Lovely room, clean and tidy.

A solid choice for a quick overnight

This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything \"wrong\" with any part of the hotel. Everyone has their own preferences, admittedly. Personally, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and when I woke up in the morning I felt like I wasn't well-rested. I know that it is common in German bathrooms to have a tiny partition on the shower that barely blocks water from the shower head. I think this is an effort to improve sanitation and accessibility; in this case, it went overboard and it was almost impossible to keep water in the shower without spraying all over the bathroom. I suppose a very short person wouldn't have an issue but it was problematic for me. The breakfast but basic but it was also inexpensive (7.50 Euro per adult) and I was pleased by the huge servings of coffee and the very good bacon (hard to find in Europe at most places, good bacon). Generally speaking, this is a Good hotel. Not likely to win any big awards for being at the cutting edge but I think that's probably how most of their customers like it. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.

Out of the way

We chose this hotel so as not to be in the city of Kässel. The location north of the city is in a quiet area. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small but functional bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of coffee served in a carafe. Within walking distance was the summer retreat of King Wilhelm VIII which was open for tours.

Excellent for access to Documenta in Kassell

Very pleasant location in a quiet area outside of Kassell. A short walk to the local station to catch a tram into Kassell. The hotel was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was good offering traditional food with vegetarian options. The beds were comfortable and the room was cool, even though it was 30 degrees outside.

Gammelt slidt hotel

Faciliteterne var gamle og meget slidte. Morgenmadsbuffeten var næsten tom, da vi ankom en halv time før lukketid. Personalet virkede uinteresseret og en smule uvenligt. Næste gang vi besøger området, vil vi helt sikkert finde et andet sted at bo.

Die Unterkunft kommt mit dem Charme eines Altenheims daher. Gut ist die große Parkplatzfläche vor dem Hotel, die Küche konnte während meines Aufenthaltes die Preise nicht rechtfertigen. Sauna konnte ich nicht ausprobieren. In Summe ein sauberes aber arg i die Jahre gekommenes Hotel...

Wir haben ein Waldhotel in ruhiger Lage erwartet und haben ein Hotel an einer Bundessstrasse bekommen.Keine Klimaanlage und bei 30 Grad nachts mit offenem Fenster kein Auge zugemacht.Essen war sehr gut.

Die perfekte Unterkunft

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Abendessen auf der Gartenterrasse war klasse und die kleine Gartenanlage hat ein anheimelndes Ambiente.

Rolig, fint hotell

Fine store rom. Vi var 3 familier som hadde kjørt fra Kiel i 3 biler. Deilig etter en lang kjøretur å kunne sitte og spise ute på terassen. Veldig glad for at vi valgte dette hotellet og ikke et inne i Kassel sentrum. Følte bilene stod trygt. Lett å finne frem til hotellet. God frokost.

icht zu empfehlen- Autobahnhotel!!

Unfreundliches und selbstgefälliges Management! Überteuertes Hotel mit Unqualifizierten Rezeptionsmitarbeiter , die unterschiedliche Auskunft geben über die vorgenommene Buchung( beim Einchecken wird gesagt, dass der Preis mit Frühstück ist- beim auschecken aber das Frühstück dann zu bezahlen ist!!!) Ein Hotel das in die Jahre gekommen ist , dringend einer Überholung zum heutigen Standart benötigt , an der Autobahn liegt , aber Preise hat wie in Paris! Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen für diesen Preis!!

Nicht zu empfehlen!

Einzig hervorzuheben ist die wirklich exzellente Küche im Restaurant. Das Hotel und die Zimmer finde ich zu den gegebenen Preisen mehr als unverschämt. Zimmer Ursprungseinrichtung ist einfach alt und nicht komfortabel. Das Bad war mehr als klein und nicht gut gereinigt. Der Schlafkomfort ist mit miserablen und mehr als verbrauchten Matratzen nicht mehr gegeben. In der mageren Minibar findet man dann auch bich seit Monaten abgelaufene Getränke .... Hoher Modernisierungs-/Sarnierungsstau. Mein definitiv letzter Besuch in diesem Hotel

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Hotel war für uns die ideale Unterkunft, weil wir hier zu einem Brunch aus Anlass einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen waren.Nach einem spätmittäglichen Spaziergung durch den Wald haben wir hier auch unser Abendessen in familiärer Atmospähre eingenommen.Das Frühstück jedoch müssen wir als überteuert kritisieren.

Hotel im Retrodesign

Das Hotel liegt im Einzugsbereich von Kassel versteckt in einem Wohngebiet. Es gibt einen hauseigenen Parkplatz. Die Begrüßung war freundlich. Das Zimmer hat eine sehr dunkle Zimmereinrichtung im Stil der 80er Jahre. Das beige Bad ist ebenfalls im 80er Jahre Stil gestaltet und etwas eng. Leider war das Zimmer bei Ankunft sehr kalt. Dies ist im Winter einfach unzumutbar. Die Schnellstraße ist trotz geschlossener Fenster gut zu hören.

Meget fin aftenbuffet

Vi havde bestilt et værelse til 3 voksne. Vi fik en suite. Ældre og lidt slidt, men pænt og rent. Meget fin buffet i restauranten. Venlig service. Eneste gene var vejarbejdet, som gjorde det lidt vanskeligt at køre dertil. (Ligger lidt langt fra motorvejen, men det vidste vi jo)
