you really do get what you pay for. The atmosphere and amenities might suit families with kids, but it’s definitely not ideal for couples looking for a relaxing or romantic getaway. Noise levels, lack of privacy, and underwhelming service made our stay unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for comfort, quality, or any sense of escape.

Our experience at EIX Lagotel was honestly quite disappointing. While the location and pools were decent, the negatives quickly overshadowed the stay.
Breakfast was chaotic — extremely loud, overcrowded, and the doors to the outdoor seating were kept closed despite the packed dining hall. I asked for a white-only omelette, and the cook just poured some premixed liquid from a large plastic container into the pan. It clearly wasn’t just egg whites — honestly, it felt more like silk or custard than egg. Very off-putting.

Pillows were thin and uncomfortable, with strange pillowcases that had two open sides. We had to ask for extra just to sleep properly. The in-room safebox was unusable — no instructions, no key, and I assume it required a deposit, but no one explained.

Soundproofing was terrible. One night we couldn't sleep until 2 AM because our neighbors were having a loud party. The kids club had very limited hours and was completely closed on Sunday without warning.

Tennis courts and lake boats shown in the promotional photos simply don’t exist. We also found cockroaches — a few on the balcony and one inside the room.

Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. On top of that, they required a €5 deposit every time our kids wanted to play ping pong, and a €40 deposit just to borrow beach towels. For a supposed 4-star family resort, this all felt excessive and unfriendly.

We won’t be coming back. Too many issues

Reception staff awful.

Asked for a high floor with lots of light as i suffer from claustrophobia, got the tinyest room like colditz , never slept for 3 days reception said there were no other rooms proved to them that there were other rooms online with various websites including there own , they just laughed and shrugged their shoulder's as if to say tough luck . I was prepared to pay extra but they just turned me away .
Stay away from this diabolical Hotel.

For the price, this hotel probably exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, tidy, back to the basics, no frills accomodation. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Onsite supermarket was well stocked and well priced. The adults only pool/bar was amazing. The evening entertainment was a bit naff. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice. Good location. Easy to walk to beach etc. the biggest drawback was due to the proximity to that lake, there were mosquitos everywhere.

Food excellent with great pools. Travelled in April, so hotel a little quiet, suspect a lot livelier during the Summer.
Although a little out of the way, the hotel's frequent free bus to the beach an absolute boon.
Disappointed with the view from the room on Poolside side of the hotel - new sports complex spoiling the view a little.
Overall a very good hotel.

Overall better than average for 3rd stay

My 3rd stay at this hotel for our annual cycling holiday. Pros - for cycling, great variety of food for half board, self service laundry, being able to bring bikes to the room. Cons - mosquitoes and poor Wi-Fi. On this trip only, the mattress in my room does need to be changed. Some of my group complained the level of cleanliness in the bathroom was below par.
Service levels in the restaurant and reception were always were always friendly and warm

We had an amazing stay at EIX lagohotel. Upon arrival, we met a lovely receptionist called Siana, she was very welcoming. Our room was spotless and we were pleasantly surprised. The room had a double bed and a couch bed which was not expected. The breakfast was lovely, a huge range to choose from and plenty of food. The pool was lovely, 2 bars, and a shop also on site. We couldnt fault it.

A special shoutout to Siana who went above and beyond for us over the weekend as we tried to get to a wedding. All the receptionists were so helpful and they deserve to be recognised. Thanks so much.

Unfortunately we have a horrible experience as soon as we arrived to this place due to the manager attitude! He was RUDE super rude ! He saw us arriving and instead of welcoming us he literally started yelling at us because we park ed right in front of the building just like we would have done it at any other hotel to check in! We were shocked!! Couldn’t believe his behavior basically all night long on and on … he refused selling food to us at the time of the night 9 pm ! Honestly the way he spoke to us was not properly at all! We decided to stay ONLY because we didn’t want to lose our money. be ready to receive this kind of very unfriendly welcoming of you decide to stay here but we DO NOT recommend this place at all unless they get rid of this rude , unprofessional person!

