Uncomfortably hot and very noisy

The check-in staff were not friendly at all. The room was very hot with no way to cool it other than a small window. It was very noisy ALL night so we hardly slept. There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Very disappointed with the stay at this hotel.

We were upgraded to Scandic Havet as Scandic Bodo is being refurbished. Great view from the 12th floor of the harbour, great breakfast, within walking distance of most things. Highly recommend.

But room was very small, we looked into an office building about 20ft from us, and the hotel seemed \"tired,\" in need of an update and refresh. The area around the hotel was fine, safe, but not especially pretty since we were so close to the water.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, central location. We had 2 rooms booked, one of them was not cleaned before we came. They gave us a new room straight away after I let them know. They had a packed breakfast ready for us when we left as we left before breakfast time. We did request this and they were really helpful with organising this and it was a lovely gesture. Staff was really nice and friendly. Big minus was the room condition in the first room and the rooms was VERY hot and with no other option than to open the windows towards the road outside, it became quite noisy when trying to sleep. As it was 24 hours daylight and curtains did not cover the windows it was too much light at night. Overall a lovely hotel, staff really helpful and friendly, but minus on curtains and rooms way to hot.

Nice place to relax and enjoy vacation

As the hotel is in the heart of the city, I was able to walk everywhere.
The room was ideal, and all of my special requests were accommodated.
They provided a decent breakfast selection, quick cleaning, and daily towel renewal in the room.
Although the hotel parking was a disappointment, the receptionist was quite helpful and was able to direct us to an excellent parking location.

Stayed here on the nights of 13th and 14th June 2019. The location of this property is ideal, only 15 mins walk from ferry terminal, about 10 mins from train station and close to the centre. Everything in the hotel was great and the lady in reception most helpful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Excellent Customer care for Guests.

Our room was clean and spacious and it had a great view of the harbour. The reception staff was very friendly and regarding our request for earlier breakfast at 5am (usual is 7am) as we needed to catch a ferry to Lofoten at 6am. He readily agreed. The next morning, we were welcomed by almost the full breakfast spread with the exception of the hot food. But it was more than our expectation, fresh cut fruits, bread, trays of cheese and cold cuts were already set up before 5am. Thank you for accommodating to our request as it ensure us (as well as fellow travellers) are well fed for our upcoming travel.

Var skuffet over følgende: når det bestilles rom til barn 0 år, forventer jeg egen seng til baby. Rommet inneholdt 2 enkeltsenger satt sammen, og med en voksen i hver seng, må babyen ligge mellom dem, og sengene sitter ikke sammen, og babyen vil skli i gulvet nå sengene går fra hverandre. Resultat er at mor og baby har sovet 2 netter på ei 75 cm bred seng og mor var gla hotelloppholdet var over.
Mye springing og roping i gangene torsdag kveld av barn. Frem og tilbake i flere timer.

Roomservice, einen Tag vorher bestellt. Am nächsten Tag um 18.00 Uhr 1 Handtuch und ein Badetuch bekommen für ein Doppelzimmer mit 2 Personen. Der Flur im 4 Stock vor der Königssuite verdreckt. Das macht keinen guten Eindruck. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist sehr unfreundlich.

Huone oli siisti, mutta erittäin kuuma. Meillä oli huone varattu viidelle, mutta huoneesta puuttui yksi peti, sekä peitto ja tyyny. Pyysimme näitä ja luvattiin toimittaa 45min kuluessa mutta koskaan niitä ei tuotu, ei edes tyynyä ja peittoa. En ymmärrä miksi asia luvataan jos sitä ei toteuteta, odotimme niitä useamman tunnin kunnes laitoimme ilman niitä nukkumaan. Aamupala oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Kannattaa huomioida että hotellilla ei ole parkkipaikkoja ilmoituksesta huolimatta.

Good breakfast and dirty windows

The Hotel was in general quite good. Room was a bit small and there was no fridge available. Also no desk/work table. But they made up for it by a quite good breakfast; and an extra star for the breakfast leftover snacks that were left in the reception area during the day.
It doesnt get full score because the windows were very dirty. It let through light so I could see if it was day or night outside, but otherwise not possible to see much was going out outside on the street.

Strongly overpriced. Room didn´t have even a small table, no clothing cabinet, just a metal pipes on the wall, where one is supposed to hang clothes. My wife didn´t appreciate to hang her underwears on it.-No wonder! No place for our suitcases. We had to leave them in the car on the street, and fetch anything separately we needed from them. Really a single occupancy room, and we were two adults. We took pictures for the internet too.

Vi ankom hotellet sent en onsdag. Romme var svært lite og ekstremt varmt. Ingen ventilasjon så vi måtte sove med vinduet på vidt gap, med utestedet Dama Di som nærmeste nabo. Høy musikk frem til 0330 og støy resten av natta. Den verste opplevelsen vi noen gang har hatt på en reise.

Uanmeldt besøk op natten og dårlig luft

Veldig dårlig luft/ventilation på rummet.

Etter vi hadde gået i seng, kom der pludselig andre gjester inn på vores rum. Barne blev veldig redd og var vanskelig og få til og sove igjen, veldig upraktisk når vi skulle tidlig opp for en tidlig flight.
