We reserved the top floor for our family. While it had a lot of beds for us, seemed most windows were in the process of being worked on, therefore not able to open/utilize. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose and wobbly. There was plenty of space for a mini fridge which would have been helpful as there was no access to any kind of cool beverage. They did provide about 4 floor fans which saved our bacon in the 90* summer days. Overall worth the money, esp when traveling with 5 ppl and big rooms are hard to find in Europe.

Don’t believe all the reviews on here, we had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was exceptionally clean (maid service daily)
No air con but fans provided and no issues with WiFi in our room.
Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful.
Location is central for everything, only a 20 min walk to train station and bus stop at the top of the road. Supermarket just next door. Area is lovely and peaceful and only a 29 min walk to the centre of Stuttgart. Would definitely stay again.

Shower was very ditry. I traveled alone. Instead of the promised nice family pension, I was \"stored\" in an industrial old building, where teh hotel has rent some rooms. The last renovationwas 30 years ago and so looks like. The matress of the bed was similar old. Nothing for peaple, who have problem with their back.... The picture, I can see in the left semms not to be from my hotel... it was absolutely unconfortable.

Lovely hotel, only minor irritations. E.g. lift not working when we arrived back late one evening. The cost was much lower than other options of similar quality, perhaps because of the walk up the hill from the town centre. But Ubers are plentiful and the bus service is reasonable (just avoid the U-Bahn if you don’t want to walk up the hill). Advance guidance that the bus is better than walking from the station would have been nice

Arrived mid summer, attic apartment was 30-35C, place is without air conditioning, really neither pleasant nor safe - we had to leave after a near sleepless night. Did not get a refund for breakfast we paid in site (another 300 Euro down the tubes, which I really thought showed how little they cared). Please also looks nothing like the picture, it was dirty and one room key for a place that sleeps 5? 0/10 recommend.

The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

It was good enough for a one night stay, team station was close by, the Sqaure was a ten min walk so plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, however the light in the bathroom didn’t work, one of the bed lights didn’t work. The bed was comfortable however the wooden bit on the bed was a pain.

On the street parking was free at night but the hotel has a few spots for 10euro a day. Building is older but room was large, very clean. Front desk staff was there until about 1130pm which was a godsend. They needed passport #s for all guests, which was a little strange. Had breakfast available for a fee but we didn’t partake.

Overall a decent value, though it was a bit of a hike with kids to get to the nearest public transportation sites. Dining nearby was limited, and it was a bit of a maze through many narrow streets getting to the hotel.

My trip to the hotel will not be a waste of time and effort only if the hotel informs me that the hotel has changed my 2 night reservation to another Astoria. It wasn't far but we got lost because the directions weren't clear and it's our first time in Stuttgart. And with all our luggage and walking around in the heat of the sun, we felt stressed and down.

We rented the suite for one night, it had space for 7 or 8 people to sleep, which was perfect for our family. The staff was very friendly and the environment was quiet and safe.
Only minor is that we arrived very late due to lots of traffic jams and the elevators stop at 11:30pm.
Good idea for the rooms nearby, but we needed to go with our bags till the 5th floor using the stairway

Eigenschaften des Zimmers nicht wie beschrieben.

Viele Ausstattungsmerkmale des Zimmers waren nicht vorhanden. Kein Blick in den Garten, der versprochene 48Zoll TV hatte ca 20Zoll. Keine Verdunklungsvorhänge, keine schallisolierten Zimmer, kein Safe. 14m2 scheint mir auch nicht gegeben zu sein. Das Bett schmal und kurz mit durchgelegener Matratze. Das Bad ist kleiner nicht möglich. Weder große noch korpulentere Personen werden hier hereinkommen. Bad, sowie alle Einrichtungsgegenstände sind abgewohnt und beschädigt. Einziger Pluspunkt: die Reinigungskraft hat einen guten Job gemacht.
Die Bilder haben mit Größe und Ausstattung des Zimmers nichts gemein. Da laut Personal (sehr freundlich) schon häufiger bemängelt wurde, dass die Angaben bei Hotels.com nicht stimmen, handelt es sich in meinen Augen um Betrug. Die ehrlichen Wettbewerber werden durch die falschen Angaben um mögliche Gäste gebracht. Der Zimmerpreis (40€) ist nicht angemessen.

