This is our second visit to the Goldener Pflug and for good reason. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and top class breakfast and restaurant evening meal. Parking on site very secure. We shall be returning again next year. Definitely a must stay hotel

Short review:
Everything was good or great, there are 2 rooms for improvement.
- the room has no carpet in the room, you can hear you steps while you’re walking
- hotel has small garage and if it’s full it’s not easy to find parking lot on the street

Modern hotel of character and welcoming atmosphere

Convenient location for motorways on route to places of interest.

Hotel is modern with interesting decor, touches of character, and facilities to relax such as sauna, steam room, loungers, bar and restaurant to enjoying a relaxing drink or midday or evening meal.
The proprietors succeed in making a relaxing atmosphere for their guests at breakfast. We look forward to staying again on our travels.

I've stayed here a number of times as it is a really well-run family business with a good retaurant and bar (and bar/bistro - Bistro Rössle - just across the road). I arrived at the hotel quite late (after 10.30pm) and I was able to get a meal. THe staff are great - very welcoming and helpful.

Average hotel, not quite a 4 star as stated

Room quality was alright for the price, however would not rate it a 4 star hotel. Restaurant was good for dinner, breakfast was decent. Biggest disappointment was the fact that we booked this hotel to have a nice break at the spa facilities which we could not access. Due to covid it was limited to one person/family at a time, however it was not bookable and one couple spent literally hours and the hotel staff did not apply any fixed time usage so others could use the facilities. We waited for 3 hours to just give up entirely. So given the quality and without the spa, the hotel really just does not live up to 4 stars reputation.

Wonderful hotel

This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was good. On the whole I would recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the area - it's also a short taxi ride from the Porsche Museum which we visited.

Great comfortable quite hotel.

We loved our stay here. The hotel itself is not too close to the center of the old town (thus the reason for 4 starts there), but we didn't care. It was in a very nice accessible location with free parking. There were a couple of restaurants and bakeries nearby. We were prepared to drive into town and did just that. There was ample very affordable parking everywhere in town. There is a fabulous restaurant inside the hotel with free breakfast for our stay. I wish I could find eggs and fresh baked bread like that in Delaware.

Time and time again

Stayed here with family. We had a room on the top floor which had excellent Windows. Nice shades to darken the room for sleeping. Clean room. Nice fridge. Huge bathroom. Shower had great pressure. Wonderful included breakfast. Nice lobby and attached restaurant. Easy check in and out. Free parking underground. We would definitely stay here again.

Great price/value hotel!!

Hotel is centrally located in quiet neighborhood. Nice breakfast, cooked to order. Food for dining at restaurant was delicious. Staff was very helpful, and we had a guest in wheelchair, and they went out of their way to please us. Huge room by European standards. The only thing negative was the parking which was extremely small and tight, but it was free!!! Overall, we would recommend this hotel to any person/family. Very good!

We had a Fantastic stay! The Generous (included:) breakfast made up for no robe/slippers in the room. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition! The staff spoke English well and were helpful in providing/explaining local bus schedule. I would Highly recommend this hotel!

Parken in der sehr engen Parkgarage war sehr schwierig, aber ansonsten war es ein angemehmer Aufenthalt. Beim Auschecken wurde mir fürs Parken statt 5 Euro aus Versehen 302 Euro abgebucht!, und obwohl ich es gleich bemerkt habe war das Rückzahlen auf die KK nicht möglich sondern es würde mir überwiesen werden. Auf die Idee für diesen krassen Fehler deswegen auf die 5 Euro Parkgebühr zu verzichten ist man nicht gekommen, nicht einmal wirklich entschuldigt hat man sich…

Tres déçus.
Personne pour nous accueillir le 24 à 16 h. Seuls dans la rue sous la pluie. Il y avait un guichet a l exterieur, nous avons payer de nouveau notre sejour de 4 nuits pour acceder a notre chambre. Dans la salle de bain , 2 lumières sur 4 fonctionnaient et la colonne de douche dysfonctionnait.
On pensait qu ils nous feraient cadeau du parking et bien non ...
Pas de sauna, pas de spa !!! Nous ne reviendrons pas et cet hotel n est pas un hotel 4 etoiles !

L'hotel è bello e abbastanza comodo al centro, la camera e il bagno di ottime dimensioni, peccato che la camera fosse al piano strada e quindi non potevo lasciare le finestre aperte per motivi di sicurezza. Nel complesso il giudizio è piu' che buono.

Wir haben als Paar das Hotel an einem Wochenende besucht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und eher einfach eingerichtet, aber ausreichend. Kostenloses Mineralwasser wurde gereicht. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und es war kein Problem dieses für eine weitere Person, die nicht im Hotel eingebuchtet war, zu buchen.
Parkmöglichkeit gab es im eigenen Parkhaus(3,00 €/Nacht) allerdings ist dieses sehr eng und schnell voll. Man kann aber ohne Probleme außerhalb im Umkreis kostenlos parken.
Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen und würden es wieder buchen.

Zweckmäßige Zimmer, sehr dünne Kopfkissen (nicht gut). Chaotische und unvollständige Programmierung des TV (kein einziger Nachrichtenkanal). Habe selbst langwierigen Sendersuchlauf gemacht. Kein Safe vorhanden ( in einem 4* Haus!). Dafür war das Frühstück ganz hervorragend. Auch bei Betrieb sehr frisch und immer optisch ansprechend angerichtet. Sehr große Auswahl und zusätzlicher Tischservice (frische Eiergerichte auf Bestellung).
Sehr enges Parkhaus. Es muss kräftig rangiert werden.

Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen.

Leider nicht unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Kein Parkplatz vorhanden. Durch die angewandte 2G-Regel wurde uns als gesunde und getestete Menschen der Eintritt in Restaurant und Bar verwehrt , obwohl das Frühstück dann möglich war????!!
Der Spa-Bereich war nicht sauber,z.B.Dampfdusche ohne Wasser.
Positiv sei die Infrarotkabine erwähnt.
Personal sehr unpersönlich, man fühlt sich nicht\"zuhause\". Da wir sehr viel in Hotels übernachten, ist es uns sehr unangenehm aufgefallen.
Wir werden unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in dieser Gegend in einem Hotel buchen, wo wir als gesunde Gäste auch willkommen sind und als Gast behandelt werden.
