the rates were still very reasonable. It's near the rail line so public transportation into town is quick and easy. Has an exercise room, sauna and an outside patio on I think the seventh floor where you can lie back, relax and enjoy a beer or glass of wine.

I did ask for a change of pillows from the foam to feather, the room service said you could do that but for some reason they never showed up. The cleaning staff is excellent and the gal who cleaned my room left me extra coffee because she knew I drank a lot of coffee. Girls at front desk helped me with my VAT tax forms. Bottom line, staff was very friendly and helpful even if I didn't get those pillows after asking about a few times.

Confusing to find the first time you look for it but where it's located in Ditzengen, and the fact that Ditzengen is small, made it easy to get to. Parking garage was 15 Euro / day and they recommend parking the car in the garage because of possible break-ins if left outside.

Other than that, excellent choice to stay while in that area.

Clean and well kept

This hotel was clean and very modern. The staff at the desk went out of their way to try to understand me even though I did not speak much German. The rooms were very nice and up-to-date. The bathrooms were very nice in the rooms and the beds clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing we didn't like was that the motel breakfast was not very affordable so we had to look elsewhere for something to eat first thing in the morning.

Zimmer sauber, etwas abgewohnt. Sonst ok.