This is a lovely hotel with a mixture for the adults and children, food was great something for everyone. Adults only pool was a little bit of heaven perfect for sunbathing.
Only 2 downfalls there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room so had to wait till breakfast to get a drink, you could hire a kettle but it wasn’t well advertised. Also the air conditioning was switched off when balcony door opened, if you didn’t shut it properly the air con didn’t come back on but this wasn’t mentioned anywhere.
Overall a brilliant hotel and will definitely be returning

Classy pleasant professional staff. From reception to the guys in the bar restaurant. Cleaning staff all were excellent. Cleanest hotel I have been in and I have travelled to many places. I went with my 81 year old Mum and it is also very accessible if you have any ailments. Food is good and I was impressed with food left out as we had an early flight. Marvellous place and I will come back with my kids. Very family orientated place. Look out for Mercedes when she smiles at you the world is a brighter place

All very average..Check-in not over friendly..Rooms very clinical and no character...Plenty of hot water and beds are a bit too firm..Thin walls but was ok..Balcony had an impressive view!..Free Wifi worked great!..The Restaurant very busy..nice buffet..A 200ml Fanta bottle bit expensive for €2!..Breakfast buffet was nice and sporadic...A lot of children here and should be at school I think..Pool side was ok and relaxing..Kids didnt bother me but the flies did a bit..Being near a lagoon/lake flies can be a nuisance by the pool!...Hotel a good 15min walk to main strip...Hence why it was cheap at £30 Half Board. Flys put me off so I wont return.

Dirtiest 4 star hotel I've seen

I haven't seen a more dirty/unclean room for a long time and definitely never a 4th stars. We stayed 9 nights and I bet the room was never vacuumed the floor for dust or dirt. And this wasn't the worst part. The bathroom has such a bad smell that my girlfriend was close to puke several times. There was a cesspool like smell we couldn't get rid of. Even we placed the \"yes\" for cleaning service on the outside of the door many times, there was no difference, except for the new towels and cleaned mirror. We figured out that the smell was from the WC, more precise from the inner edge where water flows which looked like it was never cleaned or disinfected.
In a couple of days we found out that the bathroom was \"refreshed\" with our own perfume which was present in there.

We told at the reception about the smell and they said they'll send a plumber but we've seen no change.

In our before-last day in the evening when returned we discovered that our WC was way too dirty with some dark color stuff. We couldn't figure it out what it was as we didn't eve leave it like that. Yes, it was in one of the days with the \"Yes\" on the door.

We had breakfast included and in 9 mornings it was always almost the same, they barely change anything.

WiFi is almost unusable. Lucky us who had 3G on our phones.

The good side: big room, nice view to the lake, big balcony with terrace having a table and chairs. The nearest beach to the hotel is great.

Nice hotel away from the hubbub!

This hotel is a short walk to the beach and has a shuttle bus. It also has plenty of parking in / around it. The rooms were clean and generally well maintained, but both our room door and balcony door were hard to open and close. The shower was amazing as were the beds - I believe they were memory foam mattresses. No kettles in the room but could be hired. Beach towels and safe keys could also be hired for a deposit.
Food was plentiful and they looked after my gluten free requirements well. The rooms overlooking the nature reserve also overlook the evening entertainment, so if you don’t want to hear that at night ask for a room at the front.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good but the hotel was not somewhere we would ever return too , basic information was not easy to obtain and the extra charges are appalling be prepared to have to pay for a safe and a kettle @around €14 a week each + then deposits !! . Mosquitoes are a big problem so go prepared .
We were a family with 2 teenage boys and the pools were too overcrowded but I would imagine it is perfect for younger children . Highlight of the week was Sean (entertainment) you have a real gem there he was great taking time out to talk to guests a huge asset to the hotel

Food - lots of choice in main restaurant but a lot was low quality. Snack bar food was very poor.

Site is close to the beach and the town center of play de muro. Enjoyed every minute, especially the all inclusive food. Only down sode was there was no double bed only two single beds, but you cant have everything can you haha!.

