Great overnight stay - lovely hotel, friendly, clean, good facilities including a super pool.
Only issue is that we booked a half board package through hotels.com. Our evening meal was booked at a restaurant a 20 minute walk away. This turned out to be an uphill walk through vineyards to a fort at the top of the town. Our meal was in the cafe - wooden tables, plastic chairs, no atmosphere and only one other couple who were about to leave. Apparently there was a restaurant downstairs but that was laid up for an event the following day. So we returned to the hotel and requested to be seated in their restaurant which duly happened and we had a very enjoyable meal.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. And it was just the right distance away from Stuttgart to play in the big city and then retreat to the small town. The weight room was nice and the pool was even better than expected.

Great hotel, lovely pool(shame sauna and steam room wasn’t turned on and kept on) breakfast was lovely and really healthy too. Great room and bathroom. Only down sides are no kettle in room so we couldn’t make a drink after a long journey and the pillows were awful very flat with little filling in them.

The hotel was fine. The soap etc. was not very nice, but it was clean. Our room did not have the room darkening others did. The reception people were very helpful. Good location for surrounding area, but no much in walking distance. Good breakfast.

This is very typical, standard hotel. The outside looks very charming, but the inside is very standard, nothing extraordinary with no added amenities. The front desk staff was very nice, but the waiting staff at the restaurant were very rude; we did not stay and went out into town for dinner. The town has lots of beer gardens and great restaurants. There is a pool, but warning- the Sauna is not free as advertised on your confirmation. Parking is free. Beds were ok, not super comfy. Bathroom is split, toilet in one area, sink and shower in another. Good hotel for price and if you are staying for just one night or need a room at a cheaper price. Everything was clean and restaurants and shops are withing walking distance.

Check in was quick, the receptionist spoke good English.
The room was nice & well equipped, the en-suite was a good size.
The car park is opposite, if you are parking there remember to ask the receptionist for a token to get out.
I did not pay Euro 17 extra for the breakfast as I thought this was expensive. I did not have time to check out the Spa facilities.
Nice hotel, I would stay here if I was in the area again.

An excellent hotel in Asperg, Stuttgart.

Mostly excellent.
Train to Stuttgart is only a 10 minute walk - about 3 euro.
There are also buses into the city and taxi.
Asperg area, near the hotel, is a very pleasant and friendly place.

Pleasant Stay!

I discovered this Hotel when I was roaming around Germany with no specific plans. I could have chosen a \"global brand\" hotel and I am very glad that I chose this hotel. The entire facility was clean, modern and quiet. The room had a small refrigerator to store the contents of my cooler and it even had a bottle opener readily available in the room. There was sufficient parking directly across the street. Both the receptionists and in-room materials were bi-lingual. I hope to stay here again during my future travels!

Only here for a couple of nights but a very pleasant hotel. Plenty of choice for breakfast with a reasonable sized room and good shower (always a benefit). Didn't get chance to sample the restaurants and there isn't that much available in town, but there is a large shopping centre about 5 minutes drive away and traffic doesn't seem to be too bad to get out of the town. My room was generally quiet, although I was next to the door to reception and to the swimming pool, so did occasionally hear those slam.

Wi-fi worked fine, and parking was across the street, very convenient. But this is definitely not a 4.5 star hotel. First of all the photos are quite misleading as the hotel is in a row of continuous buildings and not stand alone, including the interiors which are dark. Elevators are quite old and the hotel can use a facelift. Restaurants were not working for lunch..

We had an upgrade and we got a larger room which was fantastic! The town is little but a typical German town with beautiful flowers and houses. It is about 15 km from Stuttgart but the place was so nice we did not care to drive those Kms.

We had very nice experience staying in Ringhotel Adler. I would definitely recommend if you travel by car. Free parking, free wi-fi and complimentary Ritter sport chocolates. The only breakfast was a bit overpriced.

Very nice hotel, attentive staff, good food. Asperg is out of the way, but does have S-bahn service. Hotel is a 10min walk or quick/cheap cab from the S-bahn (20min ride from Stuttgart Hbf)

Der Empfang, war sehr entgegenkommen.
Ich würde der Geschäftsführung empfehlen die Fussböden neu zu gestalten Parkett oder Laminat. Teppichböden schrecken die Besucher in der heutigen Zeit ab.
Man braucht nicht alle Raäume auf einmal machen.
Zimmer 125 da kommen etwas korpulente Leute nich mehr von der Toilette runter.

Ich fand das Zimmer steht nicht im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Und ich übernachte sehr viel in Hotels. Ein Einzelzimmer für 110 Euro. Wo im Prinzip nur ein Bett und ein Schreibtisch drinnen steht, nicht einmal ein Kühlschrank. Und besonders groß war das Zimmer auch nicht. Da hätte ich schon mehr erwartet.

Fantastisk 4 stjernet hotel, som i høj grad fortjener hver en stjerne. Alt fra medarbejder, service og rengøring var i top og det samme var alt fra maden, i hotellets egen restaurant, til betjening og servicen på hotellet, som emmer af tysk kvalitet og charme når det er bedst.

Vi nød både aftensmad og morgenmad i hotellets hyggelige gårdhave og var meget tilfredse med maden og vores ophold.

Hotelværelset var rummeligt og der var god plads til vores familier på 4. Værelset havde aircondition og var rent og velindrettet.

Vi benyttede også hotellets swimmingpool og spa-område, hvilket også var rent og lækkert indrettet.

Vi anbefaler på derfor enhver at booke et ophold på Hotel Adler Asperg.

Sehr ordentliche Zimmer mit allem was man braucht und ausreichend Parkplätze (wird knapp, wenn viele Leute im Hotel sind). Die Anmeldung ging sehr schnell, da man vor Anreise bereits online einchecken konnte. Und das Frühstück, trotz der doch recht teuren 21 Euro, sehr lecker und man konnte alles finden, was man vielleicht braucht. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung und würde wiederkommen.

Due Zimmer sind sauber,zweckmässig und ruhig. WLAN gut. Wasserdruck Dusche gut, Bett ausgezeichnet, Platz Bad gut. Alles mit Herz gemacht. Frühstück gut, Service aufmerksam.
Eine Eierstation (frisch zuberritete Eierspeißen nach Wunsch) zum Frühsrück wäre noch das i-Tüpfelchen...und was das Restaurant Schwabenstube angeht,Gourmetsegment mit dem dazugehörigen Stern, wunderbar und wird separat bewertet. Machen wir wieder!

Schönes Hotel in historischem Gebäude, mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen, mit großem hoteleigenen Hallenbad und vorzüglichem Frühstück! Am Sonntag, wenn das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant Schwabenstube geschlossen ist, lohnt sich ein 20-minütiger Spaziergang zur kleinen Schubart-Stube auf dem Hohenasperg, wo man bei schöner Witterung (mit Selbstbedienung und derselben Speisekarte) auch draußen essen und die herrliche Aussicht genießen kann.
