The Hotel is nice and I have stayed before. Staff are helpful and the hotel grounds are lovely.

However be aware the pool etc won’t be open end April and May which is a real shame.

Location is a 35 min journey from Venice but there is a direct bus near the hotel.

Driving and parking into Venice is a nightmare.

Overall nice stay.

My phone in my room wasn't working and i was put in the wrong room, and about the time i realized ( it was 2 or maybe 3 days before i was leaving to go babk to the states..)...when i mentioned it they said someone else was in the room and that if the room ended up being available the let me know... so basically i ended paying one room on their website and tbey out me in whatever room thry wanted to

The property was lovely 😊 very clean was a perfect little spot lovely swimming pool !
The swimming pool didn’t have many snack options at all and the evening restaurant is open between 7-10 so if you hungry you have to go the local town , the local town is picturesque just beautiful, but eating out there is very limited and Sunday absolutely no where is open ! The hotel could definitely offer more snacks during the day !
The breakfast was small options but very nice to be fair if you just want a light breakfast for me it was great !
All in all we had a nice stay but do think that hotel should definitely offer more day time snacks ! If I was in Italy again I would definitely stay again :-)

This place was great! Would recommend to anyone, the concierge on staff spoke great English, they had great food recommendations, breakfast and coffee in the morning was awesome! The villa is about 2 min from the bus stop (walking), which made things very easy to not need a car. Just be careful, the concierge told us that the bus drivers sometimes skip the stop closest to the villa and stop at the one further up the street because more people get on there, that was the only difficulty we encountered staying here.

Great Place to stay!

The Hotel is very beautiful, the small town is charming, 20 min from Venezia, 40 mins from Vicenza where I needed to be. we stayed at the new wing and the room was simple but clean and nice. service was great and so was the breakfast. The outside is very beautiful with a large swimming pool, and parking on site is available for free. will definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely, just right to say how busy we were. House keeping was really good! Would have been excellent if it weren’t for the 2am room call we got that woke us up when we were due up at half 5am. Staff weren’t sure why we were called, the call was in fluent Italian and seemed annoyed we couldn’t understand them? Unsure what happened as all calls pass through the front desk. Otherwise lovely stay.

The staff at Hotel Villa Patriarca are very accommodating. We had a concern with something in our room, and the reception came immediately to check it out. They really do their best to make sure their guests are happy. Our room was immaculate as well. It was kept extremely clean, and we had new towels daily. The grounds are beautiful as well. As for the beds, we visited as a couple, and it was two mattresses combined together. However, I believe this may be a European normality that we are not accustomed to from America. I still managed to sleep well.

The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly, very welcoming. The whole experience and the fact that it is less than 45 mins away from Venice central, there is also a very good restaurant that looks like a cottage from the outside (can’t remember the name) - but it was to the left of the hotel when you exit, 3 mins walk to the left. I came across this hotel via reading the reviews and to be completely honest, the reviews were very helpful. I last visited during the first week of September 2018, will be returning here soon!

This prooerty is 40 mins out from Piazzale Roma bus St...where the airport bus drops off. It takes you through alot of villages to Mirano which is a beautiful quiet location..large houses and park..and the bus stop is outside the hotel. 500yds walk to the town is worth the walk..lots of shoos aroundxa sqzre and everything you could want..a little gem of a place you wouldnt get from venice hotels.
A good sized room..excellently cleaned..and very quiet. Great size swimming pool in lovely garden settings. Plenty of sunbeds..
All breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice...Restaurant serves a la carte which is a set price..but choice is yours..Turn left outside the hotel and 200yds on the right is a lovely restaurant which is reasonably priced...a ltr of wine was €9..
Lovely staff who all spoke reasonable english and sold return bus tickets..you dont pay on the bus.
Would only change one thing which is i had to ask for a kettle and cups to make a drink..as its only set up for expresso.. it was in my room no problem..as i bought milk and took my tea bags survival kit..
Do not overlook this hotel..itxwas fully booked...and there was no city tax to pay...

