Open access bedrooms.

Anyone with your name can make themselves a key at the front desk. They require ID online before you arrive, however no ID is required at the actual hotel, and you simply type in your name and make a physical copy of the key. No interior lock on the door either.

Idee gut, aber zu teurer …

Die Idee und Technik der online Rezeption ist gut und hat super funktioniert.
Der Rest hat sich im Vergleich zu früher (Ibis) stark verteuert und verschlechtert. Parkplatz ist nun viel zu Teuer in dieser Lage mit 17 EUR pauschal.
Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls teurer geworden und hat wesentlich weniger Auswahl. Geschmacklich waren weder Marmelade, Brötchen noch Rührei gut. Personal war überfordert mit wegräumen, nachfüllen und in den Räumen war viel zu laute Musik.
Im Zimmer gab es einige Verschmutzungen und eine fehlende Deckenplatte.
Im Bad hat es eklig gestunken und die Dusch wechselt ständig zwischen Heiß und kalt.
Leider war das Fenster bei tagsüber weit über 30 Grad noch in der Nacht geöffnet und das Zimmer bei meiner Ankunft (nach 2 Uhr nachts) aufgeheizt.
Die Leistung und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht mehr.

It was an average stay. The property didn’t offer any amenities in the rooms, such as coffee machines or refrigerators. Fortunately, one of their workers (Dominique) offered to put my insulin in his office refrigerator until the next day, as it needed to be refrigerated. He also helped with many of our questions and concerns.

The check in process is terrible, we arrived 11:00 am and prior requested for early check in. Our room was not ready until after 2:00 pm. We were dead tired after long flights and requested several times for digital key which was give to us after 2:00 pm. Limited supply of towels. Poor air conditioning system with restrictions to change temperatures. If not in the room some air conditioning will go down to default eco settings. The price we paid vs the services were not good.

The front desk is a computer screen, your room key is your phone, and a roomba is the maid. Aside from the bar and restaurant staff, no humans in sight. Modern, clean, a short walk to public transport. Once you adapt to the impersonalness of it, it’s very nice. The neighborhood is mostly offices so no shops or cafes nearby (except the one there). The future???

Gostei do hotel. Não há recepção, eu recebi um e-mail para check in e no dia da chegada recebi outro e-mail com a chave digital. Funcionou perfeitamente!
Fica próximo de uma estação que passa trem que vem do aeroporto e da estação central. Inclusive, fica a 30 min andando da estação cental.
Quarto e banheiro bons. Só senti falta de um frigobar pra poder gelar a garrafa de água.

Mc Dreams is a low budget sleeping opportunity, rather a motel style stay where most processes are self efficient and digital. without reception and only staff for maintenance and for the bar . or mornings for the bar. My room a double business was a small room with a double bed, minimalistic interior. it was clean and tidy. Airconditioning was a disaster room reached 26C and even on the highest stand the room didnt cool down. one of those tipical aircondition in Hotels that are just there for \"show\"

The first night our room smelled strongly of cigarettes as there was no staff on site we just had to stay in that room. The smell was so strong I had an asthma attack and I’m pregnant. We were able to change rooms the next day however that initial stay kind of ruined the stay for us. It was also super loud around us as it seems like a lot of party goers stay at this hotel.

The hotel is modern, and I really liked the online check-in. The virtual key is also very handy, as you don't need to worry about carrying a physical key.

The restaurant on the ground floor is very nice, with tasty food and drinks, and the staff are also very friendly.

The only negative point is the issue with the shower, which clearly hasn't been resolved yet. Just to be fair, I want to mention that it's only the water temperature that changes suddenly — but that's all. The bathroom is very clean, and the amenities are great.

I would definitely book again when returning to Stuttgart in the future.

It was good in general, but the water in the shower was either ice cold or cooking, wich has nothing to do with being sustainable. It's almost impossible to take a shower because switching rapidly from hot to cold is necessary wich takes a lot oft time and water.
Plus the construction workers started drilling at 9am, I get it, but they could have waited until 11am when most people are awake and ready to check out.

Super sauber, moderne Gestaltung der Zimmer, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Service-Personal, digitaler Check-in hat reibungslos funktioniert, gibt auch Spiegelei (wachsweich)!
Verbesserungspotenzial: relativ hellhörig (konnte Nachbarn schnarchen hören), Hinweis wie man die Rechnung erhält (nichts in den FAQ zu finden und ohne Rezeption keine Info), Frühstück: einfach, aber in Ordnung, Anordnung der Auslagen etc. nicht praktisch, bspw. kann man in der Nähe der Auflageboxen nirgends sein Teller hinstellen, wenn man doch mal zwei Hände benötigt. Der Frischkäse ist so fest, dass immer mehr als ein Löffel benötigt wird. Zu der aufpreispflichtigen Siebträger fehlt Preisinfo und ein Hinweis, dass dies die Alternative zum kostenlosem Vollautomat ist. Tipp: Selbst mal als Service-Personal ein Frühstück als \"neuer\" Gast absolvieren.

Dejligt ophold. Vi ankom kl 1200, men blev allerede anvist et værelse. Der var rent og pænt. Hotellet ligger i meget rolige omgivelser og tæt på U-bahn station \"Pragliederhof\" med 2 stop til Centrum.
Alt i alt dejligt ophold. Eneste minus prisen på morgenmad 17 Euro lige i overkanten, men dejlig morgenmad.

