Not much parking!

The limited parking is very limited! We were looking specifically for a hotel with parking so glad it wasnt busy. The lady on reception at check in was a litte off habd, not explaining where to go for breakfast. Our room was next to the stairs, very noisy with coming and going. The staff in the morning were lovely as was breakfast, overall not a bad one night stop over

Short business trip

Another hotel that is missing the simple necessities in life, a shame because it could be much better. The internet connection was terrible to non existent in my room. i had to sit on the stairs in the hall or downstairs in the bar to receive a signal. Also they didn't have a an ironing board BUT eventually had a steam iron! That's like saying yes you can have a coffee but we have no cups!
A steam iron and a decent ironing board is required for all business people and doesn't cost the world, please buy one! I was not offered any other room after three times of saying I had no internet connection at all in my room, bad customer service.

Off the beaten path with best breakfast included

We called ahead to check in after 10pm and it was so nice to have our keys hidden outside like arriving to a family home. Beds were squeaky and the toilet kept making noises, but everything else was clean, quiet and great for a night sleep. Breakfast was the best, with fresh soft boiled eggs cooked to perfection, fresh cheese, prosciutto and baked bread, and vitamin juice and coffee. A great hotel off the beaten path to kick big city living off the subconcience.

Outstanding stay!

Check in was easy and quick. Hotel was reachable by short walk from the S Hahn station. Restaurant was outstanding! Good was excellent! Staff was gracious and extremely helpful! Yes, there is a church next door and the bells do ring every 15 minutes. We found it comforting.

Charming and Accommodating

This hotel has all the charm of a small inn and provides excellent service. The restaurant is top notch(a little pricey) and a good example of the food of this region. The staff didn't speak a lot of English but were willing to try to accommodate and help in any way. If you have a car, this is the place to stay. You are 10 min from Ludwigsburg and 10 min from the Autobahn. You can walk to the S-Bahn station if you prefer. We were 25 min from Stuttgart airport and traveled all over using this as our base. Heidelberg is 1 hr away, and there are lots of sites in between. Take water bottles and snacks with you and definitely need a GPS in English to get to places and back.

Gorgeous Little Hotel

We were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful 'near' Stuttgart airport. I booked this as it was a 20 minute ride to the airport - and was not disappointed. The staff were really friendly and considerate as we didn't check in till nearly 10PM (latest check in time) - and they were really understanding. We booked a double room through Expedia, but a day before they informed us that we would have a Twin room instead (2 single beds) - which was slightly annoying for my husband and I - but not the end of the world. Breakfast was really nice - continental style - boiled egg, cold cuts, cheese, breads, cereals, yoghurt. Very friendly and would recommend if you're in the area. The church next door has a lot of tolling bells!

Friendly, comfortable and close to Ludwigsburg

e locatio is We stayed for 2 nights in this family run guest house, the room was clean, spacious an comfortable. The staff made us feel welcome and breakfast was excellent, a good choice and all very fresh. We also had evening meals here, a selection of typical Schwabisch food which was excellent. The hotel is 5 minutes from the Autobahn, about 4 miles from the palace at Ludwigsburg and around a 10-15 minute walk from the station from where trains to Stuttgart take around 25 minutes. If you are looking for an individual accommodation that isn't a faceless chain hotel I don't think you would be disappointed. There is one downside.... It is sited next to the church which rings in every 15 minutes as well as the hour so, if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

Excellent Stay

We use this motel because of its location to the things we wanted to see. Mercedes museum, AMG Plant, Porsche Museum and other locations. Be prepared to exchange your currency before you get to this town you can do at the Stuttgart Airport. This motel was a comfortable stay for us. The shower was a little too small but the rest of the room was big enough for us. We had breakfast every morning in the motel and the owner \"Gert\" hopefully i spelled his name correctly was outstanding on getting us taken care of. Fresh food, eggs, yogurt, meats, cheese, breads and soforth. The motel has covered parking area next to motel at no charge which this made it great for us. Our room was next to the road and once inwhile it would be a little noisy but our stay at this motel was truly awesome. If needing groceries of sometype the grocery store is about less then 1/2km from our room in which we did go there.

The owners and staff here are really friendly and helpful. Location is about 10 minute walk from Tamm S bahn station.

Breakfast was great. My room was really big and charming. No internet access in my room, but they welcomed me to set up in their restaurant.

Historik Hotel Ochsen north of Stuttgart

The hotel looked really nice from the outside. A very old charming house. The parking area was good. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and showed me to my room. The room was nice and the bathroom look really great. Unfortunately there were a lot of hairs on the floor and a few in the sink. How hard is it to vacuum the floor?
The WLAN did not work in my room, so I had to sit somewhere else to have reception.
The breakfast was included and really good.