Hotel was ok, beds extremely uncomfortable - two singles pushed together, no zip link, so no use for a couple. Room stuffy and A/C never worked despite having to ask every day for it to be switched on at reception. Staff rude in general, everything seemed to be a problem. Garden room was noisy with feral children running wild outside the window most mornings. Room relatively clean and well decorated, fresh linen each day and the supplied toiletries were lovely.

Mirano was a 15 minute walk away, sleepy picturesque town with a handful of restaurants. Ok for a day, or as a stopover travelling through.

Venice circa 1 hour on the bus, tickets 7.50€ from reception. The last bus from Venice leaves after midnight so plenty of time to visit without rushing. Not ideal overall to use as a base for visiting.

Wouldn’t return or recommend, as the hotel fell well short of our expectations and we returned home exhausted due to lack of sleep in an inadequate room. Book somewhere else!

Staff were lovely and so helpful on my arrival. Expedia did not inform them my wife is disabled but the manager changed my room to one that was suitable. Breakfast surprised me it was varied and good choices. The room and bathroom were spotless. If you want prace and quiet away from the tourist noise this place is perfect. Bus stop to Venice is outside hotel (1 hr on bus) overall I would tecommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, couple minutes from bus stop, 7E bus comes/goes directly to Venice (Piazzale Roma). Receptionist was so lovely and helpful. Room is gorgeous, as well as the grounds. Wasn’t overly impressed with breakfast, only scrambled egg on offer, day 1 we asked for fried eggs and got it no probs, day 2 they refused as “no chef on site”? Not good for a 4 star hotel. However, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and when we asked for anything it was done in a couple of minutes. Bed is very comfy. Overall very pleased, would stay again

Checking in and out was so easy and fast. The staff were all so kind and wonderful. The free breakfast was so delicious!
My only complaints are that there is nothing to do around the area. Once you're in the hotel, there's not much to do afterwards. It's 7,50 euros roundtrip to Venezia )35 min away) which I think is very pricey. I also wish the rooms had the option for \"do not disturb\".
****tip for getting to the hotel from the airport (i wish i knew): go out the airport towards public transportation. Tickets are sold outside, buy a ticket for the Flixbus (to Mestre), the people at the counter will tell you which stop to go to. Validate your ticket at the machine next to the stop before getting on! Get off on the last stop and walk to the ticket window. Buy a ticket for the public bus 7E. The stop is a couple of blocks away. Don't forget to validate the ticket inside the bus and get off on the stop before the last.

Nice greeting when we came to the hotel. Friendly staff, knowledgeable and very helpful. Venice is a 35-45 minute bus journey from right outside the hotel. You can get day tickets from the reception for 7.50euro return. Breakfast was fantastic with so much choice, felt very spoilt. The town of Mirano is a 15 minute walk from the hotel and is full of eateries and a great ice cream shop. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with exceptionally lovely staff

I stayed here in August caught the bus (tickets can be purchased from hotel reception) into Venice.

Lovely grounds, lots of outdoor space with loungers. Verrrry nice pool with dozens of loungers around it too. There was a pool side bar as well. I did not eat in the restaurant but breakfast was very good. Cereals, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, frankfurter type sausages,yogurt, cakes, pancake maker.. Other items could be ordered for a supplement e.g. omelettes.

I stayed in Room 23 - single occupancy so the bed was fairly small but I knew this beforehand. It was a simple and charming room with windows opening onto the front of the property. Very quiet room. Spacious enough. The bathroom had a bidet which just too up space but I know this is commonplace in European hotels. There was a vanity kit, shoe shine and shower cap included (all very handy esp the shower cap as I'd left mine at home! My only issues with the room were that the shower door only opened two thirds of the way so you have to turn to the side and step into the shower which was difficult every time. Even a slim woman would struggle to do so!