The room was very efficient, clean, and practical. The location is a tad far from Schlossplatz but easy to access by bus 42. Unfortunately there was no information at all about anything in the room (e.g.: TV guide, heater settings, walking distance eateries, etc.) . When I inquired about restaurants, museums, etc., close by and how to get there, the staff seemed ill-informed, and poorly trained in terms of customer relations. There is Penny market right next to it, thus, in some rooms you will awake weekdays around 6 am when the delivery trucks arrive.

Actually very disappointing.

I reached the hotel all the way walking from the railway station and to ly surprise the receptionist said that for some reason we have shifted you to some other hotel.

They did not even care to call me in advance in order to inform.

How can you change someone's hotel whenever you want?

Stuttgart was surprisingly expensive, and I found this room for about €40. I didn’t need anything fancy, just a safe, central, and clean place to stay one night so I could see Stuttgart Ballet perform. I got exactly that: it was in a fine location about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from the Hauptbahnhof, felt secure, and was clean. The room was tiny, but it was comfortable enough. It’s pretty quiet, and I was in their extra building next door. The breakfast was also ok: standard German hotel breakfast with breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, Müsli, yogurt, some fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee and juice. Nothing fancy, but decent. Both staff members I interacted with for checkin and checkout were very friendly and fast. I’d recommend it if you’re on a budget and want privacy, security, cleanliness, and a decent location. Stuttgart seems to be expensive for Germany, and I couldn’t even find an Airbnb for under €50. Other hotels in this price range were either hostels or had terrible reviews mentioning bed bugs, shared bathrooms, and dirty rooms. This one is a safe bet I think.

In a word - shabby! Hotel is very tired and scruffy. Mould on the ceiling above the shower. Minibar door did not close and therefore was unplugged and smelly. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was a short night stop over at this hotel. The hotel was clean and very well decorated. The staff very helpful and friendly. We only speak English and translation was not a problem for the hotel staff. Our room was very big, ensuite very clean. Shower powerful. Towels supplied and toiletries. We would definitely stay here again.

Unexpectable cost for very low quality and small

Stuttgart Germany was allegedly having high numbers of visitors because of conferences or festivals, at least that is the excuse given for the outrageous amount of money, $4797+ for 19 nights, for a tinny room. Interestingly, out of 19 nights I only saw two nights that appeared to be busy and even then I only ran into a person or two in the hall. It was weird, didn’t add up, and a bit strange.

This hotel was not a favorite of ours. I'd give it an additional rating if not for the night staff. The man that checked us in was rude, condescending and blunt. No need for that. There is a small pricey parking garage but no parking along the streets - you are in a residential area and all street parking is taken. If you want to go in/out/in, you have to check with the front desk for the key. The guest room was large but fully tiled, no carpet and COLD. It took a long time to warm up. All furnishing and decor were old and ratty. The \"best\" was the wing chair in our room that was covered and tied up with a offwhite bed sheet. The guests and kids were noisy up until about 11 pm and started back up around 7 a.m. I think the hotel was supposed to have a bar, possibly a restaurant but nothing was open when we were there.

They tried offering us a hotel that was super far away... without any discounts/etc. We ended up turning them down and finding our own accommodations.

Service was terrible. Not helpful or friendly and we waited 2 days for a standard item we requested to arrive to our room, which should have been there in the first place.
No coffee making facilities in the room and there was a very noisy grocery next door accepting deliveries very noisily in the wee hours of the morning, every morning.
The hotel is old and needs refurbishment to modern standards. Poor value for money.

We arrived at the hotel earlier than check in and received very surly service from the man working the desk. Upon our return, they were unable to find the key to our room and at first treated us like \"too bad.\" He eventually walk us up to our room ad let us in.We were also mislead regarding a roll-away bed being available upon request after it was listed on the website when booking. They tried to upsell us to another room, but eventually cooperated.

