The rooms were very spacious and clean. Great Filipino buffet breakfast every morning with different menu everyday. It is a walking distance from Gaisano Mall, which was very convenient. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful. I requested a room change and they were very accommodating. The customer service was excellent and had a very pleasant experience with them during my stay. I would definitely recommend.

Difficult to walk to the mall though it is one street away. Lack of sidewalks and vehicles blocking pedestrians forcing to walk on busy street. During peak hours, there is competition for any services due to medical school and elementary school students converging along with tourists and visitors.

The first room we were in, the AC stopped working on the third day. Fortunately, they moved us quickly to another room, which seemed smaller for some reason. We got in the room only to find the bathroom sink clogged. They came by to fix it pretty quickly but that's not the point. It should never get that way. The shower head was another issue...very dirty from the hard water. The breakfast was just okay, nothing to jump up and down about. Probably won't stay here again.

THe decor is.very dated
There are no drawers, just a cupboard with shelving and a rod with 6 hangers.
The breakfast buffet is substantial and varies daily. The restaurant service is a bit slow, but the food.is tasty.
We had.a nice view.

The pinnacle is a good hotel but it used to be excellent . The staff are still excellent but its beginning to show its age like all other hotels do. The food on the nenu is excellent but the breakfast is limited. The biggest downside i found was the shower curtin. It had clearly seen better days and should have been replaced. Would i stay there again. I am doing.

What’s there not to like about this Hotel. Everyone from security to front desk staff to restaurant workers always treat us well.

There were bugs in the room and beddings were dingy, pillows were so lumpy, and the towels were gray which I’m sure were white at one time. When I brought my concern to the staff’s attention they offered me another room but not that much different. They said they have a better room but I will have to pay extra for it. We had a 3 day reservation but checked out in less than 24hrs. I was not spending another penny on this hotel. I don’t know how this hotel even stay in business and I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND booking your stay here.

I have always stayed at Pinnacle when I visit Davao City, and was always happy about my stay…however, on this occasion, I felt the room I was in was not very clean, curtains falling off the rail, facing another bedroom window, toilets not very sanitised.

Very strict on Check In/Out, has P1000 Deposit for check in & P500 Deposit for requesting another key card, room is big which is nice but A/C isn't cooling since everything shuts off when key card is removed if youre eating out which a bit inconvenient esp if you have a gadgets that needs charging, found cheaper options near the area which we think is more premium than this hotel.

I’ve always stayed at Pinnacle Hotel when I visit my family ever since Marco Polo shut down. I always find it was quite convenient and the staff are friendly…however, this stay, I was a bit disappointed about their breakfast service! They ALWAYS ran out of fruits, dishes, Filipino kakanin and they were not topped up quickly, causing guests to wait 15-20 for a single dish ! If a paying guest dines, food should be available…

Room charge for “smoking/vaping in the room” when I don’t even smoke and I didn’t even stay there the night before. Was only there to shower. Was told that maybe the teenagers I was with were smoking/vaping. I was staying by myself since my mom already left that morning… both of us don’t smoke at all…

I was there to stay only for two days but ended up extended extra 3 days, because of how wonderful everything turned out. Very friendly staffing and helpful. Rooms and hotel very clean. Can walk to big mall in 5 minutes. Nothing negative except breakfast buffet has limited choice.
Over all I would rate this hotel a 9+ out of 10. Definitely will go back to stay.

I am glad i stayed at Pinnacle Hotel. A very nice high end hotel for the area. A great all you can eat breakfast from 6 to 10. Great staff. Beautiful pool area. Security was friendly and called taxi for us so didn't have to walk down to the main street. The main street around hotel looked a bit rough.

Breakfast was great. Good variety every morning and it changed.
Jacuzzi only worked for 1 day out of 5 I was there. Swimming pool/jacuzzi are very cold since they are undercover. They really need to be heated to be able to enjoy it.
Lots of cracks throughout the hotel caused by the recent earthquakes. Currently being repaired. My wife was assured by staff that the hotel had been inspected by engineers and was still structurally safe.

Pinnacle was a really nice, comfortable hotel to stay in. Very convenient to almost everything like shopping Mall, food places/ restaurants/ cafes/ and even a hospital.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
The only thing that needs to be improved is the WIFI connection.
We will be back.

The hotel was clearly very beautiful. Unfortunately, my room had some peeling paint and there was some grime in the bathroom. The good location, staff, and bread pudding made up for it. Room was bigger than expected. Front desk staff graciously agreed to extend my check out when I told her all flights were cancelled due to the storm

We stayed here for 1 night only to celebrate my MIL's 70th Birthday Bash!
I had to commend the receptionists as they were kind enough to let us checked-in earlier. Also they got that positive attitude and warm greetings.

Thus far, the room was spacious and I have to commend the breakfast buffet. It has improved a lot since the last time I visited this hotel.

So far, it was worth the price and we enjoyed our short stay at this hotel.

Staff, facilities and location is great. Close to a lot ammenities. The swimming pool is in a very bizzare location though. It would be nice if the pool was on the roof top so you could go for a swim and enjoy the sun.
That was my 2nd time there and will be back again when I'm in Davao.

I did not care for the 5th floor with the patio outside. I have stayed on the upper floors in the past and felt there was no access t the room other than the door. My preference.