On a budget

This hotel is a good choice if you are looking for on a budget type of holiday. I wouldn't rate it 3 stars though, 2 - 2.5 the most. Rooms are quite basic, so are the facilities - you better skip the gym in there- very dated :( The biggest disappointment was the food - quite tasteless, nothing to chose from when it comes to fruit and veggies or desserts. Also you wanna make sure you ask for the room facing the lake, otherwise you won't sleep at night! And if you think about using wi-fi, then don't, its terrible. On the other hand, the stuff was really friendly an helpful. Swimming pools are great, very clean, especially the ones across the street. But the best thing about this hotel is the location- beautiful views and 10min walk to the beach, nonetheless very pretty one. Overall I would rate it 2.5 stars, but I wasn't expecting too much given the price I've paid.

Snacks available all day. Food adequate with plenty to eat though not exceptional.
Drink service really good as pumps self service cut the queues down.

This is a lovely hotel we had a room with a view of the lake very nice to wake up to the food is this hotel is excellent a lot of choice and the self service drinks are also great. The beach is beautiful and it costs only 3.10to take a bus to alcudia for 2 people. The wifi is a bit hit or miss. The pools are massive and there was plenty of sun loungers maybe due to being mid sept, we played bingo on a few nights and on the last night my partner won 855euro a very nice way to end our hol and it's a good price, would stay again

Just back from a nice 12 day holiday in Lagotel . We went all inclusive and got a good deal on line booking flights and hotel separately. We thought there wouldn't be many children there as the schools hadn't broken up but how wrong lots and lots of children and loads of 0-4 yr olds so it was busy and noisy.
We did enjoy it however ,our room faced the pool which was fine , very noisy when the entertainment was on the evening but it stopped around midnight so wasnt a problem and it meant that if we wanted to we could watch the entertainment from our balcony

Fridge , hairdryer and safe in room( charge for safe but worth it )
Great food probably the best all inclusive food we've had ,lovely meats and fish salads and amazing fresh fruit selection daily
Nice pools we used the one across the road at Breezers
Lots of sunbeds we could always get one but shade not always available
Pool area closed until 9.00 so no beds booked before that

Everywhere kept well and very clean

Good, friendly family hotel.

We took 85 and 90 year old family members to this hotel and had a great break. Reading the previous negative reviews, we found evening noise to be the only problem. Food was plentiful and varied and drinks freely available.Always plenty of chairs for relaxing, although sunbeds may be more difficult to find. No problems with mosquitoes, although they were in evidence. Evening entertainment OK if your expectations are not too high, although one male entertainer is irritating as he is very loud and continually shouts ' OMG! ' The hotel listened to all our pre-arrival requests and staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of free onsite parking for those renting cars.

OK if you are looking for a cheap family resort

I went by myself which wasn't a great idea as it's mostly a hotel for families, mainly from UK and Germany. Average food and drinks if like me you get the all inclusive deal (I ended up eating outside most of the time). Probably would be better outside of peak season but then I am sure you can find something on a better location and of better quality

For Very Cheap Travel

There were ants in our room upon arrival and it had not been well cleaned prior to our arrival. Breakfast was good. The room was tiny and we had to request to change rooms so that we were more comfortable. There were many families and very loud children screaming and running around. The pool looked nice. We didn't spend much time at the hotel as we wanted to see the island but we dreaded returning each night.

Nice welcome when we arrived, when we got to are room it was clean a few things didn't work like the TV we did tell the staff but it was never fixed, we had the all inclusive option but if your a vegetarian and you want healthy choices this place is not for you, was not impressed with the food at all same thing's were on the menu everyday so we went to local restaurants which were really nice, entertainment was ok but they need to think of more ideas 3 to 4 days is more than enough time at this hotel.

Beautiful holiday in a superb hotel

Amazing pool facilities, loads of room, various depths accommodating everyone's needs.
Very good location, close to sea and lake. Tennis court as well as mini golf.
Superb evening programe, every day a different theme while we stayed there for 8 nights.
Food was good and a big variety.
Kids Disco is monotonous and same tracks every evening was a bit annoying.