Kleines Örtchen, das Hotelgebäude hat Fachwerk, die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet.
Leider kein Aufzug, das Internetfernsehen hakt manchmal. Der Fön könnte mal gereinigt werden, ansonsten angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Fantastic service from these folks!

Fantastic place and exceptional service. Only stayed one night but was a very nice experience. The hotel staff even got me out of a tight pinch when all taxis were unavailable due to the strike from Deutsche Bahn. Can't thank you all enough. Will definitely visit again should I need to go to Markgröningen for another surgery. A high recommended.

Die Zimmertür habe ich sichtbar versehenlich offen gelassen. Ich habe erst einen scghreck bekommen bei der rückehr am Abend. Aber alles gut alle da.Ich werde im anschluß wieder für zeit Nächte Buchen wenn was Frei ist. Mehr brauche ich hier nicht zu schreiben.

Hotelbereich hat MHD bereits überschritten

Das Hotel hat seit 14 Jahren den selben Besitzer, der in dieser Zeit sich um den äußeren und inneren Zerfall nicht gekümmert hat. Außen wächst Unkraut ums Haus und auf dem eigentlich gemütlichen Biergartenboden. Die Schlagläden klemmen, der Teppichfußboden ist überall abgelaufen und fleckig. An den Treppenkanten ist der Teppich bereits aufgebrochen, der zur Kaschierung teilweise darüber gelegte Teppich ist auch schon abgelaufen. Von den Glühbirnen im Flurbereich und im Zimmer brennen nicht mehr alle. An einer Fensterlaibung schien Schimmel zu sein. Der Duschschlauch im Bad ist gebrochen, allerdings war das Bad ordentlich sauber. Das Personal sitzt nachmittags im Biergarten an leeren Tischen und radscht miteinander, obwohl es wirklich viel zu tun gibt. Das Frühstücksbuffet dagegen ist zu loben.

Ein Lob ist auch dem sehr gemütlichen Restaurantbereich zu zollen. Wir speisen mehrere Male zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit. Leider zieht die nahe Systemgastronomie im Breuningerland viele Gäste an, und so bleibt das Restaurant zu oft leer. Schade!

Övernattade här i samband med besök på vingårdar i området. Fräscht stort rum m ok sängar, stort badrum, bra frukost. Gratis parkering på gatan utanför, vällagad god middag i restaurangen. Serviceminded personal.
Dåligt fungerande gratis wifi på rummet.

sehr schönes historisches Gebäude.

Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen was man an den Möbeln erkennen kann.Ist aber nicht wirklich schlimm! Flurführung zu den Zimmern etwas unübersichtlich. (folgen SIe einfach den Teppichen)
Küche war super!!! sehr sehr lecker!
Service und das Team waren sehr freundlich und nett!
alles in allem gut.

Et familiedrevet hotel midt i Tamm ca 24 km. nord for Stuttgart. Hotellet er udmærket hotel med alt hvad man behøver; WiFi der virker, minibar, god morgenmad og egen restaurant.
Om det er fordi hotellet hedder noget med \"Historik\" og kan skrive sin historie tilbage fra 1600-tallet, skal ikke kunne siges - men alt i alt mangler det en opdatering. Det er på ingen måde udslidt, men kunne godt bruge en opdatering.

ホテルの受付は午後１０時まででしたが、１２時過ぎにホテル到着を告げたところホテルの玄関に部屋のカギを置いておくと言うサービスがとても嬉しかったです。また、チェックアウト以降も食堂での打ち合わせをさせて頂くなどの対応も快かったです。

教会の鐘が心地よいホテルです

教会の鐘好きにはたまりません。思わずiPhoneに録音してしまいました。家具と扉は全て無垢のパイン材でした。無料のガスウォーターはとてもよかったです。無料の朝食もとても豊富で満足でした。パンもとてもおいしく7種類のお茶を選べます。こだわりの緑茶もありました。

Ein Blick in der Bequemlichkeit der alten Zeiten

Schöne abgefärbte Fach-haus Holz führt in einem alten Hof und weiter zum gemütlichen Gasthof. Die Zimmern bieten standard Bequemlichkeit mit dem Charakter des alten Holz Verkleidung überall. Schöne frische Frühstück und für den gastronomischen Voll ist auch Sterne-Koch mäßig gesorgt.

Schlafsofa statt Doppelbett

Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und mussten uns mit 2 getrennten Liegeflächen, die das Wort \"Bett\" nicht verdienen, begnügen. Ein Bett war eine Art Schlafsofa mit einem improvisierten Holzunterbau und einer dünnen Matratze, und es war lediglich 80 cm breit. Unsere Reklamation bereits bei Ankunft wurde nicht akzeptiert. Zimmer und Bad waren geräumig, die Ausstattung völlig veraltet. Das Frühstück war dürftig, der Kaffee dünn und das Personal unfreundlich. In der Toilette ragte ein 15 cm langer Nagel aus der Wand, der vermutlich als Halter für eine Ersatzrolle Toilettenpapier dienen sollte, aus der Wand. Dieser Nagel befand sich in einer Höhe, in der man sich hätte Schienbein und Waden verletzen können.