P.s. Eleonora on reception was a delight :)

This property is really wonderful & the staff were so kind & helpful unlike the hotels in Venice. It is worth, trust me, the 40 minutes bus ride to stay here. The bus stop is just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. The Buffet breakfast is the best I have had in Europe. It is so nice to escape the crowds in Venice to enjoy a very large, clean pool & lovely grounds. Everyone in this hotel was kind & the rooms are so clean & large compared to hotels in Venice.

A beautiful rustic hotel - exactly what we wanted

Hotel Villa Patriarca is a beautiful 17th century building transformed into a hotel but keeping its unique rustic Italian theme. It has a fantastic pool area with covered bar and snack restaurant. No fighting for sunbeds. There are plenty. The local people can go into the hotel grounds at the weekend and they use the beds provided in the gardens so guests always have a sunbed at the pool. The gardens are fantastic so much so that they hold weddings and special occasions there. They offer breakfast which again is great and anyone can get something. It doesn't differ so it is the same daily but offers scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, meats, cheeses, toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal. cakes, pastries, pancake machine, coffees and teas on tap. The staff are more than friendly and both reception & restaurant staff going the extra mile to make your stay lovely. You can hire towels for the pool for 2.5 euros each. The bedrooms are clean and have a safe for your use free of charge. There is a mini bar but you can stock up yourselves to enjoy a drink whilst getting ready. We had a garden room so we could sit outside of our room. Rooms on the second floor just have window.The reception also booked our taxi to and from the airport and got it much cheaper than we could have got it.

Out of the tourist spots, great hotel

Just far enough out of the tourist areas to pay a normal price for things, no ramped up prices, 10 minutes walk to the nearest town, lovely clean hotel with two bars, restaurant and snack bar. Ample parking spaces and bikes to rent too. Definitely recommend.

Oasis away from buzz of Venice

Only negative is distance from Venice, 50 minutes on bus. However, excellent bus service, stop outside door of Hotel. Also, lovely town of Mirano within easy walking distance. If you are independent traveller ( train from Mestre makes Padua and Verona accessible) you will find this hotel an excellent base for discovering the hidden treasures of Venice with the tranquility of a quite oasis away from the buzz of the city.

Extremely comfortable beds, calm and relaxing stay. Staff were extremely helpful, bothing too much trouble , including rail/bus time tabels Hotel & Rooms were spotess, towels changed daily, bedding every few days, air con. was efficient. Pool was so welcoming and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, great selection and choice. Recommend te bike hire, taking in the local village of Mirano and the abundance of cycle paths.
Mirano is a beautiful chic/boutique village with a great selection of bars a few restaurants, great shops, supermarkets, grocery shop, exquisite pesticiaria, bakery, cinema and much more. Amazing market on mondays, takes over the whole village. Great walks, good bus service right outsice the hotel, approx 40 minutes into venice Piazela di Roma .
Water Taxi tickets - best deals at Piaza di Roma, 20Euro per day or 40 euros for 3 days, the ticket also covers public buses.

Elegant Hotel with Wonderfully Understated Style

Couldn't have asked for more from this hotel from the moment we arrived through wrought iron gates to a wonderfully understated style and elegance. Lovely grounds and large pool to relax around, different areas to sit. Fabulous room/bathroom with shutters and everywhere marble and so clean. Staff were first class, breakfast had a terrific range including bacon, eggs and toast, fruit etc. Enjoyable walk into Mirana (15mins) with fabulous clothes shops. Easy ride from airport; take Aerobus 5 into Venice then catch 7E to Mirano (40 mins to relax and enjoy being part of local activity). Bus stop is opposite hotel. Great Pizzeria to left of hotel as you walk out (5 mins). Excellent value for such a quality hotel and worth the journey into Venice as well as being a fabulous calm oasis away from the crowds in Venice.