Excellent facilities and value for money

Booked the hotel extra last minute, very good price and seemed to have a great range of facilities. The hotel has everything you want, except for probably a beach front location, although it is literally a 5-10 walk to one of the best beaches in Mallorca. You do have to pay for the mini golf €2 and tennis €10 p/h. It's quite a basic hotel but is great for kids and families. I went with a friend and suited us fine. All inclusive snacks are pretty basic, chips, pizza etc and the music is loud at night. To me it felt like a cheap version of club med, but is nowhere near as expensive. Bed were uncomfortable. Overall, highly recommended if u want a cheap, good value holiday in nice part of the island.

This place is about 10 mins walk to the beach and main restaurants. The hotel itself is nice with lots of activities if you have kids, and a nice pool. Food was reasonable, although the only way of getting lunch or dinner there was by purchasing the 'all inclusive' package, which was actually very cheap considering drinks (even alcohol) were included. Better food at local restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small and bed was extremely hard but air-conditioning worked very well and there was a nice TV.

Very nice and helpfull staff, multilingual. Rooms very clean and nice decorated. I had issues with a/c and refrigerator but in 2 hours everything was working ok. TV had no BBC channels working (Wimbledon had started!!) byt they didn't even know and, again, in less then 30 minutes I was enjoying tennis.
My room was a single, but surprisingly large enough and with balcony!!! Nice and mordern forniture, enought space for clothes and a desk.
Everyone of the staff was ready to help, even if they speak only Spanish (cleaning ladies).. they tryied their best to understand what you want.
Be aware that this is a place for families...therefore looooooots of children!

Fantastic Hotel with Brilliant Facilities

This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in whilst in Europe especially in this price bracket. I thought the hotel was perfect with so much to offer. I didn't have much to do with the staff bar the normal check in/out procedure, and saying hello to restaurant staff but with what I did I found them to be very polite and helpful. My room was lovely very modern. Comfy bed, good amount of space, new flat screen tv with decent amount of satellite channels and air conditioning! exactly what was needed with a bonus of a small balcony with table and chairs, and all very clean! The outdoor pools were great with plenty of sun beds available. I didn't go to any of the evening entertainment put on but there were a few things every night that was advertised. I didn't hear any of this either so wether I was lucky in where my room was located i'm not sure but I was happy. I went all inclusive which was brilliant. At every sitting, breakfast, lunch and dinner I thought there were great options for everyone's tastes. Simple as there are so many people but good and they were always putting out fresh servings, even 20 minutes before the end. Plenty of drinks and snacks available during the day also which was great. Really enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again.

We Really enjoyed our weeks stay here, the food was amazing, the hotel staff were so helpful. Very clean and tidy throughout. Superb for families, always something going on. Close enough to the beach (approx 10 minute walk).

Large, family friendly hotel.

Nice hotel which caters well for families. Beautiful pools which are clean with plenty of space for sunbathing. Lots of choice at mealtimes and with drinks if all inclusive. About a 15 minute walk to the beautiful beaches or the hotel provides a shuttle bus. Be aware of mosquitoes and wear protection.

we had a water leak on the second day in the bathroom, reported it and the leak was repaired more or less straight away. also cleaned up at the same time. very well

Lovely place to holiday

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Mallorca. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and my room had lovely views.
The only disappointment was no wi-fi connection, as they were having issues with the server, so you could only access the internet in reception.
All in all a great holiday.