Ne dormez que d'un oeil

Restaurant très agréable, personnel chaleureux et souriant, tout semble aller pour le mieux jusqu'à la nuit tombée. Et là, mauvaise surprise, la cloche de l'église toute proche sonne tous les quarts d'heure, inlassablement. Impossible de dormir. C'est pourtant essentiel dans un hôtel... Dommage, l'a priori était très positif...

Außen vielversprechend, innen enttäuschend..

Zuallererst möchte ich sagen das ich mit gemischten Gefühlen bewertet habe. Als wir ankamen waren wir zuerst überrascht wie schön das Gebäude von außen wirkt. Ein traumhaftes Fachwerkgebäude, welches einladend wirkt. Drinnen dann die Ernüchterung, nachdem nach klingeln der Hotelier öffnete wurde würde uns die Wahl gestellt welches von uns Pärchen das Zimmer mit dem Doppelbett wolle. Das andere Pärchen hat ein Zimmer mit viel zu kleinen getrennten Betten erhalten, von dem das eine eine Art Ausziehsessel war. Um beim Thema Betten zu bleiben, kann ich nur sagen das unser Doppelbett das schlechteste war in dem ich je gelegen habe. Furchtbar unbequeme Matratzen welche ein ruhiges Durchschlafen erfolgreich verhindert haben. Generell sind die Zimmer ok, aber es muss dringend mal was an dem Allgemeinzustand getan werden. Sprich, den gefühlt 30 Jahre alten Teppich mal erneuern, den vergilbten Duchvorhang mal gegen eine Kabine tauschen, etc. Auch sollten die Putzfrauen mal im Bad an die Decke schauen. Dort gibt es nämlich eine verdreckte und seit Ewigkeiten nicht gereinigte Lüftung zu bestaunen. Ich hatte das Gefühl dem Hotel fehlen die Mittel um mal was zu tun. Auch die Frage und quasi Festlegung nach der gewünschten Frühstückszeit fand ich etwas aufdringlich. Man ist doch in Urlaub. Aufbackbrötchen machen es leider nicht besser. Fazit:Preis/Leistung sollten verbessert werden. Schade.

Nettes Landhotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Ludwigsburg. Freundlicher Empfang, Familiäres Ambiente. Auch unserem Wunsch früher einzuchecken wurde problemlos entsprochen. Empfehlenswerte Alternative zu Hotelketten.

ヒストリックホテルです

駅からは少し遠いし、建物は古いのですが部屋もレストランも綺麗にしてあって好感が持てました。
部屋はそれほど広くありませんが、バスタブがありバスルームは広かったし、使いやすくできてました。全てのスタッフが英語を話せるわけではないようでしたが、特別問題はありませんでしたし、家族経営なのでとてもフレンドリーでできればまた行きたいと思うホテルでした。
レストランは間違っていなければ土日月の3日しかやってない（？！）と言っていました。私たちは土曜から泊まったので食事をしましたがレストランの食事はとてもおいしかったです。レストランの看板には見たことのある赤いステッカーが貼ってあり、詳しいことは分かりませんがミシュランの星付き？だったようでこれまたびっくりしました。
朝食はレストランの食事と一緒でなかなか良かったです。　サーモンのマリネがとってもおいしかったですが、いつもあるわけではないのかもしれません。

駐車場は2台ぐらいしか停められないのでちょっとびっくりしました。クルマがないと移動は不便かもしれません。場所はかなり郊外と思われます。クルマでしたらIKEAやMacも10分ほどで行けます。
クルマで5分ぐらいのところにはスーパー(rewe)があります。品揃え豊富でした。
駅までは車で7分ぐらいかと思います。

Zimmer sehr sauber, nett eingerichtet

Im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden. Hatten allerdings ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, bekommen haben wir nur ein Einzelzimmer unterm Dach mit einem zusätzlichen Ausziehbett. Sehr komfortabel war das nicht. Unterm Dach war es sehr warm, nachdem alle Fenster geöffnet waren war es auszuhalten. Frühstück war gut, Käse, Wurst, Lachs, verschiedene Brötchen, Brot, Cerealien, Joghurt, Obesalat, Konfitüren. War sparsam bereitgestellt, aber alles wurde aufgefüllt. Sehr ärgerlich war, dass am zweiten Morgen in unserem Zimmer nur kaltes Wasser kam. Das war dann aber nach einer halben Stunde behoben.