Luxurious hotel only an hour from Venice

Beautiful hotel set on the outskirts of a quaint Italian town with lovely bars and shops. Perfect for relaxing in with few guests the place is so peaceful and a well kept secret! There is a lovely pool for swimming and a garden area for sitting in. The hotel restaurant does delicious meals with a varied Itailen menu and delicious buffet breakfast.
Directly outside you can catch a bus straight to Venice and the hotel staff are more than happy to help you with any trips you would like to do.
The only small issue is if it rains there are only 4 tables inside at the bar so if your not quick enough you have to sit in your room or outside in the rain but this is only a small issue as if you've been out all day you'll only want 1 drink and then bed.
Overall a beautiful little hotel quiet and peaceful with lovely, friendly staff. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Our stay in this place was terrible. They know how to rip you off. They never gave us a kettle in our room which they were supposed to give. Hence we have to order coffee in the room every morning . The coffee charge is 2.30 euro which is fine. However they charge us 7.30euro for each coffee we ordered. when we asked about this they said it is the service charge(5 euros) for each time. They never mentioned to this anytime to us. We ordered at least 4 coffee in a day. Horrible bill came on the last day and in a very cheeky way. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.Rooms are really small.

Local bus service in east Walk from hotel takes 40 mins to get to central Venice. It's nice to stay somewhere outside the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nice hotel with great staff. This hotel is quite a way out from Venice but the bus stop is right out front of the property. The trip into Venice takes about 40 minutes with buses leaving every 20 minutes so not much of an issue really. The restaurant on site is excellent with great quality food and at a reasonable price. In general, the high quality of the property and the low price make this a great value option for exploring Venice.

The staff (particularly reception) very friendly and welcoming.

The room was nice with big windows and lovely matching wardrobe, bedside drawers and dressing table. Power shower (no bath in our room) fridge included basics no alcohol but bar in hotel. The safe in room was free and easy to use.

Food was good, although only had breakfast at hotel (there are lots of restaurants 20 minute walk away)

Hotel pool is nice, roughly 25 metres in length and under 2m depth. Nice jucuzzi in built, confused about how to turn it on but appeared to be autotmatic and good when on. The pool is open to day visitors and there were lots of locals at points but the hotel permits only guests on the sun loungers around pool and then the green has loungers open to anyone.

There was a gym area too, looks a bit shabby from outside as in a gazebo/tent but equipment inside quite good, lots of familiar band named machines - general cardio. It's nothing fancy but the basics if you want a standard workout. The hotel also offers some fitness classes. There is a football court too (although never saw this used)

The bus stop is right outside the hotel and takes 40 minutes (direct) to Venice. It got extremely busy when we used it and there doesn't appear to be a capacity limit. The price was roughly £5 return per person..

Great hotel with a great swimming pool

Brilliant little gem of a place close to a lovely town of Mirano. Bus Journey 35 mins from Venice but bus stop right outside hotel. Loved my holiday staff were great too the Barman/Lifeguard Riccardo was a great lad and introduced us to the local tipple UGO which is beautiful. We ate out in the town of Mirano most night great food at a fair price. Overall great place enjoyed my holiday and would go back definitely. The only reason I give 4 on room comfort is that I don't like two singles pushed together to make a double but no problem slept well enough. 😁 👍

Stayed for. 4 days with my 18 year old daughter. Hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. Quality, charm, clean and the staff were wonderful. So warm and helpful whilst being 100% professional. The grounds are green and lush, the pool is gorgeous with high end sun beds and it's own bar and menu during the day.
Air con in room is great and wifi is free and works everywhere.
Public transport is easy and cheap. Venice is 40 minutes away by bus and Verona is an hour and 45 minutes away by train. Only €8!
Breakfast is stunning.....fresh fruit, fresh cakes, pancakes, eggs, cheese, croissants (including vegan), yogurts, cereals, juice, coffee.....all fresh and wonderful. There is even a fresh whole honeycomb everyday, which I had with hit pancakes and strawberries.
We are in the restaurant every evening and it was terrific. We sat out side on the patio, with fresh table linen, candles and immaculate waiters, not a plastic chair in sight! (Take mosquito repellent...its hot and very green!) food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. My favourite was probably the sea bass ravioli, but everything we are did nit disappoint. It was delicious every meal, every course. Plus we had the house prosescco each evening and it was beautiful...such a perfect setting. Honestly, it was magical.
All round, this place is a wonderful find. Incredible value and owe couldn't have been better cared for. I could have stayed much much longer....