Nice hotel a short walk from the S-Bhan where it’s two stops into the City Centre (less than 5 minutes). Being the normal Ibis it’s fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Has satellite/cable tv with channels from all over the world for entertainment and the bar is open 24/7.

If you’re staying as a family with young children they don’t provide extra beds in rooms and children under 12 are expected to share a bed with their parents. We weren’t aware of this but the staff were really accommodating helping us secure another room next door at a reduced rate.

Breakfast wasn’t the normal buffet due to Covid restrictions but you’re given a tray full of food presented nicely and still allowed to have as much as you like.

Would use again.

The hotel is near to great public transport if you are not coming by car. There seems to be a problem with the general soundproffing between rooms. The was also a lack of bar food from during the week after new year, this could have been communicated prior to my stay. There are not very many resturants nearby, however if food is not an issue to you then its good clean hotel with great staff.

I stayed here with some mates when we went to a music concert in the North of the City, as did many other people who came from all over Germany and Europe.Only a few minutes walk to the U-Bahn (Underground)which can get you anywhere, as well at to the S-Bahn (Main Railway). ***Advice - Get maps for both before you go, otherwise it can be a bit daunting and confusing.***
Only a couple of downsides to the hotel, from my perspective. The towels they provide aren't much thinker than Loo paper. They don't have any Soya milk at Breakfast, which is usually standard in hotels now and there are no nearby shops.

Awesome Value for a Great Hotel

I had no idea what to expect as I have never stayed at an Ibis hotel property. I was more than happy with the room layout and condition of everything. The service at the front desk and restaurant was outstanding! I would say the only downside of this hotel is the location... it is not the easiest to find because it is on a divided \"highway\". Also, the restaurants within walking distance are limited. However, we ate at the hotel restaurant fro dinner, and it was quite good.

Stayed here for our visit to the Stuttgart Beer Festival, the hotel is about a 30 min walk from the actual festival, and with a train stop at the end of the road most location are easily reachable.Only a 20 min walk from the city centre as well. The hotel is nice and modern, and very clean.

One of the better Ibis Hotels

A very good quality Ibis Hotel in a business district of Stuttgart.There is only one nearby Restaurant which is closed at weekends as is the Restaurant in the hotel. To eat out at weekends you must travel to the Centre of town which is two stops away on the nearby tram.
Overall a decent Hotel with good transport links but a little remote.

Good standard for the cost

The hotel is clean and bright with a lovely bar area. The rooms are of a good standard and comfortable. With Ibis you generally know what to expect and this hotel did not disappoint. There is a tram stop close by which takes you to the centre in a matter of minutes.

We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the Ibis hotel Stuttgart. It looked like it was either a new hotel or recently renovated. Very modern amenities (flat panel tv's, air conditioning, etc) and urban modern feel to the rooms (lamps, wood floor, etc). 24/7 cafe was nice for evening latte's, cappuccinos, and mineralvasser. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I'm not giving the hotel a five on all accounts is that the breakfast buffet is extremely expensive at 10 Euro (16 USD)/per person for what you get and the location is not very close to cafe's. Also, the location is not easy to walk to from the train station, but once we figured out the train stops, it was easy. Overall, we recommend this hotel for the budget minded traveler looking to maximize experience.

IBIS Stuttgart - Clean, Good Location, Friendly

Good basic hotel experience. Clear floor plan allows easy access to lobby, elevator, bar & restaurant. Welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Free use of business center computer. 24hr snacks available. Restaruant food is real good and reasonably priced but may appear to some as limited. I've had better breakfast buffets elsewhere, but I've also paid more. (I'm not big on breakfast so I can't give a better assessment.) The room appeared to be more than acceptable. Your room key controls the power to the room so you save electricity by not leaving fixtures/tv on when you leave the room. Rooms were clean and modern looking. The shower and toilet were also modern and clean. Windows were operable. The location of the hotel is only 1/4 mile (400m) from a UBahn station that is 2 quick stops from the main train station (which is in the historic part of the city and where easy transfers to other rail lines. Note, there is a slight uphill climb to reach the train stop, but unless you have severe mobility issues, it shouldn't be a problem. Many people roll their luggage up and take the U back to the train station rather than a taxi. I may not have stayed at many other 2 1/2 star hotels as this appears to be rated, but I would have certainly rated it a higher 3 to 3 1/2 stars. I would stay here again, and I would recommend to others who view the hotel as a place to sleep/shower but are mostly about visiting the city attractions.

Great hotel but disappointing attitude from manager on duty

A super hotel, well placed and immaculately clean. However, those of a more sensitive disposition should know that it is also situated within a stone's throw of the red light district! We had no idea until we wandered back to the hotel on a SUNDAY morning to see working ladies blatantly plying their trade out of windows, literally a few doors away, to lots of desperate looking men who were hanging around suspiciously. Probably not want you want to see if you are a lone lady traveller or if you have family in tow.
Breakfast was good. Room service breakfast, we were told on arrival, would be 15 Euros. So we were delighted when we read in the room that an alternative restaurant breakfast would be 12 Euros. We were however still charged 15 Euros, with the duty manager refusing to honour the advertised price (which she admitted was out of date) because it is also advertised on the internet at 15 Euros!!! We could not believe her rudeness and inflexibility, and it left a very bitter taste. She just could not understand that an advertised price should be honoured.