✅ Das Positive:
- Schöne Anlage: Die Hotelanlage ist wirklich ansprechend gestaltet und lädt zum Entspannen ein.
- Saubere Zimmer & gemütliches Bett: Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett äußerst bequem.
- Gutes Essen: Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen (Halbpension) war für diese Hotelkategorie absolut zufriedenstellend.
- Shuttleservice zum Strand: Alle 30 Minuten fährt ein Shuttle zum Strand – eine tolle Ergänzung, auch wenn wir selbst einen Mietwagen hatten. Viele andere Gäste haben den Service gerne genutzt.
- Kleines Gym vorhanden: Für sportliche Gäste gibt es ein kleines Fitnessstudio.
- All-Inclusive-Angebot: Gäste, mit denen ich gesprochen habe, waren mit dem All-Inclusive-Angebot sehr zufrieden.
- Kinderfreundlich: Ab 19 Uhr gibt es einen Bambini-Club, bei dem sich die Animateure viel Mühe geben – ideal für Familien.
- Poollandschaft: Sehr schön gestaltet mit einem separaten Adults-Only-Bereich – perfekt für etwas Ruhe zwischendurch.

❌ Das Negative:
- Mückenplage: Durch den angrenzenden Großensee war das Hotel stark mückenbelastet. Zwar haben wir es mit etwas Taktik geschafft, keine Mücke ins Zimmer zu bekommen, aber in Fahrstühlen und offenen Toiletten waren Mückenschwärme allgegenwärtig.
- Lautstärke in der Nacht: Nach Abschalten der Außenbeleuchtung um Mitternacht wurden Gäste vom Sicherheitsdienst gebeten, sich z

Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen. Toll fanden wir die tollen Pools und den kostenlosen Transfer zum Strand. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig, das Bett nicht sehr bequem. Es gab viele Mücken. Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt, aber die Atmosphäre im Restaurant erinnerte eher an eine Kantine als an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Ein bißchen ruhige Musik wäre zum Beispiel schön gewesen.

Un séjour agréable dans un petit appartement en réa de chaussée. Il manquait peut être un starter pack pour l’entretien ( produit vaisselle…) et peut être un welcome pack ( quelques sachets de thé / café ).
Attention il y a de l’animation sonore jusqu’à 23h-0h00.

Ich hatte meine Reise spontan um drei Nächte verlängert. Das vorherige Hotel war leider ausgebucht, so kam es zum Hotelwechsel. Wissend, dass das Eix in vielen Bewertungen sehr schlecht abschneidet, waren die drei Nächte insgesamt okay. Zimmer sauber. Ich habe das Clubhotel allerdings nur zum Schlafen und für ein kurzes Frühstück genutzt. Frühstück ist okay. Tagsüber erkundete ich mit Freunden im Mietwagen die Insel. Meine sporadisch gewonnenen Eindrücke in dem Betonklotz und von der Außenanlage: Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht. Schon gar nicht eine oder zwei Wochen. Da wirst du bekloppt. Man muss diese Art von \"Entertainment\" mögen. Das Ambiente ist schon sehr lange überholt. Die weitläufige Pool- und Außenanlage weiß mit gewissen Reizen durchaus zu punkten. Es herrscht jedoch einiger Trubel. In Anbetracht der Zimmerzahl allerdings auch nicht verwunderlich. Mallorca ist vielfältig, die Hotels sind es auch. Ich empfehle gerade älteren und anspruchsvollen Urlaubern die Reisekasse anderweitig zu investieren. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mit eigenem PKW ist es geeignet. Man sollte allerdings nicht zu viel erwarten...

Séjour globalement correct, nourriture du petit déjeuner infâme, chambre mal isolée, problème récurrent avec les voisins de chambre qui fumaient des substances illicites mais malgré tout la réception a fait le nécessaire pour nous aider. Le personnel est très gentil mais le gros point noir c’est la nourriture et le ménage des espaces communs.. ne vous aventurez pas dans le jaccuzi ou la salle de sport.. et le ménage dans les chambres est approximatif

1 uge her på guldbryllupsrejse med hele familien (15 mennesker). Helt fantastisk uge, enormt venligt og smilende personale, der jokede med os og skabte god stemning hele ugen. Lækre poolområder med tilhørende snack- og drinksaften. Underholdning hver aften, for både børn og voksne. Værelserne var fine store, med stor altan og blev gjort rent hver dag. God variation i maden i buffeten med nyt tema hver aften. Generelt et dejligt hotel med skønt personale der altid var imødekommende og hjælpende