And Italian wedding of an American couple.

Dozens of people from all over the world came to me at this hotel and to celebrate the wedding of American Couple in this small Italian town where one of the brides relatives years ago painted the ceiling fresco. The hotel within a nice setting looks like it was recently restored the ground for very nice the people are very friendly courteous prompt and made everyone feel very comfortable. Cellular phone reception was spotty. The pool area was clean nice however the attendance would not allow anyone to wear shoes and we're required to wear certain footwear . In addition they did not allow any food or drinks even water and plastic panel anywhere near the pool although there are no signs stating this. The attendance do not want any splashing or even jump aboard climb on the members of the wedding party. It's seem to be a little over-the-top. Given that, if we were in the area again we would no doubt stay here.

Absolutely beautiful hotel!

Had such a wonderful stay. The staff were so lovely and helpful with everything. They were able to help with transport and great advice about things to do around venice. The hotel was clean, quiet and tranquil. I would 100% stay there again. They were accommodating to all our needs.

We had a half board deal and both the breakfast and dinner was so lovely and worth it!

This trip was a birthday present for my partner and I can definitely say that it was a wonderful and romantic break away.

We booked this hotel because of the beautiful pictures we saw and yes, the hotel is as nice as the pictures are. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities. I booked this hotel for our Venice trip, which I made a distance mistake. Hotel is not close to Venice. By taxi/limo it takes about 25 minutes to the main island and if you don't have a great guy like Franco (our driver) you can be out of 60 EUR one way. However, there is a bus that runs very often and stops 20 yards away from the hotel. It took 40 minutes to go to Venice and only $15 EUR round trip for 2. So, in that regard the location is not too bad either. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. They get 5 stars from me in that regard.

A wonderful hotel. Service at the pool bar a little slow but otherwise fine. I would have preferred if the pool area wasn't open to non-guests as it can get a little overcrowded on weekends and in the evenings. The superior rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The nearby town is lovely with loads of places to eat and drink (just no convenience stores, weirdly)! Just watch out for the mozzies! All in all a great stay!

Short break to visit Venice.

The hotel is lovely set away from the hustle and bustle of Venice itself.I had an issue on the first day that €100 went missing from our room and on the 2nd day another €40 went.How it was done is a mystery as it was locked in the safe.The staff were helpful and I was given a small discount.I didn't get the police involved as I had activities booked and I was only there for 4 days.I would hope that nobody else encounters issues like that.continental breakfast was ok though the staff seem a bit slow replenishing items and relaying tables.our room was ready early for us which was nice and we had a garden room.was nice to have the use of the pool only it seemed that it was also being used by some locals.bus route is good takes 45 mins to get to Venice.Evening meal was good though the service was very slow.Be aware that pool parties and weddings are held at the hotel.

Great place out of Venice, but there is a bus less than 200 meters away that will take you into Venice in about 45 minutes. It's quite, the rooms are clean and it was great to be able to use a pool in such hot weather.

Perfect quiet base for a city break

Perfectly positioned for anyone wanting a Venice city break, but not wanting to pay Venice prices for a top rate hotel (no city tax here either!) It cost us the same amount to stay here for 3 nights (in a 4* hotel) as it would 1 night in Venice (in a much lower rated hotel).
Regular buses to Venice run from outside the hotel for under €4 each way and it only take around 40mins to go from quiet countryside to Venice. Free shuttle from the hotel to Mirano train station (on weekdays); we took the train to Verona one day for €16 return.
Great pool facilities. Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help us.
Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. There were gluten free options for one of our party and all menus were clear in listing ingredients if you have any food intolerances. We stayed in the hotel for dinner on our first evening and ate outside. Very reasonably priced considering the excellent standard of food and service.
I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to mix a city break with some peace and quiet in the Italian countryside.