Servicable, but not impressed.

The room I stayed in was in the back building, without AC in a heat wave, which made sleeping problematic even in the middle of the night. Worse, the hotel is next to a supermarket that apparently gets deliveries at 6am, very noisy. The WIFI setup provided by the hotel was cumbersome, slow, and in the back building dropped out frequently. You needed to re-login every so often. Can't comment on food, since I opted out of the breakfast service. The room was clean, and was kept clean during my stay. When I left however, leaving around 5:30 am, and dropped the key in the box at the entrance because the front door was still closed (even though at check-in I was told reception was open 24hr), I got some emails because they couldn't locate the key.

The rooms are quite poor from the inside. The furniture are very old, no carpets on the floor, not even enough curtains on the windows, no dvd player with the T.V and even a cracked basin in the bathroom. All in all, It was quite dissapointing !!

The hotel was fine, great value, and on a bus line. My only complaints would be:
1) The staff was friendly, but not particularly familiar with the neighborhood. Specifically, they did not know where to get breakfast, even though there was a nice bakery a couple blocks from the hotel.
2) There was no coffee maker in the room.
With that said, I would be happy to stay there again in the future and would recommend the hotel to others.

Het comfort appartement, bevat alleen 2 slaapkamers, dus geen woonkamer . Op 1 slaapkamer staat een mini tafel en in totaal 4 stoelen. Het wordt aangeprezen als 5 persoons appartement, maar dan moet er wel iemand op het bed zitten. Bij receptie gevraagd om extra stoel, maar die was er niet. Er is nauwelijks bestek aanwezig, kraan in keuken werd niet warm, dus op de badkamer de afwas gedaan. Badkamer was royaal. Voldoende handdoeken. Geen theedoek. Locatie is prima, naast supermarkt, op loopsafstand van centrum en van Mercedes-museum (35 min). Er is een afgesloten parkeergarage, voor 15 euro per nacht. Vlakbij ov, voor 14,30 euro koop je een dagkaart voor 5 personen.

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie ein Apartment im Nebengebäude des Astoria am Urachplatz gebucht. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Die Lage des Hotels ist unserer Meinung nach sehr gut: Es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe sowie verschiedene Restaurants und Imbisse, falls man nicht selbst kochen möchte.
Das Apartment verfügt über eine kleine Küche mit Herd, Wasserkocher und Mini-Kühlschrank. Allerdings fehlten Teller, es gab nur wenige Gläser und kaum Besteck, hier besteht definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf. Das Badezimmer ist dagegen großzügig geschnitten und mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet.
Die Aussicht aus dem Dachfenster ist schön, die Betten und Kissen sind bequem.
Für eine Übernachtung mit drei kleinen Kindern war das Apartment absolut in Ordnung. Man bekommt das, wofür man bezahlt, und insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

Ich musste das Zimmer und das Badezimmer erst von Grund auf aufheizen, es war total runtergekühlt. Einige Teile der Einrichtung (Duschabfluss, Heizkörper Bad, schreibtischstuhlpolster) waren verschmutzt bzw. rostig)

Parkplatz kostet 15 Eur (wurde vorher nicht bekannt gegeben). Frühstück hätte 16 Eur gekostet. Personal am Check in unfreundlich. Zimmer ok, sauber, aber kalt und ungemütlich. Warum gibt es keinen Waschbecken-Stöpsel?

Zimmer sehr sauber bis auf die Badezimmertür, Mitarbeiter am Empfang sehr freundlich.
Waschbeckenstöpsel fehlte (man hat Angst, dass was reinfällt)

静かな環境でリラックスして眠ることができました。
部屋にバルコニーもついていて、気持ちよかったです。
隣に朝7:00〜営業のスーパーマーケットがあるので便利でした。
周りに坂が多いので、車ではない我々にはスーツケースを持っての移動が少し大変でした。
トラムの駅 Karl Orga Krankenhaus よりバス停 Urachstrasse のほうが最寄りでした。

Wer nicht mitten in der Stadt leben möchte und Ruhe braucht ist hier richtig. Sehr freundliches Personal.