Great hotel, would of paid more to stay here. 35-55min bus ride from Venice centre depending on traffic on the 7E. Stops right outside the hotel. The local town centre is also worth a visit with nice restraunts and pubs and more locals than tourists. Great selection of beer, wines. Clean room, great pool, and well maintained gardens/property.

Peaceful and loving pool

Loved this hotel and the fact it was an hour away into Venice (was right next to bus stop and was told times which ran every 20mins, so was very simple to get) as it was so peaceful in the hotel and basically had the pool to myself. Hotel receptionists, breakfast, and pool staff were very friendly. We got transport from the airport to the hotel which was a coach and then bus costing €19 so very cheap. (Some coach and bus drivers were quite rude). Overall an amazing place and will definitely stayed there in the same hotel again

Staff was nice, rooms small (we stay in a deluxe one) a nice touch is that have access to the garden, on Friday to Saturday they have a party till midnight an we were not able to sleep, we had planned to go early to Venice...
Breakfast is cold one if you arrive at the opening time not everything is set up, happen on both day we take breakfast there

A very nice stay

Stayed here for three days so we could visit my sister in Mirano. It takes about 10-15 mins to walk to Mirano centre. Across the road from the hotel there is a bus that will take you into Venice and it takes about 30 mins. We had a very nice stay and will stay here again when we return.

This hotel is in a lovely quiet location. Well quiet apart from the noisy grass hoppers. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and have everything you need. Found the bed hard for what I'm used to but still slept well. We paid for a superior room and so did the friends we went with. We both got superior rooms but please be aware that some room do not come with opening doors to the outside if you want opening double doors make sure you ask for a ground floor room. The pool area was lovely and we did spend time in the pool and sunbathing. The first day we ventured into Venice.
The hotel sells tickets for the bus which there is a bus stop just out to the right of the hotel. Bus tickets are €7.50 return and the journey into Venice is about 50 minutes & takes you to a bus station, from there you can explore. We did a gondola ride half hour €80 that seems standard with all offering then that's during the day....for evening it's €100. We went up the campanile tower in st marks square which is well worth it for views for about €8. We tried the hotel restaurant and wasn't impressed our friend was served uncooked chicken after over an hour waiting for food. After that experience we found other places to eat. A nice pub out to the right in the square in Mirano about 15 min walk did nice burgers chips pizza pasta beers & wine. There are also shops to buy water coke & bakers to buy bread cheeses & meat from & a butchers across the road sells his own home made wine.

Lovely, relaxing, welcoming hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Patriarca very much. It was excellent value for money. The hotel was set in lovely gardens and the pool was a good size, very clean with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. It was good to be able to order food from the pool-side bar for lunch. The breakfasts were delicious with a lot of variety of fruit, pastries and continental breakfast. The evening menu was also delicious, and a good wine selection. The staff were always kind and helpful and spoke English well, and took a lot of trouble to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was a real haven after our visits to the beautiful but busy city of Venice.

Struttura molto comoda per visitare le ville del Brenta, con ampio parcheggio. Le camere sono confortevoli, silenziose, pulite e ben arredate. Il personale è molto gentile ed anche il ristorante ha piatti buoni a prezzi ragionevoli. Colazione completa, sia dolce che salato, di buona qualità. La piscina ed il giardino attorno sono ben curati.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft 20 km Venedig entfernt. Das Zentrum von Mirano ist in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Dort sind einige Lokale. Wir haben auch 2x im Hotel gegessen. Ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Der Bus nach Venedig fährt eine knappe Stunde. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel. Busticket an der Rezeption erhältlich.
